Claiming His Baby

  “Mom, what’s going on?”

  “I’m at your hospital, honey.”

“What? I thought your appointment with Dr. Craig wasn’t until Friday.”

The line stays quiet for a few seconds, but I can just feel the disapproval oozing from the other end of the phone. “You don’t sound very happy about me being here, dear.”

“No, it’s just…” I fumble for words to say. Luckily, I’ve had a lot of practice preventing one of Mom’s outbursts from happening. “I just think it’s too bad that you’re here today, because it’s pretty busy time.”

“Oh, that’s okay, dear, I’ll come and find you. You just stay where you are.”

“No, no.” That would be worse. I don’t want her to come here and bump into Gabe. That’s the stuff of my nightmares. I check my watch. “I can get away to see you. This hospital is like a maze. I don’t want you to get lost.”

“Oh, okay.” I can almost hear the smile in Mom’s voice.

“You’re near Dr. Craig’s office, right?”

“Actually, I’m still in the lobby, and I don’t remember how to get to his office. I was just about to ask the girl at the counter when you called.”

“Wait there. I’ll meet you there and take you to Dr. Craig’s office.”

I end the call, feeling like I’ve just dodged a bullet.

Nina, the new nurse working the main desk at the lobby, is incredibly chatty. She would’ve started a long conversation with my mom and introduced her to a few other people. She might’ve even taken a few selfies with my mom to show the people she didn’t get to introduce.

That would’ve pulled Mom too deep into my “workplace” box.

I breathe a sigh of relief when I see Mom sitting by herself in the waiting room. “Hi, Mom. Where’s Ray?”

“Oh, he had to go see a friend. He’ll pick me up after my appointment.”

Of course. What am I thinking? There’s no way Ray would just sit here in the hospital for one hour to wait for Mom to finish talking to her “head doctor.”

“So what are your plans for today, Mom?”

As my mom gets distracted by the task of reading out her to-do list, I nod and smile at Nina when we pass the counter, then I break eye contact and walk as fast as Mom can.

My eyes widen when I realize there’s a picture of the Chief of Medicine—Gabe’s dad—on the wall of the hallway. I move to the other side to block Mom’s view of it.

I don’t know how she’s never noticed it before, but she’s not the most observant person I know, and it’s not something people pay attention to. Hell, I’ve overlooked that picture even though I’ve walked through this hall hundreds of times before.

My mom is ten minutes early, so I sit with her until her turn with Dr. Craig comes. Some people recognize me and smile at my mom as they walk past, which makes me nervous. But nobody says anything.

I guess my mom looks just like any other patient, and they don’t suspect any special relationship between us.

As long as neither Gabe nor Gabe’s dad walks past, we should be fine.

I huff a relieved sigh when a nurse calls my mom’s name and she disappears into Dr. Craig’s room.

I know it’s a risk every week when Mom sees her doctor. That’s why I was opposed to her coming here.

But there’s nothing I can do about it. Dr. Craig is her regular shrink now and that’s that.

At least when she comes here on my day off, she doesn’t try to find me and wander all over the hospital.

Mom doesn’t like talking to strangers so she usually keeps her interactions with the hospital staff to a minimum. But if she gets it into her head that I know these people, she’d get a lot more talkative because they’re supposed to be my friends.

Oh, well. At least I got her to agree to go straight home after her appointment.

  So that’s one crisis handled.

Now, I need to think about what to do with Gabe.

“Why didn’t you tell me?” Gabe’s voice surprises me. It’s like just the thought of him has conjured him up before me.

  Shit.

Mom just went into Dr. Craig’s room, like, a second ago. Did he see her?

  Jacqueline

What is he talking about? Did he see Mom? Or is this about my virginity?

I think I can get away with being the kind of virgin who picks up a stranger for a one-night stand—it’ll be tricky, but there’s a small chance I can pull it off.

But if Gabe finds out who I’m related to, I’m done.

At least we’re in one of the hospital’s busy hallways, so there’s less chance of someone making a scene. All bets are off, though, if my mom happens to step out of Dr. Craig’s office now.

“Why didn’t I tell you… Uh…” I stall while I rack my brain for the right thing to say. I decide to go with something vague. “It’s… a very difficult thing to tell someone.”

“Yeah, but don’t you think you should’ve told me? You’re playing a dangerous game here, angel,” Gabe says sternly as he crosses his arms across his chest.

The fact that he’s calling me “angel” is a good sign. At least he hasn’t started calling me “Jackie.”

“I know that now. I’m sorry.” I still can’t be sure what Gabe’s talking about, but apologizing is probably the fastest way to end this.

“I don’t know what your deal is, but you’re going about it the wrong way.” Gabe runs his fingers through his thick, chestnut-colored hair as he lets out a big sigh. “I’m just glad you’re okay. I could’ve hurt you.”

I let out a big exhale, suddenly realizing that I’ve been holding my breath.

He didn’t find out about who I am. He’s just worried about me. Aww… that is so sweet. My chest swells at the knowledge that Gabe has been concerned about my well-being, and a smile forms on my lips.

“How’s your mom?” Gabe asks, a storm in his green eyes.

  What?

Okay, seriously what are we talking about?

“My mom?” I ask, my heart jumping into my throat.

“Yeah, there was a phone call from your mom before you left the room, right?” Gabe asks casually.

“Oh, right.” I slowly let out a surreptitious relieved exhale through my nose. My heart is getting an extreme work-out from all these close calls. “She’s fine,” I say. “I’m fine. Everything’s fine.” I think I’m trying to convince him as much as I’m trying to convince myself.

If this keeps happening, something will soon go wrong with my heart. It’s been running way past its safe capacity all day.

“Good.” In a tougher tone, Gabe asks, “So, what is it? You were just tired of being a virgin and you decided to pick a random guy at a party?”

That couldn’t be further from the truth. I’m perfectly okay with being a virgin and Gabe is the opposite of “random.”

“Yeah, something like that,” I hear myself say.

“That was reckless. You should’ve been more careful.” Gabe’s steely voice only makes me happier. He must care about me if he gets that worried about hurting me.

“I don’t know the right way to go about it, losing my virginity. Could you show me?” I ask coyly in an attempt to shift the mood.

Gabe’s eyes darken, and I know he’s thinking about the same thing I’m thinking about: his thick, hard cock penetrating my virgin pussy.

“Of course. I’m happy to oblige.” A smile spreads across his chiseled features.

The promise in his words sends a shudder down my spine. My heart pounds in my chest at the thought of Gabe claiming my virgin body for himself.

“Come to my hotel room tonight at 9. Sharp. Just because you’re a virgin doesn’t mean you’ll get off easy. I’ll still punish you if you’re late. Do you understand?” Gabe stares deep into my eyes with an air of authority.

I can’t possibly say “no” to Gabe. Not when he puts something so irresistibly enticing on the table. Not even if I have to pretend to be someone else to get into his be
d.

  “Yes.”

“Come in,” Gabe says in his deep, alluring voice as he opens the door to his hotel room.

He has changed out of his scrubs and white coat, into a pair of jeans and a white T-shirt that pulls snugly across his chest, showing hints of the hard lines and ridges underneath.

He smiles, but it’s not a friendly smile. There’s a hungry glint in his eyes, and his gaze caresses my body in a way that leaves no doubt as to what he wants.

There’s no pretense tonight—at least not as far as Gabe is aware. He didn’t pick me up in his car. We didn’t go to dinner first, or a walk on the beach. We both know what we’re here for.

“You’re six minutes late,” Gabe says menacingly as he puts his big, warm hand on my back and leads me deeper into his room.

The Excelsior is an old hotel, with its stone facade and its creeping vines. It’s obvious the management has been taking good care of it, though.

It looks like there’s a fresh coat of dark stain on the wood paneling on the walls, and the upholstery has been updated to a simpler, more modern style. The room has been equipped with modern technology too, from a large flat-panel HDTV mounted on the wall, to a gadget-charging station on the nightstand.

“I took off early, but the traffic was really bad,” I protest.

It doesn’t help that Gabe ordered me to put on the red dress that I wore to the party, and I had to go home to get it. I even had to bribe my cab driver with an extra ten bucks so he’d go faster.

To be fair to Gabe, if I really did live in Karen’s apartment, which is only a couple of blocks away from the hospital, I would’ve made it on time.

“Did I ask for excuses?” Gabe asks. “The fact remains that you’re six minutes late, and you know what happens when you’re six minutes late, don’t you?”

I lower my head and look up at Gabe from under my eyelashes.

  I remember.

I remember every single thing he said on the balcony. But I can’t bring myself to say it.

“Let me refresh your memory.” Gabe pauses as he takes a seat on the edge of the bed.

I start to sit down beside him, but Gabe grabs my wrist.

“Did I tell you to sit down?”

“No,” I say softly as I stand back up.

“Good girl. We’re getting off to a good start.” Gabe smirks. “Your first lesson is, whatever I say, goes.”

A thrill runs down my spine at the thought of being completely under Gabe’s control. This is a combination of all my dirtiest fantasies coming to life.

I didn’t even dare imagine that Gabe would take my virginity and dominate me while he does it. I was worried that he’d treat me like a fragile little thing when he found out I’m a virgin, but it seems I was worried for nothing.

“Did you hear me, angel?” Gabe asks. “I want you to answer me with your words.”

  “Yes.”

“You know what’s going to happen now?”

  “Yes.”

  “What is it?”

  I hesitate. “You’re going to… spank me.”

“That’s right, angel. Get on my lap,” Gabe says as he pats his thigh.

  “Yes.”

I’ve seen this on… uh, various sites on the Internet… that I just happened to stumble upon. I’ll just have to lie across Gabe’s lap.

As I bend down, Gabe says, “Not there.”

He grabs my waist with his strong hands and positions me so I’m straddling his thigh. My body lies along the same thigh and my head rests on the bed behind Gabe’s back.

He pulls the hem of my dress up until the red fabric bunches up around my waist. My lace panties are kind of see through, so he can see my ass right now.

Maybe there’s no reason to get embarrassed because I’ve already seen Gabe’s cock, but I’ve never taken any article of clothing off for any man before. My heart beats so hard I wonder if Gabe can feel it pulsing against his thigh.

He pulls my panties down to expose my ass and pussy, then without a warning, his palm lands on my ass. Smack!

Even though I knew Gabe was going to do that, I still cry out in surprise.

“Scream all you want,” Gabe says darkly. “It only makes me harder.”

I clutch the bedsheets with my fingers and stiffen my muscles, bracing myself for more pain.

But instead, Gabe lightly caresses my ass cheek, soothing the stinging pain and turning it into warm, almost-pleasant tingles.

As Gabe’s hand wanders over my pussy lips, the pain vanishes and my body floods with warmth. I can feel myself growing wetter. Am I staining Gabe’s jeans?

Just when I start to relax, Gabe gives me another smack, and I start to scream in pain. But as my hips buck from the spanking, my soaked lower lips rub against the rough denim of Gabe’s jeans, and my scream ends with a gasp.

“What just happened, angel?” Gabe asks in a teasing voice that tells me he knows exactly what has just happened. “Is it starting to feel good?”

“Yes,” I answer softly as my cheeks flush with color. I’m glad Gabe can’t see my face right now.

“It’s not supposed to feel good. It’s a punishment,” he says sternly, even as his hand spreads warm tingles all over my ass and pussy. “But since you’ve been such a good girl, you can grind yourself against me if you want.”

Before I can stop myself, my hips rock back and forth against Gabe’s thighs. The pressure builds in my core, and I pick up my pace.

This is definitely not most graceful thing I’ve ever done, but I don’t care anymore. Gabe has gotten me hooked on his intoxicating concoction of pain, pleasure, and dominance, and all that matters is chasing the next high.

“That’s right,” Gabe says in a sinister voice. “Hump my leg like a bitch in heat.”

Gabe’s degrading words only fuels my desire, and I grind myself more shamelessly.

  Smack!

  Smack!

Gabe spanks me twice in a row. It looks like I’m not the only one getting worked up here.

He rubs my stinging skin but before I get any real chance to recover, Gabe spanks me two more times.

Gabe pulls my hips back so I stop grinding, and he runs his fingers over my wet folds. “Looks like you’re ready to be fucked, angel.”

I shriek as Gabe leans me back on the bed and turns me over on my back. I can still feel the sharp sting of his palm, and my skin burns hot and sensitive now against the soft hotel bedsheets.

He puts his knee between my legs, forcing them apart and getting on top of me. I didn’t know it felt so vulnerable to be underneath a man, knowing how much bigger and stronger he is. He can do whatever he wants to me.

He yanks off his shirt, revealing a broad chest and a set of six-pack abs. I’ve seen him shirtless before, but not like this. Never like this. I was usually watching from a distance, unable to touch him or even hope to see more of his golden skin.

I watch as he removes his jeans, mesmerized. The shadows from the dim lighting dance over his hard body with every little movement he makes.

He’s beautiful. And this beautiful creature is about to claim my untouched body for himself.

The thought excites me as Gabe leans down to ravish my mouth with his lips, his tongue, and his teeth. I can only lie back and open up for him, letting him overwhelm my senses.

“Are you ready?” Gabe asks as he pulls away, both of us panting with impatience.

My core is molten lava, my pussy muscles are clenching around air, and my clit is aching. “Yes.”

Gabe grabs a condom from the nightstand and quickly puts in on, then he reaches down and lines up his cock with my opening. The spongy head pressing threateningly against me.

  I’m scared.

  But I want this.

It’s never going to get more perfect than this.

Maybe I’m going to struggle my whole life, trying to find a man who could fuck me like Gabe could, but I don’t care.

I want Gabe to be the first man inside me.
r />   Gabe pushes inside, and I wince as his thick cock stretches me.

“Is it really going to fit?” I wrap my hands around Gabe’s strong, muscular arms so tight my knuckles are turning white.

“Of course it is.” Gabe’s forearms are on both sides of my head, surrounding me, making me feel small and protected. He strokes my hair.

I gasp as he slides a little deeper and look down. This hurts like a bitch!

“Look at me,” Gabe says, making me meet his gaze as he pulls out and thrusts in a little deeper. “Don’t think about the pain. Just look at me. Relax.”

I listen to Gabe’s advice and loosen my muscles. I open myself up further, spreading my legs wider even though the pain makes it feel counter-intuitive.

“Good girl. You’re going to be okay. Bite my shoulder as hard as you want if it hurts,” Gabe says soothingly, even as his cock is tearing me into two, inflicting the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life.

Tears escape my eyes, gliding down my temples and seeping into the bedsheets.

I pull Gabe down and put my teeth on his solid, muscular shoulder. Like he asked me to, I bite down hard. It feels like Gabe’s rubbing sharp shards of glass into my pussy. I have to fight through this pain.

“Fuck, you’re tight,” Gabe says as he stills.

I let go of his shoulder and lay my head down on the bed. I look into his eyes. What’s going on?

“I’m all the way in, angel,” Gabe says.

  “Really?” I ask in disbelief.

It still hurts, but now that Gabe is not moving, it’s a lot better. Instead of the sharp, debilitating kind of pain, now it’s just the dull, throbbing kind of pain.

“Yeah. I told you it would fit,” Gabe says with a wicked smile. “I’ll take it slow. Let me know if it hurts.”

  I nod.

“Use your words, angel. Don’t forget our rules.”

  “Yes.”

  “Good.”

Gabe shifts a little, and I gasp at the spark of pleasure in my center. That’s… different. I kind of like it.

As if he can hear my thoughts, Gabe’s lips spreads into a cocky smile.

Just as he promised, Gabe pulls back slowly and slides back in. It gradually feels better and better, until my whimpers turn into moans. Soon, I have my legs wrapped around his waist and my hands pulling him down into me.
