Dragonflies The Duncan Peters Files

“I love you Simone Morris.” He looked deeply into her eyes.
She kissed him back; her stomach was doing back flips now, she could feel the tears build up in her eyes as she breathed through the rush of her orgasm that ripped through her body.
“I love you too Duncan,” she panted as she melted into him.
It was pretty much like that, even the morning he left. That day she cried her eyes out. She felt so terribly alone. The house was too big and empty without him. She was grateful Jessica had called and decided to come round after hearing how down her little sister sounded. It was the first time she had been around since they had officially moved in. Both Jessica and Rubin had decided that two weeks went far too quickly and they would make the most of the time they had together, plus the ‘Love birds’ as Rubin liked to call Simone and Duncan, needed the same.
Simone could see Jess was impressed with the house, as they walked from room to room. Simone smiled to herself as they went into each room, knowing the acts that she and Duncan had done in each of the rooms. Jessica caught her smiling.
“What’s with the smile?” She asked whilst looking at the grinning Simone, who said nothing, but continued to smile like ‘the cat that got the cream’. She nudged playfully into her, “So are you in love?”
“Oh God yes Jess, hook line and sinker, I swear, I never felt this way about David. Ever! I just think of Dunc, and I turn to jelly. Seriously Jess, I can’t believe how much I love him. He‘s the whole package and more. Don’t you feel the same about Rube’s?”
She looked away from Simone, knowing full well, her eyes would tell her exactly how she felt about Rubin. She changed the subject, ignoring Simone’s question.
“Even babies?” Teased Jessica.
“Yes Jess, even babies, I really do love him. He does something to me that nobody else has. He is so bloody clever it’s not funny Jess. Did you know both he and Rubin studied at Cambridge University? That’s how he and Rube’s met. They both had scholarships, and then they were recruited by the RAF, they went to the officers academy there.” Jess looked at her strangely. “Jess, they are seriously clever chaps.”
“Well I knew they did quite a lot together, they even went to sex parties from what I understand.” She looked at Simone very matter of factly, before she realised the horrified look on her sister’s face that had recoiled. She grabbed her arm realising her flippant comment had hurt her sister. Jessica had known nothing of Rubin’s personal history like Simone did about Duncan. She knew only his sordid sex stories. And that was because when she asked one night while they were doing something she hadn’t tried before or come to think of, she hadn’t even heard of and he had told her about him and Duncan’s antics. “Oh Simone, take no notice of me.” Yes her flippant comment had done its job alright, too well.
It was too late as Jess was left alone in the room, Simone ran down the stairs to the kitchen. Jessica followed her down, feeling quite deflated, as she joined Simone who was starting to make a pot of coffee, trying to compose herself. Jessica sat herself down on one of the chrome barstools that were by the counter on the island.
“Simmy, sorry I was being a bitch, look, he doesn’t do that now does he?” She tilted her head towards Simone who was stood by the coffee maker looking at her. “That was BEFORE you, I’m sorry,” she threw her hands in the air. “I don’t even know why I said it,” she put her fingers to her head like a gun, and pulled her finger trigger. She pretended to die instantly dropping her head gently to the counter with her eyes closed. She opened one looking at Simone, who was still looking unimpressed with her sister. “Ohh Simmy, don’t be mad at me.” She looked over ‘sad faced’ at her sister. “Simmy, please, I’m sorry, me and my mouth, I’m sorry.” She blinked her eyes pitifully at Simone.
Simone looked over at Jessica. What could she do? She had no reason to be mad at Duncan. That was his life before her, and she has no right to judge. He never brought it to their bed. We all have things, ‘luggage’ as she liked to call it and it wasn’t how much luggage you had, that mattered, it was how you carried it. Plus at least she knew why Duncan knew all those things that made her panties thump, when she thought about them the next day.
“It’s okay Jess,” she tried to brush it over. “So, what’s going on with you and Rubin? How are things going?”
The rest of the afternoon was spent on lots of small talk, followed by a bottle or two of wine. Jess, thankfully stayed the night. She was glad she did, at least it stopped her from wearing one of his shirts to bed. Okay she opted for one of his t-shirts instead of an ‘I’m heartbroken, and I’m missing my boyfriend’ look. It didn’t stop her, from crying herself to sleep, even with jess, lying in the bed next to her, where her Duncan should be...no, that didn't help...not at all.. She consoled herself with the thoughts that they only had another four years of this before his service would come to an end. Yes four more long years, and with that thought she finally drifted off to sleep on her tear soaked pillow.
During Duncan’s four month tour, Simone settled very nicely into the house she now called home on Ellerslie Road W12. She busied herself with the day to day activates, of jostling a job, and her home. It didn’t seem enough to keep herself busy, so she decided to take driving lessons; she passed her test first time. Jess, was busying herself with any flights she could sign up for, she found it was the only way to deal with the long lonely days. Simone almost wrote every day to Duncan, she wanted him to know how much she missed him. And he called as often as he could; it was torture for her hearing his voice. As soon as she heard his voice, she would get that longing ache for him, especially if they had phone sex, which always happened. She would strain her ears almost to hear some of the things he whispered to her. Things that he would do to her when he next saw her, she could imagine his hand clasping the telephone as he whispered into it. By the end of the calls her panties would be positively thumping, oh how her body ached for him. It was relentless.
She didn’t even know where he was posted, there was so much going on in the world he could have been stationed anywhere. Every time she turned on the TV it would be some troops somewhere, in some war zone. It was terrifying to watch not knowing if Duncan was one of those men, and no doubt Rubin close behind him. She found herself staring up close to the TV screen, every time she saw soldiers, to see if she could see either of them, she knew it was stupid, but she couldn’t help herself. She would call Jess constantly at first, to see if she heard any news from Rubin, but apparently she knew far less than she did. Apparently Rubin wasn’t as good with the contacting as Duncan was, and knowing this, she was careful with what she shared with Jess, which just made it harder to deal with. Yes four months was hard especially as they had hardly spent any time apart since they had first met only those few months ago.
Everything Simone put her mind to she accomplished, she was by nature a high achiever. Well she had no choice to be when up against the lovely Jessica who was extremely pretty. She hadn’t forgotten what Jess had said. She had done nothing but think about it. It bounced around in her head, torturing her. She imagined him to be in various positions with an array of different women, it consumed her. She hated herself for it as she wasn’t a jealous person, but this one thing had pushed a button. She was fine before she knew it, but now she knew it, it was a different matter altogether. It left her with the question ‘Would she ever be enough for him?’

The Reason..
1994 passed and 1995 came into play with the couple knowing there was only two more years left to go before he left the military. Simone thought it was only two more years until they could start living a normal life, without having to work around his various tours. She thought back to the Christmas that had just passed. It had been a wonderful Christmas; she was in her element cooking the Christmas feast, and took great pride in the job she had done. It was a wonderful day, her parents, Jessica and Rubin and her Dunc carving the turkey at the end of the table.
Her
father even made a joke about ‘how well Duncan did’, and he was quite relieved not to have to do the ‘honours’ this year. It was a job he hated doing. Duncan looked as proud as punch, as he winked over at Simone who had just brought in the Gammon she lovingly roasted and garnished. Rubin was up like a shot as he grabbed the other set of knives. He switched the blade against the sharpener like a master. It was fascinating to watch as he cut through the meat like a true professional, making very light work of it. When she was finished she sat herself down next to Duncan, whose hand instantly went under the table and rested on her thigh lovingly, she smiled up at him knowing after dinner they would open the presents. It was just like they had done, when she was growing up. But not the present she had upstairs, hiding, waiting for him, safely in her drawer. She wished the day would be over and everyone would go home, so she could give it to him.
The day went slow enough, as she expected it to. Simone and Duncan stood at the door waving her parents off in their car on the short trip they had home. Duncan had his arms draped over her shoulders. She could feel him press up against her back, as he nuzzled into her neck.
“I have another present for you,” she smiled as she waved them off.
“Ohh have you really? Funny I have one for you too.” He laughed as he pressed his firming cock against her.
Duncan’s hand moved around to her bottom as he gave it a slight pinch as she leapt up into the air and ran playfully back into the house with Duncan chasing her up the stairs towards their bedroom. As he got to the room, Simone was leaning into her bedside drawer draped over the bed. When she pulled back there in her delicate hands was a perfectly wrapped long thin box. She sat up on her elbow and beckoned him with her finger. He smiled kneeling up onto the bed as he started to undo his shirt buttons and was now, straddled across her. She laid there, as though some helpless heroine in a 1920’s silent movie, her hands behind her head. The neatly wrapped gift still clutched in her hand.
“So you have another gift for me?” He smiled down at her while he pulled the shirt off his back, his shoes landing on the floor with two thumps.
“I do, but I’m wondering if I should give it to you now or later?” she smiled seductively at him, trying to sound blasé in her response to him. “I mean, my parent’s gift of argyle socks was overwhelming I’m sure.” She mocked trying not to laugh and keep a straight face.
All the while Duncan undressed, as he listened to Simone. Satisfied with his quick undressed state he started to work on Simone’s clothes as she continued to speak.
“Yes and the golf sweater? I think dad wants you to go golfing with him, just think you’ll be golf buddies.’ She laughed as he leaned down and pressed his lips on hers.
“I have a little present for you myself,” he said through an array of deep and soft kisses, “but I’m going to give it to you after this one” and he resumed with the teasing of his tongue on hers.
In his arms her body came alive; his mouth moved down her neck, his tongue caressed her collarbone down to her ample breast’s which where cupped in each of his hands his fingers toying with them, making them instantly hard to his touch. She watched him look down at them with a look of devilment in his eyes, as his tongue encircled the nipple of one, then the other, making it ping to attention at his every flick and nibble. Her body squirmed under his, to every touch his fingers made, as they moved slowly down across her stomach. Duncan’s touch was electrifying as he found her soft folds, his fingers found her opening and he stroked her inner core, she moved with his hand like a wave on the sand. She could feel the warm glow stirring inside, overcome, she pulled his face to hers, kissing him hard, as Duncan’s hand drew back and forth inside her. She had well and truly forgotten about the box she had released to kiss him.
She felt his hard length move against her thigh. She knew he would make her cum like this; she was so near, her breathing heavier with every stroke his hand made. The warm rush started to take hold; she could feel her eyes narrowing, with every gasp she made, while he watched her cum.
“Oh God Duncan, I need you in me now,” she gasped breathless. He shook his head no as she quivered under his hand. “Duncan, now,” she gasped as she pulled his face to hers.
He wasn’t left with any choice with the way she had positioned him to her. She pulled him to her lips with urgency. Simone felt his hard length between her thighs, as Duncan slowly slid in, teasing her with his slow, grinding hips, she moaned, and her senses were well and truly overwhelmed as he drove further with every move his thrusting hips made. She was in seventh heaven as she felt another rush overtake her, her legs wrapping instinctively around his buttocks which were pounding at some velocity. She knew he was near, as he started to steady his pace to a much slower, steadier, more of a grind, to her every groan of ecstasy as he kissed her hard, she could feel him pumping his load, she just melted under him as he lay on her, his head on the pillow next to hers. They breathed hard, trying to catch their breaths. She felt the familiar hard shape of the box digging into her shoulder, she hadn’t remembered it until she had moved slightly and one of the corners dug into her.
“Oh I forgot to give you this,” and she pulled the slightly crushed in one corner box out from underneath her. “Here,” and she handed him the box as she slumped back onto the pillow.
Duncan rolled over to his side, and looked at her while he slowly un-wrapped the small parcel. He looked at its contents as the packaging was unveiled.
“Is this what I think it is?” His eyes lit up, as he sat upright, his attention solely on the gift. The naked Duncan knelt up, almost bouncing on the bed. “Is this real? Is this really happening” he repeated excitedly.
Simone nodded her head ’Yes’, as Duncan grabbed her gently, showering her with kisses, his voice was ecstatic as he continued to bounce on the bed still hugging Simone.
“You’re not going to believe this, but remember I told you I had a little present for you?”
She nodded her head, yes, delighted at his response at their good news. She had been a little worried how he would react. She laughed to herself as she watched him jump off the bed excitedly and pick up his trousers from the floor.
*****
Duncan jumped off the bed and made for his trousers that were in a crumpled heap on the floor having been discarded earlier. His heart was pounding in his chest with the exhilaration he felt, it was like he was going to burst with the excitement. His hands were all fingers and thumbs as he reached in and grabbed the square velvet box that had been waiting in his pocket for the right moment. The box nearly fell twice before he brought it level to Simone. Suddenly he felt very conscious of his nakedness, especially with what he was about to ask.
“Hold on, just a minute.” He held one digit of his finger up on his big manly hands. “Just give me one minute,” and he slipped off the bed and started to pull on his boxer shorts. He stood there, looking for his trousers which had conveniently slipped under the bed, when he removed the ring from them. He was all butter fingers, as he tried to pull them on in haste, knowing Simone was waiting still lying on the bed now leaning on her side, her head perched on her hand as she watched him. As soon as the zip was up on his trousers he moved to the bed, and knelt down on one knee.
“Simone Morris, will you do me the honor of marrying me?” and he opened the box.
He knew she liked it as her face lit up, as she jubilantly replied “Yes, yes, yes I will marry you Dunc.” His heart felt like it would burst as he saw the tears of joy form in her eyes.
“I asked your dad today,” he smiled up at her, as he slid the ring on her delicate finger. “And of course he said yes because it’s me, and let’s face it, he loves me. Oh, and he did say that he would kill me if I hurt you,” he laughed. “Does anyone know? When are you due?”
He wanted to ask a million other questions, but he just couldn’t think of them here and now.
“No, it’s only you and me so far, I have to go to the doctors in the New Year to confirm the pre
gnancy. And you can’t tell anyone yet Dunc, it’s too soon. I only took the test the other day. I wanted to tell you straight away, but I didn’t. I wanted it to be a surprise, and I wanted you to always remember today as a special one.” She smiled at him
He moved up from off his knee, and sat down on the bed next to her, he pulled her against him, hugging her gently as he lay back on the pillows, her on his chest. He felt so happy, like he would explode with pride. He sat back and thought, nearly four years ago, his heart had been betrayed so cruelly by Juliette. At that time he thought he would have never recovered after her ultimate betrayal. That seemed like a million years ago, he hadn’t thought much of her since divorcing her. Simone had eradicated all of those bad memories a long time ago. He loved Simone with every ounce of his being. Life was perfect. He jolted upright.
“I have to tell Rube’s, sorry I know its early days, but I have to tell him,” he jumped off the bed excitedly and grabbed the phone at the side of his bed on his unit.
