Unexpected Love

TC grinned. “I know, right! Hold on. I know you’re getting excited, but let me continue. I took the initiative to preregister us with an all-inclusive package. I queried everything online with expedia.com. I didn’t want to book or finalize anything until I spoke with you two first. The whole trip will cost about $9,644 for the three of us. It may be a little more because I was thinking we could upgrade our seats when we get to the airport.
“Also, we must remember to check-in for the plane before we leave if we choose not to upgrade. This price will cover our flight, rental car, hotel, amenities at the hotel, and tour guides. I feel so excited right now! I think we should fly first class. Any objections?” TC paused for an answer.
“First class? Isn’t that over the top?” Dee responded.
“Yes, and no. When was the last time you flew First class?” TC inquired.
“We never flew did. You know that. So why now,” El asked?
TC jumped to her feet to express herself more intently. “Hear me out, and then we will talk logistics. Ok, we can fly first class round trip and lodge at the Copacabana Palace Hotel in the Presidential Suite. The room amenities are off the hook. They offer an alarm system, cable-satellite TV, hairdryer, an in room safe, mini bar, modem data-port for laptops and Wi-Fi, robes, telephone, flat screen television, and a spa bathroom. Hello, a spa bathroom. Is anyone listening? We also have access to the hotel amenities, which include fitness and spa facilities, sauna, and whirlpools.”
The sound of breaking glass and loud voices interrupted TC’s speech. She ran to the terrace with her sisters close behind her. “Ok, what the hell is going on now? We haven’t had this much excitement in this complex since I can remember.”
“What excitement are you thinking of? Nothing ever goes on here,” El responded.
“Well, huh, yeah, that’s what I mean,” TC replied. “Look, I told you something was going on. Do you believe me now? It’s the same lady and who do you think that man is she’s yelling and pointing her finger at?”
El and Dee responded simultaneously, “Mr. Sexy!”
“Yes, it’s Mr. Sexy. I mean, No! It’s Professor Seth Howard! I told you he was up to no good. That man is nothing but bad news. I try my damnest to stay out of his path, but it seems as if he is pursuing me,” TC exclaimed.
“Ok, TC, I think as usual you may be overreacting a bit. Be quiet so we can hear what’s going on. Cut the lights out so we won’t be seen watching,” Dee ordered.
TC hurried to cut the lights out and returned. “What did I miss?”
Dee replied. “Well when you left, that U-Move It truck pulled up. It sounds like your professor wants her to move out, and she is accusing him of making her drop something breakable. I heard him say he didn’t do it and that he wasn’t paying for nothing. He must own the condo and wants her out, but she is giving him a hard time about it.”
“Wow, you got all that in the little time I was gone?” TC asked.
“Ah, yeah, you actually took your time coming back, and I heard you shut the bathroom door. Plus, you know how fast and nosy El is. She ran downstairs to pretend to go to the car to get something while eavesdropping. Also El told me that she heard Mr. Sexy say something about a restraining order and an eviction notice. But he noticed El in her car so he could have just said that just in case she was listening, even though she was. After that he got back in his car and drove off as usual. The lady then started yelling at the driver of the U-Move It truck to get out and help her move her stuff,” Dee finished.
“You two are a mess, and you talk about me overreacting. Look at you two playing Detectives Cagney and Lacey.”
“Look, girly, in our line of work, we deal with the facts. Plus, did anything else happen between you and Pretty Boy Floyd that we should know about?” Dee grilled.
“No, why do you ask?” TC answered nervously.
El eyed her as if she didn’t belief it. “We were just wondering.”
“You know what? I don’t care about any of this. You two can stay out here be nosy all you want. I’m going to finish my food and wine. I’m about to turn on the lights, so you better come in here before someone notices,” TC replied sternly.
Dee and El hurried back to the coffee table.
“Man, somebody sure is moody all of a sudden,” Dee muttered under her breath.
“Shall we continue?” TC asked with a scolding look toward Dee and El.
“By all means,” they replied laughing.
“I find nothing funny at all. Anyway! I think we have an awesome plan here,” TC muttered.
Chapter Five
Let It Burn – (clubbing, need to release some stress)
A sudden blast of loud music throughout the entire condo will wake them. I’ll just make sure everything is vibrating—walls, floors, dishes, and furniture. El and Dee come running from the bedrooms to the living room. Look at El with that baseball bat in hand, and Dee with a golf club in hers. When they entered the living room, they found TC dressed in new clothes and fancy high heels trying to dance.
“Hey, ladies, come join me. I am trying to get my groove on. Today is the start of my spring break, and I am taking full advantage. I am going to release all this stress and just let it burn, burn, baby burn,” TC declared.
El went to the stereo to turn it off. “Not at six in the morning, TC. What is going on with you? It’s like you’re off your game. Girl, you need to get laid. I am calling Stephen and setting you up for a date.”
TC responded, “No, you are not setting me up on a date for sex. Why is the answer to all your problems sex? I don’t see that reasoning, and I don’t need to have Seth.”
“What did you say? Did you say you don’t need Seth? OMG, OMG, girl, you have the hots for him, don’t you? I knew it. I told you that name is sexy, and I bet he is too. I want to see him.”
Dee started screaming, “Oh no, oh no!”
TC jumped on both of them grabbing their mouths. “Shut up. I can’t stand that man, and I don’t want to hear his name. El, you keep trying to put all those horny thoughts in my head. It’s your fault. Shut up. Shut up. I want to plan for a fun break. I want to relieve all this stress without having sex with some strange unknown man who wants my body. Do you two think you can help me with this task, or do I need to find new family and friends?”
They both answered, “Alright, just get off of us.”
“Dang, girl, you’re strong for a little thing.”
“Ok, ok, what’s the plan?” TC asked.
El yawned. “Well you get a note pad, the map, and coffee and go on and get started and call us in an hour. Girlfriend, we need a little more shut-eye, and then call us. Ok?”
“Ok, fine. See you in an hour.”
* * * *
“So what club are we hitting tonight, and whose car are we riding in?” TC asked excitedly, as they stood before the elevator. The hall was filled with various perfumes worn by TC, El, and Dee. Two men, tall in statue with defined muscles protruding everywhere, were already on the elevator when the doors parted.
El, entered first with long wavy blonde highlights in her tracks. A soft breeze from the hall blew, swaying her hair, while complimenting the fitted mini dress with slits on the sides of her hips. TC figured there was no space left to the imagination, because her sister loved to express her thick sculptured body through her revealing clothes. El was not ashamed, and her boldness did not allow any good looking man to be ashamed of his either. TC admired El for that.
El greeted the two men as she entered the elevator. “Well hello, sexy.”
“Hello, El babe!” they responded, each with a soft kiss to her cheek.
TC glanced at Dee. She must be feeling just as fly with her hair cut close in afro-centric style and a precise shapeup. She wore large silver hoop earrings, an all black sleek halter top with black skinny jeans, and a pair of silver stilettos that TC would borrow another time when she had the chance.
TC posed as she waited for her turn to board the elevat
or. She’d allowed her locks to hang long and straight and wore designer red earrings, black jeggins, a zebra print blouse with a red belt and matching stilettos heels.
“Hey, Mic and Nic, what’s up?” Dee asked. Mic and Nic were the twins that lived a floor up from them, both professional models.
“How’s it going, ladies?” the guys responded as they turned and stepped off the elevator toward Dee and TC to escort them on.
“I must say you ladies are looking hot tonight. We don’t mind rendering our services if you all need dates tonight,” Nic suggested.
“And I must add that everything is fitting so tight and just right on all the curves,” Mic added. “Look at TC. Girl, who knew you were holding back like that.”
“Don’t start it, Mic.” She held a fist up to his face while flipping the bird to send him a warning. In a split second TC’s finger was sliding out of Mic’s mouth. “You nasty…” The elevator bell rang before she could finish her sentence. “Keep my fingers out your mouth.”
Everyone burst into laughter, including TC.
“Come on, girl, you know his horny ass is just messing with you.” Dee pulled TC along.
TC flipped her finger again at Mic as she looked behind her while walking away. She could hear the twins laughing as they approached more women that appeared too ready to head back to the bedroom.
“Those twins piss me off sometimes, especially that Mic,” TC complained.
“Well you know Mic wants you. While we were messing around, all he could talk about is TC. TC this and TC that. I had to tell him to shut up,” El replied. “Not just that, but why in the world would he think you would want him if he is sleeping with me? I mean what woman would want scraps?”
“I know, right?” TC responded. “Except the skanks they meet up with.”
They all burst out laughing. TC and Dee jumped in El’s car. “I guess I’m the driver tonight. I see how it is. So what you’re saying is that I can’t get wasted, but you two can, right?”
“No problem, I’ll be the driver. You bunch of farts!” El stated. TC and Dee giggled as they drove off.
After finally arriving at the club, TC scanned the room in awe. “Ok, ok, let’s order our drinks and… oh my god, I can’t believe we’re at Play L, one of the hottest clubs in Tampa. See this is why I love Florida. It’s off the hook here. The location, the music, and all it’s amenities are just banging. I also heard that people from all walks of life come here. I mean from a well-known movie star to a no name, or a nobody. The music is nice, the crowd is nice—”
“So order some nice drinks, why don’t you?” Dee interrupted.
“Yeah, for real, right!” El added.
TC chuckled a little. “Ok, ladies, I’m just so hyped about tonight. So we’re set and sure about where we’re going, right? I’m glad we chose Rio.”
Dee asked laughingly, “Did you have a drink before we left? You’re acting as if you’re a little tipsy already. You’re shaking your shoulders like you’re some Chiquita girl dancing.”
El jumped up as some random guy approached her. Before TC knew it, El was dancing freakily all over the guy.
Dee shook her head and grinned. “Well, TC, if you want you can stay here and dance at the table by yourself while you sip forever on your drink, or you can follow my lead. If you can’t beat them than join them.”
“No, Dee, wait!” TC called out softly. Her sister didn’t stop. Ok, TC, you’re going to drink this Dirty Martini, and you’re going to go out on that dance floor and let it burn.
TC worked her way to the dance floor. A little while later, she couldn’t believe the crowd around her. In a panic, she approached her sisters, “Hey, Dee and El, can you help me out?” TC yelled while still dancing. “I have so many men I don’t know what to do with them all.”
“I’m coming, girl,” El replied. “Let me show you how to work it.” El danced her way toward TC.
TC stopped dancing and stood in the middle of the floor. “El, Dee,” TC called out as she grabbed her sisters’ hands. TC all but dragged them through the crowd and back to their table.
“What? What’s wrong, girl?” Dee asked concerned.
TC paused a minute to catch her breath. “I thought someone was watching me.”
“Hell, girl, all these people in here?” El rolled her eyes. “Everybody was watching you get your freak on. I was looking too. For once you were letting your hair down, and you can dance.”
“Everything is ok, TC,” Dee added. “We are ok, and so are you. Let’s take a break and collect ourselves. How about that?”
TC looked over her shoulder to take in the crowd. “I thought I saw a tall man watching me from the shadows over there.” She pointed her chin in the general direction.
“I’ll have one of my buddies check it out,” Dee responded as she left the table.
“It’s probably the drink you had. You don’t really drink anything except one hundred percent cranberry juice anyway. So your drink, the loud music, and all that stress you’ve been building might have been too much for you and made you think you saw something,” El replied.
Dee returned a few minutes later. “The bouncer said there was no one in that area he doesn’t or recognize. He said he can give an account for everyone here. So we’re good, TC. All is good. Calm down, girl! You are here with your sisters, and we got your back.”
TC sighed in relief. “Yeah, well let’s leave now and go get something to eat.”
“You know this has been a wild night for me, and I can think better when I eat seafood,” Dee said. “Did y’all see that old man trying to talk to me? He kept saying, ‘can I get those digits?’ I said, no way, pops. I don’t have time to take somebody’s grandfather. You would have thought I was on skates the way I was dancing away from him.”
“Girl, please, I thought a fight was about to break out because some guy was in my face while his woman was in the bathroom. I told her, girl, if he can’t be content with you, then he is not good enough for me.” El started laughing. “This night was crazy, and for the first time I think TC got a little tipsy.”
TC Interrupted while laughing, “No, I did not. And guess what, I’m not messing with those Martinis anymore either.”
“Yeah, girl, because I saw you dancing. I thought you were going to let that man do it to you on the dance floor. He was getting his feel on too. He was all over your booty,” Dee added.
“What? For-real?” TC asked panicky.
“No. I was just joking. Down, girl!” Dee patted TC’s shoulder. “Ok, so we’re going to Rio. Do we concur?”
They all shouted unanimously, “Rio, here we come!”
Chapter Six
Hello, Rio
“Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. Welcome to TAM American Airlines. Please take your seats. The time is approximately 5:45 pm, and in about ten minutes you will be given all the safety precautions of an event of an emergency.”
“Girls, this is it! Every time I get on a plane and hear that sexy voice of the captain I just melt all over. The sound of his voice just gives me an orgasm. I don’t care what he looks like. I just want him to keep talking to me over that intercom,” El exclaimed.
Dee threw up her hands. “Ok, she done lost her mind. We’re going to have to slap her with the monkey stick. Plus, I suspected you were crazy, but now I know. You are just right nasty. Just nasty I tell you.”
TC burst into laughter. “No, both of you are crazy. Seriously, this is awesome. I just can’t believe we are finally on our way to Rio de Janeiro! You know what they say. It’s the island of love.”
“Yes, there’s nothing but fine men there. I’m not going to know how to act in Rio!” El responded.
Dee pulled El toward her to whisper in her ear. “Can you calm yourself, Ms. Thing? You are getting that older man beside you all revved up. Look at him. He’s all smiles. Plus, is that a bulge in his pants? Oh no he won’t. He’s getting a hard-on while he’s looking at us,” Dee exclaimed.
El turned to the man beside her. “Excuse me, what’s your name, sir? I was thinking since we’re going to be on this plane for nine hours we might as well become acquainted. Don’t you agree? Besides my name is Laurie El, but you can call me El.”
“Well, the pleasure is definitely is all mine. Pleased to meet you. My name is Rafael. I’m from Brazil, and I’m on my way home. I was on vacation in Florida. I am a cardiologist. I’m forty, and I’m not an old man I assure you. I can be your guide when we get to Rio, if you like.”
“Yes, doctor, you know what’s best. Do you offer on the spot check-ups?” El inquired.
“I certainly do. In fact, I don’t usually do this, but for you, El, I can offer a lot more. If you can meet me when we get off the plane I can show you exactly what I’m talking about.”
“Look, girls, real quick let me give you the low-down. I would like to go get me a quickie before the plane takes off. We all know that’s just totally impossible, so I’m going to meet with him after we get settled in Rio. His name is Rafael, he’s a cardiologist from Brazil, and he’s not old and can handle his business. So I’m concentrating on getting to know Rafael a little more. We’re making plans and going over some of the activities we want to perform during our first encounter. So don’t be all salty because you don’t have my attention.”
TC interrupted, “You just met the doctor. Why are you making plans to sleep with him already?”
“Girl, did you hear that deep sexy voice, or see those grey eyes? This is a DTD moment, and I can’t perform the DTD moment because I am stuck on this damn plane. At least for now I can talk about it as well as plan for it. Now let me go. Time is wasting. Did you not see the bulge? I can just imagine the size of that rocket. Wasn’t it you that noticed it? Got to go, time is valuable!”
While El turned away, TC thought she saw a tall gentleman near the cockpit of the plane behind the curtain. She could not get a good look from her seat. All she could see was coal black curly hair. She was not about to make a scene or bring attention to herself if it was Professor Howard.
