Volcan's Fire (Guardians of The Elements #1)
Page 8
When Coreena woke again, the smell of freshly ground coffee was even more intense than the last time. She threw open her eyes and looked into Volcan’s smiling face. He stood before her bed with a mug of seductively aromatic coffee in his hand.
“Good morning, princess. Or should I say: good afternoon?”
Coreena sat up in shock and looked at the digital clock on her radio. It was already later than two o’clock. But even that was not the most unsettling thing – the date on the clock was what had really thrown her – it was not Saturday any more, but Sunday! She had slept through an entire day!
“Have I slept for that long? A whole day?”
Volcan sat down next to her on the bed and put the coffee into her hand.
“Take a sip first. I fear that making love with a fire warrior takes it out on one’s energy,” he said, smiling.
Coreena immediately felt hot at the thought of their love play. She had no idea how many times they had made love before she fell asleep with exhaustion. He had managed to get her to forget about everything else. Her loud screams of desire had resounded through the apartment and she hoped, with embarrassment, that none of her neighbours had been at home. How could she ever look anyone in this building in the eye again?
“Does it embarrass you?” asked Volcan, laughing quietly. “I found it very arousing the way you begged me for mercy.”
Coreena blushed deeply and avoided his look. She could, unfortunately, remember that all too well. He had teased her for ages with his caresses until she could no longer stand it and had actually begged him to relieve her. And relief she had got. The orgasm had shaken her from head to toe, and she thought she could still feel the tremors.
“It’s the weekend,” said Volcan gently. “You haven’t missed anything important and we still have the whole evening before us. And the night.”
He reached out and gently brushed his hand across her cheek, then down her neck, as far as the cover that she was holding in front of her breasts. Her heart pounding, she let him take away the cover and look at her bare breasts. He took her coffee mug and put it on the bedside table, then he took hold of her breast, whilst moving his face closer and closer to hers. She raised a hand and stroked his short hair. In milliseconds he had transformed and her hand was now stroking the long hair of his real form.
“Do you prefer that?” he murmured.
“Yes,” she whispered and pulled his head closer to her. She brushed the tip of her tongue over his lips whilst he remained passive.
When she moved her hand down his body and held him, he groaned quietly and she smiled. She played with him, and although he was clearly aroused and trembled with longing, he still remained passive.
“Do you like that?” she asked, teasing, as another groan left his lips.
“You’re playing with fire, princess,” he groaned, and she giggled.
“I know,” she breathed onto his lips, and she slid down him until she could reach him with her mouth.
Volcan gasped as she put the tip of her tongue where her hands had been working. First she kissed him with caution, then she became braver.
“Are you sure you know what you’re doing there?” he said, warning her.
“Does it not please my lord and master?” she asked, laughing quietly.
“Too much, princess. Too much!” he groaned. “You may get more than you can deal with.”
“Let me worry about that,” she said, and closed her lips over him.
Volcan lay on the bed with his eyes closed and stroked Coreena’s back absent mindedly. She lay in his arms, one leg and one arm wrapped around him, her head on his chest. Her regular breathing told him that she was sleeping. After he had come into her mouth, he had taken revenge on her and made her scream again. He smiled. His princess was a damned passionate creature. Her hunger did not take second place to his on any level. Her love moved him deeply. He had not known that it would be like this. Since becoming an adult he had made love to a lot of women – of his own kind and humans. But none of them had managed to captivate him in such a way and bring out in him such a deep feeling of tenderness. He was looking forward to finally taking her home to Ignigena. They would spend many years there together. A guardian lived on average for about a thousand years. He was now two hundred and twenty. As soon as the marriage had taken place Coreena would be able to live as long as him. Their son would take his position at some point, just as he was now taking his father’s position. Currently he was only a prince and a guardian. He would only become king through marriage to his chosen one.
Coreena moved in his arms and sighed quietly.
“Have I slept through everything again?” she murmured sleepily, without opening her eyes.
He laughed quietly.
“Not for long, my darling. Only for half an hour.”
She snuggled into him and sighed again whilst her fingers lazily circled his nipple.
“I don’t know how I’m going to go to work tomorrow,” she sighed. “I’m definitely not going to be able to concentrate on anything, if I keep on thinking about you doing…”
“What? Me doing what?” he asked huskily, when she did not continue.
“Outrageous things. Things that make me forget everything and that switch off my brain. When I’m lying in your arms, my mind doesn’t seem to exist any more.”
“That’s exactly what it’s all about – switching off your brain and not thinking, just feeling. What’s wrong with that?”
“Nothing. Only that I also have a life outside bed.”
“Soon you’ll be leaving all that behind you anyway – when you become my queen.”
“I still can’t imagine that,” said Coreena. “I mean, it’s not that I don’t want to spend my life with you. But I can’t imagine no longer living in this world. The thought is somehow… I don’t know.”
“When you were a little girl you liked my world.”
“But I don’t remember it.”
“Should I refresh your memory?” murmured Volcan. “I know a place there that I’ve always wanted to take you to.”
“You mean you want to go with me to… to your…”
“To Ignigena, yes.”
With one movement Volcan pulled her to him, and before she could protest they were lying in grass. The sound of splashing water penetrated Coreena’s consciousness and the outraged cry that she wanted to utter remained unheard. They had just been in her apartment, and now? In amazement she looked down at Volcan, who was grinning at her mischievously, then she looked around.
“I don’t believe it,” she murmured, and sat up.
They were lying in a small clearing. Around them was a forest and behind her a wooded mountain from which a waterfall was pouring down into a pool that fed a small river. Brightly coloured birds flew back and forth between the trees, and she saw a family of rabbits at the edge of the clearing. The whole scene was one of fairytale tranquillity.
“Would you like to swim?” asked Volcan cheerfully.
“Yes,” she said immediately.
“Come on then. Whoever’s first into the water...!” he challenged.
Of course he was far too quick for her and he surfaced, snorting, as she jumped in. His long hair stuck damply to his head and his pointed ears showed clearly.
“I always thought that it was only elves that had pointed ears,” she said, and snuggled into his arms. She could not touch the bottom, but Volcan seemed to have no trouble holding them both above the water.
“They do, too,” he answered. “Elves, water nymphs and we guardians have pointed ears.”
“So elves really do exist? And water nymphs?”
“Yes. They also existed in your world in ancient times. But they need pure nature and unfortunately they can’t find that any more in the human world. That’s why they’ve all disappeared from your world.”
“I know, we humans have done awful things.” She looked around wistfully. “It is so incredibly beautiful here.”
“It’ll
soon be your home. We can come here as often as you wish.”
“I still can’t believe that all this is happening to me. Why me? What is so special about me?”
“You’re everything that I could dream of. And still more. You are everything that my people needs. Your heart is full of goodness and love. You’re breathtakingly beautiful and you make me lose my mind.”
“Do I?” she whispered, and snuggled further into him.
She could feel his erection pushing against her belly, and her pussy began to tingle with expectation.
“I’ve always wanted to make love to you here. Here in the water,” he murmured, and he slid his hands down her body.
The warm water felt pleasant against her skin and she laid her head back, the gentle waves lapping around her. Volcan stroked her breasts. Stimulating air bubbles accompanied his caresses and she groaned in ecstasy. He circled her navel and slipped lower, making his way through the short hair to her clitoris. She convulsed as he gently rubbed her.
“Please,” she whispered hoarsely.
“Put your legs round me,” he requested huskily.
Slowly he entered her, and his hands held her hips. Coreena lay back on the surface of the water, without going under the water. Then she realised that she was being held by delicate hands. She opened her eyes and looked, astonished and embarrassed, into the lovely faces of two water nymphs. One held her head in her hands and the other had her hands under Coreena’s upper body and held it above the water.
“But …,” she began uncertainly. She felt uncomfortable having sex in the presence of these women, or nymphs.
“Relax. Close your eyes and enjoy,” whispered Volcan. “Let yourself fall.”
Still somewhat uneasy, she closed her eyes. She had to admit that it was pleasant lying in the warm water. Volcan’s movements inside her were slow and extremely sensual. The gentle swaying movement of the water intensified the exotic sensation. Coreena felt as if she were flowing, as if she were at one with the water. The hands of the water nymphs tenderly stroked her breasts like butterfly wings and she relaxed into the skilful caressing. She groaned quietly as she suddenly felt soft lips on her face. Volcan’s thrusting became stronger, quicker. He put his hand on her Venus mound and stoked her pearl with his thumb.
Pleasure, more exquisite and purer than she had ever experienced, made her quake and writhe. Volcan’s thrusts came quicker and harder so that the water splashed and moved over her in waves. When soft lips closed around her nipples and gently began to suck, she cried out loud in ecstasy. The orgasmic shudders that caused her whole body to quake, did not seem to be stopping. She only vaguely registered Volcan coming into her with a throaty groan.
Weak, she lay in the arms of the nymphs, her eyes still closed. She felt Volcan pull her slowly to him, embracing her in his arms. His heartbeat pounded against her chest.
“Princess,” he murmured into her ear. “I’ll never get enough of you.”
“I should hope not,” she answered breathlessly.
*
“Would you like to take a little ride?” asked Volcan later, when they were lying naked in a meadow.
“You mean on a horse?” asked Coreena. “Are there any here?”
Volcan whistled, and a huge, black, winged horse rushed out of the forest and galloped onto the meadow. It came to an abrupt halt in front of them and threw its head up, neighing exuberantly. Its long mane was slightly curled and its eyes sparkled like two diamonds. Coreena had never seen anything more beautiful.
“May I introduce Ateo? We rode on him together when you were a little girl.”
“I don’t remember,” said Coreena quietly. “It’s not really fair that I don’t remember any of that, whereas you know everything about me.”
“You’ll remember everything once the ceremony has been performed,” Volcan consoled her. “So, what about this ride?”
“We’re naked,” Coreena pointed out.
One sweep of his hand and she was dressed in soft suede trousers and a blue tunic. Volcan was wearing similar trousers – his upper body remained unclothed. He was grinning provocatively and his eyes sparkled mischievously.
Coreena looked down at herself, then gave him a beaming smile.
“OK! Let’s go,” she said, full of adventurousness.
He helped her onto the back of the enormous horse and swung up behind her. Ateo stepped delicately and threw his head up, then he galloped away and lifted from the ground. Coreena grasped the thick mane in shock and clung on tightly.
“We’re flying? I… I thought…”
Volcan laughed quietly. “As a child you weren’t such a wimp,” he teased.
She stiffened up.
“I’m not a wimp!” she protested, hurt. “I was just a bit shocked, because I didn’t know that was going to happen.”
Volcan put his arms around her and pulled her to his body.
“Relax and enjoy the view of your kingdom.”
Coreena actually did relax as soon as she felt his arms around her. She knew that she would always be safe in his arms. She dared to look down at the fairy tale world below them. The forest that they were flying over stretched over such a large area that one would probably never find ones way out if one got lost. It seemed an eternity before Coreena could make out the end of the forest in the distance.
“Where are we flying to?” she asked.
“To visit a friend. It’s a surprise.” said Volcan secretively.
“Is he a guardian, too?” she asked.
“Naughty girl! I said it was a surprise,” he murmured into her ear.
His tongue tickled her behind her ear and she giggled. She could feel his erection pressing against her from behind. She was tingling all over and she became aware of her nipples pushing against the silky material of her tunic.
“If anyone’s being naughty here, then it’s you,” she groaned, as he put one hand over one of her breasts and the other between her thighs, clasping her leather-clad pussy.
Suddenly it became cool on her legs and her pussy. Volcan had made her trousers disappear.
“Hey!” she protested. “”You can’t just…”
“Why not?” he murmured, laughing quietly. Lean forward and hold on to Ateo’s neck.”
Coreena wanted to protest, but her body desperately longed for him. The thought of feeling him inside her made her protestation melt and she obeyed. Volcan held onto her hips and pulled her so far onto his lap that he could enter her. She gasped for air and groaned. Below them the world flew by and the withers of the winged horse rubbed Coreena’s pearl with each thrust that Volcan performed. Her blood roared in her ears and she felt her being shattered into a thousand pieces as the passion reached its climax and her scream was carried away by the wind. A deep groaning signalled that Volcan had climaxed.
Coreena was not really aware of the rest of the flight. She had leant against Volcan’s chest and closed her eyes. The gentle post-coital tremors made her gently shudder now and again. With Volcan she was discovering a totally new sexuality. Previously she would never have even dreamt of such passion. When she slept with him he did not only possess her pussy – he fulfilled her from head to foot and right into the innermost part of her soul. And it did not matter whether she was sleeping with the human Volcan, the guardian or the warrior. His demands were clear. She belonged to him. He would never let her go. But she also knew that he was giving all of himself to her. She had the exclusive rights to his body, his heart and his soul. She would never have thought that such a strong bond was possible and she was certain that it would never change for as long as they lived.
“We’re nearly there,” said Volcan, and she opened her eyes. Fields and meadows stretched out below them. A stream meandered across the landscape and then she saw the village at the edge of a wood that stretched along the bottom of a mountain.
“Don’t you think we should put something on?” Coreena pointed out, and as she looked down at herself she saw that she was already dr
essed.
Volcan laughed quietly.
“You and your damned tricks,” she scolded, but there was laughter in her voice.
He kissed her on the neck and she sighed blissfully.
Chapter 11
The village was called Beresgede and was inhabited by elves. They were friendly people, even though Coreena, at first, had trouble looking directly into their strange eyes. Their pupils were golden instead of black, which made their eyes seem hypnotic. As she soon realised, the friend that they were visiting, was not one of the villagers. They were served with a strong herbal tea and sweet pastries, then they said goodbye and mounted Ateo’s back again.
“Why did we come here, as your friend doesn’t live here?” asked Coreena.
“Because the only way to his place runs behind this village.”
This time they stayed on the path, because their destination could not be reached by air. The path led them into the forest. It was a dense forest with big, old trees that shaded most of the sunlight. Coreena would definitely never have entered the forest without Volcan’s protection. It was eerie, dark and cold – and yet also had a majestic beauty. Some of the enormous trees were so thick that not even ten men could have stretched their arms right around the trunk.
After what felt like an eternity they came to a small clearing and Volcan brought Ateo to a halt in the middle of it.
Coreena looked around.
“Here? But there’s no one here!”
“Wait!” said Volcan.
Coreena wondered where the friend must live, as she could only see trees around her – in a tree house perhaps? Sceptically she scrutinised the trees around her, but could not see anything.
“Ante portam sto!” called Volcan, and a gate appeared before them and opened.
Coreena had uttered a cry of astonishment and was now looking in complete amazement at the world that extended beyond the gate, that was completely different to the one around her.
“What …?”
“This is the kingdom of Amarantus,” explained Volcan, and kicked Ateo in the flanks.
They galloped through the gate and it closed behind them. Then it disappeared and they were now in a completely different world.
