  “That’s the best shot my guy could get.”

  His door swung open, and his mate waited for him, her eyes aglow with lust. “Can’t wait.”

  He nodded, standing up, his body immediately going into alert. Sydney’s pleasure enticed him, made his head muddled to all other thoughts and ideas. As the Moon had ordained it.

  “There are a ton of heated females here, Barrett. You’d be a real get for some of them with Alpha fantasies.”

  Barrett shook his head. “Much as I admire what you have going on here, I’m going to take myself to Seattle. Figure out how best I can serve the Moon.”

  “Then you’ll excuse me.”

  He was the Alpha of San Francisco, with a job from the Moon, and a mate to pleasure. He’d come from the dead to do all three things. Never had a male been so Moon-blessed.
