Inanna ate her cake, and I put my thoughts in order. When she was done, she asked, “Ready?”

  “Yes,” I told her.

“Good, let’s get them back in here,” she said, and gave my hand a squeeze. “I knew you were special. All this time.”

  The Becoming

Within the next two hundred years, mankind would reshape itself. Perhaps we would have flying cars, perhaps laser guns, but we would certainly be faced with decisions. These decisions would define us as a species. Our politics were becoming global. Our connections to each other were far greater than any time period before. Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Intelligence, Robotic Expertise were all realities. In creating better versions of these, other areas were being enhanced in multiple ways. Our understanding of language, for example, had expanded beyond any predicted scope in searching for ways for AI programs to understand us, and communicate with us.

Trade was becoming more global. This meant that trade agreements would be inciting political fears. Trade has always affected politics. Political knee jerk responses were often declarations of war, historically. But that wasn’t the way to go. We needed better responses, responses not based on fear, but based on life. In order for that to happen, people needed to have faith, and belief not just in god but in each other. And they needed to feel that something was coming, they needed wonder and amazement in their eyes. These were the only antidotes to fear’s venom. The only cure for bigotry. The only ointment for hate.

These were the ideas I presented to the five of them. Having a good education in current affairs and world news, I had plenty of examples for them on these points. I made my case, and told them that the Inanna for this period had to be someone ready to deal with all of this, and more. Whether it was me or not, didn’t matter. Shit was hitting the fan.

“To deal with this, to be the Inanna, I need all of you. Or you need to live without one for this period. While before you might have been able to go to war and choose one through might, the winner would be without a means of connection to Gaia. With no conduit to Gaia’s power the war would be pointless. You’ll fight for nothing. And another Inanna will not be born for at least two centuries.”

Inanna took a sip of her wine. “Without an Inanna, if you chose war and scorch the earth and all of her children, she might simply reject you completely.” She shrugged, “Just saying.”

  Quinn laughed.

  The others didn’t.

Ore finally spoke, “This wasn’t the agreement.”

I willed my eyes to become steel. “What I experienced wasn’t just suiters and proposals either. No one said anything about being shown the universe from the dark side of the moon, or flying across the world on a dragon, or that you were all actual dragons, or the power and influence you really had at the level you do — or any of this other shit. So fuck off on your agreement. I fell in love. Not just with you, Ore. But with Kane and Raw and Quinn and Slate.”

Ore’s eyes widened. It was apparent then that he wasn’t use to being talked to in that manner. It was likely a shock greater than any other for a moment.

“I agree,” said Raw, his eyes fixed on mine. Within them, I saw pride and my heart filled even more. “There will be plenty of war either way. We’ll either be helping or the problem.”

Quinn agreed. “We start boiling the oceans and scorching the land, Gaia’s going to kick us out for sure. She’s not the fearful young goddess we first met any longer. She’s been influenced by Inanna for far too long. She’s matured and sure of herself now.”

Kane nodded. “My love,” is all he said, and those two words carried with them more words and more meaning than his or any voice could ever convey.

Slate adjusted himself in his chair. “I’m alright with it, but not for any high road reasons. I’m just glad I get to have her again.”

Ore’s eyes widened even further and the rest of them laughed.

Not all your memories belong to you

After dinner, Inanna and I went out onto a balcony together -- one I wasn’t aware of - and here I came to understand the ‘out of time’ concept of her house. It was no house at all but the top of a temple, looking down on an ancient city; ancient in form and activity, but brand new in this reality. Ox carts hauled goods, and the city walls were shining. It was here that she left me. She left as a goddess should. As I watched she smiled, and then she glowed.

She looked up into the heavens, and I could see the sky part, as she changed into gold, then into a shower of golden petals which lifted up into the sky. Then the sky closed again, and I was alone for a moment, unprepared for what just occurred, and unsure what to do next. I felt mortal, and afraid.

When her memories began to form in my mind, I walked with her through two hundred years of being Inanna. I watched her leave this balcony, alone, afraid and then become Inanna.

The dragons were waiting for her on the other side of the door. They knelt, and then rose, and she went to her throne and spoke to Gaia, the Earth Mother, who she was the avatar for now. It was through her and her chosen dragon that Gaia and Kur were together in this world; in the world of physical reality.

Neither of them was able to manifest in full on this plane of existence without tearing the fabric of space and time.

From that point the days flowed by, and I experienced each of them, learning things I never dreamed of, until her last moment when she looked at me and smiled. She was so happy – and had such an amazing life. Then the Inanna before her presented her life, and then the one before her, and the one before her.

Back through the ages, down through history and time, all of their experiences flooded through me, without filling me or causing any pain -- through joys and heartaches I lived through each of them.

Some of them withstood ages where ignorance and terror ruled so much of the world they cried for weeks on end. Some of them lived through ages of discovery and art so touching they too cried for completely different emotions.

Back through time I went, living again and again and again, until I came face to face with Inanna, the Goddess.

“So, you are here at last,” she said to me, as she knelt and touched a plant I didn’t recognize in what looked like a vegetable garden. It bloomed at her touch and its leaves shimmered with deep green.

“Yes,” I said, not knowing what else to say.

All of the others were like watching a movie in what we might call virtual reality, except with taste and touch and scent. Here, I felt her, the reality of her.

“You’ve chosen all five of them,” she said, standing up and facing me.

“Yes,” I answered, again not knowing what else to say. Her eyes pinned me like a butterfly to a display board.

“That’s quite a challenge,” she smirked. “I hope you are up to it. Each on his own is demanding. All five? That’s just asking for lessons in endurance. Even for a goddess.”

I bit my lip. The reality of day to day life from this point forward as the wife and woman of five vigorous demanding men – all of which I now had many life times of experience with one at a time …

Inanna smiled at me, as if seeing these thoughts and visions flash through my mind. “Yes,” she said. “Oh yes. Now you’re understanding. Unfortunately, experience is that thing you get ten seconds after you needed it. But here you are. And you are here.”

I blinked at this statement, but before I could respond or move, she rested her forehead against mine, and power unlike anything I had ever experienced hit me. My heart felt as if it were going to burst. Adrenaline rushed through my blood. My eyes opened wide, and rolled up and back. I convulsed, jolted, orgasmed, and shook with terror.

My skin caught fire and burned away, then reformed. Every muscle in my body became new, and vibrant with power. I felt her energy course through me like an electric field that would have stunned Tesla.

Light. Brilliant light. Then she was gone, and I was by myself on the balcony looking down from my temple, on my city. I watched the people
for a time, feeling good about their quality of life, and where they were going.

I was not alone. I was not afraid.

  ***

If you ever have the opportunity, or the means, to experience five vigorous and beautiful men, I highly recommend the moment. Kane and Slate caught me up first. They were in high spirits and laughing for a time, and then they became extremely focused on me and my body. We did make it to my bedroom, though it was close. If I had stumbled in the hallway, I would have been taken in front of the maids, and that might have been a little much for them to endure. My endurance was certainly tested, even for a goddess.

It was a fresh experience – and I don’t mean the men. Don’t get me wrong, they were fabulous.

However, as it was told to me, about this physical dimension, if it doesn’t happen here, it hasn’t happened. I had in me now, over five thousand years of sex memories. Experiences I had never even thought of before. Never in my wildest of fantasies had I done what I now had in my memories. Yet, these were memories of spirits. Lifetimes long past. So, while I now understood and knew how to swallow a hard cock deep into my throat, when Slate pushed himself past my normal resistance so that his length was all the way in – it was a new experience for me. Now it had happened. Now it was real. As was Kane’s cock pushing into my ass. Both of them were new, and now real – and so much better than my memories. My orgasm shook me and pushed both of them into climax.

After, I stepped into my shower, a multi-showerhead design which again I had been in many decades before in my memories, was now real. When Raw joined me, I remembered he loved it in here with me, but until he lifted me up and pressed my back against the wall, and I wrapped my legs around his waist and held onto his neck while he fucked me, it wasn’t real. Now it was. Oh god was it real.

What had never happened before was coming out of the shower after Raw had released his energy in me and seeing Quinn – and feeling the emotions I felt.

Grabbing him by his pony tail and pulling him from the breakfast he had laid out for me, I told him, “You escaped me once. It’s not happening this time.”

Tossing him on the bed and making quick work of getting his pants off him, I mounted his thick cock and rode him until his eyes were wide and his voice thick with climax.

Quinn remained passed out on the bed while Ore and I ate played like we did before in the bed next to him. We got loud together, but he never woke up. Poor thing.

My memories were warm and comforting – my life was hot and full of new experiences.
