“Thank you, Sir.”
Kendall massaged her clit while swimming in his Egyptian-blue gaze. God, he was handsome and sexy. Shyness and lust mingled while she stayed trapped in his stare and touched herself. When she started to shake, she made herself keep her eyes open.
“Good,” he murmured with a lusty smile.
The orgasm was incredible. The delayed climax and his praise catapulted her pleasure higher. It was so sharp it ripped her control to pieces. She’d never felt so vulnerable holding the stare of a man she’d never slept with while coming hard right in front of him. She’d come while kissing him, but staring into his beautiful eyes like this while finishing left her feeling even more defenseless.
“That was beautiful.” He caressed her cheek. “I’m proud of you.”
“Thank you, Sir.” Since her orgasm was done, she let her gaze slip from his, but he tugged her face up lightly to keep her eyes pinned to his.
“I have a swing in my bedroom. I’m gonna take you in there and fuck you in it.”
Her knees nearly gave out. Air rushed from her lungs, and her abs clenched on a deep, abiding ache.
“Do you want me to do that to you?”
“Yes, Sir.”
“You want me?”
“Yes, Sir, very badly.”
He brushed a kiss on her lips and her eyes closed in bliss.
“Let’s go,” he whispered into her ear.
She shivered and then followed him when he led her by the hand down the hall.
His bedroom was large and masculine in lots of black and white with grayish shades of blue. The mahogany furniture was stunning with the color scheme. The bed was huge, but the black sex swing hanging from hooks in the ceiling had her attention at the moment.
“Sweat doesn’t offend you, does it?” he asked.
“On the swing?”
“No, on me.”
Finding boldness, she dragged her tongue up his neck, tasting salt and male virility. “No, Sir. I like it.”
A thunderous grunt rumbled in his chest and he yanked her into a passionate kiss. They pawed at each other, tearing at the other person’s clothes until both were naked. He hoisted her up into the swing, securing her arms in the sleeves and putting her legs in the proper holders so she was spread wide open.
Her jaw dropped when she saw every mouthwatering inch of him. He was extremely muscular and hairy all over. His cock was jacked up with lust and enormous. His body and dick seemed as masculine as his attitude and alpha personality.
Something about being naked and secured in a sex swing, spread wide open for a brawny sex god while he trapped her in his stare had her about ready to combust. He sheathed his erection and stood between her legs.
Her vagina was sopping after the two powerful orgasms she’d had, but he was so well-endowed it took a while for him to sink all the way in. Her pussy stretched around him, aching with unbearable need. His labored breaths became a sharp gasp of accomplishment when he shoved forward and plowed deep into her channel. Both cried out at the depth he reached.
He didn’t take a second to rest or start slow. He hammered into her hard and fast. The carnal energy he exuded while pounding her, the lust-stricken faces he made, and the salacious sounds coming from him made her hot and cold. She kept clenching on his throttling shaft, unable to believe how full she felt.
“I think I might come,” she panted, jerking at her binds. “Can I, Sir?”
“Not yet,” he rasped.
“Damn it, Sir.”
He chortled and battered into her faster. Smoking friction suffused from her inner walls and she heard sloshing noises the longer he fucked her.
“Good girl for remembering to ask. Come for me.”
About a second or two after his words, she felt herself starting to climax. A choked out gasp became a ragged scream as her cunt sucked hard onto his generous girth. Her death-grip squeeze on his organ snagged a harsh outcry from him. He rode the waves of her release and then rammed into her fiercely while the ripples of ecstasy still shimmered inside her.
Shane roared his release and threw his head back while coming. Even when giving himself over to abandon, he still exuded power and manliness.
She loved that he’d just taken her all sweaty and with his muscles swollen from the exercise. If she wasn’t locked in this swing, she’d be petting them right now.
His hands closed in over her breasts and he smiled when she moaned. She sucked in a rigid gust of air when he used his thumbs to tease her nipples into an over-stimulated frenzy.
“I love that you’re bound and helpless and I can do whatever I want with you.”
A tormented cry wrung from her throat at the sensations firing in her nubs. Her pussy clutched his inserted cock for relief, stealing a grunt from him.
“I could leave you hanging there, or pull out and go down on you again and again until you beg me to stop. Hell, I could fuck you again or make you suck my dick.”
All of those suggestions sounded heavenly, except for the one about him leaving her hanging literally.
“But, problem is, you got me so worked up I’m even sweatier than before. If we play anymore, I’m gonna get you all hot and dirty. I know you don’t want that, both of us grinding against each other, all hot and nasty, sweating all over each other, fucking until we can barely stand and we’re dripping wet. You don’t want that.”
“I do. I want it.”
He leaned in only inches from her face. “You want me to make you dirty?”
“I do, Sir. I need it.”
He grinned before pecking a kiss on her nose. “All those nasty ideas sound so fucking good I can’t decide. You pick.”
“I want them all, Sir.”
A lusty smile crossed his lips, spreading when he grazed her throbbing clit with the back of his finger and she sucked in a sharp breath.
“You are a dirty girl. I’m gonna have fun training you.”

Charlie rode on horseback through one of the pastures, inspecting the herd of cattle with René.
“Charlie!”
What did the jackass want now?
René galloped toward him and threw himself onto Charlie, knocking him off his horse as a shot rang out. They landed with a hard thud on the ground and the two horses freaked. Both men rolled away from the stamping hooves, and Charlie looked over in time to see someone in a duster and Stetson galloping away on horseback.
Ranch hands hurried over to them and a couple rode after the shooter that was too far ahead of them to catch.
Charlie would have pushed the oaf off of him, but panic shot through him when he noticed the wet red spot on René’s sleeve. The poor bastard had been shot saving him.
“Are you all right?”
René sat up, noticing his arm. “I’m not sure.”
“Get the truck!” Charlie hollered.
He drove his half-brother to the hospital. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the bullet had merely grazed René’s arm and he would still have use of it after it healed.
“So that’s what that feels like,” he said when they were alone together.
“Do you need anything?” Charlie asked.
“I’m all right. I’ve got a nice juice box here.”
“Yeah, you look like a real man with it.”
Both men smirked.
He felt in debt to the man, inadequate in the humbling silence. “That was a crazy thing you did, knocking me off my horse like that and taking a bullet for me.”
René shrugged and then grimaced in pain. “The ornery ones are supposed to live forever. It’s just like you not to play by the rules. Somebody had to keep you in line.”
Charlie forced a weak smile. “If I’d have had to guess who would save my life one day, I never would’ve thought it’d be you.”
“Disappointed?” René slurped his juice from a straw like a little kid.
“No, just surprised. Thanks for that. You’re not a bad guy. Your mother was a who
re.” Charlie’s voice softened. “But you’re worth something.”
“Except for the part about my mama, that was nice of you to say. It took a hell of a lot of years for you to say it.”
“Well, why did it take you so damned long to do anything worthwhile enough to make me like you?”
Both men smiled.
“Brothers?” René asked, holding out his hand.
Charlie approached the bed he lay in and shook his hand. “Half-brothers.”
René tittered.
“Well, we are. Same dad, different mothers. Let’s not get carried away,” Charlie teased.
“I’ll take it.”
He let go of the guy’s hand and walked toward the door. “Family should be here any minute. You’d have cried your eyes out like a pansy if I’d have died, wouldn’t you?”
“For a half-brother? Nah. I’d have stood in the corner and brooded quietly.”
Charlie paused in the doorway. “With tears in your eyes?”
René looked like he suppressed a smile. “Maybe a couple.”

‘Twas the night before Christmas and Aiden was looking hot as hell. Justin had a gift for him, but not in a weird kind of way. His boss would understand, right? Right?
He’d gotten to the club early before his shift started, hoping to catch him alone. He found Aiden in the office, sorting files and cursing under his breath. The man wore a black suit without a tie and the top button on his white shirt was undone beneath it.
Was his chest hairy or bare? Why did he care?
Well, buttons did inspire such questions. No funny business there.
Shutting the door, Justin took a deep breath and tried not to look nervous.
The aromatic musk of Aiden’s cologne filled his lungs with familiar fantasies of skin and sheets. Funny how a fragrance could do that.
“What do you want?”
“I had something for you,” Justin said.
“It’s not mistletoe, is it?”
“Ha-ha!” He trembled with nerves, cackling a bit longer than seemed natural until Aiden gave him a funny look that made him blush. Clearing his throat, he approached the desk on legs that, in that moment, had all the stability of toothpicks. “You remember how I kind of bought a plane ticket with the money you gave me to pay bills and stuff?”
Aiden set down some papers, seeming impatient. “Back in September?”
“Yeah. You said it didn’t make sense for me to pay you back with money since you’re in charge of my wages, so I found the next best thing.” Justin’s knees shook badly and for some reason, he tripped on the floor and went flying forward onto the desk.
Aiden snickered. “You all right?”
“Yep, sorry.” Justin’s cheeks burned as he scrambled up. “Anyway, I was just making restitution for wasting your money. It’s an apology gift.”
Aiden picked the small, rectangular box up off the desk, arching a brow when he saw him backing away. “Where do you think you’re going, Kramer?”
Justin meant to chuckle at the joke, but it came out as an unsteady guffaw. His face got hotter. “Nice. I love that show. I didn’t know you guys got Seinfeld in Russia.”
Aiden paused from unwrapping his present. “Do I sound Russian to you?”
“Well, no, but you said you lived in Glasgow for a while.”
The man seemed annoyed as he carefully tore into the wrapping paper. “Glasgow is in Scotland.”
“No. I’m pretty sure it’s the capitol of Russia, buddy.”
“You’re thinkin’ of Moscow.”
Justin cracked a derpy grin. “Oh yeah, huh? Gotta watch those ‘-ow’ cities, I guess.”
The humor drained from Aiden’s face when he opened the box and saw the silver watch.
“It’s the same price as the plane ticket, more or less. Is it okay? It’s real silver, but I can always get you a different one if you want.”
Aiden’s green eyes lifted from the watch and rested on him, set in warning. “What is a gift like this supposed to tell me?”
Justin swallowed. “The time.”
Aiden’s hard stare eased. His chuckle sounded heartfelt as he rubbed his forehead with his fingertips. “God love you, they ought to bottle you and sell you at the pharmacy.”
He grinned. “Are you saying I’m a pill?”
“Sometimes.” Aiden took the watch out. “But you have these little moments when you’re like medicine.”
His heart smiled. “I’m glad you like it. Can you maybe not say anything?”
Aiden’s eyes darkened, but it wasn’t with hostility, and he was still smiling a little.
“It’s just that when my dad kicked me out of the house earlier this year, it was so I could learn responsibility and be an adult. If he knows I wasted your money or bought you a watch with mine, he might not take me seriously.” Justin fumbled with his hands, feeling like a tiny shrub under Aiden’s intense scrutiny. “Plus, I don’t have gifts for my coworkers since the watch was just my way of apologizing to you.”
Aiden’s smile broadened, but his eyes still flickered with wicked shadows. “I won’t say anything.”
“Thank you. I’ll go clock on.”
“Justin.”
“Yeah?”
“Thanks for this.” His countenance was softer this time. “It’s a fine watch. It was thoughtful of you.”
“You’re welcome.”

After his shift ended that same night, Justin wandered through the parking lot in the snow. If he wasn’t so tired, he’d plop down and make a snow angel, or build a big-ass snowman.
“Justin.”
He whirled around and saw Aiden coming toward him. The guy looked like a rugged winter fantasy in his thick, dark coat, his black suit, and all his manly scruff. Snowflakes fluttered down gently onto him, probably having little snowgasms that they got to touch him. Justin kind of envied them.
Aiden glanced around the empty parking lot before coming to a stop in front of him and reaching into his pocket. “I have something for you.”
“Really?”
“Don’t get excited.” Aiden handed something small and hard to him that was wrapped in red tissue paper. “It’s just something I started to make for my son years ago. I took too long to finish it and now he’s grown. I figured you might as well have it.”
“Thanks, Aiden.” Justin ripped it open and gaped down at the wooden carving of a cow. “You made this?”
“I never said it was art. It was just something to do.”
“It’s amazing.” He met Aiden’s warm gaze. “Thank you.”
Aiden smiled. “Well, I know how much you love cows. It’s no watch, but—”
Justin threw his arms around him. “It’s perfect.”
“I’m glad you like it.” Aiden wrapped his arms around him and they stood there like that for a moment in a snug embrace.
It felt like home, being held by him. The scent of the man’s skin and cologne sent a charge of need through him as much as they inspired a soul-deep yearning in his chest. Justin wanted to kiss him, but he refrained.
Reluctantly, he pulled back. “I’ll always keep it.”
“Well, I should hope so. Those take forever to make.”
“I bet. Thank you.”
“You’re welcome. Do me a favor. Don’t say anything to Shane about this. Money is tight this year. I didn’t have enough to get presents for the staff. He fancies himself my best mate. Wouldn’t want him to feel left out.”
“I won’t tell anyone.”
Aiden stepped closer, clipping his tone. “I mean it, Justin. Don’t say anything.”
“I won’t.”
No one ever stood as close to him as his boss often did. It was an invasion of space and he loved it.
“I know you have a big mouth.” Aiden brushed the dusting of snow off of Justin’s hair, making his brains scatter. “But I like to think you’d keep a secret if I asked you to.”
“For you, yeah,
I promise.”
Aiden cocked a half-smile. “Good boy.” He gave Justin’s arm a light pat before walking away toward his car. “Enjoy your Christmas.”
“You, too.”
A whole week off without seeing Aiden…He got bummed just thinking about it.
After Justin got home to his apartment, he admired the wooden carving for a minute before setting it on a shelf in his room. He lay on the bed with his chin on his hands, staring at it. He didn’t care what Aiden said. It was art.
It struck him as strange that the man had claimed he’d initially intended the wooden cow for his son, but his “I know how much you love cows” comment sounded more like he’d carved it from start to finish with Justin in mind.
Probably just a coincidence. Maybe Aiden’s son liked cows, too. Who didn’t love cows?
Just before getting into bed for the night, Justin kissed the gift. “Good night, Aiden cow.”

Hessian had missed on purpose. The Southern gentleman fancied himself a hero, no doubt, but Hessian knew how to hit his targets with deadly accuracy when he wanted to. He loved toying with his victims, letting them know that he was closing in on them, watching their frantic struggle to run or hide. It was priceless, really.
Since that near-fateful day in the Huntingtons’ pasture weeks back, he’d delayed his assassination plans for one reason—his Kendall-obsessed patron had run out on him. The Emo coward had either had a crisis of conscience, or more likely had split with no intention of paying him the other half of his money. Until he was paid in full, the Huntingtons and Quentin would continue to breathe.
The change in plans was no loss to him. On the contrary, he had a new target. The pallid client had become his prey.
Chapter Nineteen
Shane took Kendall with him to the club to do a scene with her. She’d agreed to exhibition as long as her audience was behind glass up in the balcony and she couldn’t see them gawking at her. He was proud of her for being brave enough to try new things, especially a venture so daring for her.
He loved the way she looked kneeling on the floor submissively with her alabaster curves, eyes the color of jades, and her long, thick, lustrous red curls tumbling all around her shoulders.
