Sugar Love

"I'm fine," Alphonse says sharply. "Look Georgianna, I have to go. I'll talk to you later, ok?"
Georgianna huffs with annoyance that he isn’t falling for her niceness and finally admits defeat.
"Ok, fine. I'll talk to you later. You know his birthday is coming up soon, right? You are coming?"
"Of course," Alphonse snaps. "Why wouldn't I come to my own son's birthday?"
"Perfect," she purrs. "I'll see you then."
The good mood that Alphonse originally had is now gone and he throws his phone against the wall with a growl under his breath. He thought that his past was gone, but apparently it isn’t. His past will forever be hung over his head as long as Georgianna has sway over him in one small matter: his son.
❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁
A couple of days later, Alphonse’s car pulls up to a white plantation-style home. Getting the present that he bought for his son, he gets out of the car and walks up to the door. Knocking twice, it's answered by a maid who leads him inside and to the backyard where the party is being held.
Musicians play soft music, a massive white cake sits on a table for all to admire, and people walk around in swimsuits holding drinks and talking to themselves. If it wasn't for the children running around or the pony rides, you would think this is an adult party and not for a seven-year-old.
"YOU CAME!" a high-pitched voice shrieks out.
Tiny warm arms wrap around Alphonse’s waist and he looks down, unable to stop the small smile curving his lips as he looks into the large blue eyes of his son Lukas. They could pass for twins: same skin tone, same smile, same nose, same messy brown hair. They are alike in so many ways; the only thing different are the blue eyes that are Georgianna’s; however, they have a warmth in them that hers doesn’t.
"Hello, my son,” Alphonse says gently. “How are you today?"
Lukas looks at me and grins, revealing several missing milk teeth. "I'm wonderful, he says. "Even better now that you are here."
"We both are," a seductive voice says behind them.
Alphonse stiffens and turns around to see Georgianna sauntering her way over to them, Alphonse’s eyes roam over her. She's wearing a white bikini that leaves little to the imagination with a wrap around her waist; he frowns slightly. The woman is a mother; can't she wear something a bit more conservative?
"Glad you could make it, Alphonse," she purrs. "Very glad you could."
"Well, I couldn't miss my own son's birthday, now could I?" Alphonse asks, lifting Lukas in his arms.
"I don't know," Georgianna says as smooth as silk. "I would think that with your new girlfriend, you wouldn't have time for your son."
Alphonse’ stiffens, bristling slightly at her reference to Rosalinda. He doesn’t know how she knows about Rosalinda, but then again he wouldn’t put anything past her. Georgianna is known to try to meddle with his business when she needs to mind her own.
Lukas looks at Alphonse. "A new girlfriend? Is she pretty, Papa?"
"Very," Alphonse can’t help but chuckle softly before placing him back down on the ground. "Why don't you go look at the gift I brought you, I'm sure you'll love it."
Lukas' smile splits his face as he runs to the mountain of gifts sitting on a table. Alphonso turns to Georgianna, who smirks at him.
"Such a healthy boy, isn't he?” she says. “To think you didn't believe me when I told you he was yours.”
"Well, you were sleeping with two other guys besides me around the time you conceived, so forgive me if I had my doubts,” Alphonse snaps.
"Well, you have your proof," she says, meaning Lukas.
"Still doesn't make what you did right," Alphonse lightly growls. "Now go back to what you first said; how did you find out?"
Georgianna shrugs and then taps his nose. "Oh, my dear Alphonse, I thought you knew by now that I know everything."
Alphonse gives her a withering glance. "You will not run this one off."
Georgianna puckers her lips. "Like I care what you do with your whores on the side. I have your son and am your fiancée."
"Ex-fiancée," Alphonse points out.
Georgianna smirks. "For now."
Alphonse scowls at her. Georgianna is the reason why he made the rule about no more children and the women getting rid of it if they become pregnant. This woman is cold, ruthless, and power hungry. She's run away several of his past girlfriends when they broke up and he refuses to let her do it again.
Yet…there is something about Rosalinda that pulls him to her and he can't put his finger on it. However, if she ever does fall pregnant, he will force her to get rid of it. He refuses to get trapped again and if she can't handle it, then he'll just leave.
Chapter Eight
“Here you go, sir; here is your room,” the bellhop says as he opens the door.
“Thank you,” Alphonse says, giving him a tip before he closes the door and looks to Rosalinda, who is looking at everything with wide eyes.
Less than 48 hours ago, they boarding the private plane that flew them to Mexico. Alphonse has a fashion line that is going to be released tomorrow and he brought her with him. He has finally told her about his profession and while she isn’t exactly surprised by it, she is still shocked.
“So um…what do you want to do?” he asks her.
Rosalinda turns around and looks at him. “What do you mean?”
“There are lots of hot clubs here,” he says. “Or do you want to sit down and watch a movie?”
“I’d love to go a club,” she says smiling. “Do you have one in mind?”
“Actually, yes,” he says nodding. “There is one not far from here, I know that you’ll love it.”
Rosalinda nods and smiles shyly at him. There has become a calming air around them as they have gotten more and more comfortable around each other. However, she has a feeling that there is a secret that he’s hiding, but she won’t press it. Just like he is waiting for her to get ready, she will wait for him.
“Go ahead and get dressed,” he says. “I have to make a quick phone call and meet with some of my business partners. I’ll be back in a bit.”
She nods and watches him leave before going into the bathroom to take a hot shower and do as he says. However, as she looks through her luggage, she sees that she has nothing right to wear. With an annoyed huff as she is angry at herself, she takes out her computer and begins to search for stores that are near and have good dresses. It doesn’t take her long to find one.
Taking a taxi, she spends the time looking for dresses as well as mingling with the local people. While she herself isn’t Mexican, she speaks Spanish and is of the Hispanic culture because of her blood. She stops at the local street sellers and buys salted and limed mango slices, a treat that she’s always loved. She dances in the streets to the local musicians and even gets a picture painted that she decides to send to her children.
She smiles as she thinks of them as she buys some gifts for them; her family has been getting the money that Alphonse is sending them and she is grateful for it all. She wants to think of a way to thank him, but the only thing that comes to mind is to give herself to him. Yet…she still isn’t sure if she is ready.
She keeps telling herself that it would be just sex, and that there would be no feelings attached; yet, she cannot fight the feelings that she is feeling toward him right now. She knows that the moment that they sleep together, it will open a fresh can of feelings that she isn’t sure she can handle right now. Sighing, she returns to the hotel room and begins to get dressed for the club tonight. She decides not to think; if her heart tells her that it’s time, then she knows that it’s time.
When Alphonse returns, he finds her ready and has to do a double take. He thought that she looked beautiful before, yet tonight…she is wearing a shimmering red dress that is divided into two: a flamingo dancer-like skirt and a cropped halter-top. Her hair is loose, like always, but the front of it is braided in a sort of headband-like style with what look to be rubies that reflec
t perfectly with her chocolate curls.
“You…you look beautiful…” he whispers softly, not knowing what it is that has her glowing.
“Thank you,” Rosalinda says shyly. “Are you…are you going to get dressed?”
“Y…yeah, I will,” he chokes. “Just…give me a moment.”
He is close to forgetting about the club altogether; he wants to just pull her into his arms and kiss her senseless, but knows he must wait until she makes the first move. It doesn’t take him long to get ready as he takes a quick shower and pulls on a fresh suit before taking her hand and leading her outside to where their limo awaits.
❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁
The club that Alphonse takes her to is loud with flashy lights that almost seem to blind her, but she presses close to him.
“Do you want something to drink?” he whispers in her ear. “Or…something to eat?”
“I would like something to drink, yes,” she says, nodding.
Alphonse nods and lets her go in order to go to the bar. This is a highly exclusive club for only the elite to come inside. Getting their drinks, he walks to where he left her and holds out the drink. Rosalinda takes it happily and nods to him; it tastes sweet and they go find a place to sit. However, the need to dance quickly begins to overwhelm her and she looks to him.
“Want to dance?” she asks.
“I…I don’t really dance,” he says nervously.
“You don’t or you can’t?” she asks.
“A bit of both,” he chuckles softly. “I erm…never exactly learned how to…”
“Well then let me help with that,” she says, taking his hand and leading him to dance floor. She smiles at him and puts one of his hands on her hip, holding the other in her hand. “Copy what I do.”
It takes a bit, but Alphonse slowly begins to dance with her help. He can’t help but smile as she moves so free with the music while he looks like a newborn compared to her. When the song Adrenalina, by Wisin ft. Jennifer Lopez & Ricky Martin begins to play through the speakers, her face lights up with joy.
“I love this song!” she says to him.
A man taps her shoulder, holding out his hand to dance and she looks to Alphonse. He gives the man a sharp look but nods as he trusts her. Instantly, the man takes her in his arms and begins to spin her around the club singing along to the lyrics. Alphonso watches her in utter amazement and smiles at her; she looks perfectly in her element while he, himself, is so out of his.
He guesses that he’s been so down in the dumps because of the loss of his mother, who was his heart and soul. Yet, whenever he is with Rosalinda, he doesn’t feel alone anymore. He feels as if his mother is with him.
Suddenly, Rosalinda leaves the group and rushes to him. Taking him in her arms, she leads him in the hot Latin dance. Alphonse stumbles a bit but is slowly able to pick up the steps.
“You’re doing great!” she says.
Taken by confidence, Alphonse grabs her waist and spins her around the dancefloor in the fast-paced dance. He is still a beginner, but it’s as if his feet know what to do. Hand in hand, forehead to forehead they dance, the world melting away as they only focus on each other.
Alphonse dips her then pulls her close, turning her around to press her back to his front as he holds her hips to sway. Rosalinda sighs as he presses his lips to her neck and bites gently, her eyes closing in both bliss and astonishment. She didn’t expect him to pick up the dance this fast, yet he seems like a pro.
Turning her back around so that he can look into her eyes, the weight of the world seems to melt away as they start deeply into each other’s souls. At that moment, there is no other person in the club; it’s just them. At that moment, Rosalinda can see the shimmer of something in his eyes, a look that she’s never seen before and has no name for.
She cups the back of his head and pulls him close for a deep kiss and he responds, holding her waist to press her even closer. Slowly, she pulls away and Alphonse can see the desire swirling in her eyes; he can see it: she is ready.
❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁
When they return to the hotel room, he looks at her one last time to see if this is what she truly wants and he asks her.
“Are you sure?” he whispers softly.
“More than anything,” she says, pulling him close for a kiss.
Alphonse lets his body take control; slowly, his hands move to remove her clothing until she is in her bra and panties. When it’s her turn, Rosalinda slowly peels off his clothing until he is in his boxers. Sweeping her into his arms, Alphonse carries her to the bed and gently lays her on the sheets.
Crawling in after her, he kisses her neck while his hands wander over her body. Carefully, they explore each other’s bodies—touching, caressing, and kissing. Before long, they are fully naked in each other’s arms and he is kissing back up to her neck; a gentle push and he’s inside of her.
He buries his face in the curve of her neck as he begins to move his hips, the reality of the pleasure overwhelming and more than he could have ever dreamed. Slowly, their fingers intertwine as he pulls his head from her neck and presses his lips to hers. Every stroke is deep and sensual, yet slow and gentle as he takes his time. He’s waited forever to sleep with her and he wants to savor the feeling.
Rosalinda, on the other hand, is a moaning, groaning mess as he moves within her. It’s been years since she last slept with a man; the last man she slept with was Antonio’s father and that was almost seven years ago. She had almost forgotten what it felt like, and now she feels like an idiot for being abstinent for so long.
Alphonse groans. She feels perfect; her warmth and tightness are different than anything he’s ever felt before and he doesn’t want this to end. Holding her hips, he rolls her over so that she’s on top. It’s been a while but she knows what to do. Slowly, she begins to move her hips, moaning with bliss as she tilts her head back.
Alphonse tilts his own head back, groaning as he feels her move her hips. “Just like that…” he groans. “Oui, ma rose…”
Rosalinda moans and grips the back of the bed as she begins to move her hips faster, wanting him deeper; Alphonse gets the cue. Sitting up, he begins to thrust into her, pressing his lips to hers as they pant in unison.
“You feel amazing…” he whispers. “You know that?”
“I could say the same thing about you,” she whispers back.
“You have yet to release?” he asks.
“Not yet,” she says.
“Should I remedy that?” he says with a devilish chuckle.
Rosalinda yelps as he rolls her onto her back and then giggles. “What are you doing?”
“Me?” he says, putting her legs over his shoulders. “I’m just going to screw you until you scream.”
He delivers, thrusting into her at a furious pace; his fingers rub her pearl, working to make her release. She is panting, moaning, crying out in his arms as she grips his shoulders.
“D…dep it, Alphonse,” she pants. “I…I’m going to…”
“You better not hold back,” he pants, thrusting deeper.
She can’t; with a gasp, she throws back her head and cries out his name at the top of her lungs. Alphonse isn’t far behind her. With a groan, he pours into her before falling at her side. For a moment, it’s silent as they try to catch their breath while the look into each other’s eyes.
“Alphonse?” she says softly.
“Yes?” he says, kissing her shoulder. “What is it?”
“Can I tell you a secret?”
“Sure.”
“I haven’t slept with a man since the birth of my son…almost seven years ago.”
Alphonse looks at her in shock and then smiles softly. “Can I tell you a secret?”
“Of course.”
“I don’t like broccoli,” he says.
“What does that have to do with me not sleeping with a guy in almost seven years?” she asks.
Alphonse shrugs. “Nothing, I just don’t like b
roccoli.”
Rosalinda laughs and throws a pillow at him, which he catches then wraps his arms around her to pull her close for a kiss.
“Alphonse,” she whispers.
“Yes?” he says.
“I don’t let a lot of people in. And…can you promise me…that there are no secrets with you?” she asks. “Please?”
Alphonse nods. “I promise it. Now…stop talking and come here…”
Chapter Nine
Alphonse sits in his office looking over the paperwork for his newest fashion line; he is in the same happy mood he’s been for the last couple of months since he and Rosalinda have come back from Mexico. To say that sex does a body good is an understatement as they can barely keep their hands off each other.
He now keeps a couple of clothes at her apartment because he knows that the moment he steps in the door, she is going to tear off the ones that he is wearing. He can’t get enough of her and doubts that he ever will.
The people in his office building notice his good mood and hope that it stays this way. After the death of his mother, he was violent and quick to temper—well, quicker than normal. Yet, they know that there is a woman in his life that is changing him and they all hope that it’s for the good.
The moment that his clock says that it’s six in the evening, Alphonse rushes to his car and drives like a mad man to Rosalinda’s house. The young woman is waiting for him, like always, in a see-through top that she wears only for him, and booty shorts made of silk.
Pulling her into his arms, he presses his lips to hers passionately as he picks her up and carries her to the bedroom, where they spend hours in each other’s arms. Later, they cuddle in front of the TV and Rosalinda tells him of her life in Miami. He asks questions and she answers, not wanting to lie to him as it’s not her nature. With him, however, he feels secretly ashamed that he has lied to her.
She asked him if he had any more secrets and made him promise to never keep anything from her, yet he is. He has kept the most important thing from her: he has a son. She had told him all about her children, but he hasn’t told her a single thing about his.
