“Is that what you want?” I asked. “And will it ever be over?” I asked.
“Some day it will.” she said, ignoring my first question. “Come on. Barry got back with me. I think I have a lead on where we can start looking for the Satan sisters.”
“Do you trust him?” I asked.
“He's about the only one in the VI who I do still trust.” she said.
“Where do we start?”
“Alaska.” she said.
I wasn't sure how I felt about leaving Teresa unprotected, but if it meant getting those two for what they did then it would end this sooner and would mean Teresa was safe anyway.
“Do you have a coat with you?” I asked. “Let's go to Alaska.”
