“Are you going with him to pick up his parents?”

“No, I am going to go get something to eat with him after the game, if that’s okay.”

Smiling, Barb pats Chris’ hand, “You know it is.”

Throughout the game Brandon and Brent have been exchanging words. It’s a wonder one of them hasn’t taken a swing at the other. If looks could kill they’d both be dead. And losing by one run doesn’t help the situation any. Brandon walks up to Chris and asks if she’s ready to go. Chris can see how agitated he is and so can Barb who has a concerned look on her face. Chris pats Barb’s hand, “It’ll be okay mom. He just needs to calm down and I think him and I need to talk. I’ll be home in a couple of hours, okay?” Barb nods her head but doesn’t say anything.

Driving away Brandon’s knuckles are white as he grips the steering wheel. Chris reaches over and places her hand on his. “Brandon”

He relaxes his grip and glances over at her. “He was flirting with you.”

Chris takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly. “I know, but Brent is…Brandon, Brent flirts with every girl. It’s just his way.”

“That doesn’t give him the right to flirt with you. You are my girlfriend. Not Wendy, not one of the cheerleaders, but my girlfriend. Mine!”

Chris laughs, “Yours, huh? Okay, Brandon, just because Brent flirts with me, doesn’t mean that I flirt with him and it definitely does not mean that he could get me in bed with him, okay? I love you and no one else. Don’t you know that?”

They pull up in front of the pizza place and park. Putting his arm on the back of her seat Brandon looks at her. Chris smiles at him.

“Are you going to kiss me or not?”

Finally smiling Brandon leans over and kisses her slow and tender. “Maybe we should just go to my place and forget about pizza.”

“I don’t think so. You’ve got to buy me lunch if you want to get me into bed. I’m not easy, you know.”

Brandon gets out and opens the door for her. “Oops, wait a minute.” He reaches down the front of his pants, pulls out his cup and tosses it in the back seat.

Chris shakes her head, rolls her eyes, and mutters, “Men”

  

Walking into his room, Brandon starts pulling off his shirt, “I have got to take a shower.”

“So go take one, I’ll wait.”

“No… the deal was you are supposed to take one with me.”

  “But Brandon…”

“But what? It’s not like I haven’t seen you naked before.”

“I know, but we have always been covered up or half dressed. This is so…”

“What? Revealing? Exposed?” Brandon grabs her around the waist. “Natural? Hot? Sexy?” And he starts grinning at her. Chris is grinning and blushing at the same time. “Okay… I’ll take a shower with you.”

Brandon reaches into the shower and turns on the water before stripping off the rest of his clothes. “Okay your turn.”

  “Brandon…”

“Come on, I’ll even close my eyes. See?”

Chris just has to laugh. Brandon’s standing under the spray of the water, with a hard on, one hand over his eyes and the other hand waving around in the air like someone feeling around in the dark.

Chris undresses, steps into the shower in front of him and puts her arms around his neck. Taking a deep breath Brandon reaches down and grabs her ass pulling her tightly to him. “See that wasn’t so hard was it?”

Chris reaches down and wraps her hand around him. “Feels awful hard to me.”

Brandon sucks in his breath. “I love you Chris. Don’t ever forget that.” Eager to touch and taste every inch of her, Brandon glides his hands over her wet skin. He kisses her neck, her breast, and sliding his tongue down to her naval, he pokes the tip of his tongue in and she jumps but doesn’t stop him as he continues down between her legs, tasting and teasing her with his tongue before moving back up until he is kissing her lips again. Breathing heavy Chris starts kissing him the same way. Getting down on one knee, she wraps her hand around him and tastes him with the tip of her tongue then slides her mouth over him. Never experiencing this before she’s nervous. She’s heard some girls say they like to give head, some say they don’t because it’s gross. It’s not bad she thinks to herself. It’s kind of like sucking on a sucker without the flavor, but she doesn’t want him cumming in her mouth, she wants to feel him throbbing inside her. She moves her mouth off of him and twirls her tongue around the tip before moving back up his body to his mouth. Chris breathlessly whispers to him.

“I want to feel you inside me.” Brandon shuts off the shower, takes her hand and leads her to the bed.

  

Standing in front of the mirror Chris groans. “Ugh, my hair’s all wet and my makeup is all washed off.”

Brandon puts his arms around her and looks at her reflection in the mirror. “I think you look beautiful and sexy.”

“Oh yeah, my mom’s going to say the same thing when I get home, right after she asks me why I look like this.”

Brandon chuckles. “Chris, don’t you think she knows by now what we are doing when we take off for hours?”

  “Yes, but…”

“Come on, I’ve got to take you home, so I can head to the airport.”

  

Heading straight for the bathroom Chris hears Barb calling to her from the kitchen. “Chris is that you?”

“Yeah mom it’s me. I’ll be down in a minute.” Chris’ hair is almost dry. She runs the brush through it and pulls it back into a pony tail, then applies some makeup. Looking in the mirror she thinks it will have to do. Flushing the toilet she hopes mom will just think that she had to go pee real bad. “Want some help?” Chris asks as she walks into the kitchen.

“Sure, I always welcome help. You know that.”

Standing next to Barb Chris hears her mutter, “Shower sex, interesting.”

  “Mom!”

“What? Oh my God, did I say that out loud?”

Laughing Chris tells her, “Yes, you did and you are blushing.”

“Bet I’m not as red as you are though.”

Smiling Chris tells her, “I don’t want to go there.”

Barb changes the subject. “What was up with Brandon and Brent today?”

“Brandon thinks that when he’s not around, that Brent is flirting with me.”

“He is, you know.” Barb replies.

“I know, but Brent flirts with everyone, not just me, and Brandon shouldn’t worry about it, because I have no desire to be with Brent.”

“Have you told Brandon this, because he seemed quite upset?”

“I did today, because today was the first time he has ever commented on it. He was fine by the time we pulled into the pizza place. I think he’s just stressed out. What with his parents coming home today and him having to pick them up at the airport and then we start back to school on Monday, I think the Brent thing just finally rubbed him the wrong way.”

“Oh, Chris before I forget to tell you, the owner of the store called and you got the job. You start work on Monday.”

“Really…? That is so cool! You’re not just teasing me are you?”

“No Chris, I wouldn’t tease you about something like that. I’m not really excited about it, but….”

“Mom, quit worrying it’ll be okay.”

  

Sitting on the couch later that night, Barb is doing a crossword while Chris is reading a book and Brad has gone upstairs to take a shower.

“Chris, I need a two word answer, nine letters total for “wet intercourse. Let’s see, it starts with an “S”…Wait, I got it. Shower sex, right?”

“Mom!” Chris says, as she playfully throws the pillow at Barb. “Dad’s in the shower, why don’t you go ask him? I’m sure he can help you with that. As for me, I’m going to bed.” Laughing Chris leans over and kisses Barb on the cheek. “Night mom”

  

Chris and Barb are sprawled out on t
he living room floor reading the Sunday funnies when Barb asks her, “Is Brandon coming over today?”

“I don’t know. Actually I don’t think so. He didn’t say anything about coming over today. I’m thinking he will probably spend the day with his parents.”

“Well then how about you and I go shopping and have lunch. Just spend some you and me time. What do you think?”

  “Sounds good to me.”

Spending time with Barb shopping is one of Chris’ favorite things to do. They don’t usually buy anything, they just mainly window shop and then get lunch at one of the seven kitchens there at the mall. Headed into the record store Barb grabs Chris‘ arm and points to a sign in the window. “Look. They’re hiring.”

“Mom, is that why you brought me shopping? So I could put in applications here? And here I thought you brought me shopping, just so we could talk about shower sex…Besides, if I got a job here at the mall, I’d have to ride the bus back and forth to work. Don’t you think its better having me work just a couple of blocks away?”

“Oh Chrissy, I just worry about you working there at night by yourself.”

“I know you do mom, but at least let me try it out and see. Then if it doesn’t work out or I don’t feel safe, I’ll look for another job, okay? Now how about some lunch? I’m starving.”

  

Chris sees the late bell is going to ring in about two minutes and Brandon isn’t here yet. Glancing over at Brent with a worried look, Brent shrugs his shoulders. “Why are you looking at me? He’s your boyfriend. Besides, according to Brandon I’m not even supposed to be talking to you.”

  “Are you two still feuding?”

“ Look Chris, I don‘t know where he is, okay?”

“Fine Brent, But Brandon’s still never been this late before.” Chris glares at Brent as he shrugs again. Ten minutes before class is over Brandon saunters in and hands the teacher a slip from the office before sitting down. Tugging on Chris’ hair Brandon tells her good morning beautiful, just like usual. Standing outside the door after class Chris tugs on Brandon‘s shirt. “Brandon why are you late?”

Yawning and stretching Brandon gives Chris a sheepish grin and puts his arms around her. “I overslept.”

“Hmm, you overslept. I take it you went to bed too late last night.”

“Huh uh, my parents were up arguing most of the night.”

“Brandon, did you tell Brent he couldn’t talk to me?”

Brandon shrugs her off. “Chris, run away with me today?”

“What…Boy you are tired, because you are talking crazy. What do you mean run away with you? Where would we go?”

“I don’t really mean “run away, run away”, I just mean we could skip the rest of today and head up to the mountains or down to the beach. Just get away from everyone, just for a few hours.”

“We can’t do that, besides I have to work tonight.”

Brandon leans away from her and Chris can see he’s not happy with her news. “Oh Brandon, I know you didn’t want me to get the job either, but I did, and I’m excited about it.”

Brandon shakes his head, “I’ve got to go.”

“Brandon…” He doesn’t turn around. With his head hung down and his hands in his pockets he walks off down the hallway.

 Chris hasn’t seen Brandon since he walked off this morning, not even at lunch. Walking across the student parking lot she decides she’ll walk home. Chris is halfway home when Brandon pulls up along side the curb.

“Hey beautiful, do you want a ride?”

Chris tosses her hair back and sticks her nose in the air.

“No thank you. I’m walking home.”

“Oh, so you think you are too good to ride home with a ditcher, is that it?”

Trying not to smile Chris glances over at him.

“No, I just need some exercise.”

“I offered you exercise this morning, but you told me no.”

“Really, is that what you meant by “running” away with you? That we were actually going to run? Maybe next time you should clarify what you mean.”

Laughing at her Brandon grabs his crotch.

“Oh, so next time I’m supposed to say, Hey baby, want some of this?”

“Oh gawd, Brandon you are sooo bad.”

“Okay, last chance, are you sure you don’t want a ride?”

  “Positive”

“Okay, I’ll see you in about 15 minutes then.” Spinning his tires, Brandon peels out and leaves her standing there, shaking her head.

  

Barb is sitting on the porch swing when Brandon walks up.

  “Where’s Chris?”

  “She’s walking home.”

“Uh oh, you two didn’t have a fight, did you?”

Brandon grins at Barb. “No, she just decided she needed some exercise.”

“So what do you think about her starting that new job tonight?”

Brandon wrings his hands and look down at his shoes. “When she sets her mind on something, there is just no changing it, is there?”

“Sorry, no, she can be quite stubborn sometimes. I take it you don’t like the idea of her working there either?”

Brandon shrugs his shoulders. “It’s her choice.”

“So what do you have planned for tonight? Do you want to stay and have dinner with us?”

“Wish I could, but my parents are having company over for dinner and I have to be the good little son and be there. And I can tell you right now, I am not looking forward to it.”

“Why, don’t you like your parent’s friends?”

“It’s Amber’s family, so the answer is, no I don’t like my parent’s friends.”

  “Have you told Chris?”

“Told me what?” Chris asks as she walks up the steps.

Barb gets up, “I’m sorry, I forgot my manners. Do you two want something to drink? I’ll be back out with something as soon as I check on dinner.” And Barb goes inside leaving them alone.

“Okay, told me what?” Chris asks as she sits down on the porch swing.

Brandon gets up from the chair and moves over to sit next to her.

“My parents are having a dinner party tonight and I’ve been told by my mom, that I have to stay home for it”

“Okay, so what’s the big deal? I have to be at work tonight anyway.”

  “It’s Amber’s family that’s coming for dinner.”

“Is that why your parents were arguing last night?”

“No, I have no idea why they were arguing. I just know my mom was jumping all over my dad for something. I cranked up my stereo and put the pillow over my head. I think I finally fell asleep about 2 a.m. this morning.”

“So where did you go after you left me this morning?”

“Nowhere really, I just drove around. I couldn’t go to the cabin, because my mom said she was going up there this morning. Don’t even ask, I have no idea why.”

Chris puts her arms around his neck. “I’m sorry I didn’t go with you this morning.”

Brandon smiles and slides his hand up her thigh. “Now you are regretting it, aren’t you? I could have shown you a good time.”

Chris grabs his hand before he gets to her crotch, “Go home and get ready for you date with Amber, so I can go help mom make dinner. I want to eat before I have to go to work, and Brandon” Chris says sweetly, “You better not be late to school tomorrow because Amber kept you awake until 2 a.m.”

  “Chris, I love you.”

“I know and I bet that’s what you tell all the beautiful girls. Now go home.”

Chris walks into the kitchen and Barb turns around. “Where’s Brandon?”

“I sent him home to get ready for his date with Amber.”

“Oh Chris you are so funny. Aren’t you worried about her having dinner at his house?”

“No, not on his part anyway. It’s just his mom that bugs me. So… do you want some help with dinner?”

“No, but you can sit in here, do your
homework, and keep me company if you want.”

  

Chris’ eyes follow Brandon as he passes her desk on the way to his own. “You’re here early this morning.”

Brandon sits down behind her and tugs on her hair. “I thought we could talk before class starts, but first, good morning beautiful.”

Chris starts to fidget. She wants to know what happened last night and yet she doesn’t. “How did dinner go last night?”

“Chris, turn around and look at me.”

Chris shakes her head. “I’m afraid to.”

“Okay, you are going to hear some stories today. It just depends on how much Amber blabs.”

“What kind of stories? You make it sound like something happened between you and Amber last night. Did something happen Brandon?”

“Well after dinner my mom said to me, “Brandon, why don’t you take Amber up to your room?” And I asked her, “Why would I want to take Amber to my room?” And she threw at me, “I just thought the two of you could listen to some music. You’ve taken Chris to your room, why not Amber?” And she said it in a tone that…I just looked at her and told her flat out, You invited them, you entertain them, I’m going to Brent’s and I walked out. Now depending on Amber’s mood, she’s either going to say, I took her to my room and we made out, or she’s going to tell everyone that you are a slut. Your turn… how was your first night at work?”

“Brandon! Does your mom know I’ve been to your room?”

“No, I don’t think so. I think she was just trying to see my reaction. Now are you going to turn around and look at me?”

Sighing Chris turns around in her chair, “I’m a slut now? Okay… If the shoe fits, I guess…That’s okay, I guess it’s better then you making out with Amber in your room. A slut? Come on, really? As for my first night at work, I liked it. I am learning. I’m a little slow, but the customers were polite and patient. Your turn…Brandon do you still love me?”

A smile is tugging at the corners of his mouth, but Chris sees a desire burning in his eyes. “Run away with me and I’ll show you just how much.”

“Ugh, I’ll never get rid of the moniker, slut, will I?”

“No, but that’s okay, as long as you’re only my slut and not anyone else’s.”
