“I don’t know. We don’t really voice them. We’re only concerned for him and how to make things better. I don’t want him to feel under any kind of pressure, or to feel like he has to love us. If things were different… very different, I still don’t know if I’d voice how… How I may feel for him.” Milo took out his keys, bouncing them in his hand. It took him six years to tell Daniel he was in love with him. Even now it didn’t really come easy to him to say the words.

“I’m sure he will feel how you two care. Even if he doesn’t understand how deeply, he will feel loved and wanted. That’s the important thing.”

“Daniel and I both work really hard to make sure he always feels safe. He’s become a big part of our lives. It’s happened quickly, but I can’t seem to see Danny or me without him being there beside us.”

“I know right now this will be difficult for you to discuss. And it may not even be an option for you all to be together, but it’s one you shouldn’t disregard. When things have settled down, you should talk to him. Give him the chance to think about it. He deserves that much. Allow him to decide what’s best for him, what he wants. Don’t do it for him.”

Milo opened the car door for her and stared at her as she settled into the seat. “That’s hard to do. And not just about our feelings. I'm a bit of a control freak, and this situation, it has me at breaking point a lot of the time.” Milo sucked in a deep breath. “It should feel worse being around him, but it doesn’t. It’s when I'm apart from him it hurts more.”

“Uh huh.” She chuckle. “You’re so in love with him.”

“Oh… Be quiet, woman.” Milo shut the door with a smile.

Urgh. Love, really? Dear God! Milo shook his head. He wasn’t in love, it was misguided concern and sexual desire. Not love. That couldn’t happen. Not now.

The drive home was quick and filled with small talk about herself and her work. By the time Milo pulled up outside Daniel’s house, he knew Claudia was someone who he would gladly have as a friend, and happy Samuel had her back in his life.

As soon as they stepped out of the car, Milo saw Samuel standing still in the driveway, watching them both. He glanced at Claudia and saw tears spilling down her face as they took a moment to look over each other. Samuel moved first, and then she rushed to him, both of them colliding against the other in a bone-crushing hug which made Milo grin from ear to ear.

Samuel shook with the force of his tears and Milo could hear Claudia’s soft words as she comforted him. He kept back, watching as they held each other tightly, both rushing out their words, each sharing their apologies and regrets mixed up with comforting touches and kisses.

Samuel finally lifted his head and smiled at Milo, then wrapped his arm around her waist and walked into the house, hovering at the entrance while he waited for Milo to join them.

Samuel leaned up and kissed him softly on the cheek. “Thank you for finding her.”

“It’s no problem.” Milo smiled, letting Samuel’s slim hand curl in his own as he closed the door.

Claudia and Samuel sat together and he introduced her to Daniel before he offered to make them all a cup of tea and gave them some much needed time alone. Milo joined him in the kitchen, both of them listening as Samuel rushed out what he’d been through since they saw each other and questioning her about her safety, telling her how he had stayed away only to save her. It made Milo and Daniel smile as they stole quick glances at them both through the half opened door.

Samuel needed friends and people who he trusted in his life and both of them knew Claudia was a welcome person in his life, one he obviously loved a lot.

  Chapter 19

Daniel watched Milo’s sexy body as he dried himself. Having him practically living here was different, but nice. Well, nice now Samuel kept Milo calm and took charge of the house for him. It helped Milo relax a lot, because, and Milo would never admit this, but the guy had serious OCD issues about cleaning.

He wasn’t as bad here, but Daniel had spent enough time at his place to know how bad he got. Samuel seemed to understand him better, maybe even shared some of those traits, but he kept Milo sane and seemed to be able to talk him around his issues rather than pointing them out and making a big deal about them like Daniel did.

They had come to bed later than normal, but it was difficult separating Samuel and Claudia. They would see her again. Daniel promised Samuel she could come visit anytime she wanted to, and of course, they could talk over the phone now any time they wanted to. Samuel had been exhausted and fell into bed as soon as she left, leaving Milo and Daniel some alone time before they came to bed. Sleep was the last thing on Daniel’s mind though, and he watched Milo standing in front of him.

“Get in bed. I can’t take much more of this teasing.” Daniel threw back the sheets, lying back and stroking his cock as Milo smirked at him from the bottom of the bed.

“Hmm, I like watching you. I may stay here for a bit longer.”

Daniel groaned. “Can’t you just once do what I want and get your sexy arse in bed?”

“What, this arse is sexy?” Milo dropped his towel and turned his back to Daniel, shaking his firm arse at him.

“So unbelievably sexy.” Daniel crawled over to him, and kissed his arse cheek. “I love your arse.”

“I know.” Milo laughed as Daniel licked him softly, following his cheek up to the base of his spine and kissing him again. “We need to have loud, lose your mind sex. We should think about soundproofing this room or something so I can hear you shouting my name out.”

“Or I can hear you talking dirty to me while you try to break the bed in half by fucking me hard.”

“Hmm, I do miss talking dirty to you, Baby.” Milo pushed him backwards, climbing over him and straddling his cock with his arse. “Whispering is hot, but I prefer not thinking about disturbing our guest while we do it.”

“I’m sure he's heard us by now. Even when we’re quiet, we’re not really very quiet.”

Milo grinned before he kissed him. Daniel rose up, pushing his cock into his arse, wanting to feel Milo’s cheeks wrapped around it and riding him. That was the closest he came to actually fucking Milo, and it drove him wild.

“You like him hearing us,” Milo whispered against his lips.

“I do not!” Daniel frowned, but he was lying. The thought of Samuel hearing him moaning, letting him guess why he was moaning, it got him harder and he imagined Samuel laid in bed, listening to them, maybe even joining in by pulling his cock. “Maybe a bit.”

“A bit?” Milo laughed. “How stupid do you think I am? You just got twice as hard even mentioning his name.”

  “You’re not exactly soft, Milo.”

“I have you underneath me. I'm always hard and desperate when that happens.”

  “You’ve thought about him.”

Milo half smiled, then kissed him and ended the conversation while they got hot and heavy together. Daniel had both of their cocks in his hand and Milo's mouth on his nipples when they heard a loud bang from downstairs. Milo was off him and grabbing his taser gun before Daniel had taken a breath.

“Stay here.” Milo wrapped the towel around his hips as he took off, silently making his way downstairs.

Daniel crept out of the room, stumbling into a pair of jogging pants as he walked to Samuel’s room. The door was partially opened, and when he looked inside, he found it empty. He released a breath, then looked downstairs.

“It’s okay,” Milo shouted from the kitchen. “It’s just Samuel.”

  “I'm coming down.”

“There’s no need. Give us a minute.”

Daniel knew the tone of voice. It was his, ‘do what I say or else’ tone. “Fine!”

Daniel knew by now Milo and Samuel had some sort of special bond between them. Samuel shared things with him which he wouldn’t with Daniel. They talked about other things, still hard and deep issues, but Daniel knew he got the semi skimmed version and Milo got full fat.

He laid in bed for half
an hour, impatiently waiting for them to come back upstairs. What the hell was going on? Daniel had been going through the list of things they should be doing in bed when he sat up, cock half hard and patience gone.

He walked slowly downstairs, being careful not to make too much noise. He didn’t know what had happened, and despite his mind being in the gutter, he still wanted to make sure everything was okay. Milo wasn’t too good with the soft things. Samuel may need him now.

“Mil—” Daniel stopped at the door to the sitting room when he saw Milo’s practically naked body behind Samuel, both of them standing in the middle of the room, and looking like a wet dream come to life. Samuel’s creamy skin was against Milo’s dark, his back pressed against Milo’s hairy chest. “Is everything okay?” Daniel cleared the frog from his throat and met Milo’s eyes. Oh, he was turned on too.

Milo stood back, his cock hard beneath the towel, and covered his face with his hands. Samuel shook when he stepped away, and Daniel’s brain kicked into the right gear and he moved forwards. “Samuel, are you okay?”

“I'm okay now.” Samuel wouldn’t look at him and when Daniel drifted his gaze down to his crotch, he could see why. Milo wasn’t the only one turned on. “I'm going back to bed after I get a drink. You two can go up. I'm alright.”

Milo and Daniel stared at each other, and then Milo walked past him, holding their look all the way. “We need to talk,” he whispered into Daniel’s ear.

Daniel nodded and let him leave, then moved to Samuel in the kitchen. “Sweetheart, it’s okay.”

Samuel shook his head and sighed heavily. “He didn’t do anything wrong. Don’t blame him for this. All he did was hold me.”

Yeah, that’s all it took though. Daniel just didn’t see how much Milo wanted Samuel until then. “Well, I understand. Your body reacts when you don’t mean it to.” He cast his eyes over the expanse of naked flesh Samuel had on show. The only clothing he had on was a pair of Daniel’s old sweatpants, and they hung so low on his slender hips that they showed the beginning of the curve of his arse. He made Daniel hard from across the room, so being against him, feeling his warmth and enjoying being touched—Daniel took a deep breath and rubbed his eyes. He had to make sure of one thing though.

“Did you want him to touch you?”

Samuel paused, keeping his back to Daniel. “Yes. I wanted to be held by him.”

“But… when he reacted to you… Did you…” Daniel sighed heavily. “I just need to hear that you understood at any point you could have said no, and it would have ended.”

“I knew that. I didn’t want him to stop.” Samuel looked over his shoulder, his hair hiding most of his face, the ends tickling his spine as he moved. “I enjoyed him holding me. You know I did.”

  “Sometimes the body confuses everything.”

“Milo doesn’t want me, it’s you he wants. I only came down here to give you two some privacy.”

“Oh…” Urgh, Samuel had heard them, just like he knew he would do at some point. “I'm sorry, we try to keep it down.”

  “I know.”

  “Thin walls.”

Samuel smiled, twisting his hair in his fingers and leaning up against the fridge. Daniel couldn’t look at him for long periods of time when he was fully dressed, so seeing him look so damn sexy and semi-hard—it made Daniel’s own cock rise up and he had to turn away from him.

  “I have to go.”

“Daniel…” Samuel’s long, cool fingers ran down his back, his body behind him, soft lips on the nape of his neck. “I'm sorry.”

“Don’t be. Honestly, I understand. As long as you’re okay, I'm happy. I’ll, erm… go to bed. See you in the morning.”

“Night.” Samuel’s touch left him and he fought the urge to spin around and hold him, kiss him, push him up against the wall and…

  “Night.”

Daniel practically ran upstairs into the bedroom. He found Milo sitting on the edge of the bed, face in his hands and shoulders hunched. “Milo, this is… It’s difficult for all of us.” Daniel crawled onto the bed, pressing his chest to Milo’s back and hugging him. “It’s okay.”

“It’s not, Danny. It’s far from okay.”

“You were turned on when you went downstairs, seeing him look so fucking good was bound to do something to you. Seeing you holding him like that had me hard in a second, so holding him… Milo, don’t beat yourself up about this. He was okay.”

“I know he was. You thought I took advantage of him?” Milo shoved Daniel from him and laid down.

  “I know you didn’t.”

“You still checked though. I heard you.”

“Just like you, I feel bad for even thinking about these things. I saw how he wanted you, Milo. I just had to hear him say it was alright.”

“We have to talk to him. I mean seriously talk to him about this. We have to sort this out, or at least give him the option of moving out.”

“Moving out? We talked about that. He’s not leaving.”

“At least give him the chance to decide about it, Daniel. If we don’t, then how are we any different from the men who held him captive before? Have you even thought about that? It’s not that different really.”

Daniel kneeled open mouthed, looking down at Milo. “You seriously think we’re on par with those fuckers? Seriously, Milo?”

Milo closed his eyes and shook his head, but the thought wouldn’t leave either of them alone, and Daniel was even more confused and hurt thinking about it.

“I’ve always given him a choice.”

“Not about this. And with us two so messed up around him, it’s messing him up too. All he’s ever known is how to keep alive, to do what he has to do to survive. This could be his way of keeping alive, of keeping us happy and him with us. He says he’s not confused, but come on, he has to be, Daniel.”

Daniel laid next to Milo and both of them stared into the darkness for a long time until Daniel eventually spoke. “We’ll talk to him tomorrow. I have the next two days off. It gives us time to resolve this.”

“Okay. After breakfast, we’ll talk. Then I have to go into the office and meet up with Dalton and CID. They want more information from Samuel. Mainly about the big guys. Anything he can tell us about what happened there, not just about him, more about if he heard anything, saw anything. Places he went to where we can place undercover officers.”

“You want to do all that after we tell him we’re both too turned on to think straight and he may have to move out?”

Milo groaned, but he turned and took Daniel in his arms. “There’s never going to be a good time for this. We don’t have to mention how we want him, just that he has the option to move out if he wants it. If he has the option, and he wants it, then that’s proof enough for me we’re doing something he doesn’t want us to do with him.”

  Chapter 20

The house Milo and Daniel brought him to visit was one of hundreds that looked alike. Row after row of terrace houses with no gardens, all with the same feel to them, like they weren’t homes, just a place to stay until something better came along, or until they got chucked out for not paying the rent.

He walked around the sitting room and kitchen, both small and neat, but bare from life and anything personal. This is where he would be living if he took up the offer of protective custody. He’d have a strange police officer or two sharing with him. Not Milo. He said he would visit, but Daniel couldn’t, just in case.

He had no idea how long they planned to keep him here or what would happen afterwards, but the thought of being here even for one night freaked him out. He didn’t want to leave Daniel’s home. He didn’t want to leave Daniel… or Milo. This place felt less secure than where he’d been, and the two men who he trusted helped with that.

“How long would I have to stay here?” Samuel moved back the curtain and looked up and down the road at the front of the house.

Milo moved behind him, laying a heavy hand on his shoulder. “I’d say definitely until the
y were arrested. But then the trial will take time. During that they would be looking for the key witness. We’d have others by then, but they’d want you, Samuel.”

  “That could take ages.”

“You wouldn’t have to stay here. We could move you away, give you a new name, let you live a more normal life, but you’d still have to be watched, Princess.”

Daniel slumped into one of the chairs and met Samuel’s eyes. He didn’t like this place either. “You don’t have to do this.”

Samuel nodded, but he could feel how tense Milo was next to him, and he was sure it was Milo who’d asked for him to move out. They’d been stupid, and Samuel had pushed him too far. He looked up into the beautiful brown eyes watching him closely, and felt a deep ache in his chest.

“I know you’re scared, Samuel, but you’d be looked after here. I promise you’d be safe.” Milo’s thick finger traced the soft skin on Samuel’s shoulder as they talked.

“It’s just an option for you.” Daniel moved to them by the window, leaning against the wall. “No one’s forcing you to move from my place. I don’t want you to go.”

  “Daniel!”

“Milo, this isn’t right. He should be with us.”

“It doesn’t matter what we want. This is Samuel’s decision.” Milo stepped closer, Samuel’s back now making contact with his chest just like the night before, one of his hands holding his hip a little too tightly.

Samuel reached out and placed his hand on Daniel’s chest, looking between the two men who he cared about and trusted more than any other living person. “Neither of you want me to go?”

“No!” They both answered together and Samuel smiled.

“I thought you did.” Samuel looked back to Milo and saw a dark look pass over his eyes before he shook his head. “Are you sure?”

“I’m sure. Even after last night, I still don’t want you to be apart from us.”
