“Yes! You’re that freak! The creepy one who abducted me,” she said.

Jac jumped to his feet. “Oh, I know what this is,” he said. “It’s your blood,” he turned to see Daniel’s jaw drop, “well, I had to use it to save her.”

“Save me?” she asked, sitting up.

“Oh, she’s oblivious,” Jac smiled. “Come here, I have an idea.” He sat down on her bed, and she budged away, he rolled his eyes and prodded her hard at the centre of her forehead.

  “Ow!” she frowned.

“Well, she doesn’t remember any of your good times, in fact, you’re the bad guy in her eyes,” Jac said.

“Leave. Now!” she batted her hands at either side of her on her bed, and the building shook. “Go!”

  “What… can she?” Daniel asked.

Jac glanced from Mia to Daniel. “Looks like it.”

“We can’t leave if she’s like us now, she’ll just be dangerous,” Daniel said, trying to look into Mia’s eyes, but the look behind her eyes was cold, and unmoving.

“Fine,” Jac said, prodding Mia in the middle of her forehead again. Her head fell and rolled around on her neck. “She can sleep it out.”

“What are we going to do about her?”

“Keep her under control. That’s what we’re going to do.”
