One after another, Jiao Dragons formed within the clouds, looming in the overcast sky with their traces of their enormous bodies dipping beneath the clouds from time to time.

  The scenery in the sky was incredibly shocking. On the hills of Yanming Mountain, the monsters were stunned and their faces became filled with fear, their eyes flared in abject terror.

  Hu hu hu——

  The dreadful Jiao Dragons extended out their heads from the thunderous lightning clouds, their humongous heads hovered above the hills and their eyes burned with a blazing fire like miniature suns.

  “Treasures….”

  Zhong Yue spoke, and so did the dreadful Jiao Dragons. Their deep voices reverberated throughout the hills. Gazing at the monsters on the hills, his voice was low, deep, and ferocious, “All of the monsters in Yanming Mountain, are all now the belongings of Master Long’s. You are all Master Long’s slaves. A single thought, and Master Long can remove your heads from a thousand miles away; a single step, and Master Long can stride over the mountains and seas, making short work of capturing you, regardless of which corner of the world you are hiding in. Master Long’s prowess and strength are beyond your puny imagination, yet you dare to steal Master Long’s treasures!”

  The monsters shuddered in fear, some of them even knelt down with their knees on the ground, and they released the treasures they had plundered. The Jiao Dragons then reached out its claws to reclaim the stolen treasures before turning around and leaving.

  “The four of them are your master’s trusted subordinates!”

  Zhong Yue’s psyche moved, he projected the images of the four young ladies into mid-air so that all the monsters could see clearly. is voice trembled the air, “From now on, all of the minor and major matters will be handled by them, their wishes are your master’s commands!”

  The monsters were frightened, they bowed and nodded in understanding.

  Zhong Yue then reigned in his powers and turned to the four young ladies who were stunned, “I’ve matters to attend to, I don’t know when will I come back yet. All of the land of a thousand miles away from Yanming Mountain will be in the hands of you four to manage. All of the rules and customs will be the same as Falcon Ridge.”

  The four young ladies were surprised and thrilled, but they were also a little frightened at the same time. They feared that they might not be able to suppress the wild and barbarous monsters. Zhong Yue took out the scarlet Coral Tree and passed it over to them “This Coral Tree has been tempered by your master for many months. Therein lurks a slight surge of spirituality. If the monsters ravage and wreak havoc on this land, then manipulate the Coral Tree and worship your master to your aid. I’ve hidden the Coral Sword Qi in the tree, when you call for me, my Sword Qi will then come out and partake in some of their blood.”

  After Zhong Yue had finished all his arrangements, he then spread his wings behind him and soared into the sky.

  The four young ladies watched as he left, Xia’er mumbled, “Master is getting stronger….”

  Not long later, Zhong Yue arrived at the Gu Xia City. He searched and found Yu Xuanji and Hu Qimei. The three of them grouped up and traveled together. Yu Xuanji was manipulating a small skiff that was seventy feet long so there was plenty of room for the three of them to sit in the cabin without feeling cramped.

  The skiff hovered into the air, water currents emerged out of nowhere beneath the skiff and lifted it up. It was as smooth and steady as a skiff that floated on a still river Like this, they proceeded to fly over to Xian Kong Saint City.

  “Xin Huo, I have two spirits now, the sun spirit and moon spirit. The sun spirit has already coalesced with my soul, advancing to the level of Rebirth. And since the sun spirit has already merged with my soul, how will the moon spirit be able to work along with my soul?”

  On the skiff, Zhong Yue suddenly remembered something very important. He then beseeched Xin Huo, “The coalescence of soul and my Yuan Shen resulted into the Great Sun Golden Crow Yuan Shen ... what will it become if I were to merged it with the moon spirit?”

  In his psyche ocean, Xin Huo answered nonchalantly, “Rest assured, you won’t turn into an ugly creature. This is the crux of having a twin spirit, if only one of the two spirits can achieve Rebirth, then it wouldn’t be worthy of the name of twin spirit. And this method, is called the Dual Pupil Technique.”

  My Great Sun Golden Crow is a three-legged, double-winged, and bird-headed humanoid figure of the Sun God, and what will the Star Moon Jade Yuan Shen look like?

And as for the entirety of the Eastern Barren, such losses would not be enough to impair their overall strength to any significant degree.

  Rays flashes in Zhong Yue’s eyes as he thought to himself, The monsters are so much stronger than us humans. Thankfully, their infighting and power struggles monster race are equally intense. They are like a sheet of loose sand. One saint, three islands, four keeps and six cities – govern their own lands and each have conflicting interest against one another. Otherwise, if the monsters can come together and merge forces as one, I’m afraid that the Great Wilderness would be crushed by them easily. This generation’s City Lord of Xian Kong Saint City is said to be greatly skilled and proficient in strategy. It just might be that he would be able to merge the strengths of the monster race together.   Converging the spirit of the Great Sun Golden Crow into his left eye was very arduous, it required an exceptionally strong soul.   In addition, his atman was not the three-legged bird-winged celestial being anymore, he had visualized the Sui Sovereign and morphed into the dragon-headed snake-tailed humanoid figure of the Sui Sovereign, so that he could augment his soul and push its strength to the highest peak it could possibly go to!

  “Brat Yue, whether it be the moon spirit or the sun spirit, they are all external powers coalescing with the soul, and the coalescence is usually done with the spirit as the dominant lead. But the soul is the root of the Yuan Shen, when the soul gets stronger, so will the Yuan Shen. That’s why you will have to let the soul rule over the spirit, and not the other way around!”

  Xin Huo then continued, “Visualizing the Sui Sovereign has incredible effects in strengthening your soul and Yuan Shen, something that the sun spirit and moon spirit can never be able to compare to. Converging the sun spirit and moon spirit into your eyes, to become the master of your spirits’ powers ... this will be your capital in surpassing the others!”

  Zhong Yue mustered every vestige of available energy he had and pulled his Great Sun Golden Crow into his soul’s left eye, trying his best in converging the Golden Crow spirit’s power. After two or three days, in the left eye of his soul, an aureate halo was faintly glowing, it was like a golden pupil.

  He had already converged most of the Great Sun Golden Crow’s power into his soul’s left eye, and the left eye now had dual pupils – a black pupil enshrouding around another golden pupil. He was tiptoeing on the precipice of life and death in his initial foray into the soul and spirit coalescence with the sun spirit.   Just as he was thinking about it, he suddenly felt two surges of strong auras following by the sounds of powers clashing into one another. Almost simultaneously, Yu Xuanji and Hu Qimei also felt the auras, and they quickly looked over.

  In the mountains, monstrous Qi billowed vigorously, two monster Qi Practitioners stood amid the monstrous clouds. They appeared to be battling in the mountains, one of them donned in an ocean blue colored robe, her beautiful hair fluttered in the wind as she manipulated a gourd-shaped soul weapon. Monstrous Qi gushed out from the gourd and amid the overcast monstrous Qi. A multi-armed celestial being with only its upper half body emerged, its arms were miles long and in which were grasped different soul weapons whisking away in a ferocious flurry of attacks trying to slash and lacerate her opponent ceaselessly ... it was astoundingly strong!

  Meanwhile, the other monster Qi Practitioner cast out his own atman. Clearly, he had his own fortunes as well, the spirit he manifested was not one of the monster gods typically worshipped by the monster race, but rather, the spirit of a demon god – a demon spirit!

  The spirit of demon god had four heads and eight arms, on every palm was an eye, and the heads only had a mouth and were devoid of eyes and ears.

  The demon god spirit was sixty feet high, standing behind the black-robed monster Qi Practitioner. It was refined to the point where it almost materialized into a physical object. It opened its arms and swung them around, whenever the fingers spread out and the palms opened, a powerful ray would be blasted from the demon eyes sitting in its palms!

  Meanwhile, the blue-robed Qi Practitioner had an exquisite soul weapon and manipulated it to manifest the totem carvings in the gourd into the multi-armed celestial being. The two Qi Practitioners fought a bone-rattling battle!
