  Zhong Yue laughed in spite of himself, he praised in his heart and admired Feng Xiaozhong even more.

  Feng Xiaozhong made use of Bi Xie Celestial Emperor and gravely injured Shi Tuo, he then went head on against the wounded demon god and even succeed in taming Shi Tuo. Such means were far beyond the level of any other Qi Practitioners, Feng Xiaozhong’s capabilities were really incredible.

  Feng Xiaozhong was placid, he said nonchalantly, “Shi Tuo has many secrets on him indeed, I learned a great deal while researching him. Which is also why I can cultivate my Yuan Shen to the Pure Yang state so quickly and easily. However, there is nothing in the Ancestral Star that can rile up my interest anymore. Thus, I come for the teleportation portal you speak of in this Celestial Fire Star, one that will teleport me to the Zi Wei Divine Court.”

  Zhong Yue’s heart tensed up, the teleportation array formation on the Celestia Fire Star was just nonsense he spoke to temporarily control Feng Xiaozhong’s madness in the days before. Zhong Yue was afraid that Feng Xiaozhong would lose control of his sanity and that’s why Zhong Yue told him there was a teleportation portal that could send him out to explore the endless universe.

  Although Xin Huo did tell Zhong Yue there was a teleportation array formation on the Celestial Fire Star, it was just a piece of information that came from the ancient days. No one, including Xin Huo, knew if the teleportation array formation on the Celestial Fire Star was still here or not.

  If the teleportation formation really didn’t exist anymore, then Zhong Yue could bet on his life that Feng Xiaozhong would surely turn mad, and by then, not even the gods could foresee what Feng Xiaozhong would do!

  But there was one thing that Zhong Yue knew for sure —— Feng Xiaozhong would surely capture him for research!

  “Cough, Senior Martial Brother Feng, did you find the teleportation portal?" Zhong Yue said, his voice was somehow lacked confidence.

  He only asked Fang Jiange, Gu Hongzi and the others to leave first because he knew that Feng Xiaozhong was here for the teleportation portal.

  Since Feng Xiaozhong bumped into Zhong Yue, there was no doubt he wouldn’t let Zhong Yue leave without finding the teleportation array formation. It’ll be fine if they actually found it, but if they couldn’t, then even Fang Jiange, Gu Hongzi and the others would be in deep trouble.

  “I’ve just arrived as well and bumped into you before I start searching around." Feng Xiaozhong shook his head, his eyes were clear like crystals as he said, “Since Junior Martial Brother Zhong knows of this teleportation portal, you must know where it is too, right?”

  Zhong Yue cleared his throat continuously while Shi Tuo stared intently at him. Suddenly, Shi Tuo sneered coldly and said, “What does he know?! Even I didn’t know there was a teleportation array formation here in the Celestial Fire Star, how could he possibly know? This brat is just speaks nonsense all day long, it’s clear that he is just bullshitting you. In my opinion, it’s better if you just dissect him, just like how you dissected me, one cut after another…”

  Zhong Yue gritted his teeth, letting out a angry laugh as he said, “What a pity I didn’t get to see how Senior Martial Brother Feng dissected you ‘one cut after another’. Senior martial brother, why don’t you show me how you did it?”

  Shi Tuo shouted back in anger, “Brat, I’ll dissect you into pieces now!”

  Feng Xiaozhong said softly, “Please, calm down, the two of you. If Junior Martial Brother Zhong is really fooling around with me, I will naturally dissect him even without you telling me.”

  Shi Tuo calmed down and smirked, he glanced at Zhong Yue disdainfully and said, “I’ve been here before when I was still alive, my psyche scanned through every single part of this Celestial Fire Star and there wasn’t even the tiniest trace of a teleportation array formation. Now I’m here again, I’ve re-scanned the whole place and the result is still the same. Brat, you are destined to be dissected!”

  Zhong Yue lamented in his heart but remained calm on the outside, he laughed while he replied, “Don’t take as though everyone is as useless as you, just because you can’t find it doesn’t mean it isn’t here.”

  Feng Xiaozhong’s eyes brightened up and he said, “May junior martial brother enlighten me then.”

  Zhong Yue furtively asked the little flame in his psyche ocean, “Xin Huo, where is the teleportation array formation in the Celestial Fire Star?”

  “Just right below you all." Xin Huo answered.

  “Right below us?" Zhong Yue startled, he looked down and saw them standing on a reddish desert. He gushed his psyche out deep into the Celestial Fire Star but still couldn’t find anything.

  Shi Tuo watched as Zhong Yue scanned around the environment, he smirked frigidly and said, “Hmm, I think you’d taste good when roasted, after you are dissected into pieces!”

  Cold sweat was on the verge of bursting out of Zhong Yue’s forehead and even Feng Xiaozhong was staring at him curiously.

  “Xin Huo, there isn’t any teleportation array formation beneath us!”

  Xin Huo was puzzled as he heard Zhong Yue’s question, he answered, “No, it is here, it can’t possibly disappear. This array formation was built back in the days of the Sui Sovereign era. It is a grand path known as the Imperial Road of the Heavenly Monarch. The endpoint of this Heavenly Monarch Imperial Road is the Celestial Fire Star, the whole star is made into the teleportation array formation…”

  “The whole star … made as an array formation…?" Zhong Yue was bewildered, his regained his thoughts a few moments later and he exclaimed, “You mean, the whole Celestial Fire Star is an array formation? The Celestial Fire Star, is the teleportation array formation?”

  “Of course!" Xin Huo said, “It’s the planet itself; but when activated, it will then be a teleportation array formation. Back in the ancient days, the Heavenly Monarch Sui Sovereigns would often come back to the Ancestral Star, without a strong teleportation portal, how can it withstand the Heavenly Monarch’s carriage, concubines, guards and servants?”

  Zhong Yue was shocked, he looked to the far end of the horizon of the Celestial Fire Star, and his heart thumped even harder than before.

  A whole planet that was made into a teleportation array formation just to serve the Heavenly Monarchs!

  “Brat, if you don’t tell us where the teleportation portal is at, I guess the only way out for you is to be dissected!" Shi Tuo grinned and gloated happily.

  Zhong Yue, however, was placid, he replied, “Relax, if I said I will find it, then I will.”

  “Hei hei, let’s see then, what will you do when you can’t find it!" Shi Tuo laughed loudly as he said.

  Chapter 526: The Path Beneath |

  Zhong Yue glanced at the Celestial Fire Star in awe, No wonder none of us can find where the teleportation array formation is. The whole place is the teleportation array formation! Imperial Path of the Heavenly Monarch, the Heavenly Monarch’s Imperial Path … how magnificent…

  “Xin Huo, how do you activate it?" Zhong Yue then asked.

  Xin Huo pondered deeply before answering, “In the Celestial Fire Star, there is an activation point to the array formation, I don’t know if it’s still here. When the activation point is triggered, the whole Celestial Fire Star will turn into the teleportation array formation.”

  “Where is this activation point?" Zhong Yue asked.

  Xin Huo thought and said, “The geography of the Celestial Fire Star now is different to before. Open your divine third eye and let me look around.”

  Zhong Yue opened his divine third eye and scanned the surrounding area.

  Shi Tuo was laughing as he said, “Brat, your divine eye is good but no matter how far you look, you won’t be able to stare a teleportation array formation. I also searched many times but couldn’t even find a single chicken feather, let alone a huge array formation!”

  “That mountain," Xin Huo glanced around through Zhong Yue’s vision and pointed out the tallest mountain on the Celestial Fire Star, he
smiled and said, “That mountain is the core of the teleportation array formation. Just press it into the Celestial Fire Star and the array formation will be activated. It seems like although I slept for such a long time, the Celestial Fire Star had yet to be destroyed. This teleportation array formation is most probably still functional.”

  Zhong Yue looked over at the 30,000 feet tall mountain that took up a radius of over a thousand miles. It wouldn’t be easy to press it into the Celestial Fire Star.

  Zhong Yue strode toward the mountain while Feng Xiaozhong followed behind him. Shi Tuo was still laughing at him, “Brat, you want to go to that mountain? It is truly an amazing mountain but there is nothing there.”

  Zhong Yue moved to the foot of the mountain, raising his head and staring at the tip of the mountain, praising the magnificence of the ancient gods.

  Shi Tuo searched the place before, and the other gods in the olden days would have been here scanning all over the Celestial Fire Star as well. It could be said that there were secrets that weren’t discovered here in the Celestial Fire Star.

  That being said, would the Celestial Fire Star really have a planet-sized teleportation array formation?

  “Shi Tuo, press the mountain into the Celestial Fire Star." Zhong Yue suddenly said.

  “Just because you asked me to do it, do you think I will? I’m an honorable god, do you think a petty human like you can order me…" Shi Tuo startled for a second and smirked back.

  “Shi Tuo, do as he says." Feng Xiaozhong abruptly ordered from the side.

  Shi Tuo inhaled deeply, he forcibly suppressed his anger and raised his hand up into the sky before pushing the mountain into the groud. He said while laughing, “This is just an ordinary mountain, how can it ever stop a great god like me? If my amazing strength crushes it, don’t blame me for it!”

  Zhong Yue shook his head, he said, “Don’t worry, you won’t crush it.”

  Shi Tuo smirked coldly, he roared and gave all of his strength down on the mountain. The mountain shuddered violently and slowly sank into the ground.

  All of a sudden, Shi Tuo exclaimed in shock as he noticed the oddity of the situation.

  With his complete strength, not even divine mountains would be able to withstand it. Yet this mountain remained wholly intact!

  The mountain didn’t look particularly extraordinary; it wasn’t made of the divine gold nor was it covered in mystical totem patterns. But why was it so hard and durable?

  Thirty thousand feet in height, a thousand miles in radius... it was truly a huge mountain. But when pressured by Shi Tuo’s immense strength, it was really pressed into the ground.

  The demon god swung his hand, irked that he couldn’t crumble the mountain. “I’ve now pushed the mountain down, so where is the teleportation array formation you speak of? Where is it…”

  Before he finished talking, the whole Celestial Fire Star quaked violently and 100-foot pillars rose up from the underground.

  The two humans and one demon flew up into the sky. The whole Celestial Fire Star was covered with dust, and a loud din resounded out from within the planet’s core as if there were gear wheels moving within it.

  The pillars were shaped differently and were aligned randomly. Some of them were joined together and others stood on their own rising high above the others. Some of them were engraved with various totem patterns, while others were sculpted like beasts.

  It was truly an amazing view, even the ancient demon god Shi Tuo was dazed, momentarily lost for words…

  For a moment there, Zhong Yue nearly lost control of his urge to step into the teleportation array formation and travel the universe.

  Shame, Feng Xiaozhong can leave but I cannot. We humans are still weak, I am still needed, I still need to fight for our people’s future! Zhong Yue thought in his heart.

  Suddenly, Shi Tuo glanced at Zhong Yue, his eyes were filled with questions and also a slight hint of fear. Even an ancient demon god like him didn’t know the truth of the Celestial Fire Star and yet Zhong Yue knew of it. This couldn’t help but make him suspect Zhong Yue’s origins!

  Feng Xiaozhong was also entertaining some of the same suspicions. Even since long ago, he had already suspected Zhong Yue and was incredibly anxious about Zhong Yue’s Fuxi True Form. He even believed that the Fuxi True Form was more valuable than Shi Tuo.

  And now, Zhong Yue had activated such a magnificent teleportation array formation — a planet-sized array formation. One who could know of such a thing would be at least 50,000 years old, that was a time frame that exceeded the lifespan of even gods.

  Furthermore, there was still a huge piece missing from the cultivation heritage of the Ancestral Star.

  Even when the Bi Xie Celestial Emperor revived, he used a teleportation array formation he left behind in the past life instead of this grand and amazing planet-sized teleportation array formation.

  “Junior Martial Brother Zhong, you seemed to have a lot of secrets on you." Feng Xiaozhong looked at Zhong Yue, he said curiously, “For you to even know of such a teleportation array formation, you origins must not be simple. I’m really regretting my decision of not choosing you over Shi Tuo.”

  Shi Tuo rolled his eyes, he hated Zhong Yue for passing him to Feng Xiaozhong and thus he said, “It’s not too late now. This brat knows a lot, we might as well dissect him here and reap the benefits for ourselves!”

  Feng Xiaozhong shook his head, “I’m a man of my word. If I promised him that I won’t do it, then I won’t. Furthermore, Junior Martial Brother Zhong helped me find this teleportation array formation, I'm indebted to him. It’s not my way to harm those that have helped me.”

  Although Feng Xiaozhong was not evil or good in the traditional sense of the words. He still had his own moral code that he abided by.

  “This is the Imperial Road, the path on which the Heavenly Monarch traveled." Zhong Yue forcibly recollected his thoughts and said, “In ancient times, the Heavenly Monarchs would travel back and forth the Ancestral Star through this Imperial Road.”

  “Imperial Road? Path of the Heavenly Monarch?" Shi Tuo gulped, his eyes were filled with fear and admiration. This was the path where the Heavenly Monarchs of two eras traveled on, just by thinking about it, he was already feeling a little fear of walking into it.

  “Senior Martial Brother Feng, are you leaving now?" Zhong Yue asked. To his surprise, he could sense the slight surge of unwillingness in him. Zhong Yue hoped Feng Xiaozhong would leave the Ancestral Star for as long as possible. But when the time came when Feng Xiaozhong was really going to leave, Zhong Yue found himself a little reluctant to accept the fact.

  “You … aren’t planning to go back and take a last look at things again?" Zhong Yue was silent for a few moments, his voice was bitter as he said, “Come home to Swords Gate, come and say goodbye to the old man.”

  “Home…”

  Feng Xiaozhong mumbled, there had always been a voice shouting in his heart, a sound that he had always silenced in my mind. The voice that had been calling him to return to take a last look at his people, the voice that asked him to say goodbye to his father in front of the old headmaster’s tomb.

  But if he did, when he really would’ve returned and knelt before his father’s tomb. At that point, he wasn’t sure if he would still be able to retain his last vestiges of sanity.

  The road lay in front of him.

  The pillars on the Celestial Fire Star shone bright, and the totem patterns crisscrossed to form a huge teleportation array formation.

  Its lights connected together and shot out a grand light beam into space, blasting through the dimensions.

  The path was beneath him.

  Feng Xiaozhong lowered his head, and a few moments later, he suddenly raised his head back up again. Feng Xiaozhong swung his sleeves, and slowly but solemnly, he knelt on the ground facing toward Zhong Yue.

  Zhong Yue was shocked, he was just going to stop Feng Xiaozhong, but before his muscles respond to his brains commands, an immen
se pressure came from Feng Xiaozhong that stopped him from moving even an inch.

  Dong——

  Feng Xiaozhong bowed down and kowtowed at him.

  Dong——

  He kowtowed three times before standing up again. Immediately, the pressure was lifted off from Zhong Yue as the young man was left puzzled. All of a sudden, Feng Xiaozhong smiled brightly, he said, “Junior Martial Brother Zhong, I’m not going back anymore. These three kowtows, help me deliver them to the old man.”

  Zhong Yue was lost of words, but slowly, he nodded.

  “Xing Tian, Shi Tuo, let’s go.”

  Feng Xiaozhong placed his hands behind his back as he laughed out loud and gallantly strode into the light.

  Chapter 527: Divine Tree of Knowledge |

  “Bye bye, Uncle Zhong!" Xing Tian waved goodbye to Zhong Yue and followed Feng Xiaozhong into the portal.

  “Shi Tuo, send me out of the Celestial Fire Star!” seeing that Shi Tuo was walking into the teleportation portal, Zhong Yue shouted.

  Shi Tuo turned his head back, he smirked and left without answering. Zhong Yue was immediately angered, this Shi Tuo was definitely not going to send him out from the Celestial Fire Star. He wanted Zhong Yue to be unable to return to the Ancestral Star.

  “Shi Tuo, if Junior Martial Brother Zhong can’t go back to the Ancestral Star, then he will have to tag along with us." Feng Xiaozhong suddenly said.

  Shi Tuo stopped, he raised his hand and sent Zhong Yue up into the sky, he said, “The brat is trouble, I can’t kill him nor harm him, I don’t want him anywhere close to me!”

  In the next moment, Zhong Yue was sent out from the Celestial Fire Star. The teleportation beam then shrouded three figures and blasted away into the space.

  Zhong Yue knew that although Feng Xiaozhong’s actions were dreaded by even his own people, he simply couldn’t be regarded as any other ordinary human.

  He had a strong heart and a staunch will. He knew nothing and cared for nothing other than his hunger for knowledge.
