Naked Obsession Page 2

by Rice, Rachel E.

The control she reserved for acquaintances appeared to diminish with every thought of Jeremy. Jeremy was the opposite of Danny. Danny a quiet loving man, Jeremy a reserved man cloaked in his thoughts, a mystery even to her. Why had he never brought a woman to meet them? Why did he hang around Danny and her and never appeared to have friends? Sydney dismissed that as just another lonely artist who couldn’t make friends easily.

A knock on the door raised the level of Jeremy’s pulse. He waited all day to get Sydney alone with him. He would have her to himself now and then he would find out if he could breach the relationship that existed between his brother and Sydney. It was a diabolic idea, but if he won, then he would have Sydney for the rest of his life, whether she was with Danny or not. He didn’t care as long as he had some part of her. Then he would be complete again.

“You’re on time.” He said canvassing her body as chills ran through him.

“I wanted you to be successful, which is the least I can do, even if I think you are crazy to paint me.” Then Sydney smiled, her eyes brightened from the light and Jeremy knew he wanted her more than he could imagine.

“Stand near the window, I need to see how the sun reflects off your skin and eyes. Please hold this glass of wine and let me put on some music. Sydney took the wine and turned to take a sip. Maybe that would keep her heart from racing, she thought. She drank more and soon she felt better. She didn’t remember when he asked her to take off her blouse, but she did. She didn’t remember when Jeremy placed a silk scarf across her naked breast, but he did. She remembers laughing for the first time in months, and giggling like a school girl. And then he said, “Sydney, did you know that Danny will be working with Rachael Warner?” He threw that out to see a reaction.

“He didn’t tell me but I suspect he will be able to handle the situation,” Sydney said with a warm smile.

“The way he handled it in Las Vegas and Houston?”

Sydney peered at Jeremy and walked up to him, then slapped him. It jarred his face and she attempted to cast another blow his way and he caught it in mid air, put her hands behind her back, and held her with both hands as they stared into each others’ eyes. His body so close, she could feel his erection.

Jeremy’s eyes had the serene beauty of Danny’s, so green and so pure, but with the intensity of a hot young man that had been too long without sex and love. Her eyes told a different story. She needed the reassurance of love, and she needed sexual release. Jeremy read her and held her as he kissed her. He kissed her for only a second but that kiss took over her body and sent her into a sexual frenzy.

Both were entering into territory that neither thought about, nor wanted to address at the moment. There was no stopping Jeremy because he knew Sydney could stop him if she wanted. And there was no indication that stopping was in the near future for either. What Jeremy didn’t realize was that Sydney acted because of too much wine.

After kissing Sydney, Jeremy let her lie down. She dropped on to the bed, hard. He passed his fingers through her hair threading it as they moved. She mumbled something. She wanted Danny so much; especially since she heard Rachael Warner would be lurking around.

Jeremy kissed her again and she kissed him with hunger he could not imagine. The music in the background set the stage. Jeremy knew that Sydney had drunk too much wine, but Sydney made that choice, he thought. Her lack of control in her life had not grown stronger, but weaker. She knew she had been unfaithful, but never when they were together and never when she married Danny. She thought he would be unfaithful as well. Sydney’s guilt rationalized Jeremy’s one kiss that would never happen again, she thought.

After drinking more wine, Sydney did not realize that she wasn’t in her own bed and that the man kissing her was not her husband. Jeremy didn’t know that the desire and kisses were not for him.

  * * * *

The visuals of Sydney lying across Jeremy’s bed with her thighs exposed, cause his blood to pump and his whole body to pulsate. His heart beat faster and faster still, and then his heart screamed when he crouched to kiss her lips! Sydney placed her hands on his face without opening her eyes. She passed her finger over his lips and he slowly put his tongue on them.

“My love, when did you arrive?” she said with a breathless moan.

“Don’t talk go back to sleep,” Jeremy whispered into her ear. He was hoping that she would not notice that it wasn’t Danny! He was wishing that she knew it was him, and, even, maybe, her need for love and sex was stronger than her senses. Did Sydney know?

Jeremy began to rationalize the lie he created, and tried to fool his mind to believe that he had a right to his brother’s wife. He wiped away any notion that he could be wrong and proceeded to enter the bed, pulling back the sheets and lying next to her.

Sydney briefly turned to look at his face in the warm dark room, where the moon light loomed over the sky. He removed the sheer pink scarf that covered her breast. He stared for a breathless moment.

He began kissing her breast quickly, softly, quietly, as each nipple rose to meet his lips. Each nipple burst into his mouth like ripe grapes. He was a twin and there were behaviors that were akin to both he and Danny.

Instinctively he knew how to make love to Sydney. Sydney was vulnerable. Jeremy lied to himself to convince himself that she wanted him. He began to creep lower down her body kissing every area until he found what moved her. Jeremy longed to hear her reveal her passion. He kissed her neck; he licked her thighs, and with every sensual moment, his penis pumped harder and stronger.

“Yes, yes, don’t stop. More, more. Yes, yes.” Were the slow, soft moaning of Sydney, so secure that she was in the arms of her loving husband—Danny!

As Jeremy discovered her weakness, she could not resist his kisses. Kissing her breast as each nipple rose with his mouth encircling each red hot protrusion. Then kissing her stomach and licking between her thighs and then the final coup—her clit that he sucked and massaged until she screamed with ecstasy, until she called for more, until she realized that it had to be Jeremy because she opened her eyes, and gazed into his eyes. She had to know, he thought. Then he made sure she was well satisfied, because Danny was not going to take the credit for what he knew he had accomplished.

He became excited from the knowledge of how to penetrate her sexual desires. His breathing became heavy and then he attempted to satisfy himself. He climbed on Sydney’s body—that wonderful full body—the vessel for his life and lust. Jeremy’s body met hers and he plowed into her and released his milk of life until it overflowed and crept down her thighs.

The moon graced the sky in a peaceful, playful arena. Sydney rolled over and felt the sheets sooth her body where she felt like a baby wrapped in a soft blanket. She looked up and saw the large lover’s moon—a Bella Luna.

“Look, a lover’s moon.” Sydney said lying in bed facing the open window.

Danny bought Sydney a villa in Lake Como where she could be at peace to write, and get away from old memories and create new ones. She loved the area and the peace of their lives. Their love-making was so intense and after a year of marriage they could not bear their separation, but Danny wanted to work.

Danny accepted jobs in Europe because Sydney wanted to live in Italy, he was an international star now, and he could work anywhere in the world and live where he desired. He was rich and he wanted to buy Sydney the moon. He could not stop spending money on Sydney and his children, not to forget his brother. If she said a house was beautiful, he bought it. She loved sports cars and on his last trip, he brought home a pair of Ferraris.

Jeremy continued to haunt Danny making him feel guilty about his mother’s death. Danny tried to buy a home for Jeremy but he would not take it because it meant leaving Sydney, and besides, he did not want anything from his brother—only his wife.

Sydney could not sleep well when Danny was not near her. Danny was off in France filming an action movie and was due back soon. Her b
ody was preparing for him, like animals prepare to mate each year. Animals have a natural clock and Sydney had one for Danny. She could feel his approach. It had been that way since she first met Danny, or was it the moon that signaled her desire for him. She was over-come with the heat of passion, and she lay in bed waiting for him, longing for his body in her sleep.

Suddenly Danny appeared to satisfy her wanting. The face is Danny’s face, the body is Danny’s and the green eyes that pierced her body, and soul is Danny’s. However, the man making passionate love to her wasn’t Danny. Jeremy standing over her peered down and reached for her hair. He just wanted one last touch. His mouth began to drip. He salivated once more and then swallowed. The sweat from his brow made a sound in his ear as it fell drip by drip from his forehead pass his eye on his cheek down his neck, on his chest, and on to the sheets.

The cool air came behind the steam of his body and blew the breeze into Sydney’s face and she opened her eyes once more. In the concealment of the night, he felt her body and put his warm lips on hers. She reacted by touching his face, that’s why she first caressed him. It was a trick of nature, the way animals trick their prey.

Jeremy looked on Sydney and into her eyes and in the dark of the night, he touched her body and she responded. Sydney kissed her Danny and allowed him to love her as she drowsily lay enjoying her lover’s touch, feeling excited and happy that Danny desired her as she slept, which made her feel alluring, and heighten her sexual pleasures.

Sydney felt pleased that he wanted her more and more. She could tell it was lust. She enjoyed his lust because she had no doubt that he loved her and a little lust was good for the marriage. She placed her hands over his shaven face and kissed him with a kiss of rapture. The intensity of the kiss, felt but once, but it was a kiss that had the appearance of something new; he placed his tongue into her mouth and thrust it throughout and she took every inch of it sucking on it and moaning— it was a feeling like no other—it was hot! I was naked!

Jeremy’s body melted into hers, as if two rivers converged and flowed into the sea, and became one. When he completed his love-making, he rose, and stood over her once more. She looked into his eyes, as the moon shone brightly and the spotlight graced that handsome face and physique, with muscles cut in his arms, chest, thighs, and legs.

He believed she knew it was him!

She could see that he was surrendering his soul with only a look. Satisfaction and delight crept into her body and Sydney turned and fell further into a deep dark sleep, never questioning her senses and deeply satisfied that Danny had fallen deeply in love with her again.

Jeremy gaze fell on Sydney sleeping soundly. He wrapped her in his sheet. He carried her sleeping body to her villa, up the back stairs that faced the sea, through the doors, down the hall, and laid her in her own bed.

  Chapter 2

  The Awakening

The next morning the sun flowed through the clouds and the fresh sea air washed across Sydney’s face. Sydney lay on her side facing the terrace looking out into the Mediterranean Sea. “Danny come closer and hold me the way you held me last night. I feel sexual when your body is pressed against my butt, and whenever you kiss my back... Danny, Danny…” She brought her hand around her back searching for the wonderful body that had brought her happiness and pleasure.

Turning over, Sydney expected to see Danny sleeping. He was not in bed, so her feet fell into her slippers on the marbled floor, and she rushed to find the signs that he was home.

Sydney knew he had to be home, but the first person she spied was Jeremy, sitting at the kitchen table, looking into a cup of tea as the children poured cereal and held the bowl of milk to their mouths to taste every bit of the sweet milk.

“Mommy, uncle Jeremy fixed breakfast for us, look,” Sean said.

“Thanks Jeremy,” Sydney said puzzled, walking around in a daze and searching through the house.

“Where’s daddy, Sean?” Sydney said with a trembling voice.

  “Daddy’s not home, mommy.”

“He must be; where is he? Someone’s playing a game with me,” she said tickling Sean. Sean shook his head no. “He came home last night,” Sydney stated confused.

“No mommy, only Uncle Jeremy is here, “the twins chimed.

Jeremy never looked up for a moment; he kept his head down like a hungry dog who would not allow someone to take his bone. He couldn’t look Sydney in the eyes because she would discover the secret he was hiding—he made love to her in her drunken state.

The last thing Sydney remembered was going to Jeremy’s room and then she woke in her bed. She was relieved that Danny had finally come home. She could still feel his body. She could still smell the scent of his masculine body. Sydney didn’t say more. She rushed up the stairs.

As Sydney trudged through the house looking behind beds, in closets, and wondering whether someone was playing a joke, the phone rang. Sydney reached for the phone. “Hello.” Her voice sad and distant.

  “Sydney this is your husband.”

  “Danny, where are you?”

“What’s wrong baby? Are the children ok?”

“They’re fine, I... I thought you were coming home.”

“No baby, that’s not possible, I’m in Spain now, and I want you to meet me in Madrid as soon as possible.”

“I don’t have anyone to keep the children, how long will we be in Spain?” Sydney said worried.

“Not long, a few weeks, just get packed and the nanny can stay with the children.”

“She’s on vacation. She left this morning. If only you...” Sydney couldn’t finish the sentence.

“Don’t worry she’ll come back and until then, Jeremy can stay with them until she gets there. Come on Sydney, please; you have never been to Spain,” Danny begged.

“Ok my love, I’ll see you soon.” Sydney wasn’t at all excited about leaving the children because they were still very young. Sean was eight and the twins were only six. However, she felt she could leave them with Jeremy a few hours until the nanny returned. She walked to her bedroom to call the nanny and left Jeremy with the children so she could shower.

Sydney slipped off her robe and turned on the water in the shower. The steam was floating in the room and fog encased the mirror, but there was a corner of the mirror that revealed an eye that resembled Danny. It was Jeremy looking at her as he passed in her secluded section of the large villa. She had forgotten to close the door, however, no one was allowed in her private area, no one but Danny. It was in that room that they engaged in the most private and deliberate sex.

Maybe it was her imagination that caused her to think it was Jeremy, she thought. Maybe it was her unconscious thoughts of Jeremy that made her think of him in such a seductive erotic manner. Why would she even think he would deceive her?

All those terrible thoughts were running through her mind. Why would she think of him in such a manner? He had never done anything to create such horrible ideas that carried her mind away. So, she dismissed the idea and climbed into the shower to wash away her unclean thoughts.

Sydney stood and poured cleansing jell over her skin. The smell of strawberries wafted through the room. The soothing warmth of the water calmed her body. As she touched her breast, they were tender and they hurt. She remembered the orgasm she had last night. It was a feeling she would not long forget. It was so intense that she could not forget, and yet for a few minutes she did. Now she was remembering that it was not Danny because he was away. It could not be a dream because her body felt the pressure of another body.

She washed and washed, but the feeling of disgust intensified. So she washed some more! The mind of a crazy woman seized her hands and she began to scrub all of her body from her head to her toes. Nothing could get rid her of what she thought she felt.

The exhaustion of trying to clean her body overtook her, stepping out of the shower, she stood in front of a mirror. Her hands shook, her head pound, she put her hands to her head to stop the pounding. Her mout
h opened and no sound came out. She wanted something to come through her lips. Sydney had to clear her emotions. She had to scream. Sydney forced the tears from her eyes. Tears slivered down her cheeks. She cried all the tears she was storing for that day, but she did not feel better, and she could not cleanse her body and soul. Her body could not stand anymore of her feeling sorry for itself.

She had to confess, but not to a priest. She called Heather. She wanted to document just what had happened to her that summer night in July, under a Bela Luna—A Lover’s Moon.

  “Hello… Heather, this is Sydney.”

“I know who it is? I would know your voice in a Hurricane. Something is wrong with you Sydney. What is it?”

“I think I got drunk and let Jeremy make love to me.”

“No, Sydney, don’t say that if it’s not true. You never drink. What made you take a drink?” Heather’s questions came fast.

“But it’s true, and I don’t know what to do,” Sydney said with a cracked voice.

“Were you on any birth control?”

“No, we were planning to have more children. You know Danny wanted a large family.”

“Oh shit, then we are in trouble.” Heather was so close to Sydney that when she talked about Sydney it was her, as if she was feeling and experiencing what Sydney was facing.

“You said you thought you made love to him?” Heather questioned in disbelief.

  “It’s a long story Heather.”

“I have nothing better to do.”

“I can’t tell you now. Jeremy is in the house and he may be listening. I have to meet Danny in Spain, so before I arrive in Spain I am going to tell you everything. I don’t know what to do. I’m afraid Danny won’t believe me and he will blame me for what happened last night.”
