Angels Die Hard: A Motorcycle Club Erotic Romance

“I just wanted to ask you if you would go to the barbeque with me.”
“The one that the bikers are hosting?”
“That’s the one. Brennen invited me, but I don’t want to go on my own and he said I could bring a friend with me. Do you mind coming with me?”
“Yeah, when is it?”
“Tomorrow.”
“Not a problem. See you then.” Frank hung up the phone and Kirra tossed hers back on the sofa with a smile. At least if something did go wrong with Brennen or any of the other men at the barbeque then at least she would have Frank there to protect her.

Brennen reclined back in the leather chair and surveyed the club before him. It had taken him seven years, but he’d finally worked his way to the top. He’d given flesh and blood to this club and it finally paid off.
He watched as his club bought in the last of the deal they’d just landed. Crystal meth was in high demand in the small town and his club, for the past 20 years, had been supplying the local community. Of course it wasn’t without its troubles.
Talking of trouble. The last of the boxes had just been loaded onto the truck when the police came knocking on the door. Brennen heaved himself from the chair and opened the door to the two burly policemen.
“What can I do for you today, Officers?” Brennen leaned against the doorframe and held his sigh in. They got a visit from the police at least twice a week.
“You know why we’re here, Brennen.”
“Well, have you got a search warrant? Last I checked you need one of them, doughnut dudes.” Brennen winked at the couple and chuckled as their faces turned pink with rage.
“No, but—”
“Come back when you have a search warrant then.” Brennen slammed the door in their face and headed back to his chair. They never managed to get a search warrant for the place. The more than likely reason being that the Sheriff’s son was a meth addict and his father was the one footing the bill for his son’s pricey addiction.
His thoughts drifted back to Kirra as the men rustled about in the club, playing pool and setting up card games. She seemed skittish around him but he was sure he would be able to fix that situation once she was in his arms. While his thoughts were consumed by Kirra they weren’t completely on the sexual train. He found himself wondering what it would be like to wake up next to her each day, to see her beautiful smile every day.
Brennen sighed before leaning his head back on the chair. He didn’t need this distraction. Kirra was a conquest set up by the men of his club. They said he wouldn’t be able to get her to agree to go on a date with him, but he’d somehow managed. He’d take Kirra on the date and then forget about her. He’d worked too hard for this position to let some girl ruin it for him.

“Where do you think you’re going, missy?”
“Study group, father.” Kirra kept her head down as she held the books in front of her stomach. Her father had been drinking again. She could smell it as soon as she walked in from school today.
“No you’re not. Put your books away and cook me my supper.” Kirra heard a bottle slam on the table and she held her sigh in. She put her books on the counter before turning to the refrigerator. She needed to do what she was told otherwise her ribs would be aching more than they already where.
Her father wasn’t a stupid man. He knew where to hit where it hurt the most and he knew when to hit her. He never hit her the week she was due to see the school counselor, he never hit her when she had PE and he never hit her when he knew family was coming around.
Unfortunately for her neither of those things was happening this week. It was best that she kept her head down and did what she was told to do. She placed her father’s meal on the table a few moments later and gasped in shock when her wrist was grabbed.
“What the fuck do you call this?”
“Supper.”
“It looks like horse shit.” Her father picked the plate up and tossed it at her. She grunted in pain as the hot gravy splashed her shirt and soaked through the fabric to burn her skin. She whimpered when her father stood up and grabbed her by the hair.
“You’re worthless and pathetic. You’re never going to become anything.” A knee landed in her ribs and she fell to the floor, gasping and clutching her ribs in pain. Eight years she’d been putting up with this. Since she was ten years old she had been beaten black and blue.
Just hold on until graduation. Then she could leave. She could leave this town and become something. She whimpered as she was kicked in the stomach. Just a couple more months. Just a couple more months and she was free.
Kirra woke up with a scream lodged in her throat. She looked around her small apartment and felt a smile stretch over her face. It was only a nightmare. Everything was going to be okay. She’d been away from her father for two years; she needed to start looking forward and not back. She needed to start with her date with Brennen.

Brennen turned the ignition off and waited outside the bar for Kirra. He had tried to insist that he pick her up at her home but she assured him waiting outside Denny’s was perfectly fine.
Brennen frowned when he thought about the way he’d asked her out. He didn’t technically say it was a date. Maybe she thought it was just a friend asking a friend. Dear God, he hoped not. He didn’t think he could deal with being friend zoned by such a beauty. He was confident in himself that he wouldn’t get friend zoned by her.
His head swung to the other side of the road when he heard a feminine laugh. He almost gasped out loud at the sight of Kirra standing on the other side of the road. She was wearing a light blue, strapped dress which stopped just above her knees and flared out to reveal her curves. And boy did she have curves in the right places.
The dress pushed her breasts up and her hips were more pronounced. Brennen had to take a few deep breaths before getting out of the car. He didn’t want to meet Kirra with a raging erection in his jeans.
Kirra spotted him across and waved. Brennen couldn’t stop the smile that spread across his face. Her dark hair was loose around her shoulders which made a delightful change to the bun she usually tied it up in. Brennen was opening the door when he finally noticed the two other men with her.
“Brennen, this is Frank and Shaun.”
“Nice to meet you.” Brennen held his hand out and Frank gave a good sharp handshake, the same with Shaun. When Brennen said Kirra could bring a friend he was expecting it to be a female friend and only one but instead here stood two men.
Shaun held himself in a way that was unfamiliar to Brennen but he refused to think of why. He just hoped that these two men were only Kirra’s friends and nothing more. It wasn’t that he was worried about the challenge because he did love a challenge but he would prefer not having to fight for her affections.
“You look stunning,” Brennen commented as he helped Kirra to the front of his car. She did. She looked like an angel had walked straight from the apartment across the road and landed in his car and hopefully in his bed eventually.
“Thank you.” Kirra blushed and ducked her head as Brennen closed the door. He was hoping already that she he would be seeing more of her and their first date hadn’t even fully begun yet.
***
Kirra was amazed at the amount of people that had managed to crowd into the garden behind the fire station. Apparently Red Hearts had helped the local crew with a situation a few months earlier and were in their debt. Kirra looked down at her hand intertwined with Brennen’s.
It wasn’t the first time she’d held hands with a man but it felt different somehow. She wasn’t sure why but she felt safe with Brennen. She knew nothing bad was going to happen to her while she was with him. He made her feel comforted and protected for the first time in her twenty years.
“Earl, nice to see you. How’s the family?” Brennen shook hands with an older man with a rounded stomach. This was the seventh person that Brennen had said hello to since they got there
. It would usually annoy her but with Brennen it just made him all the more intriguing. The man was usually cocky and full of himself when he was with his group or on his own but as soon as he was put around older people and people he had known for a while he changed completely.
“Polly is doing fine, little Annie started school this week. They grow up so fast.” Earl looked away and Brennen patted him on the shoulder before saying something about needing to talk to someone. Kirra followed him to a shaded bit and frowned when he dropped her hand.
“I’ve been waiting to do this for hours.” Brennen reached up and gently cradled one side of her face in his hands. Her heart galloped in her chest as he used his other hand to hook around her waist and pull her flush to his body. The thumb that was on her face was slowly stroking her cheek as Brennen looked down at her with those blue eyes.
This was it. She was going to kiss him. She was going to kiss the man she had been fantasizing about for the past few days. Her mouth had suddenly gone dry so she licked her lips to try and gather moisture for the kiss.
Brennen groaned quietly and finally ducked his head to skim his lips across hers. She felt him pull his head back slightly, like he was going to break the kiss. She moaned and tangled her hands in his dark hair to keep his mouth on hers. Brennen moved the hand on her face and placed it with the hand that was on her waist.
Kirra tensed up a few moments, waiting for the horrible groping that usually came when someone kissed her but was relieved when it didn’t come. Brennen moved their mouths apart slightly enough for them to breathe as he slowly walked her back to lean against the tree.
Kirra opened her mouth just enough so Brennen was able to slid his tongue inside. She gasped as Goosebumps popped up on her skin. Her last boyfriend had never caused such a pleasant reaction in her body. What if Brennen didn’t like her inexperience? She had only left home just over two years ago and had only had one boyfriend in all of her years. Brennen might like women who have experience.
“Kirra? Are you alright? Did I do something wrong?” Brennen was looking down at her and she realized that she’d stopped kissing him. Her face flushed again and she looked down at their hands that were twined together again.
“No, you didn’t do anything wrong. I was just over-thinking. I’m sorry.” Kirra looked up and Brennen had a wicked smile on his face.
“Well, if you were over-thinking I guess I obviously wasn’t doing a good enough job, was I?” Brennen smirked at her, his eyes glittering with mischief.
“You were—”she was cut off what she was going to say by Brennen replacing his mouth over hers again. Kirra smiled against the lips that were dueling with hers and gave herself over to the big man.
***
Brennen swept his tongue inside Kirra’s mouth once again and caught her as she pushed away from the tree to rest her whole body weight on him. He had no trouble holding her slight weight, while she was curvy in all the right places she didn’t weigh hardly anything.
He removed his lips from hers again to catch the well-needed breath and smiled at Kirra’s face. Her eyes were hooded and glazed over; her mouth was swollen and slightly red around the edge from his stubble.
“We should get back to the others,” Brennen reluctantly announced. He didn’t want to release the beauty in his arms but knew he should return. Kirra frowned before looking over shoulder at the party that was happening.
“Why don’t we just find somewhere more private?” Kirra said so quietly Brennen wasn’t sure that he’d actually heard it correctly. She was still looking over her shoulder at the party.
“Look me in the eyes and tell me that’s what you want, Kirra. I refuse to take advantage of you. I may be cocky, but I don’t abuse women.”
“It’s not taking advantage if I’m asking for it.” Kirra finally turned her head back around and looked him in the eyes, a shy smile on her face.
“Kirra—”
“Brennen, I may have only been with one man, but that doesn’t mean I don’t know what I want. I want you.”
Kirra had only been with one man. His blood boiled with jealousy at the same time it bubbled with happiness that she hadn’t slept around the block like most of the women in this town. He smiled at her before reaching for her hand again. If this was what she wanted then who was he to ignore her request?
“Are you one hundred percent sure?”
“I’ve never been so sure in my whole life.” Kirra stood on her tip-toes to kiss him and Brennen was hard pressed to stop it, but he managed to find the strength inside himself to stop before things got R-rated in the garden.
“Your place or mine?” Brennen queried as he lead her back to the garden.
“My place is tiny…”
“Mine it is then.”
“I need to tell Frank and Shaun where I’m going so they don’t worry.” Kirra smiled at him and he gestured for her to lead the way. He was surprised when she rounded the corner and stepped inside the fire station instead of into the garden.
He was even more surprised by the sight that greeted him when Kirra headed towards the corner. Frank and Shaun were locked in an embrace, their mouths fused together and Frank’s hand down the front of Shaun’s jeans. Well, he had no worry about needing to fight for Kirra. He didn’t intrude in the threesome’s conversation but there was a lot of hand waving and even a stomp from Kirra.
After a few minutes Kirra came back with a smile on her face. Obviously what she had said to the two men had worked. She held her hand out and Brennen willingly put his in hers before leading her out of the fire station and towards his car for the second time that evening.
****
The drive to Brennen’s didn’t take long but boy was she nervous. Her palms began to sweat and she had nervously wiped them on her dress a fair few times since she’d gotten in Brennen’s car.
“We don’t have to do this if you don’t want to.” Brennen had stopped the car and had angled his body so she could see his face, scar and all.
“How did you get those scars?”
“Someone thought the Red Hearts were scamming them out of money and attacked. I got in the way of a guy wielding a knife and landed in a pile of glass. The guy only managed to give me half of a Chelsea Smile.”
“A Chelsea Smile?” Kirra frowned as she looked at Brennen. He was amazingly handsome, even though a scar covered half of his face. In her own personal opinion she thought the scar made him seem more gruff and dangerous. It made her even more attracted to him.
“You don’t need to worry about what it is.”
“Can I feel it?”
“Sure.” Brennen shrugged, unbuckled their seatbelts and leant towards her so she could reach his face. Kirra’s fingers hovered over the deep line that was in Brennen’s face before he grasped her hand and pushed her fingers against his cheek.
Kirra brushed her fingers across Brennen’s cheek when he released her hand and smiled at him. The skin was surprisingly soft with a few puckered sections. If Brennen trusted her enough to let her touch his scars then she trusted him enough to take her to bed.
“Take me to your bed.” Kirra dropped her hand and smiled shyly at the bigger man. He smirked before heading out of the car. She stepped out of the car and nearly tripped on a stone, but luckily Brennen caught her in time.
“There are plenty of stairs. Let’s make this easier.” Brennen closed the door before he hoisted her into his arms. Kirra squeaked in surprise and then wrapped her arms around Brennen’s neck for support.
“I can walk.”
“Well, I don’t want you hurting your feet in those lovely shoes now, do I?” Brennen managed to get his front door unlocked and opened without even having to set her down. She giggled when he took the steps two at a time and kicked open his bedroom door.
“You could let me down now.” Kirra looked over at the bed and felt butterflies in her stomach. Brennen set her down on the edge of his bed before kneeling in front of her with a smile. He ran one of his hands down her
leg until he reached her shoes.
“I can do it.”
“Kirra, just be quiet.” Brennen reared up and landed a kiss on her mouth when she was about to protest once again. Brennen spent a while with his hands in her hair and his mouth devouring hers before he knelt back down. Kirra was panting slightly when they broke from the kiss and Brennen sat back.
She didn’t protest when Brennen slid her shoes off her feet. She wiggled her toes for a few seconds and sighed happily as her feet could breathe once again. While heels made her legs look longer and slimmer they made her feet ache like hell.
“Stand up.” Brennen stood at the same time and Kirra flushed as she was face to face with his chest. With her shoes on at least she could almost see into his eyes but at this height all she could see what wide chest.
