“I’ll never get enough of you,” he breathes over my heated skin as he bites his way from my breast to my abdomen.

He bites softly at my inner thigh and then I feel his breath right between my legs. I widen my legs more and place my hands behind me so I can keep my balance. His tongue pushes inside me and then he licks me in delicious strokes.

I grind my hips restlessly, and the words just fall over my parted lips. “More … please.” I let out a breathy moan which seems to turn him on even more. Please…”

He starts to suck me and it sets off a series of tingles rippling through my abdomen. My hips jerk uncontrollably as the orgasm tears through me.

As he thrusts his tongue inside me, my legs tense, and my back arches into the cool air around me.

He groans, the sound vibrating against my already sensitive spot, and then he pushes two fingers inside me, stoking the fire until it’s a blazing inferno.

“I’ve missed making you come, Riley. I love how your body gives itself over to me.”

His body heat leaves me and then his fingers clamp around my hips. He yanks me up and then turns me around so that I’m on my knees. and my ass is on full display to him.

“Riley,” he whispers as his hips press forward and he enters me fiercely.

I gasp from the force he’s using to thrust inside me. He’s big, hard as stone, and I feel him so much deeper from this position.

I clench around him, savoring the feel of him thrusting inside me. His hips ground against my ass and it makes me widen my legs more. I lean forward and place my cheek on the tile, with my arms stretched out in front of me, so that my ass is fully exposed to him.

“Harder, please,” I beg and he gives me exactly what I want by grabbing my hips and slamming into me. The sound of skin slapping skin vibrates in the air.

“I love it when you beg. You fucking take me apart with that one word.”

He digs his fingers into my skin as he tightens his hold on my hips, it’s just bordering on painful. He thrusts forward on a growl and then he’s driving into me, hard and fast.

Water splashes all around us as pleasure starts to ripple through my abdomen. He keeps driving into me, making my whole body light up with lust and pleasure.

Our bodies are hot and slick, and the scent of our love making only fuels our desire more.

Everything inside of me tightens until it feels like I might snap in half.

“Fuck!” Griffin growls, and then his body starts to shudder against mine. “Ah, Riley!” His movements become jerky until he empties himself inside of me with one last thrust.

All I can do is lie on the tiles, totally spent.

Griffin’s arm comes around my waist. and he pulls me gently back into the water. He sits down and positions me between his legs, my head falling back to rest against his chest.

His fingers start to trail lazy patterns over my stomach and breasts.

I close my eyes and smile. This right here is home. I love this moment the most. When he cuddles me, that’s when I truly feel his love.

  Griffin~

Life is all about making mistakes and learning from them.

Riley is right nothing in life is permanent. You spend all your time worrying about shit that might never happen that you miss out of the now. I’m done worrying. I’m done overthinking every little detail.

I’m done with the security business.

  I’m done with my past.

All I focus on is the now I have with Riley.

She consumes me. Everything about her consumes me until I’m totally lost in her, and I never want to be found.

A random day somewhere in the future…

I find Riley outside by the graves. She’s started a small garden around the border of the cemetery. She also made me put up fairy lights around the fence.

She sits up and dusts her hands on the back of her shorts, leaving streaks of dirt all over.

“Don’t you think it looks so much better?” she asks, squinting at the cemetery.

“It does.” I sit down next to her and rest my forearms on my knees.

It doesn’t feel like a year has passed since it happened. It still feels like yesterday. I still have days where I expect to walk into a room, catching Amelia and Miles pretending to be in a fight. I still expect to hear Josh’s laughter sounding up from somewhere. You couldn’t help but laugh whenever he was around.

Riley sees me staring at the graves, and she comes to kneel behind me, rubbing my shoulders.

“I don’t think there will ever come a time we’ll be able to let go of them. With time, we learn to live with the gaping holes they left in our lives, but they will never truly be gone. What Amelia said was true - you choose the legacy your loved ones leave behind. I choose to have them with me now, not in the past. I believe they can hear me. I believe they are here with us in some way.”

I pull her onto my lap and kiss her softly.

My hand brushes over her tummy and it makes a smile curve around my lips.

“I think it’s time to give my son some toes and fingers, you know, just make sure we have all the finishing touches on him.”

She laughs and gets up off my lap. “What makes you think it’s a boy?”

“I really don’t care if it’s a boy or girl,” I say as I get up. I take hold of her hips and pull her to me until her very pregnant belly pushes against me. “All I care about are those finishing touches.” I wiggle my brows suggestively.

“Only if I get a foot rub later. Your child is heavy.”

“I’ll rub any part of you,” I tease, pulling her in the direction of my office.

“You have a one track mind and it leads straight to the gutter.”

“I have permanent residency in that gutter since you decided to seduce me.”

  “Always such a sweet talker.”

I take her up to our room with full intentions of sweet talking her out of her clothes.
