by Cooler, Serena

“The Monard’s also aren’t supposed to make deals with the Renegades.” Seth seethed. “Let the debt be taken care of if you take her for the night.”

  “And she does what?”

  “Anything.”

“Nothing!” Sierra countered. How dare he. “There is nowhere in the assigned contract that I am supposed to be used for anything other than your nonsexual needs.” Sierra huffed. He was going to go against the contract.

“My sexual needs,” Seth corrected her as he slapped his hand across hers on the table. “You can be used for business needs, and for other’s sexual needs.” He once again pretended as if she weren’t there. “One night. Nothing off of your property, don’t tell anyone I did this. Have her back at my mansion prompt and early tomorrow morning.”

Shadow didn’t say anything at first. “Six. Twenty-two.” He glared at Seth. “One night with her is not worth six hundred and twenty-two thousand dollars you fucking tightwad.”

Relief flooded through Sierra’s pores, but it made her reconsider her contract now. It was month to month, and she could leave in another two weeks legally. It wasn’t what she wanted, but to be given as a sex slave to another man? No. She would save her money, and find something else. Seth Monard couldn’t be trusted.

“How much would a night with her take off?”

Sierra glared back at Seth. Bastard.

  “Two hundred dollars,” Shadow announced.

“She is a virgin too,” Seth added.

“Oh. One hundred dollars,” Shadow answered back.

One hundred dollars? Her virginity was worth a mere hundred dollars? Both of these insanely rich men wanted to exchange her for almost nothing! She covered her head, wondering how she would get through it. This wasn’t supposed to happen. Surely Seth wouldn’t let her go for a simple hundred dollars? She looked back at him, pleadingly with her eyes. Their meal at the restaurant was worth more than what Shadow was willing to take off for a debt!

“Sierra, are you sweating?” Shadow asked her. “Hmm.” He looked back toward Seth. “One night. One hundred dollars with an extra twenty-four hours extension to your family. She will be on my property only. I will have her back by morning.”

No. Sierra held her breath. Seth wouldn’t. He couldn’t.

“Deal. Just don’t mess up her clothes, I have a date with her again tomorrow.”

Just like that. I was given away like property, like nothing, just like that. Shadow grabbed my arm, and I had no choice but to comply.

Seth just gave me to a cold-blooded killer, to do with me what he would.

Shadow’s mansion was hidden by the trees, deep in a forest. That made sense considering who he had been. Sierra slowly got out of the limousine that drove them up. Shadow unlocked his door but Sierra stayed behind him.

“Hurry up,” he scolded as he grabbed her and brought her through the front door. He closed the front door and locked it. “I only have until morning with a virgin.” He stared wickedly at her. “Approximately ten hours. Let’s not waste time, shall we?” He strolled over to her and put his hand on her shoulder. “On your knees.”

She didn’t want. Oh Sierra didn’t want to, but she had no choice. Seth was right, it was allowed by the contract. He had complete control over her until morning. She sunk to her knees and saw him disappear to the other side.

  “Hands behind your back.”

Sierra obeyed and felt them being tied up with rope. Afterward, her view was covered in black as a blindfold was placed on her.

“Now, you are going to answer some questions for me, and you are going to refer to me as master.”

  Damn. “Yes, master.”

“Where does Seth keep his money at?”

His money? Sierra tried not to let her hopes rise, but perhaps he was only planning on using her for information instead of sex? “In his safe.”

“Are you forgetting something?” he growled.

  “In his safe, master.”

  “And his safe is where?”

“I . . . don’t know, master.” Shit. She knew he had a safe, but she didn’t know it’s exact location. “It’s in his study somewhere, master.”

“How much money are you lavished with a month?”

  “Twenty thousand, master.”

“Twenty thousand, is that it?” Shadow cleared his throat. “I bet I’ve been conned. The Monard’s have been losing money. That double-crossing son of a bitch! I give them advanced protection against Dmitri and this is what I get in return?” He hit her in the back of the head right before he undid her blindfold. “One night with a slut.”

She was no slut. She’d never even been with anyone before. He hadn’t believed Seth? “I am a virgin, master.”

“I didn’t tell you to speak.” He scoffed. “I definitely didn’t tell you to lie. No one enslaves themselves as a virgin.”

Sierra did. “I do not lie, master.”

  “Oh, yeah?”

She felt herself being pulled up, and she tried to follow with her legs. Now standing she felt his hot breath on her neck. Shadow’s arm reached around her stomach, holding her back against him.

“Prove it,” he said, “and I’ll give you fifty thousand here and now.”

Fifty thousand? That was two months and a half extra what she got with the contract. With that much, plus the other months of twenty thousand? Freedom. It would be around the corner. “How, sir?”

  “Bend over.”

Fifty thousand. Sierra did as she was told. She felt her skirt move up, being placed upon her backside while her panties were being pulled down. She closed her eyes, yet strangely felt exhilaration. Shadow was able to see her, in a way no man ever had. She was bare to him. She dealt with a small gasp as she felt herself being probed. It wasn’t as big as a cock, but it was hard. He must have been fingering her.

“You are a bit tight,” he slowly said, “but I still don’t know. Up.”

Sierra felt herself being pulled up. She felt one of his hands on her stomach and the other on her breast, gently squeezing it.

“I still say it can’t be,” Shadow muttered. “What fool would sell themselves so low as a virgin? Simply for money. Don’t want to work like the rest of the world.”

Easy for him to say, Sierra thought to herself. Like he was making an honest living when he was strong-arming businesses? The rebelling thought ceased as she felt herself moving from him to the wall. Now up with her back against the wall, she watched as he ripped open her blouse.

“I suppose you are going to tell me this is the first time a man has seen you naked too?” His eyes roamed on her body hungrily and he let his hand trickle back down to her pussy. “Perhaps it is, you are awfully wet.” That curling lip. Sierra didn’t know if she wanted to rip it off him, or sear her own lips to it. What was he doing to her? Feeling his hand on her bra strap, she felt her breasts being exposed. There was only part of her left that hadn’t been devoured by his eyes, and she was about to lose it. His hands reached behind her and she felt her bra snap away. Helpless and unable to do anything with her hands, she had no choice but to accept she was completely naked to him. There was no hiding anything. He didn’t say anything as he took his lips greedily to hers.

He knew about her virginity. He knew about never being naked in front of a man. He didn’t know about her first kiss, but as she kept trying to follow his moves, he figured it out.

He stopped and stared at her, like he was in complete disbelief. “What was that shit, snapping your mouth all over?” He blinked. “You’re not going to tell me I was your first kiss?”

She stayed still and simply breathed. Surely she had proved she was a virgin now?

“Fucking shit, woman.” He lightly chuckled. “Holy shit, I was your first kiss?” He wrapped his arms tighter around her and pressed his mouth on hers again briefly. “I lean right, you lean left, then figure it out from there.” With those simple instructions, Sierra was kissing much better. Shadow pressed his hands against her breasts, li
ghtly playing with her nipples. The sensation made her feel even wetter. This was supposed to be an evil man, and she was nothing but a toy to him. How was it her body was signaling her to have sex?

When he stopped kissing her, he held her head in his hands, looking straight at her. “You are supposed to be Seth’s, how have you never been touched?”

“I am not allowed to tell anyone, master.”

“He gave me to you, ergo, you have to obey me. Even over him,” Shadow commanded. “Tell me.”

“I am for show, master,” she tried to explain. “I am supposed to become a dutifully honorable wife eventually, if I serve him well, but he does not mix pleasure with business.”

“Then I suppose it is a good thing I have you tonight,” he whispered by her ear. “Dutiful. Never touching anyone. Never having anyone touch you.” He played with her nipple lightly. “No one to help soothe the ache.” His hand found his way below her again as he gently played with her pink folds as he kissed her.

Wrong. So wrong. He was going to take advantage of her, and yet she loved it. She wanted it. Evil as he may be, she wanted to be conquered by him. She wanted to touch him. He was so much bigger than Seth, and it was obvious he wanted her. She wasn’t for show or for lies to keep women on the side. He wanted her. She was waiting for him.

But he wasn’t undressing himself, he wasn’t doing anything except exploring her and kissing her neck. She moaned steadily, and even though she was the one who was tied up, she could have sworn he was practicing restraint. “Master?”

That did it though. She watched him undo the belt on his pants quickly, as if he would change his mind if it wasn’t fast enough. She felt his chest against her and his mouth on her neck as he fondled her breast. Oh, what she wouldn’t give to touch him in return. Would he ever let her go? It was only one night, but it was her first time.

He pulled the blindfold back out of his suit jacket. No, seriously? He removed his hands from her sensual spots to tie it back on her.

“This isn’t love. This is one night between a man and a woman, don’t think it’s anything else.”

After that phrase, she felt it. She felt him slowly trying to penetrate her. Bit by bit, he didn’t speak only made some little noises here and there like she did, until he did it. She tried to hold the yell back as he broke into her barrier. He became even more gentle with the sudden pain, but as it ebbed he picked up speed again.

All she could do was feel his body against hers, his mouth coming back and forth from his neck to her lips. She felt him nibble on her ear and as he sped up, she felt him breathing into it. When she crested, she moaned in delicious ecstasy. Her body was filled with so many tingles and vibes that felt so good all around her. She fell limp into his arms. For a minute, he simply let her rest upon him. As she moved her cheek to stroke his though, he moved. A few shuffling sounds like a belt later, her blindfold was taken off. He didn’t even meet her eye to eye, simply placed her panties and bra back in. Her shirt buttons weren’t perfect, but he buttoned that up as he could. Her skirt was slipped on with no problem.

“Turn around,” he commanded in his authoritative voice again. When she did he had taken the binds off of her. “Go back to the limousine in front. I don’t need you ‘til morning, I am dropping you off now.”

It was cold. She did what he asked, but somehow she expected something else. He said nothing meant anything, why was she looking so hard for something else? When she got into the limousine, Shadow shut the door and went over to the limo driver. She heard him tell the directions back to Seth’s house and to step on it. No goodbye. Nothing. As per required, yet . . .she closed her eyes. Was it only because it was her first time that she swore she felt something more?

Before he left though, he opened the door. Sierra thought maybe he did come to say goodbye, but instead money had been flung at her and the door was shut again.

Shadow sat in his couch, deep in thought. “I shouldn’t have.” He never planned on using her for sex at all. He had tied and blindfolded her to scare her and to get answers about the real money amount of the Monard family. Were they tightwads trying to scam him or did they not have as much as they pretended to have? The Monard family had fell into trouble with the Dmitri family businesswise. Believing someone as rich as they had been was good for it, he sent out twenty of his best men to guard their businesses while transactions that would kick the Dmitri’s out of their business were arranged. He asked for six hundred and twenty-two thousand up front, and the other six hundred and twenty-two thousand after the job was done. They did the upfront cost, but after the Dmitri’s were released of their businesses grasp, they kept saying Seth Monard would take care of it. All that little upstart did was try to act like Shadow was no one important, trying to flake him off. That never sits well though, people need paid. Fees need owed. That money came from Shadow’s own pocket, and he would be damned if he wasn’t getting paid back.

He wanted to know the safe location at least so he could order a burglary on Seth’s home easily. It was a kinder option than killing the little weasel that didn’t understand who he was messing with. He should have let her go as soon as he found out she wasn’t as close to Seth as he thought, but no. She had to say she was a virgin.

It wasn’t exactly the money that really burned Shadow though, it was the Monard family lies. He hated liars, and seeing Sierra lie in front of him, he wanted to prove her wrong. He never actually imagined she was virgin. Let alone never been kissed.

He was only toying with her, it wasn’t supposed to go that far. He wanted to make her strip, scare her and make sure she never set herself up for a stupid contract. A person may have got money that way, but it was no way to live. He could tell from the first day she wasn’t one that should be in that situation.

He should have just given her the money and sent her back to Seth Monard, but her lips. When she tried to first peck his lips with hers, and then kept trying to match up to his? It was so obvious. He’d never stolen a first kiss before. Trite as it was, he lost himself after that. He wanted her, and she was willing. He just couldn’t help himself. It was only after he broke into her that he realized what he was doing.

He had been taking the first kiss and the first time from an innocent girl . . . that was not his to take. She wasn’t his, she belonged to Seth. Actually her contract was most likely for the Monard name with Seth the seer of her duties. Nothing even close to his, and Shadow even had the audacity not to use a condom. Seth Monard never ordered that from him, but still, he knew better.

Kissing. Dates. That should have been involved in her first time, not tied up against a wall. Gaw, he wanted her so bad but he knew she’d confuse the feelings of sex with love the first time. He blindfolded her. He warned her it was nothing but sex. He got her dressed and out of his life as fast as he could. Then he almost forgot that she had proved without a doubt she had been a virgin. Not wanting to look at her again, he threw the money in the limo and quickly came back inside. He was a man of his word.

Shadow had killed men that crossed him. He’d ordered hits on lives, and even pulled the gun more than once himself. More than forty-eight hours of no pay meant death and it didn’t bother him. Nothing phased him. Nothing held him. If he couldn’t get enough money out of Seth Monard’s things, he’d personally kill Seth as an example not to cross him, no matter what the family name.

And yet, he couldn’t forget about those wide innocent eyes. They were still haunting him.

  Sierra.

“Six. Twenty-two.” Shadow took several seconds to himself. Seth Monard gave him Sierra for ten hours for a twenty-four hour extension.

Having someone as naïve as Sierra underneath him was purely wicked. Evil and good mixing. Downright wrong.

What a thrilling idea. He needed someone, and Sierra was perfect. All he needed was some persuasive touch.

Sierra refused to talk to Seth when she came back. He tried to speak to her like a human being now, but she still wasn’t budging. Si
mply sitting on the couch.

“Shadow is ruthless. I would not normally throw you to such a wolf,” Seth tried once again. “Sierra, my life is on the line. It was not my choice to be chosen to pay the outrageous fee to him, but I can’t name someone else in the family to pay, I’d shame myself forever! If I had cowered beneath the gun the first time, I wouldn’t even be here today. Shadow respects pride, which may have saved me again today, but I had gunfire on me. I know I did.”

She didn’t care. “You threw me to a monster.” Did he really expect her to stay after that? True, when she was actually in Shadow’s grasp, she had found that she strangely liked the erotic first time she had. Yet, the fact still remained. Seth threw her at Shadow like nothing but property, just a slut. Which is what she had been, Shadow helped her see that. After taking her first kiss and her first time, he immediately sent her away like some disease! “In two weeks, I want to free myself of the contract. You will not use me again like that, your life on the line or not.”

“I chose you for marriage.” Seth had finally loosened up enough to show her chances. “Everything would have been fine. We would not be dealing with this small hump between us.”

Small hump? A small hump? “You made me give my first time away!” She cried. That was her ace. That was what separated her from bad contracts. “The Monard family are not supposed to be like that, but not everything is in a name after all.”

“My family is good,” Seth insisted, “we simply fell into trouble.”

Who cared? “Two more weeks and you can find another woman.” It would be easy for him anyhow, why try to save some kind of face?

“Perhaps you are right.” Seth turned his back “After all, there is nothing special about you anymore. You are no more pure or innocent than I am.”

That was true. She already knew that. There was nothing that was going to secure her a decent contract. Her gambling cards of purity were gone because of Seth Monard.
