“She sounds like she loves you very much.”

“She does. And I feel the same about her. She more than made up for not having a father.”

  “You never see him?”

“Nope. He left and that was that. No contact at all.” She smiles, but her lips are tight. Some wounds never go away, no matter how much time passes. I don’t want her dwelling on the past tonight. I shouldn’t have brought it up.

Taking the frame from her hold, I set it down on the table, then turn to face her. “What do you say we head out and see what kind of trouble we can get into?”

“Why not?” She slings a small purse across her torso and sets her alarm. She checks to make sure the door is locked once we’re on the front landing. Living alone as she does, I like that she’s safety conscious.

“You should get a dog. A big one,” I unexpectedly offer.

“Why should I?” She seems amused by my suggestion.

“You’re a beautiful woman who lives alone.”

“Nah. This neighborhood is as safe as they get.”

“It’s definitely a nice looking neighborhood,” I agree as we head down the three steps. “Do you handle your own landscaping?”

“I hired someone to create the beds and borders for me, and I did all the planting. I have someone who mows and trims my lawn, but I do the rest.”

“You’ve got a good eye for color and placement.”

“Funny you should say that, my mom is an art teacher. I must’ve picked up some of her knowledge through osmosis.”

We pause beside my motorcycle in her driveway. “Here you go.” I hand her my extra helmet. “Safety first.” She slips it over the top of her head, and I help her push it down until all I can see is from her nose up. Thick-lashed, warm brown eyes stare up at me.

Christ. She even makes a full-face helmet look sexy.

“Have you ridden on one of these before?”

  “No, never.”

Pleasantly surprised by her answer, I smile. “I’m glad I’m your first ride.”

  She rolls her eyes.

I fasten my own brain bucket on my head and straddle my favorite girl. She and I have been together for five years. We’ve traveled a lot of miles and shared some amazing rides.

Roxanne remains frozen in place beside the bike, as if it might bite her. “Climb on, Rocky.” Studying the motorcycle, she rubs her lips together, like she’s trying to decide her best course of action. “Don’t be afraid. I’ve got control of the bike. Just get on.”

She steps on the peg with her left foot, slinging her right leg over the seat. She wiggles around on the black leather, trying to get comfortable. Reaching back, I place my hand on her hip, dragging her forward until she’s pressed against me. “Grab on to me and hold tight. When we take a corner your natural instinct will be to lean away from the turn. Don’t do that. Lean into the turns with me. We’re not going to tip over, even though you may feel like we will.”

“Okay,” she mumbles with uncertainty, sliding her arms around my waist.

I rub her hands, pushing them into my stomach muscles. “Hold on and don’t let go. I’ll take it slow, Rocky. You’re safe with me.” It sounds the same as if I was coaxing a virgin in my bed, and I chuckle. Not that I’m used to virgins. The women I typically spend time with are experienced and know the score.

“Don’t laugh at me.” She hammers my stomach with her fist. Luckily, because of her position, there’s no power behind it.

“I was laughing at myself, not you. Are you ready?”

  “I guess so.”

“You can close the shield on your helmet if you want. It’ll keep the wind from your eyes.” She draws one hand away, and I hear the sound of the thick, clear plastic snapping shut. Her arm wraps around me once more, squeezing tightly, her fingers twisting in the material of my shirt. I know she’s nervous.

I caress my hand over her leg and squeeze her outer thigh. “Relax.”

She settles into me, her tits pressing into my back and her pelvis is cushioned against my ass. Between both of those things, I’m going to be riding with a hard-on. Fucking fantastic.

I turn the ignition and twist the throttle, and the pipes rumble to life. Popping the kickstand up with my heel, I check over my left shoulder and thunder out onto the road, nearly setting Roxanne’s car alarm off as we go.

“Ack,” she shrieks in my ear. I smile, enjoying every second of her closeness. Life can’t get much better than riding my favorite girl while having a gorgeous woman clinging to me. The only woman who’s captured my interest for more than one night in years.

“What is this place?” Roxanne questions as we approach the old brick warehouse.

  “Guess.”

“It looks a little sketchy from the outside. Are you meeting someone to buy drugs?”

I bark out a laugh. “Good one. Just so you know, aside from an occasional edible or joint to help with aches and pains from my job, I don’t do drugs. At least not any that are illegal.”

“That’s a relief. Going in old warehouses to purchase drugs never works out well.”

  “And you know this how?”

“Duh. From watching movies.” She giggles.

“And if it’s in a movie, it must be true,” I droll.

  “Exactly.”

Opening the door, I gesture for her to go first down the hallway.

“Oh, sure. Make the unsuspecting date lead the way in case of stray bullets.”

I laugh. “You’re going to be amazed at how wrong you are in about five seconds.” As we progress down the long, dark hall, we hear music playing. Glancing at Roxanne, I take in her perplexed look.

We come to a wide doorway and step through into the loud, brightly lit space. Roxanne gasps. “Are those trampolines?”

  “Yes, they are.”

“Where is everyone?” she asks. We’re the only customers here.

“I helped a friend out with renovating this place. You wouldn’t believe what it used to look like before. They’re not officially open for business yet. We’re only allowed to be here as a favor to me.”

Her head cranes from one direction to another, scanning the multiple black trampolines that make up the majority of the floor. “So, no one else is really here?”

“Nope. We can stay as long as we want. I have the key to lock up when we’re done. Come on.” I clasp her hand, drawing her farther into the enormous, wide open space. “Let’s go have some fun.”

Removing our shoes, we walk onto the narrow area around the trampolines. I squeeze her hand. “Are you ready?”

Her head turns and she meets my gaze with a smile. “Are you kidding? Let’s do this.” We leap onto the trampoline, bouncing up and down, still joined together. Roxanne lets out a high-pitched peep as we pick up momentum. My stomach has that dropping sensation you get on a carnival ride. It’s the same feeling I experienced when I kissed Roxanne in the pool a few weeks ago.

“I’m gonna let go of you now,” I say.

“Okay,” she squeaks, but her grin screams of her excitement.

Releasing her hand, I continue to jump and progress forward, bouncing right over the narrow pathway between the trampolines and onto a different one. Now that we each have our own, I can get a little crazy. I throw some flying side kicks from my martial arts days and then do a series of flips. A belly laugh flies out of my mouth. This is a blast.

I check out what Roxanne’s doing and find her splitting her legs and throwing her arms in the air like she’s doing a cheer. Looking athletic and sexy as hell—not to mention flexible—she beams. I could watch her all night, and I just might. I can’t think of anyone I’d want to be sharing this experience with besides her.

  Roxanne

What a freaking blast this is. I can’t believe he brought me here, but I’m so glad he did. Jumping nonstop like this feels good for my soul. I feel light and childlike. I feel free.

My worries have dissipated, and I’m consumed with t
he powerful combination of happiness and Adam Winters. Spending time with him is decidedly easy. He’s uncomplicated and good natured while still seeming alpha male in every way.

I should’ve known going on a date with him would be like no other I’ve been on. Adam couldn’t do anything mediocre or halfway if he tried. This is destined to be a first date I’ll never forget.

Still bouncing on the first trampoline, my peepers engage in a leisurely perusal of Adam’s ripped muscular physique on display in his snug, black t-shirt. His bulging biceps look like they may go into Hulk mode at any time and break free from the confines of his tight, short sleeves.

Watching his acrobatic moves, my eyes momentarily freeze on the tanned strip of stomach between his low hanging jeans and t-shirt. Catching a glimpse of the indents on either side—the ones that cut inward in a V-shape—I close my mouth to hold in my drool. They're the same muscles I daydreamed about when I saw him in his bathing suit last month—the ones I still fantasize about nightly.

Okay, I’ve salivated enough over his body. I need to focus on what I’m doing and enjoy myself. I doubt I’ll ever have an opportunity like this again.

Hopping like a rabbit, I bounce across each trampoline and onto the next, making my way across them one at a time. Adam doesn’t move when I land on his. Instead, he catches hold of my hand, leaping with me.

“Let’s sit and bounce back to our feet,” he suggests. “On the count of three. One. Two. Three.” We fall to our asses and are propelled back to our feet, both of us laughing.

We do it twice more successfully and then on the final try, I somehow wind up on my back with Adam on top of me. Momentum continues to bounce us with our chests together and our pelvises perfectly lined up. My arms and legs wrap around him to keep from smashing into each other. Although my plan works, it also backfires on me, in a sense. I’m now under him—in a place I never should’ve been.

We both become cognizant of our precarious position at the same time—and also of Adam’s hard dick nestled between my legs.

Our bouncing slows until we stop moving entirely, leaving him lying on top of me. With the trampoline cushioning my back, we might as well be on a giant mattress.

Heated green eyes glitter hungrily down at me. He slams his mouth onto mine, tongue plunging between my lips, eagerly stroking and circling mine.

One of his hands snakes under my shirt, cupping a breast and squeezing the fullness until I’m desperate enough to crawl out of my own skin.

Needing relief for the agonizing burning between my thighs, I raise my hips, grinding against his thick erection.

Absorbing my expelled moan between his lips, he rocks against my slit maddeningly. Still fully clothed, I’m already on my way to an epic orgasm.

Thrusting my fingers into his hair, I tug and yank on the thick strands as we hungrily devour each other with frantic kisses.

His warm palm skims along my stomach, goose bumps breaking out on my skin. His agile fingers slip the metal button through the hole on my jeans, unfastening them one-handed and in record time.

Without warning, a thought hits me. I’ve always seen Adam’s manwhorish ways as an unfavorable quality. Now that I’m about to be on the receiving end of his experience, it seems like a positive instead of a negative. He’s had plenty of practice and knows what he’s doing.

I’d hate myself right now for being so weak if his hand wasn’t delving inside my panties. He finds me slick with unmistakable desire.

His breath is ragged. “Fuck, you’re wet. Is your pussy eager for my touch, Rocky?”

  “Yes. Don’t stop.”

He slides his middle finger along my slit, collecting my juices before he glides them over my clit. Repeatedly rubbing back and forth, then around in mind-blowing circles, the urgency builds until I shatter. I tremble through my orgasm as his fingers continue working their magic, dragging out my pleasure.

My hands slip between us, fumbling until his pants are undone. Using one hand, he pushes them down to mid-thigh, and I catch my first glimpse of his cock.

  Holy giant moly.

  And then my second.

  And now my third.

  Things just got serious.

He’s as blessed as I imagined. I’m so relieved. What a major disappointment it would’ve been to find a tiny peen between those thick, corded thighs of his.

Wiggling my pants down to my ankles, I try to kick one leg free, but the denim is too tight and they’re stuck. I can’t wait any longer to know what that monstrosity feels like.

“Fuck me,” I shout, and every conscious thought is obliterated by the wide tip of Adam’s cock pressing against my entrance. With the position we’re in, he has no luck sliding inside me.

Shifting his weight, the trampoline depresses, and when he shifts the other way to compensate, it gives a little bounce. Wobbling from side to side, he finally stabilizes.

  “Goddammit,” he growls.

He tries to spread my legs with his hands on my inner thighs, but with my jeans stuck around my ankles, there’s no way for them to part more. His head drops forward, and his groan of frustration vibrates against my neck. “Maybe we should get out of here,” he suggests. “We probably shouldn’t be doing this anyway. I don’t know if the security cameras have been installed yet.” Lifting his head, he smiles wryly before rolling off me with a frustrated groan and tugs his pants back up.

I want to shout out for him not to be a quitter, but I know he’s right. I was dickstracted and he just saved me from doing something rash. I should be grateful.

So why am I so disappointed?

He grips both sides of my jeans, dragging them back up my legs while I raise my hips. “These look sexy as hell on you, but they’re my mortal enemy right now.”

I giggle, pulling up my zipper. “Cockblocked by skinny jeans. I bet that’s a first.”

He sighs, cupping his hand over his fly. “I’m hoping it’s also a last.” Climbing to his feet, he helps me to mine. “How about we go grab some dinner?” he asks. I wish his question was more along the lines of how about we finish what we started?

Pulling down the bottom of my shirt, I run a hand over my hair, smoothing out the strands. Hopefully, I don’t look as disheveled as I feel. “Sounds good to me.”

But not nearly as good as another orgasm would.

Knowing what to expect made the second ride on his bike more relaxed for me. We traveled on a slew of winding back roads I’m not familiar with to reach this hot dog and shake shack. And when I say shack, I mean it literally.

Constructed of worn barn wood, it looks like it could blow over with a single powerful gust of wind. The faded sign may say it was established fifty seven years ago, but I’m not sure how it’s still standing after so long.

Adam hangs his small helmet on one of the handlebars, and I place mine on the motorcycle seat. He rakes a hand through his hair, and I shake my head, tossing my hair back from my face.

“Have you ever been here before?” he asks.

“No. I’ve never heard of it, but it looks... interesting.” I smile.

“I hope you like hot dogs and fries.”

  “I love them.”

“Good. Your taste buds are about to be blown away.”

  “That good, huh?”

His head tics up and down slowly. “I’m talking life-changing, maybe even a spiritual experience. You’ll never be the same.”

The orgasm he gave me earlier was as close to a spiritual experience as I’ve ever had. “I don’t know if I’m ready for this. Should I be doing something to prepare myself?” I joke.

He takes my hand, his green orbs sparkling mischievously. “Just hang on to me and enjoy the ride.” Of course my brain calls up a vision of us naked with me riding him, just like he planned. And the smug twist to his lips lets me know that he’s completely aware of what I’m thinking.

“Do you come here often?” I question once we’re in line.

“Not as much as I’d like. They’r
e only open from Memorial Day until the end of September. Do you know what you want?”

“I think so. I reserve the right to change my mind until the last minute, so you should order first.”

“I remember. Is this going to be like when we went to The Gym in New Hampshire? I can order a few things if you want. I don’t mind eating a lot.”

“That’s not necessary, but it’s nice of you to offer.”

“Are you indecisive with all choices, or only when it comes to food?” he inquires.

“It’s just part of who I am. I tend to weigh out my decisions, and once I commit to a choice, I rarely have regrets about it.”

“So you’re never a hasty decision-maker?” he asks.

“Never say never. But for the most part, I like to take my time and weigh out my options. Especially, when it’s a business decision.” I nudge his arm. “What about you? I won’t be the only one sharing secrets.”

“If we’re sharing secrets, tell me something no one else knows,” he replies.

“You haven’t answered my original question yet. You’re not getting more info out of me unless you do.”

“You’re tough.” He grins, and I’m almost positive it’s to distract me so he won’t have to reveal anything.

I wag my finger back and forth between us. “Oh no you don’t. Get talking.”

“For the most part, I take my time making decisions. Our contracting business is too important to half ass anything.”

  “What about women?”

  “What about them?”

“You have no problem making spur of the moment decisions when it comes to who you’re going home with.”

  “That’s because those decisions aren’t long-term ones.”

  “Potentially, they could be.”

“I’m not planning a future with any of the women I’ve slept with in the past.”

  “What if they get pregnant?”

“Well, shit. You sound like Rex.”

  “He’s a smart guy.”
