Bones are Made to be Broken

( pay attention )
Pay attention;
The world likes you just the way you are.
On the sidelines,
Out of the game,
And ignorant of the fact
That a game is even happening.
The world wants you to be lazy and stupid,
Bored and apathetic,
Distracted and caught up in
Facebook and Snapchat
Twitter and Vine.
The world wants you to forget
You could one day run things,
Bend things,
Control things,
Change things.
pay attention;
There’s only one chance for you
To not be seen as stupid and lazy,
Bored and apathetic,
Distracted and mollified.
The world is watching.
And you are losing.
Pay attention.
… I will lead you home.
