The crowd stood and cheered for Siefer. They finally had a candidate with experience and honor. There was grumbling by a few who wanted the colonists destroyed. The majority liked the changes Siefer proposed.

Nabvan greeted him with a strong handshake and the words, “I am at your service. I will help guide the new Knights of Milisaria to be fair-minded and kill as few as possible in the battles. We will endeavor to keep the villages intact rather than burning them down as Shene ordered us to do. Together, we will make a difference in this and other worlds. Our children will have a better life. Thank you for doing this."

Alexis hugged Destiney and said, “Our lives have turned out very different than we expected when we stepped aboard the spaceship on Earth. You can count on me for help with the baby when Siefer is roaming the galaxy. I will always be your friend."

  Chapter: 5

  ***Siefer***

Milisarians roamed the courtyard in droves. Today was Election Day. By evening there would be a new king ruling over the planet. The knights, as the warriors were known, kept control of the throngs. There would be no fighting today. All those not working on other worlds were here to vote.

Siefer paced his quarters as if imprisoned, while Destiney packed their possessions. If Siefer was elected, they would have to immediately move into the king's quarters. It took up the entire top floor of the capitol building in Milisaria. There was an entire wall of reinforced windows overlooking the planet. The four moons could be seen in their full glory. Siefer would have his own large chamber with Destiney's next door. He vowed she would never sleep there. His wife would share his bed when he was on this planet. The baby would have his own space as well. It would be monitored on a large screen in Siefer's chambers thanks to Earth's trading deals. A central area held lounging furniture and a ten-foot screen that was used to speak to the Milisarian Knights on board their ships. The king was never truly out of touch with his people.

Dressed in his ceremonial robes, Siefer felt uncomfortable and out of place. Gone was the heavy armor he had worn for most of his life. His sword was locked in a cabinet, leaving only a dagger stuck in his belt for defense. Destiney had carefully brushed every tangle from his gleaming black hair. She looked lovely in a flowing green gown plundered from a faraway world. It appeared to be alive as it swirled around her legs changing hues as the green seas of Milisaria were known to do. The baby was wrapped in a small ceremonial robe with the symbol for the knights adorning the back.

The family entered the voting area to cheers and well wishes. Siefer cast his vote by dropping a blue disc in the voting box. Destiney did the same. Each candidate was assigned a different colored disc, making it easy to see who the winner was. The discs would be counted and stacked in front of the entire throng. It was impossible to cheat.

The day was long, and the baby grew tired and fussy. Destiney found a spot on a grassy hill and laid him down to sleep. Siefer was busy, shaking hands and talking about his promised changes. This was a true sign of things to come. The one difference would be guards following every step she made. Destiney decided to enjoy her freedom while it lasted and fell asleep in the grass. She was awoken by a gentle kiss from Siefer. The day was coming to an end. She jumped up and reached for her son. He wasn't there. Panic filled her eyes. Siefer eased her fears. "Alexis has our son. She has fed and changed him. He is even now gurgling at the young scientists she teaches. You needed to rest. Your nights have been too short of late. Come, they are about to announce the new king. From the look of the stacks of discs, it will be me."

Siefer led his wife through the densely packed courtyard and into the open area reserved for the candidates. A council member called for attention and silence descended. He lifted his voice to carry across the land. "Faithful Milisarians, we have a new king! Your voices have been heard, and you have chosen Siefer as your ruler. All hail King Siefer! Long may he rule! We must swear to uphold his rulings and take care of his family as if they were our own. Come forward, King Siefer, and receive the ancient sword of our people."

Siefer made his way to the dais and bowed before the councilman. The ancient sword was lifted and brought down gently upon his shoulder. As the men of Earth had been knighted, so were the Milisarian Knights. The king alone was honored by the use of the ancient sword of the Milisarian founders. The sword would remain his until he died. A Milisarian king had no use for a crown. He was a warrior, meant to fight along with his knights. The sword hilt held the crown jewels.

Siefer rose and thrust the sword into the air. He addressed the throng of Milisarians. "I will fight for your safety as well as your wealth. We will grow ever stronger under my rule. I will not hide behind my kingship. You will find me among our warriors. My family will be your family. Together, we will give our children a better world. I wish Nabvan to continue as my second-in-command. He will control our ships when I can not. He will continue to train our young warriors to be Milisarian Knights. He will be allowed to name those who serve as his lieutenants. I will consult him before choosing my family's guards. I will announce all other positions as soon as possible. Thank you all for your confidence in my ability to rule. Eat, drink, and enjoy the celebration!" Siefer stepped down and kissed Destiney for all to see.

Nabvan and Alexis made their way to the front of the crowd. The throngs stepped aside for the king's commander. Siefer took his son from Alexis's arms and held him high in the air. The baby chortled, and the crowd cheered. Destiney reached up for her child and kissed his sweet cheeks. She whispered to Siefer, “I must feed him before I burst. May we retire to our new quarters?"

Siefer whispered back, "You know I can not leave yet. I will have Nabvan and Alexis take you to our home. A guard will deliver our belongings shortly. I promise to join you in less than an hour."

Nabvan and Alexis gladly left the crowd behind. Alexis was exhausted. Her pregnancy was beginning to affect her energy as well as her shape. She had a tiny baby bump now. Nabvan hated all the ceremonial matters. It was one of the biggest reasons he hadn't wanted to be king. They happily accompanied Destiney to the king's quarters.

The closets were stocked with bedding and blankets for both girls and boys. As Destiney fed her son, Alexis made up his room in blue. Soft blankets, silky sheets, fluffy rugs, and stuffed animals all in baby blue were brought out. There were infant's toys from every conquered or trading planet in their known world. It was a beautiful room. There was even a rocking chair where Destiney was sitting with the now sleeping baby.

Alexis sat on a tufted stool and quietly inquired, "Will you allow us to keep the baby for the night? We thought you might want to celebrate Siefer's win with a night alone. We will stay in your old quarters where there is a crib. I promise he will be well cared for. It will be good practice for us. You may call to check on him anytime during the night."

Destiney reluctantly agreed. She would miss her son dearly, but she wanted time alone with Siefer. Now would be a good time. The baby was full. He had emptied her breasts of milk. Her body had healed from childbirth. Siefer could once again share her bed for more than cuddling.

Destiney hugged and kissed her son goodnight and sent him off with Alexis. Her belongings had been delivered, and she searched through them to find the wisp of clothing she had brought from Earth. It was a gown of transparent white that she had intended to wear on her wedding night on Arkani. She had never made it that far, and Siefer had so overwhelmed her senses, she had worn nothing on their first night together. She slipped it over her head and let it fall over her curves where it accentuated her beautiful body. She sprayed herself with a delicate floral perfume, lowered the lights, and waited.

Siefer was determined to keep his promise. He left the celebration within the hour and rushed to his new home. To his consternation, he was followed by four guards. He hoped that the ones Nabvan chose to guard him after tonight would be a little less clingy.

He entered the new quarters quietly. If the baby was asleep, he didn't wish to wake him. The opulent
surroundings went unnoticed as Siefer caught sight of Destiney. She was draped across his bed wearing a shimmering, transparent gown. Her rosy nipples were at attention, and the apex of her thighs begged for his touch. He stripped off the ceremonial clothes and climbed on the bed. The hunger in his eyes was evident.

Destiney felt the heat of desire emanating from his body. It brought forth an answering longing in her own. She lifted her arms and cradled his head against her ample breasts. She moaned as he turned his head and licked her taut nipples through the thin fabric. Its soft movement over her skin intensified the sensual feelings.

Siefer reveled in the warmth and deliciousness of her breasts. He had waited a long time to taste them once again. His hands began to roam over Destiney's waist and hips. His manhood grew larger as she squirmed beneath him. His fingers touched her thighs, and she reached down and guided them to her center. He rubbed the fabric against her and felt it become wet. Slowly, he kissed his way down and let his tongue replace his fingers.

Destiney wanted more. The fabric was in the way. She begged, "Rip it away. I want your tongue inside. Please, Siefer!" He obliged. The gown was ripped unceremoniously from her body. He spread her legs wide and feasted on the treasure there. His tongue parted her nether lips and entered her core. Destiney lifted her hips to meet him as the tremors of a climax began. She screamed out as her desire was fulfilled.

Siefer drank from her wetness, savoring every drop. His throbbing member could wait no longer. He rose above Destiney and allowed her to guide his hardness to its goal. He moaned aloud as her hot wetness surrounded him. He pushed deep and rocked in and out, going deeper each time. Having four arms made it easy to hold his body over her and still use a hand to play with the button between her legs. As her nails scraped his back, they came together in a breathtaking climax.

Thinking it was over, Destiney allowed her body to relax, but Siefer continued to move. He grew harder as he thrust, and a tingling built inside her once more. The feeling grew until Destiney thought she would die from it. Then she exploded in ecstasy. She saw stars pass before her eyes, and a silent scream left her throat. She had never felt anything like this in her life. It was magnificent.

Siefer fell to her side and gasped for air. This was by far the most sensual night of his life. He couldn't imagine a deeper love than he was feeling for Destiney. She was his life mate, and he never wanted to leave. Memories of this night would have to hold him over throughout his travels. He reached once again for her sweaty, slick body. He needed more to sustain him. Destiney gave him all he asked for and more.

  Chapter: 6

  ***Alex***

Alexis and Nabvan were awakened by an unfamiliar noise. It took a few moments to remember that they were babysitting for Destiney. The little one was screeching. Alexis climbed out of bed and ran to the crib. She picked up the crying baby only to realize his swaddling was soaked. He was wet and smelled terrible, but he was also very hungry. He began rooting around her chest, looking for his meal. Alexis didn't have the means to oblige his needs, so she went in search of his supplemental bottles.

Nabvan exclaimed, "Dear lord, can't you stop his everlasting screeching? My head is going to explode!" He was rewarded with an evil look from Alexis and she handed him the wailing child. As he brought the baby against his bare chest, Nabvan too began to screech, "What is that awful stench? What is running down my chest?" He held the baby far from his body.

Alexis's frustration changed to laughter. Her big strong warrior that dealt with blood and guts in battle couldn't handle a baby with a dirty diaper. She wished she had a camera to immortalize the look of utter horror on Nabvan's handsome face. Between snickers, she asked, "Could you bathe him and put on a fresh diaper while I get his food?"

Nabvan's jaw dropped in astonishment. He stammered, "Is that a joke? It is not funny. Milisarian Knights do not change filthy diapers! Next you will be asking me to feed the child. How undignified!"

Alexis stared directly into his eyes and calmly stated, "You change bandages covered in blood and pus. You conquer worlds so that you can feed your people. How can caring for an infant's needs be undignified after all of that? It is in the same category as far as I'm concerned. Will you refuse to help our child as well? You hold dying soldiers in your arms to comfort them, yet you still hold a helpless child dangling in the air."

Chagrined, Nabvan once again brought the baby to his chest. "You are correct, my love. I never thought of it that way. I am willing to learn how to care for a child with your help."

Alexis took over. She washed, dressed, and fed the baby as Nabvan lent a helping hand. He found that he quite enjoyed watching a baby splash in the water and greedily drink his meal. When the infant gave him a toothless grin, his warrior's heart melted in response.

Destiney was soon at their door. She had missed her son and wanted to hold him tight. She told Alexis that Siefer had decided on a name for his son during the wee hours of the night. There would be a naming ceremony in the common area that afternoon. She asked, "Will you and Nabvan stand with us? We wish you to be his guardians if we are ever unable to care for him. We trust you both with his life."

Alexis and Nabvan were delighted to accept.

After Destiney departed, Nabvan began to don his armor. Alexis had other plans for the morning. She removed the chest plate from his body and ran her tongue over his nipples. Nabvan growled in response. He lifted Alexis and carried her effortlessly to the bed. As she slid from his hands, her gown slipped from her body. Nabvan drank in the sight of her voluptuous curves as he removed his leather leggings. His manhood sprang into her waiting grasp.

Alexis loved the feel of his steely length against her soft palm. She slowly rubbed him from base to tip. There she found a droplet that brought wetness to her groin. She closed her eyes in ecstasy as Nabvan leaned down to sip from her rounded breasts and plunder her wetness with his fingers. She ran a hand through his silky red hair and then over the tribal markings on his shoulder. When he raised his head, she put a hand over the heart that was clearly visible through his skin. It beat faster and stronger just for her.

Nabvan laid her down gently and settled himself between her spread thighs. As he entered her tightness, the hot fluid surrounded him. It welcomed him home. He watched Alexis's face change as he moved deeper still. Her eyes grew wide, and her mouth dropped open as the climax built to a pinnacle. She wrapped her legs around his body, taking him all the way to her core. Her muscles pulsed around his hardness and pulled the seed from his body. He let out a warrior's shout as he filled her with his essence.

Nabvan kissed her rounded belly and laid his head softly on the small mound. He felt a fluttering that brought a proud smile to his face. Alexis caught sight of the look and her love for him grew. She whispered, "Maybe we should have our wedding sooner rather than later. The baby is growing quickly." Nabvan agreed wholeheartedly.

They needed to shower and dress for the naming ceremony. There were no extra clothes in Siefer's old quarters where they had stayed with the baby. They donned their fancy clothing from the voting ritual and laughingly hurried through the hall to Nabvan's quarters.

Once again, the city was assembled. They were there to celebrate the birth of the new king's heir. The child would receive a name today. It was a time for rejoicing. The crowd was enthusiastic. Their worries had lessened considerably with the election of King Siefer. A world without a leader was prone to chaos.

King Siefer, Queen Destiney, Nabvan, and Alexis approached the dais. Each wore a surcoat with tribal markings glowing along their length. The infant was swaddled in a cloth with similar markings. King Siefer raised his hands high with the baby balanced in them. He declared, “The king asks that you welcome his son. May you show him the honor and glory reserved for a king's heir. In turn, he will be raised in the Milisarian way. He will follow our traditions and laws and fight for his home world as a Milisarian Knight. He has the exclusive honor of being the first child born from a human and Milisa
rian union. Will you accept him as one of our own?"

The crowd cheered in response and shouted, "We will accept the king's son into this world as one of our own. May he grow as strong and brave as his father!"

Queen Destiney stepped forward and King Siefer handed her the baby. He announced, "We have given a name to our son. May it be written in our history scrolls and remembered in our songs. His name shall now and forever be Scyon! All hail Scyon!"

The crowd answered, "All hail Scyon!"

Nabvan took his turn addressing the crowd, “I, Nabvan of Milisaria, swear to protect and care for Scyon in the event that his parents can not. He will be treated as my own, yet raised to revere his father. Will you accept me as his guardian?'

The resounding answer was, "We accept Nabvan as guardian!"

Alexis spoke, "I, Alexis, of Earth and Milisaria, swear to protect and care for Scyon in the event that his parents can not. He will be treated as my own, yet raised to honor his mother. Will you accept me as his guardian?"

The reply came, "We accept the human Alexis as guardian."

It was done. Nabvan and Alexis would be required to fight to their death for Scyon should the need arise. They did not take such a promise lightly.

Siefer watched as Scyon was passed among the crowd to receive their blessings. It was a proud and poignant moment for him. Tomorrow, he would have to tell Destiney that he was leaving. It was now time to begin fulfilling his promises as king. He knew her heart would ache in his absence, but she could not accompany him on this trip. Their rulership was too new for them both to abandon the city. Besides, he was unsure of what he would find in the villages. They had been ignored for too long.
