Isvalla answered only one of my questions. “You begin them now.”

I began to feel strange — light, like when I shifted into Spectral form. I looked down at myself, and saw my body breaking into bits of light like the ones floating about me. My last thought as I disappeared was: I’m in deep shit.

  Then I was gone.

  Acknowledgments

This book came out fast, so we’ve got a smaller cast around it that the last time round. But that makes my thanks no less profound! (See what I did there?)

Ahem. Without further ado, thanks to:

Kaitlyn, as always, for being steadfast and patient as my first reader and editor in addition to being my partner. Even when your advice isn’t what I want to hear, I always know I should listen. Thank you for helping make this book better. Maybe next time, I’ll accept your edits a bit faster. Maybe.

Rebekah, the wonderful cover designer for this book. Didn’t she do an awesome job? Though I don’t want to give her up, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention you, too, can get her awesome illustrations at vividcover.com.

And, of course, I must thank you, dear reader, who encourages me on and supports me in spinning these fantastical tales. Thanks a bundle!
