Thank you to Melody Guy for your incredible patience and willingness to wade through this manuscript multiple times, positive in your belief that I could make it better. Even when I get my nose out of joint, you love me anyway.

Thank you to my amazing editor, Maria Gomez. You’ve been an absolute pleasure to work with and your joy is infectious. Always personable, always professional—you’re the standard by which all editors should be measured.

My agent, Kevan Lyon, who is always in my corner and has a memory surpassed by none. I have no idea how you do it.

Thank you to my wonderful family, always so patient with my moods—swinging up or down depending on how my manuscript is going. Your love and support mean everything to me.

To the friends who have helped make my life a better and happier place—Leslie Thompson, Marina Adair, Nancy Naigle, Tracy Brogan, Rebecca Zanetti, Jill Sanders, and Catherine Bybee.

To my amazing publishing team at Montlake Romance—“thank you” seems too inadequate for how thankful I am to be a part of Montlake and APub. Anh, Jessica, Susan, Kim . . . and all those behind the scenes that do the cover, the copy, the editing, the proofing, the marketing. You’re all stars to me!
