Harmony's Healing (Downtown Book 2)
Page 20
An older woman? Even hotter. “How much older? You don’t look more than 28.”
“You. Are.Too. Sweet.” She kisses me after every word.
“So, you won’t tell me your name or your age. I’ll just call you my mystery lady, then.”
“Whatever works,” she shrugs.
I still have her bound against me. Her hands land on my shoulders while my hands stay planted on her ass. “Can I see you again? I’ll be in town one more night. I’ll get you another backstage pass….please?”
She smirks at me. “I’ll be here.”
She just made my day. My turn for a comeback. I kiss the side of her neck and huskily promise in her ear, “Next time, it will be my turn. I may be younger, but I have a mouth you’ll never forget either. I’ll be the best you’ll ever had...and trust me, you’ll be screaming for more.”
“Is that so?” she chuckles, devilishly. “I’ve had a lot of men in my days, so don’t push your luck.”
“I’m not all those men.” Another promise I can certainly keep.
She gives me one last kiss, picks up her purse and leaves me. Unfortunately I don’t see her the next night or anytime after that. Not until the night of Faith and Helene’s party at Montgomery Suites; the night Helene and our music Producer, Gary, announced their engagement.
This mystery woman rocked my cock and my world. I have never met my match, someone who invaded my thoughts, for months on end. My life is now spinning out of control. I am in lust and complete obsession - my days of being a manwhore have gone out the window. My mystery woman is now, my Melody.
First off, I want to thank my street team - BT2090 for your amazing support and enthusiasm! I feel so good knowing you have my back and pimp me out because you believe in my work. It’s an honor.
Those closest to me, Heather Dahlgren, Dawn Sullivan - you ladies mean everything to me. I really don’t know what I’d do without you. #3some always.
My beta readers - I truly appreciate you working your butts off for me to help make my story clean, crisp and ready for the world. Helene, thank you for reading chapter by chapter. I love sharing with you when I finish one and send it out. You make me excited when I get feedback!
Kendra Johnson - You work so hard at being a mom, wife, and Midwife, I still can’t believe you love working with me as well. I sometimes feel really bad pushing my deadlines on you when you are so busy. Yet you manage to get things done on time and push me like no other. I really appreciate you. Without you I don’t think my stories would be worth reading. You help me in so many ways. Thank you!
I am a very lucky woman. I get to write whenever I want because I have a husband who provides for his family. It’s hard at times knowing he is working so hard and here I am having fun getting inside the minds of my characters having sex LOL. He really has no idea how grateful I am for his support. I don’t show it enough. I am, however, hoping someday he will see my endless hours of hard work inside these stories I create. I am so proud of my work. I am proud of my family. My kids, Joey and Raquel - they are the reason for who I am today. I am nobody without my babies. They may be older and more independent, but I am still their mom and will love them and take care of them for the rest of my life. (well hopefully down the road they’ll be taking care of me hahaha)
More thanks to all the blogs who help me with sharing my releases on covers and the books. Facebook is a bitch because the readers don’t get to see all the amazing indie authors out there. FB hides our posts, so we do as much as we can to get noticed. It’s not easy! And thank you to my readers who have stuck by me since the beginning. Thank you for continuing on reading my stories. I love what I do. I do it for those that are dedicated readers. I appreciate your loyalty.
Shauna Kruse (Kruse Images and Photography) - My dear friend! We’ve had such a great ride together. Your support means everything to me. I love how we are a team and have each other’s backs. I am blessed to know you. Thank you for another outstanding cover picture. I love you! (BTW Harmony’s last name should tell you how much I love you)
Kari Ayasha (Cover to Cover Designs) - Girl, how I am SO happy I chose you to design my covers. You absolutely blow my mind with your creativity. You are always there when I am ready for a cover. You listen to me and work so damn hard to create what I envision. You’re easy to work with and I couldn’t be more happy to call you my friend. We’ve become close so quickly I can’t imagine not having you in my life. Thank you for making Danny’s picture more gorgeous for me. Love you!
Stacey Ryan Blake (Champagne Formats) - You totally ROCK out on formatting. What a gift you have. I could never do the formatting. I suck at it. I am so happy I was recommended to use you. Thank you for always making my interiors look beautiful! I love working with you!
Daniel Wells - Danny boy - My awesome, amazing, gorgeous cover model of a friend. I really am so honored that you took a chance on me. I can’t describe how amazing it feels that I am your first book cover (which in my opinion is outrageous). You have become such a close friend. I truly love you and your family. We will always be a team no matter what. Thank you for inviting me into your life, sharing pieces of who you are. This book wouldn’t have happened without your face in my head. You really are Danny Jay. XO
