“I missed you,” I said
“I know. I missed you.”
He walked around from the back of my chair, picked me up and cradled me within his arms. I wrapped my arms around Austin’s neck; my lips found his. I left myself behind, losing myself in this kiss, the softness of his lips, and the deepness of his tongue while it tangled with mine. It was hard to pull my lips away, but I somehow found the will.
“So how did things go today?” I asked.
Austin brushed his lips softly across mine. He licked his lips. Gave me his sexy crooked grin. “Damn baby, you taste so good.”
I giggled. “Thanks, babe.”
He kissed me deeply before he nuzzled my ear, outlining my ear with the tip of his tongue. This sent my skin blazing. Warm breath brushed my neck as he whispered, “No baby, thank you.”
“For what?”
“For waiting up for me,” he said. He nuzzled my neck once more. “For looking so tempting in those pink panties which make me so want to taste the rainbow.” He ran the tip of his nose down my jaw. “For kissing me….”
“Babe…I love you but you are killing me. How did things go today?”
“Well.” He kissed the tip of my nose. “How do you feel about moving to California after the wedding?”
“Are you serious?”
Austin smiled. “I will be filming here in January.”
I laughed out loud, the corners of my mouth turning up. I was smiling from ear to ear. I had to put my hand over my eyes. “I knew they would love you, how could they not. I am so proud of you.” The tears well up then run down my cheeks. In the next moment, Austin’s fingers swiped down my cheek.
“Winter, why are you crying?”
It was hard to describe, hard to fully answer his question. I really was happy for Austin. He had reached his dream. But there was a part of me which worried about him, worried about the demands of fame, worried about us and all the time apart.
“I am just so happy for you.” I paused biting at my bottom lip. “And, I am also a little bit scared of what this means for us.” I admitted, then immediately felt bad I had said that. My insecurities, my fears, my worries should have stayed silent.
“Scared of what?”
“It’s nothing,” I replied, touching his face. “Don’t worry, I really am fine. I’m just being silly. I’m a little tired I guess.”
“Winter, I love you more than anything. I promise nothing will ever change how I feel about you. Nothing can ever change us. You are beyond important to me. You are necessary. No.” His brow creased serious. “Beyond necessary, you are what makes me whole. I could not live without you. Please do not be scared for us. You are my life. Everything else is secondary. ”
“I know,” I said. I looked away.
Austin’s voice was softly tempting. “Please, look at me.” I gazed back into the never-ending gray of his eyes, watching them glitter. “I promise to always love you, Winter, forever.”
He kissed me with a passion. His arms pressed me tight to his chest. My lips moved with his; his warm breath mixed with mine while his anticipation of me melted into my anticipation of him. The way he kissed me should be outlawed.
“Are you sure you are tired?” he whispered seductively against my lips.
“Um…I think I could be persuaded to stay up a little while longer.”
Austin’s lips brushed across my lips then down my cheek. He carried me in through the terrace doors, past the leather arm chairs then started down the hall. My blood raced through my veins, my mouth was fevered against his. This feeling was different, more overpowering, more devastating than ever before. I always wanted him. Needed him. But something inside of me in this moment truly feared losing him, so I fought needlessly to keep him. My desire for Austin was crushing. I craved him, like an addiction. My hands roamed over his shoulders then tangled into his hair. Austin could not hold me tight enough; he could not be close enough. At this moment the need was physical pain for him. It raged through my body, vibrating off him.
“You have no idea what you do to me,” he said eager, his warm breath against my throat.
“I know what you do to me,” I whispered, finding his mouth again.
Austin shifted my body until my back was pressed firm against the wall. I could not stop my hunger for him so I wrapped my legs around his waist. Next, I draped arms around his strong shoulders and neck. I craved him with an insatiable yearning. I needed to feel him inside of me, pressing deep, hard, thrusting the fear from my body. I knew he could feel the absolute desire burning over my flesh which was flaming from my mouth, my tongue. Austin pressed his body in against mine while one arm wound around my waist and the other hand tore my panties in one swift movement. There was the ripping sound of fabric then the material fell free from my body.
“Baby,” he groaned.
I released my grip from his neck. My fingers slipped between the buttons on his shirt. I ripped his buttons free to expose his perfect chest. My eyes worshiped him. My mouth pressed firm to his throat. I pulled my lips from his flesh and gazed at him from beneath my lashes. His eyes burned. His hand found my hair. Tangling his fingers into it he pulled, exposing my throat to his mouth.
“Winter.” He moaned my name against my throat. “My Winter,” he said. I ground my hips into him. I could feel his body anxious and fevered against mine. The need ripping between our bodies was palpable.
“Please….” My hand found him hard beneath his jeans. I stroked him.
“Is that what you need, baby?”
“Yes.”
Austin conceded to my wish. We never made it to the bedroom. We never made it past the hallway.
Chapter Ten
FRIGHTENED
I woke in a panic. I glanced around the unfamiliar space to see the French doors open. I was in the large white bed of the bedroom. I turned to see the clock. With a rub to my eyes, I realized it was five-thirty in the morning. Austin was gone, not next to me. I covered myself in the crisp white sheet of the bed, clutching a large clump of the fabric in my hand then placed my feet on the floor. I made it down the two steps of the platform which the bed was placed upon then walked toward the doors. A long train of bed sheet flowed behind me on the floor.
I could see Austin. My panic left. Totally subsided. Austin was standing outside the doors in the dim light. He had taken a shower. His midnight colored hair was wet and wore nothing but a towel. He was like an angel, perfect, tall. The light which was breaking slightly across the sky played softly off his bare back, outlining the perfect musculature of his structure. He was truly built like a god. My eyes roamed over his being, reveling as they always do.
Austin turned to look at me, his face smooth, peaceful, perfect. “I’m sorry, did I wake you?”
“What’s wrong?” I said, even surprised at myself.
Why am I being so strange so afraid something has changed?
He reached out for me. “Absolutely nothing is wrong. Tell me why you are frightened?”
He knows me so well.
“I….” I could not tell him I was afraid of losing him. “Why are you outside?” I asked.
“I couldn’t sleep.”
“Why?”
“I was thinking about you.”
I was aware of confusion upon my features as I processed his words.
“Me? What about?”
“I was thinking about the color of your eyes, how deep the green turns. They turn to emerald when you look at me.”
His voice was smooth like dripping honey. Without the ability to look away from him, I watched him walk toward me. Even after all this time together, I was taken back with the fact this amazing man was here with me.
“I was thinking about your lips.” His fingers outlined my bottom lip. “The perfect full shape of them, and the way they feel when they are against mine, like luscious satin.” Austin’s thumb rested in the middle of my lips. “I was thinking how they swell after we kiss, how pink, how moist.” He smiled, flash
ing me the whites of his teeth. “And your pout. I love your pout.”
I am an idiot. He really loves me. I should not have been so scared earlier. Scared I would lose him.
“Oh.” I mumbled, gazing up at him from beneath my lashes.
I wanted to wrap my body around his body and loose myself within him. I hungered for his touch, his mouth, his body intertwined within mine.
“The way you look at me. God, Winter. You can never know what that does to me, or how I feel when I see that look of hunger in your eyes.”
And it was hunger, a soul deep hunger for him. In many ways, there are no words to describe how much I love, long, need, want, hunger for Austin. It is more than just physical. It’s like every particle of my being requires him, belongs to him. Austin is truly my heart, the very air I breathe, the very essence of what my life-force requires. Without doubt, he is part of my soul.
“Austin, I—”
“Shh.” Austin’s hand brushed back my hair, exposing my neck, my shoulders. His lips found my collarbone. “I was thinking about your skin, how soft, how beautiful it is.” His nose skimmed up my throat, over my chin; his lips found mine. He gently kissed them. I wanted to quake but perhaps I was. “I was thinking about your arms.” Austin continued. His lips on my shoulder. “The way you hold me, the way you wrap them around me. And your hands….” He paused, picking up my one free hand and placing it to his face. “The way your hands feel when you touch me.” He turned my hand over, exposing my inner wrist and began to kiss it softly, “So delicate, so perfect.” Austin seemed to trace the light blue veins upon my wrist with his nose.
“Um.” I tried to speak. While Austin was telling me how he felt, it was really how I felt. Austin was describing how I feel when he looks at me, when he touches me. He makes me feel wanted, loved, cherished, beautiful.
“Shh,” he whispered. The tip of his index finger pressed against my mouth gently. “I’m not finished telling you what I was thinking about.” The palm of his hand pressed against my cheek. “I was thinking about the blush of your cheek, how it turns the perfect color of pink rose petals.”
I closed my eyes, listening to him make love to me with his words and allowed the soft velvet tones of his voice to encase me. I basked in the warmth of his touch.
“I was thinking about your back,” he said. He moved around me. His warm hands ran over my shoulder blades. “The curves.” His fingers loosened my grasp on the bed sheet which wrapped around me. It fell free from my body and hit the concrete terrace below in a stark white billow.
“Babe,” I murmured, “you are making me chill.”
“Mmm.” He crooned. Austin strummed his fingers down my spine, coming to rest at the small of my back. He pressed a soft kisses on the top of my shoulder then his hands roamed my shape. “The shape, the outline of your body, it is perfect,” he continued. I shuddered. His hands ran over my backside. “The roundness, the fullness of your sweet heart shaped ass.” I felt his fingers graze the line of me. “Gorgeous and so tempting.” Then his hands found my hips. “And your hips, the way they move.”
Austin’s hands continued to my sides. Wrapped around my waist. His fingers started to move. He was making circles around my navel. His chest was pressed up against my back.
“I was thinking about your perfect bellybutton, the way you shiver when I touch you this way.” And I was shivering.
“Austin—”
“I was thinking about the gentle curve of your neck,” he whispered on my skin. He brushed the hair from my neck then nuzzled. “Beautiful.” He murmured before he took my earlobe in one tantalizing touch of his tongue and started sucking softly.
My body continued to shake in one slow wave of desire.
“I was thinking about your hair.” Austin combed his fingers through my hair. “The perfect shade of caramel and how it mixes into the creamy color of your skin when it hits the curve of your back. I like to watch how it caresses you. I love how it feels like long strands of silk and how it feels against my skin.” Austin snuggled his nose in my hair and breathed. “The shine, the shimmer of it in the sun and how your hair smells in the rain, fresh floral, and fruit.”
He scooped me up into his arms. We were walking slowly back into the bedroom. He laid me down on the bed and continued. “I was thinking about your toes.” His hands wrapped around my ankle as gentle as if he were holding something breakable within them. “How perfect they are.” His lips kissed the tip of my big toe before his lips ran over the top of my foot caressing my ankle. “Everything about you is perfection,” he said. He placed a hot kiss to the arch of my foot causing me to wiggle and giggle. “And your giggle, I love that sexy giggle.”
Austin’s hands swiped up my calf. He kissed my right calf.
“Babe.” I breathed.
“I was thinking about the shape of your legs, the curve of your knee.” Austin’s mouth followed up over my knee, kissing it. His warm breath tickled my knee sending chills over the surface of my skin. He shifted. The towel around his waist fell, freeing him. Austin’s hands ran up my sides. He kissed my navel. I experienced the warm sensation of Austin’s tongue as it made its way along the surface of my stomach. He watched the familiar twitch of my muscles in response and he smiled.
“And that,” he said. “I will never get tired of seeing how your body reacts to me, my touch.”
“Austin.”
“Shh,” he whispered upon my navel. “I was thinking about how you taste. So sweet, and when my tongue tastes your desire, your sweet pleasure, it’s like finding nirvana.”
His body moved. He was pressed against my body gently. My body was trembling with need.
“To feel your quiver on my tongue while I taste you, God…there is nothing better.” Austin tongued my inner thigh then moved, giving my intimate parts one tingling swipe of his tongue. “Oh yeah,” he licked me then sucked my pert nub just once. “Nirvana.”
I seemed to lose my very delicate hold on my need. Unable to maintain any longer I let loose of a moan. My body arched. Austin’s hands were at my breasts, his lips following. “I was thinking about your breasts, about the complete absolute perfection of them.” His hands and his mouth were warm while he caressed them. “And this.” He softly skimmed a fingertip over the apex of my nipple. “I love to watch how they perk when I touch them, when I kiss them.” Austin’s teeth softly grazed against each of my taut nipples. Biting at my bottom lip, I moaned. I was beginning to lose my mind.
I might just implode.
“Austin.”
Austin looked at me, his face beautiful, his dark gray eyes burning into mine.
“Now you know what I was thinking, but I was also thinking….” He spread my thighs slowly, gazing at the full on truth of me with love, lust, and appreciation. “Ah, damn baby, absolutely gorgeous.” His large hands shimmered up my inner thighs. “So perfect, so inviting, so warm, so pink like your blush.” He breathed. Austin placed his index finger to my mouth inserting it. “I want to watch you.” I began to tremble, my breathing becoming more pronounced. “I want to watch you come. You are so beautiful when you cum.”
I sucked Austin’s finger in an imitation of how I suck his cock. His eyes flashed then he slowly pulled his digit from my lips.
“Nice,” he murmured, studying my mouth before placing his wet finger between my legs. He found my intimate feminine folds. Watching me, he slid two fingers up and down slowly. “So damn beautiful.”
I felt his fingers making slow circles on my stimulated universe which Austin was not only the center of, but the master of.
“Austin, do you know what you do to me?”
“Baby.” He exhaled a low breathy sound. I moaned at the sensation of his two long fingers pressing inside of me, angling, hitting my sweet spot. “Yes,” he said, answering my question. “I know.” My back arched. I closed my eyes. “Stay with me, Winter, look at me.”
So I did. I looked at him, into Austin’s eyes, while he made me come.
Austin woke before I did. I realized this fact when I opened my eyes to the bright shining sun, only to see he was indeed out of bed. Of course, neither of us would be functioning at top speed, having very little sleep. But I must say, to be tired from fantastic sex with multiple organisms is the best kind of tired.
Over breakfast, the phone would not stop ringing. The first few calls Austin received, he used the speakerphone in an attempt to multitask, integrating breakfast preparation with business calls. It did surprise me when I recognized Zander’s booming voice. Austin was on a conference call with people from Paramount. They were already making plans, going over itineraries for the next few months, and it was just past eight in the morning the day after he accepted the role in their movie. It sounded like Austin would be more than busy, and as horrible as it may sound, those little bits of insecurity started to creep back into my mind. I tried to focus on my English muffin, buttering it then slathering it with strawberry jelly. I did not want to think about him leaving, but I could tell his conversation was leading me to that very conclusion.
I was relieved when the other phone line rang, until I answered it. My relief quickly turned to panic while I spoke to Austin’s mother. I glanced over see Austin’s eyes on me. I knew my conversation would interfere with his current phone call, so I got up from the table. I dragged the phone outside with me, out onto the back terrace. The sun was warm on my skin.
“What’s wrong?” I heard Austin say. He was standing in front of me; his face worried.
I put my hand out, holding up one finger.
“Okay,” I said then paused to listen to Judith, Austin’s mother. “Do you think you can get things sorted out?” I asked.
“Winter,” Austin said, impatient now.
“Okay, well thank you. I think Austin and I will be heading back to New York tomorrow. I will see you then. I really do appreciate everything.”
Austin’s face was filled with concern. As soon as my call ended he said, “What?”
“I guess there is a problem with the caterers. Your mother seems to have things fixed or at least we hope she does, but we may not get the prime rib,” I explained, irritated.
