Nita’s reticence broke down at last. A loud slap rang out and for just a moment, Ammon’s struggles ceased. If nothing else, the look of shock on his face was worth all the trouble he’d put Kitty through.
“Quit dancin’ around, you little bitch!” Nita snapped. Her voice had taken on an accent so unfamiliar it took Kitty a moment to understand her words.
“Look, just—” Ammon started to say. His words gave way to a muffled yelp, however, as another loud smack sounded.
“Don’t you say a word,” Nita growled. “You just stay quiet and take this.”
Kitty watched, simultaneously delighted and dumbfounded as the formerly shy Nita reached around and grabbed hold of the man’s cock. She gave it a single, firm stroke from base to tip, then descended lower and took hold of Ammon’s balls. Though she didn’t squeeze, there was no missing the fear that flashed across the man’s face.
“Two choices,” Nita said. “You can do exactly what I say and try to enjoy yourself. Or, I promise I will make you regret defying the Captain. What’s it going to be?”
Ammon said nothing. Instead, he hung his head and sagged against the cuffs. Nita chuckled wickedly and her hands abandoned the man’s genitals as she began to line herself up. Fortunately for her, the strap-on was large, but not so large as to be unwieldy.
Ammon groaned pitifully, legs quivering as the petite girl grasped his hips and thrust home. Her small frame was almost entirely eclipsed by the larger man, but Kitty thought she caught a glimpse of a wolfish smile on her face. A second later, the mood changed as both Nita and her unwilling partner let out simultaneous moans. And unless Kitty was quite mistaken, Ammon’s was undeniably the louder and more enthusiastic of the two.
“There,” Nita murmured. Her arms slipped back around the man’s waist as she began to playfully fondle his dangling shaft. “Was that so bad? I bet you even enjoyed it a bit.”
Vhosa hissed impatiently in Kitty’s ear and twisted about to drive himself forward in a half-thrust. Sympathetic, she stroked his hood and squeezed down on the twin shafts currently stretching her open. Her ass ached in response, but she barely felt it. All her attention was focused on the meaty rods and the way their tandem throbbing sent an electric thrill shooting up her spine.
“Good boy,” Kitty purred. “Why don’t you show Ammon what he’s missing out on?”
The Naga wasted no time. His coils tightened around Kitty’s legs, hiking one and nearly toppling her in the process. If it hadn’t been for the way his slender claws seized hold of her wrists, she might have face planted. But, instead, her unsteadiness merely caused the dual cocks to press her deepest places in all sorts of novel ways.
“Hasss been long time,” Vhosa whispered. “Captain hasss forgotten Vhosssa?”
His voice wavered between a hiss and a grunt with each purposeful thrust. Despite the obvious teasing in his tone, a certain quality suggested a hint of actual insecurity.
“Never,” Kitty assured him. She pried one wrist free of Vhosa’s grip and eased it down between their bodies. Trailing her fingers along the textured scales of the Naga’s flared cloaca, she resisted the urge to reach for the shafts penetrating her. “You think I could forget these?”
Hissing happily, Vhosa nuzzled the back of Kitty’s neck. Opposite them, however, a different scene was unfolding.
Nita’s hands were locked on Ammon’s hips, holding him steady as she gyrated her own. Judging from the man’s muffled groans, throbbing erection, and shaking limbs, the diminutive woman was not going easy on him. Rhythmic, sloppy sounds filled the air as she pounded his ass with the strap-on, angling the artificial member this way and that.
“You like that?” Nita said. “You like taking it from behind?”
Head lolling, Ammon whimpered. To Kitty’s surprise, the man’s expression was far from one of discomfort. His brow was furrowed and his eyes were closed.
He nodded weakly.
“Yes,” he whispered. “Don’t stop… please….”
“Well, I’ll be damned!” Kitty laughed. A sudden, forceful thrust from Vhosa interrupted her laugh and turned it into a delighted whimper of her own. The irony of which, as soon as the arousing sensation faded, only made her laugh harder. Leaning back, she stifled a moan as she craned her neck to make eye contact with her partner.
“Yesss?”
“We ought to reward him. How do you feel about sharing?” Kitty whispered. She licked her lips to drive the point home.
Without saying a word, the Naga made his thoughts abundantly clear. His serpentine body tightened further around Kitty’s, so hard that it made her gasp in near-pain. Lifting her feet clear off the ground, he slid closer to the bound man. As he released his grip on Kitty’s remaining wrist, she flopped forward—but only for a moment. Vhosa’s claws caught hold of her hair, hauling her face upright and leaving it inches from the man’s pulsating member. The new angle offered plenty of opportunities, not the least of which was an unexpectedly erotic view of Nita’s strap-on thrusting deeply into Ammon’s backside.
“Who’d have thought?” Kitty murmured. Grinning, she nuzzled the underside of the man’s member. Up close, he smelled of musk and desperation.
It was getting harder to think clearly, a constant buzz of pleasure making Kitty’s thoughts feel as though they were simultaneously racing and dragging. From behind—not to mention inside and all around—Vhosa’s passionate efforts were beginning to pay off. Kitty mumbled a distracted curse as a preemptive tremor shot through her abdomen, making her insides clench down in anticipation. She didn’t have much time, and she wanted to enjoy every possible second of Ammon’s tormented climax.
“Give it to me, Vhosa!” she demanded, allowing her lips to caress Ammon’s shaft as she spoke. “Show this bastard what a real male can do!”
The Naga hissed and began to thrust ferociously, claws tightening in her hair. One slipped out, unable to find enough purchase, and the Naga immediately used it to cup her chin. For a second, Kitty thought he planned to choke her and nearly fought. But then she realized the real intent and giggled at the challenge.
Moaning as she was taken hard, Kitty stuck out her tongue and began to tease Ammon’s cock, just below the swollen head. The man shuddered, letting out a moan of his own.
Unfortunately for Ammon, it was Vhosa who won the day. Kitty hung her head, eyes shutting of their own accord as her orgasm finally caught up to her. She shuddered, squeezing down on both ends of the Naga’s hemipenis and letting out a long, throaty groan of ecstasy. With the serpentine coils wrapped so tightly around her, there was no chance for mindless thrashing. All she could do was hang there, immobilized, as wave after wave of overdue bliss washed through her aching body.
Vhosa, himself, was not far behind. A few seconds before Kitty’s orgasm had fully faded, the Naga let out a furious hiss and shuddered. His twin members throbbed, swelling and erupting to fill both her holes with his seed. Even sensitive as she was, Kitty could feel nothing but the warmth of it until the Naga’s climax ended and his cum began to dribble out around his rapidly shrinking cocks.
She didn’t have much time to consider it, however, because scarcely a second later Ammon followed suit. The man shouted with unmistakable ecstasy, untouched member quivering violently. Kitty raised her head, then yelped as the first burst of his seed caught her squarely on the nose. She tried to shy away from it, but even in his half-conscious state, Vhosa’s claws still held her fast. As a result, she was forced to endure—squinting and grumbling—three more streams of warm cum splattering against her cheek before the flow subsided enough to no longer reach her.
Only then did she hear the telltale hissing of the Naga’s laughter.
“Sssorry,” Vhosa murmured, loosening his grip with both his claws and elongated body. “Could not resssissst.”
Legs half-numb, Kitty was too focused on not falling over to respond. As soon as she’d found her balance, however, she wiped the cum from her face and smeared it across the Naga’s n
eck, just below his broad hood. Immediately, the male recoiled in obvious disgust.
“Jerk!” she snapped. Then she laughed. “See? How do you like it?”
Ammon groaned suddenly, recapturing their attention. His legs trembled, barely able to support him as Nita eased the strap-on free of his ass.
“That’s just perfect,” she said. “Everyone gets off except me!”
Despite her words, the broad grin on the girl’s face made Kitty smile by mere association. She stretched luxuriously and leered at her.
“Is that what you’re after?” Kitty teased.
“No, no! I was just—”
“I know,” Kitty cut her off. “I’m just kidding.”
Smile fading, she turned her attention to Ammon.
“Ammon.”
At the sound of his name, the man practically jumped. Bound as he was, it mostly amounted to lifting his head a bit too fast. His eyes were wide, face still bright crimson.
“Yes?” he whispered.
“Did you learn your lesson?”
He swallowed, pausing for a moment before answering.
“Yes.”
“And what lesson is that?”
Another pause.
“I need to submit. To follow your orders.”
“Very good,” Kitty said, nodding. “Now, here’s a test. I order you to answer me truthfully. Did you enjoy that?”
Apparently unable to bring himself to speak, the man simply nodded.
“Good,” Kitty said. Glancing over her shoulder, she nodded at Vhosa. “Thank you, Vhosa. That will be all.”
Waiting until the Naga had exited the room—still scraping at his scales where she had smeared Ammon’s seed—Kitty lazily began to recover her clothes.
“I think that’s enough punishment for now, Ammon,” she said. “I’ll be back later to let you out. First, I believe there was some mention of getting our new pilot laid!”

“So there I am, staring down these three drakashi—”
“No!”
Nita barely managed to squeak the word out before breaking down into a fit of giggles. Sprawled horizontally across the Feronia’s pilot chair, she spun the seat in circles and smacked the padded side with her fist, over and over.
“There’s no way!” she protested, still laughing. “I don’t believe a word of it!”
Grinning, Kitty struggled to don her most earnest look. Reclining in her own chair, she barely managed it in time for Nita’s swiveling seat to bring her back into view.
“Every word!” she lied. “And believe me, they had more than fighting in mind!”
Nita’s laughter intensified, then faded as an alarm trilled out from the console in front of her. She sat up immediately, tensed, and then relaxed.
“Almost there,” she announced, suddenly businesslike. “Auto-nav says twenty minutes until sub-light. Maybe two hours to Adrastos.”
Kitty nodded to herself, only half listening. The last two weeks, ever since they’d managed to fully bring Ammon into line, had been heaven. Truthfully, she’d even considered bypassing the merchant colony entirely. With more than enough food, fuel, and consorts, there wasn’t really a need for the layover. But long experience had taught her that there was never any harm in stopping, if for no other reason than to find out the local gossip.
“Well?” Nita asked, breaking Kitty out of her daydreams. The girl had spun her chair back around and leaned forward. “So what did you do about the drakashi?”
“Oh, right! So, I’m looking around—”
The door to the bridge opened with an almost imperceptible hiss. Engrossed in her story, Kitty didn’t even hear it. Instead, it was the shifting of Nita’s eyes that clued her in. She spun, smile widening at the sight of Lio.
The Arsalian stood awkwardly in the doorway. He shifted his weight from one foot to another as if uncertain whether he was allowed to enter. Though he wore only a simple pair of sleeping trousers, the better part of his chest was covered by the stiff, spines of his mane. He worried them idly with one hand as his eyes glanced from Kitty to Nita, then back.
“Sorry,” he said. “Am I interrupting?”
Kitty shook her head, waving him closer.
“Of course not,” she said. “I was just telling Nita about that time on Lethe Station. Remember? With the drakashi?”
“Oh.” Lio frowned, dropping his gaze. “Kitty, could I talk to you for a second?”
Smile fading, Kitty cocked her head.
“Sure. What is it?”
“I…” Lio hesitated and swallowed nervously. “I think it would be better if we spoke in private, Captain.”
Groaning, Kitty squeezed her eyes shut and pinched the bridge of her nose.
“Lio, how long have we known each other? There’s no need to be so formal. What’s up?”
“I need to leave.”
Kitty sat up, eyes wide. Her heart, in the span of a second, had begun to pound hard enough to make her chest ache. She stared at Lio in disbelief, unable to think, much less speak. From the corner of her eye, she saw Nita spin her chair away and face the monitors to give them the impression of privacy.
“Let’s talk in my cabin,” Kitty said. She’d meant to speak the words with her usual unflappable voice but instead, they came out as a strangled whisper. To her relief, Lio didn’t move to comfort her. Rather, he nodded silently and left.
Kitty sat there, unmoving, for a long time after the door to the bridge had closed. Her chest continued to hurt and it felt like she’d been kicked in the gut, but otherwise, she was numb. Even piecing together a coherent thought was impossible.
Lio, leaving? It couldn’t be. It couldn’t happen. The Arsalian had been with her for years. He’d been a constant in her life nearly as long as she’d been aboard the Feronia. What could possibly have happened that would make him leave it all behind?
Leave her behind?
“Kitty? Do you want to talk?”
Nita had spun back around and was staring at her. Her face was gentle, eyes full of concern. That was easily the worst part of it. Kitty could stand being hated or resented; she’d stared down her share of it. But pity was too much to bear.
Without answering, audibly or otherwise, she rose and left the bridge.
Lio was waiting for her in her cabin. He sat silently on the foot of her bed, feet dangling over the side with only his toes resting against the bare floor. His eyes were glued to a blank spot on the wall and he barely even looked over as Kitty entered.
She gazed at him, heart beating painfully hard.
“You want to leave?” she whispered.
Lio grimaced, hanging his head. Still, he refused to look at her.
“I don’t want to,” he said. “I’m happy here. I care about you, Kitty.”
“Then why? I don’t understand!”
“I know. I’m sorry.”
Kitty’s eyes burned and it wasn’t until a tear trailed down her cheek and dripped onto her forearm that she realized she was crying. Furious at herself, she sniffled and wiped her eyes with a palm. Folding her arms, she stomped to the edge of the bed and settled with her back to him.
“Explain!” she snapped. As soon as she’d said it, a wave of grief nearly closed up her throat and she choked back a sob. “Please.”
“It’s my sister,” Lio said in a quiet voice.
Kitty looked over, frowning as she blinked away tears. In their five years together, Lio had never once mentioned his family. Though, come to think of it, she’d never asked either. Most of the men who ended up staying with her obviously had rather painful pasts and she purposefully tried to steer conversations toward more pleasant subjects.
“She needs me right now,” he continued. “I’m sorry, I can’t say more. But there’s a ship on Adra
stos that can take me to her.”
“I can take you there!” Kitty protested. It was becoming increasingly difficult to keep the desperation out of her voice. No doubt Lio was already conscious of it.
Either way, he shook his head.
“It’s complicated. She made me promise to come alone. I’m sorry.”
“But… why now? Why all of a sudden?”
“I really can’t say.”
Before she knew what she was doing, Kitty was on her feet.
“This isn’t fair!” she shouted, slamming her fists against the bed hard enough to make Lio turn. “I don’t… I don’t understand! You have to leave and can’t tell me why? How does that make sense? What can you tell me?”
She knew, on an intellectual level at least, that she was out of control. Lio would never lie to her; if he was withholding information it had to be for a good reason. But, being kept in the dark only made the fury and heartbreak worse by orders of magnitude. It felt irrationally like a betrayal.
Slowly, almost cautiously, Lio rose as well. He rounded the corner of his bed, expression every bit as stricken as Kitty’s and gently drew her into a hug. She fought him for a second before yielding, burying her face in the ticklish tendrils of his mane and weeping softly.
“That this is breaking my heart, too,” he murmured, gently stroking her back with a hand. “I’m so, so sorry to put you through this Kitty. I never wanted to leave. And I promise I’ll come back as soon as I’m able. If… if you’ll still have me.”
Kitty trembled as she sobbed, arms tightening around Lio’s back as if she could keep him with her through sheer grit.
“Don’t go,” she whimpered.
For a moment, Lio said nothing. He simply held her, nuzzling the top of her head with his cheek.
“I have to,” he whispered. “I made a promise.”
“Break it.”
“I can’t. But I’ll make you a promise, too.”
Gently peeling himself free of Kitty’s arms, he looked her square in the eye and flashed a brave smile.
