A Night To Remember
Page 2
And tonight of all nights, he wanted to take it moment by moment as the wonderful, amazing reality sank in with each kiss of Abel’s lips, each caress of his hands…they were husbands.
Married.
Together forever.
Their dream had come true.

“We may have bitten off more than we can chew,” Axel concluded when the twins and two little boys raced into the house, their energy spiking rather than waning. “If they decide to band together and turn on us, we’re going to be in trouble.”
Clint nodded and absently tugged at his tie until it loosened. Though the cowboy was incredibly handsome in a tux—he was clearly not comfortable in one. “I need to change,” he said and headed for the bedroom.
Axel watched him go and desperately wanted to follow, but knew too well what would become of that. And with four kids in the house, that wasn’t an acceptive objective at the moment. He wouldn’t make it through the night, though, without indulging in the cowboy. They would just have to keep their usual noise level to a minimum.
Good luck with that.
Axel was anxious to change out of his tux as well but waited for Clint to return before he went into the bedroom. The entire event of the wedding and reception had had a powerful effect on him on multiple levels and both his heart and his body craved the cowboy more than ever; the two could not be undressed in front of each other right now.
The twins had changed their clothes back at Abel and Devlin’s place, but Jules and Reuben still wore their little tuxes. Once Axel was changed, he had the little boys turn in their suits for play clothes. As soon as he turned them loose, they raced out into the backyard with the twins and Jonah. Jules’ pup, Cowboy, wasn’t there, but Cory promised to bring him over the next morning, so he could spend the day playing with them as well.
Night was setting in but the rear porch lights from both their place and Kane and Cochise’s house provided plenty of illumination for the kids to play in the large extended yard. The shadowed corners supplied adequate hiding places for hide-n-seek or whatever game they might invent.
Axel stood at the rear open door and watched them. The twins—though fourteen—thoroughly enjoyed Jules and Reuben and eagerly played their games.
Clint appeared behind him, and Axel leaned back against his thick chest. The cowboy’s want of him nudged his ass and Axel smiled, drawing the man’s strong arms around his body. Clint nuzzled his neck and raked his teeth along the tendon, sending a pleasant shiver through Axel.
“Tonight,” Axel moaned and discreetly pushed his ass into Clint’s hard crotch. “I’ll take care of that for you.”
“With kids in the house?” Clint nipped his sensitive skin and tightened his arms.
“They’ll fall asleep eventually,” Axel breathed shakily. “And when they do, they’ll be out cold. They’ve had a long, exhaustive day. It just hasn’t hit them yet, but it will.”
Clint nodded and rubbed his lips through Axel’s lengthening curls. “Do you think those two boys will really be boyfriends one day?”
Sighing, Axel smiled. “I don’t know. I guess it depends on whether or not they’re actually gay.”
“If one of them is straight,” Clint said. “It’s probably best if they both are.”
Axel understood his meaning; if just one of them turned out to be gay, there was a good chance he would fall in love with the other. It wasn’t an absolute—they might just become best friends and nothing more. But Axel had his doubts. He strongly suspected that Jules, at least, was truly gay. Maybe it was too early to tell, but his affection and protectiveness of Reuben seemed to run deeper than simple “child” bonding. If the two boys continued to be a part of one another’s lives as they grew older—and if Nolan had anything to say about it, they would—then Axel had little doubt that Jules’ affection, and love, for Reuben would continue to grow as well. And if Reuben turned out to be straight…Jules could be in for some major heartbreaks ahead.
Think positive. Reuben could just as easily be gay as well. The boy obviously adored Jules. Whether that actually proved anything, Axel didn’t know. But it gave him hope for a future romance between the boys.

“Does Cole and Gabe know we got a room here, too?” Angel squeezed Dane’s hand as they headed for the elevators. They were still in their tuxes and Angel couldn’t wait to get out of them and really get their wedding night started.
“I didn’t tell them,” Dane smiled. “Although they might hear us.”
“Everyone will likely hear us,” Angel laughed. “But then, we’ll probably hear those two as well. Too bad we didn’t get the room right next to theirs.” He leaned against Dane and grinned. “We could compete for who had the hottest, wildest sex.”
“Cole and Gabe would be tough to beat,” Dane sighed then chuckled and leaned down, kissing Angel on the mouth. “But I still think we could out-fuck them.”
Angel laughed; he wasn’t entirely sure of that, but he and Dane would have definitely given them a run for their money. Angel gasped when Dane swept him into his arms and planted an intoxicating kiss on his lips. His whole body sizzled, and he hardened to steel. “Mmm,” he moaned into Dane’s mouth and smiled, their lips touching. “You don’t have to convince me. But you can if you want.” He wrapped his arms around Dane’s waist and nuzzled his throat, sucking tiny patches of his skin.
“Fuck…” Dane shuddered as his erection grew, pressing against Angel. “What’s taking this elevator so long?”
The door finally opened and a couple people emerged, casting the two of them curious glances as they stood to the side in each other’s arms, decked out in their tuxes.
They entered the elevator without any added passengers and Dane wrapped his arms around Angel from behind. He kissed the curve of his neck then his ear.
Angel moaned and sank back against him. “Wanna bet Cole and Gabe made out in here?” he smiled.
“Maybe they weren’t alone.”
“They probably would’ve made out anyway,” Angel laughed softly. “It’s not like they’re shy.”
“Not like me, huh?” Dane chuckled and hugged him tighter, sensually kissing his neck.
Angel trembled with delight and smiled. “You? Shy?”
“I can be.”
“No,” Angel shook his head. “You can’t. There’s not a shy bone in your body.” He snuggled his ass against Dane’s bulging crotch. “Especially that one.”
“Is that so?” Dane growled and spun him around, pinning him against the wall. “In that case, maybe I’ll take you right here?”
Angel stared at him, a grin on his face and heat in his eyes. “Are you expecting me to resist?”
“You dirty little cherub,” Dane groaned and grabbed his ass with both hands and lifted him up. Angel immediately wrapped his legs around Dane’s waist as his husband very erotically massaged their crotches together.
“Fuuuck…” Angel whimpered and hugged Dane’s head, kissing him hard. “Oh, my God…I want you so bad, baby.”
Dane squeezed his ass with his strong hands and pushed harder against him, and shoved his face into his neck as he rocked his hips with greater vigor.
“Oh shit…” Angel gasped. “If you keep that up…I won’t be responsible for what happens inside my shorts.”
Dane chuckled and nibbled his skin. “I’ll take all the blame.”
The elevator stopped, and the doors came open. Dane gracefully scooped Angel into his arms and carried him out of the elevator.
“What’re you doing?” Angel laughed, his fingers laced behind Dane’s neck.
“Well…” Dane kissed him as he started down the hallway. “One of us has to carry the other across the threshold, and as tough as you are…I don’t think you could carry me.”
“Ah.” Angel grinned and laid his head on Dane’s shoulder as his husband effortlessly carried him toward their room. He looked up moments later when they rounded the corner and Dane’s footsteps slowed.
/>
Down the corridor, a small group of four to six men stood outside one of the rooms conversing with one another. Angel immediately spotted an open Bible in one man’s hand, and another of the men held a closed one.
All conversation ceased the instant Angel and Dane appeared. The looks they gave the newlyweds caused Angel to stiffen with indignation; who the fuck were they to judge?
“Ignore them,” Dane whispered. “I grew up around these kinds of people, and the best way to deal with them is to ignore them.”
Angel smiled at Dane. “Fuck ‘em.” He tightened his arms around Dane’s neck and kissed him deep and long as Dane approached their door, just a couple rooms down from the men.
Fumbling with the key card as Angel swirled his tongue inside his mouth, Dane finally managed to open the door. As he stepped into the room, Angel looked at the men, grinned and winked. “Hope you boys don’t mind a little noise.”
“Shit,” Dane laughed and packed him into the room as the men stared after them, pure disgust on their faces. Dane kicked the door closed and carried Angel to the bed and laid him down on the soft comforter. “You’re incorrigible,” he murmured and kissed him.
Angel tugged open Dane’s shirt and kissed his chest. “Get naked.” He peeled off Dane’s tux jacket before the man could take over and do it himself.
It took them only moments to undress one another. Dane gently moved Angel further up on the bed against the pillows and sank down against him. He stroked his face and pressed soft kisses to his lips. “I remember that moment when Cole and Gabe told me that one day a beautiful angel was going to walk up to me and snatch my heart away so fast I wouldn’t know what happened.” He slid his fingers through Angel’s soft hair as Angel gazed into his beautiful dark eyes. “I hardly had a chance to tell them they were wrong…when you appeared out of nowhere, reached into my chest…and stole my heart.”
Angel swallowed thickly as tears formed in both their eyes.
“Thank you,” Dane whispered, and Angel felt the magnitude of those two little words and all that they encompassed.
Chapter Three
“This entire day has felt like a dream.” His champagne set aside, Abel removed Devlin’s shirt and jacket and caressed his body. He softly kissed Devlin’s throat. “Until I met you, I never thought I could have all this.” He urged Devlin to sit on the end of the bed then sank to his knees between his legs. “I never thought I’d feel safe enough with someone to trust them with my heart…or my body.” His fingertips trailed down Devlin’s stomach and lingered at the waistband of his pants. “Since we took our vows, I kept having to remind myself over and over throughout the reception that we’re really married.” He leaned up and kissed Devlin on the lips. “That you’re my husband.”
Devlin slid his fingers into Abel’s hair and lifted his face. “Believe me, baby,” he whispered. “I’ll never let you forget it.” He drew Abel into a deep kiss that lasted long as Abel unfastened Devlin’s pants.
“I want my husband naked,” Abel moaned into his mouth. “And ready to be loved on all night long.”
Devlin groaned. “Your husband won’t argue with that.” He leaned back on his hands and lifted his hips as Abel pulled his pants and briefs off, discarding them on the floor.
Abel gazed at his powerful erection, so hard and rigid and eager for attention; no wonder, as they hadn’t made love since chastity vow two days ago. Abel lightly caressed his fingertips up and down the thick shaft, mapping the swollen veins. He moved deeper between Devlin’s legs as his silk robe shrouded his husband’s thighs. Devlin remained propped on his hands as he watched Abel wrap one hand around his hard member and gently stroke.
“Uuhh…” Devlin shuddered, and his head dropped back, eyes heavy and focused on the ceiling. “I love your hands, baby. Mmm…that feels so good.” A shuddered sigh escaped him. “I’ve missed your loving touch, baby.”
They were both hard and ready for intense lovemaking by the time they’d left the reception. Abel knew it wouldn’t take much to get that first release from Devlin…or himself. He applied both hands and twisted his tender palms sensually up and down his husband’s beautiful dick.
“Oh, God…” Devlin sank to his elbows, his breath quickening as Abel squeezed a little harder and pumped a little faster. His thigh muscles flexed as the balls of his feet dug into the carpet, arching his hips, his entire body tense. “Fuck, baby…”
His shaft began to pulse in Abel’s fists and clear juice bubbled from the tip. Abel smiled and dropped his head, sliding his tongue around the plump crown. Devlin’s hips jerked and he gasped sharply, swearing softly.
“Oh, my God, baby…” he panted. “I’m so close…I want to be in your mouth…please…”
Abel was eager to please—especially tonight—and took his shaft into his mouth, slowly drawing it in deeper and deeper, one firm suck at a time.
“Uuhh—God…” Devlin dropped onto his back and grabbed Abel’s head with both hands. “Oh, God, baby…yes…uuhh…”
Abel reached one hand down between his own legs and massaged his throbbing package through the red G-string while he held Devlin’s cock deep in his throat and sucked hard.
“Oh, fuck…fuck…” Devlin gasped and lifted his hips, sliding his member in and out of Abel’s tight throat canal. “Oh, my God, Abel…I’m so close…so close…”
Abel was, too. He unhanded himself and massaged Devlin’s full, tight balls instead as he began to long-stroke his shaft.
“Fuck!” Devlin grasped fists of Abel’s hair. “Abel…uuhhh…I’m gonna come, baby…I’m gonna come…”
Devlin’s orgasms were often catalysts, inspiring Abel’s own. He was in danger of unloading in his underwear the instant Devlin came, but…whatever would be, would be—he wasn’t going to stop sucking his husband.
“Oh, fuck-fuck!” Devlin’s entire body locked up as a strangled cry wrenched out of him and he shot his juice down Abel’s throat, his hips jerking in spasm. “Uuhh…God…”
Abel moaned and sucked him harder, drawing out the final drops of cum. Devlin shuddered hard then sagged against the bed, breath erratic.
“Oh, my God, baby…” he panted. “Fuck…you do that so damn good.” He swallowed and rubbed his hands down his flushed, glistening face then sat forward and cupped Abel’s face, kissing him with warm passion. “Want me to return the favor?”
Pleasant shivers coursed through Abel and his cock jumped against its confines. He was so close to cumming, one lick of Devlin’s tongue would probably push him over the edge. But one lick was one lick. He smiled and sucked Devlin’s soft lips. “Please.”

Horatio leaned against the closed bedroom door and watched Max slip out of his tux jacket. He was eager to participate in undressing his husband, but at the moment could do nothing but stare at the man. His thoughts took him on a quick trip through the last two decades of his life; years spent in fear and anguish, convinced that all hope of his and Max’s love flourishing—was gone.
Tears glistened his eyes now as a miracle stood before him, all the proof he would ever need that there was a loving, merciful God in heaven.
“Hey…” Max murmured, drawing him from his thoughts. He walked over and slipped his arms around Horatio. “What’s wrong?”
Horatio shook his head and kissed Max. “Nothing,” he whispered, his vision blurring. “Not one thing.”
Max smiled softly and touched his head to his brow. “Then why the tears?”
“Happy tears,” Horatio assured and wrapped his arms around Max’s neck. “You’re my miracle. For so long, I thought you were lost to me forever.” A single tear escaped. “It still hasn’t quite sunk in that you’re my husband…that you’re mine forever.”
Max swallowed thickly and blinked. “Now look what you did?” he murmured. “You’re making me cry happy tears, too.”
Horatio smiled as more tears followed the first one down his cheeks. “It’s okay to cry happy tears,” he whispered. “
It’s the sad ones that hurt so much. And I’ve cried enough of those to last me a few lifetimes.”
Rubbing his back, Max drew him closer. “Never again,” he said softly and kissed his lips. “Only happy tears from here on out.”
Though they were barely a year apart in age, Max had a natural protectiveness toward Horatio that made him feel safe. As kids, Horatio had always felt more vulnerable, emotionally, even physically at times. Max had generated a strength that Horatio admired, back then and today. There were no words to truly convey how he saw Max; he admired, adored, idolized, and worshipped the man.
“I can live with that,” Horatio whispered thickly as he stroked his fingers through Max’s soft black hair and gazed into his beautiful green eyes. “I love you, Maxwell Raines.” He kissed him with a rush of passion. “I want to make love to you; tonight…tomorrow…every day for the rest of our lives.”
Max smiled against his lips. “I can live with that.”

“Are you nervous?” Riley asked as he and Darius entered his apartment.
“Yes,” Darius admitted honestly. Though Riley was the younger of the two of them, he seemed the oldest. Maybe it was his experience with other men that made him seem so to Darius.
Riley came closer and rested his hands on Darius’ hips. “No need to be,” he murmured with a small smile. “I’ve been waiting for this night since the moment we met.” He brushed a kiss across Darius’ mouth, gently sucking his lips. “I was gone on you the first time I saw you there in Max’s office. I wanted you.” He kissed him deeply. “I wanted you for my own.”
Shivering with delight, Darius replied in a shaky whisper, “I wanted you, too.” He stroked his fingers down Riley’s cheeks. “I can’t believe you waited all this time to make love to me. I don’t think most men would have been as patient or understanding.”
