Finley (Decoy Dynasty #1)

Page 18

by K. T Fisher

“Fin.” I moan, begging him to give me what I want.

He looks up at me from my breasts, his face showing his obvious pleasure as he sinks himself home. He groans and my eyes roll back and when I think he’s all in, he thrusts some more. He quickly pulls out, and slowly thrusts back in, teasing us both and I let go of a long, blissful groan. Finley kisses me before he begins to go faster, he leans back up, gripping onto my thighs as he pounds into me. Finley watches my breasts as they bounce and I begin to scream as he starts to play with my clit, his thumb circling as he grinds against me.

“Shit.” He growls, and lifts my legs, hooking my ankles around the back of his neck. Finley’s cock sinks even deeper and it’s almost too much to cope with. My screaming becomes louder and Finley growls.

“Finley.” I groan. “I’m gonna come.”

“Thank fuck.” Finley growls and begins to fuck me even faster. Our moaning mingles together and when I reach the top, my eyes close as my orgasm takes over. Finley follows, slamming into me one last time, growling as he fills the condom. He pauses, and when I open my tired eyes I see him looking down at me, his breathing heavy. Finley gifts me with one last kiss, before he pulls out and rids himself of the condom. I miss the full feeling of him as soon as he’s gone, but when he returns to bed, he pulls me against him again, this time my back to his front and I fall asleep to him kissing the bottom of my neck.

  Chapter Twenty One

The next morning, I wake up to my phone ringing and when I see my manager’s name on my screen, I groan in disgust.

“Who is it?” Finley asks, rolling over onto his back. Some time while we were sleeping we must have broken apart.

“My manager.” I grumble, reaching for the phone and answering. “Hi Marcus.”

“Riley!” He greets. “I wanted to wish my most beautiful client a good morning.”

  “Ok.” I yawn.

“Anyway, I wanted to ask why you didn’t run the interviews by me before you did them.” He asks.

“Because I thought it was the right thing to do.” I snap back and Finley eyes me worryingly.

“Lucky for you, it’s turned out a good thing. You’re on fire right now Riley! The fake relationship with Finley and everything, you’re turning out to be a great money earner.” He laughs and I close my eyes to gather some composure. “The song sales are fucking huge and I can’t wait for your album to release!”

I hate him having his greedy hands on my share of money.

“Finley and I aren’t fake.” I grind out and Marcus pauses.

  “What?”

“I said me and Finley are not fake.” I repeat and Marcus bursts out laughing.

“Well that’s even fucking better.” He yells. “Well done darlin’!”

I really fucking hate this guy.

“Anyway, I have some news.” Marcus continues, and Finley’s phone begins to ring. “You my girl are off to the US of A!”

  “What for?” I ask.

“The Music Awards!” He laughs. “You and the Lunacy boys are off to America to open the awards and even present one with Finley because you two are in high demand beautiful.”

  “Oh my god.” I whisper.

“I know.” Marcus comments. “So what do yah say?”

“Yes.” I giggle, ignoring Marcus and focusing on my own delight. I quickly end my call with Marcus because he’s bound to darken my mood and I can’t have him destroying my happiness. Finley is still on the phone when I hang up, so I dare to Google myself and see what the media have to say about the interview I gave them yesterday.

I’m shocked to see how many newspapers and magazines have picked it up. I download a copy and begin reading, and when Finley ends his call, he turns to see me crying.

“Ry?” He asks, suddenly at my side.

“It’s the interviews.” I wipe away my tears. “They’re amazing.”

Finley releases a sigh of relief. “Yeah, my dad said you’ve been getting amazing feedback already.” He smiles. “Did your manager tell you about the awards?”

“Yes.” I jump up excitedly. “It’s amazing, and we’re presenting an award.”

“For best male solo artist.” He nods.

A thought suddenly occurs. “Are we up for any?”

“Didn’t your manager tell you?” He frowns, and I shake my head. Marcus didn’t say anything else. “We’re up for three.”

“What!” I bounce on the bed.

Finley laughs. “Best collaboration, best video and best single.”

“Oh my god.” I begin to cry again.

“And you’re up for best newcomer.” Finley delivers and I feel faint.

  “Are you serious?” I whisper.

“Deadly.” Finley wraps his arms around me and kisses me sweetly. “Proud of you Ry.”

Finley gives me so much more details than Marcus did, and it turns out Marcus booked my flight for me but Jax told Finley that he booked me on the same flight as the band. I’m grateful. The awards are in a month’s time, so we need to plan and Finley advises me to get Cassie on planning my outfits for me because the paparazzi will be all over everyone who is involved in the awards. He knows me so well.

That afternoon, after Finley and I have a lazy morning and a recap of last night, Liam and Caden arrive and we talk about the award show.

“I think we should debut our new single.” Suggests Caden.

“But people would wanna hear our hit.” Liam shakes his head.

“What about a mixture?” I suggest. “Start with our number one, and then mix into the next single before we do a big finish.”

They all stare at me, until Finley speaks. “Perfect.”

“See, that’s why she fits in with us!” Caden hollers, causing me to laugh.

“You were born to be Lunacy Riley.” Liam leans forward and kisses me on the cheek.

Once that’s out of the way, Caden’s face turns serious. “So, how are yah Ry?”

I take a deep breath. “I’m good now Cade, thanks.” And he sends me a wink.

“I gotta say Fin,” Liam shakes his head. “I was shocked seeing you lay into that guy like that, but now I know why, I wish I had fucking joined in.” He leans in close to me again, wrapping and around my shoulder. “Nobody messes with our girl.”

“Thanks.” I pat his hand that rests on my shoulder.

“What was your manager saying to you this morning?” Asks Finley, I’m surprised that he hasn’t asked me already to be honest, but then again, we have kept ourselves busy all morning.

I sigh heavily. “Just Marcus being Marcus.”

“Is he good to you?” Asks Caden.

“Not really, he gives me the creeps a bit but he helped me get my big break.” Whenever he annoys me, I try to remind myself that. Over and over.

Finley immediately is on guard. His back straightens and he frowns across at me. “Why does he creep you out?”

“He thought you and me were fake, and when I told him the truth he congratulated me but not in the way a friend would. As if I had won a prize or something.” I roll my eyes. “He likes to call me beautiful and he calls me to his office for stupid little things sometimes. Something he could have easily told me on the phone.”

“I don’t like him.” Finley scowls.

“Yeah, guy sounds like a fucking perv. You need to get rid of him Riley.” Caden advises.

“You should join D Records.” Finley announces. “My dad’s already suggested it.”

“What?” I stare wide eyed at him.

Finley nods. “Yeah, he brought it up again this morning. He thinks you should be a part of the team.”

“I don’t know.” I shrug, even though every part of me is screaming to say yes. “People would think it was just because we’re together.”

  “Fuck them!” Liam shouts.

“He’s right.” Finley adds. “You’ve worked hard, you deserve to have someone professional helping you.”

“I’ll think about it.” I nod and
quickly turn to Liam. “So, you and Cassie?”

  Liam adorably blushes. “Yeah.”

“You looking after her?” I tease him.

“Oh, he’s making sure she gets everything she needs.” Caden laughs, and we all join in.

  Chapter Twenty Two

Plans for the award show are coming together, and I leave with the band in two weeks’ time. Finley has told me that whenever any family member is away for any amount of time, they have a family dinner before they have to travel. It’s really cute, and it made me want to visit home before I left, so I made the call and let my mum know. She was happy, especially when I said I would be bringing Finley with me. I’m also tagging along to Finley’s family dinner, which happens to be today, and I’m trying not to think too much into what this all means for us.

“Stop pacing!” Shouts Cassie from her seat in the living area. She’s sat watching TV, waiting for Liam to come over. I’m staying over at Finley’s tonight, and even though he has some things for me over at his place, I’m bringing a little bag of things that I might need. Just a few tops for tomorrow in case we decide to go anywhere.

“I’m nervous.” I bite down my bottom lips, my belly full of nerves that I can’t shake.

“You’re always nervous when it comes to Finley.” Cassie smirks at me from over her shoulder. “It means you love him.”

“Shut up.” I argue, just as there’s a knock on the door. I take a quick glance at myself, I’m wearing my jeans a simple shirt with my heeled ankle boots.

“You look gorgeous babe.” Cassie assures me, giving me the confidence I need to open the door and greet Finley.

He’s wearing his sexy smile when I open the door. Finley shakes his head, leaning back a little as he takes me in. “Looking sexy as always.”

“She’s nervous!” Cassie shouts from inside and I cringe.

Finley’s smile fades and reaches for my arm, pulling me against him. “You don’t need to be nervous. You’ve met everyone apart from my brothers.”

“It’s not about your family, it’s that this is sort of a tradition you do, meeting before you leave the country, and you’re bringing me with you.”

“We going too fast?” He frowns, and my heart beats for him in the moment. I’m forgetting that Finley is as new to this as I am. TJ was my first serious boyfriend and look what happened there. Finley hasn’t had a girlfriend before, and I know we agreed to slow for my benefit, but I don’t think that’s going to work anymore.

I place a hand over his heart. “No, it’s just me being silly.”

That brings his smile back, and he leans in to kiss me, grabbing my bag beside the door as he does. “Let’s get going then.”

I say my goodbyes to Cassie and we shut the door behind us. When we’re alone in the elevator, Finley drops my bag on the floor and closes the gap between us. His hand tangles in my hair as his grey eyes search my face. “I’ve fucking missed you.”

His lips land on mine as my back hits the mirrored wall behind me. We don’t get that much time secluded in the elevator before the doors open and we have to step out, but it’s enough to send my insides on fire and crave Finley so badly that I’m eager for us to get to his place and head straight for his bedroom.

His flashy car is waiting for us in the car park and he throws my bag into the back before settling in the driver’s seat. “My mum is so excited.”

“Really?” I giggle. At least she’s excited to see me.

Finley shakes his head, looking forward at the road ahead as he pulls out the car park and onto the main road, 21 Pilots quietly playing in the background. “She thinks of you as a daughter already.”

That’s lovely to hear, but it still scares me just a little.

Finley takes a quick look over at me, probably because I haven’t answered. “Don’t worry, she’s just getting carried away. You’re the first girl I’ve ever brought to the house, never mind meeting the family, she sees this as something huge. Just relax and enjoy the food.”

I take in a deep and calming breath of air and settle into the seat. “Ok.”

I sing along to the radio as Finley drives, just to keep myself from freaking out as we near Finley’s family home. You can tell when we reach ‘rich territory’ as the houses gets bigger and the more they begin to hide away behind their secured gates and huge trees that are there for privacy reasons and it makes the drive up to Finley’s family home very pretty. When we reach the gates, he types in the security code and they open for us, we pass the trees as Finley drives up the narrow driveway. The house comes into view, and with the greenery surrounding it and the sun shining down, the house is beautiful.

“Are the stories about your mum crying true?” I ask Finley. Of course I’ve heard the stories about his parents, and the one surrounding the house is a cute one. Apparently Jax bought her here, without her knowing where they were going and bought her to the gates and showcased the new home he had bought for her and his son, Finley.

Finley laughs. “She told us when she first saw it she thought my dad was crazy but broke down in tears, at those very gates and all the way up here.” He smiles as we pull up outside the house, alongside the other four cars out here.

“Cute.” I smile over at him, and he nods. What an amazing story to be part of.

I look up and see the front door open. Kendal stands in the doorway, watching the both of us as we exit the car and make our way to her. Finley swings an arm around me and I appreciate the support. He kisses my forehead just as we reach his mum. “Don’t you two look adorable?” She beams.

“Mum.” Finley warns as she steps aside and lets us enter. I’m still blown away by how beautiful her home is as I step inside.

“Hi Riley.” Kendal bounces over and captures me in a cuddle.

“Hi Kendal.” I can’t help but laugh.

“Come on,” she tucks her arm in mine and leads me through the house. “Are you hungry?”

“Yes.” I answer, looking back at Finley behind us as she steals me away, his mouth stretching into a grin and his shoulders shaking as he silently laughs

Seeing as it’s a nice clear day, the family is outside, sat around garden tables as they drink and talk. They stop though as Kendal leads me outside.

“Riley.” Haiden enthusiastically waves from her seat beside Jax, who also waves.

“Hi.” I wave back to her and she smiles wide.

Grace smiles over at me, gifting me a little wink before Kendal guides me to an empty table. It only has two chairs and they’re placed very close together.

“You two sit here.” She leads me to a chair and points Finley to the other. He can’t shake the big smile from his face.

“Smooth.” One of Finley’s brothers jokes to Kendal as she leaves us to it and joins the empty seat next to Jax.

“These are my brothers, Noah and Rory.” Finley gestures to the table closest to us. Grace shares their table and now that I’m seeing the three of them together at once, I can see the similarities between them. Noah and Rory seem identical, apart from the fact Noah has a mole under his eye and Rory’s hair is a little lighter. That’s all that separates them. Grace shares their eyes and all three seem to have the same smile, but everything else is girlish and all Gracie.

  “Hi.” I smile over.

“Glad we’re finally meeting you Riley.” Noah grins over.

“Yeah.” Rory nods. “You’re kind of a celebrity over here.”

I blush and Finley frowns at them. “Leave her.”

“Relax bro.” Rory raises his hands and looks over at me. “Sorry, we’re just teasing.”

“It’s fine.” I snuggle into Finley’s side and he tucks me under his arm.

“Just ignore them.” Finley whispers. “They love to joke around.”

“It’s fine.” I assure him and when I look up, Kendal is proudly watching.

“And try to ignore my mum.” Finley groans. “I think she’s already having us married in her head.”

  “
And naming our babies.” I giggle and Finley joins in.

It becomes a little easier as everyone talks again, the attention isn’t focused on me and I begin to relax and enjoy myself. Jax and Finley start to talk, and eventually he asks me some questions. “When did you get into singing Riley?”

“I suppose I was like most girls, wanting to be a pop star and I sung all the time. I’m sure I drove my parents crazy.” I laugh and Jax smiles. “When my parents separated, I began writing my own songs and I sung at all the talent shows at school and karaoke’s, until I got spotted by Marcus, who is now my manager.

“I don’t like him.” Finley announces.

  “Why not?” Jax asks.

“He makes Riley feel awkward.” Finley quickly answers, and all of sudden all of the attention is back on me.

  “Why?” Asks Grace.

“He’s a little inappropriate.” I answer for myself. I really don’t want to discuss Marcus right now, so I look to Haiden, and quickly change the subject. “My little sister is a fan of yours Haiden, she loves your YouTube channel.”

“Really?” She shrieks. “Can I have her number?”

“Sure!” I get out my phone and she runs to my side, once she has Amelia’s phone number, Haiden then asks for mine. “Of course, I’ll let Amelia know I’ve given it you, she’ll be so excited.”

“I can’t wait to be friends with Riley James’ younger sister.” Haiden skips back over to Jax and Kendal and I marvel at her. She’s excited to be friends with my sister? She has a family full of famously talented people.

Me: Hey MeMe, guess who I’ve just given your number to? x

  Amelia: Who? X

I wait a couple of seconds because I know Haiden is sending her a text. A couple of minutes later she texts me back.

Amelia: OMG what! Haiden Parker has my number? She actually wants to be my friend. I can’t believe this. Thanks Ry xxxxxx

I laugh as I text her back.
