Devin set up a nice jabbing, bouncing motion with his sinewy hips. Semen spurted from Chase’s cock regardless of the fact he wasn’t being jacked. This often happened when he was being fucked, the prostate stimulated from inside. Devin must’ve noticed, either in the mirror or in the warm flood over his fist. Chase had no idea if he’d respond favorably. He’d punished him before for being so weak as to come merely by being fucked.

“Oh, yeah,” he murmured salaciously in Chase’s ear. “You go ahead and come anyway. You must like this.” And he jabbed him long and deep.

Chase wiggled his ass, deciding to rile Devin further. “The mayor was about to bid on your vacation because he’s after your muscular ass. I’ve seen him checking you out. Why do you think he got so riled over that open space bond?”

As expected, Devin snarled. He slapped the cock that was still spurting semen and fucked Chase even more brutally. Three, four deep strokes and Devin was shuddering his release deep inside his lover. Lord, Devin came for a good, long time. Must be those protein drinks he was constantly gulping. Devin had the most powerful orgasms of any man Chase had been with. Chase liked it. It made him feel he was doing his job, which was to satisfy his man.

But when he was finally done twitching and spurting inside Chase, Devin shoved his bound partner against the shoulder and withdrew. Chase crashed to the kitchen floor and rolled over like a cowering kitten. He could see in the mirror Devin’s gorgeous, rounded ass as he yanked up the lounge pants, leaving the dimpled small of his back bare to entice Chase. Devin poured some more champagne for himself.

Chase could wriggle himself into a sitting position, leaning back on his bound hands. “Really rubbed you the wrong way, what I said about Alessi. Must be true.”

“Ha,” said Devin, smacking his lips. “You just busted yourself. If you knew it was true beforehand, you wouldn’t be saying ‘must be true.’”

Chase’s face fell. Devin was right. But he had seen the mayor ogling Devin’s ass. Many men did, in addition to the expected women. Devin may have been the grand old age of thirty-eight, but he was carved like a turkey, not an ounce of fat on his well-developed abs and pecs, and his ass moved in a fuck-me manner even under sweatpants. Yes, the mayor had been leering at Devin on more than one occasion.

Now Chase said, “I’m going to go have a talk with Miss Lacey Dvorak. Tell her you screwed up, but I want her, too.”

Devin spun about and pointed a warning finger at Chase. “But you’re waiting for me, you hear? You’re not even kissing her if I’m not there.”

“But that’s apparently where you screwed up earlier tonight. When you told her you needed to wait for me. I’m not about to make that same mistake, buddy.”

Devin took three long strides to reach his lover. He gripped Chase’s jaw viciously and rattled his head about. “You’re. Not. Going. Alone. Hear me, brat? I don’t want to ever catch you with Lacey alone. Ever. You understand?”

Chase nodded and blinked. “I understand.”

  Devin narrowed his eyes.

  Chase gulped. “I understand. Sir.”

  Chapter Seven

Relief flooded through Lacey when Devin came to the hardware store.

She instantly threw aside the apron she wore, and Cal agreed to cover her with a nod of his head. Cal had been at the auction, and although today he hadn’t mentioned losing his bid to Devin, his approval was implicit.

She took Devin’s sleeve and guided him outside, around the corner of the building and into the gravel parking lot. “I’m so glad you came by,” she said, all in a rush. “I feel horrible about my behavior last night. You paid almost two large for me and should get more than a slap in the face.” Normally, she wouldn’t say anything as hokey as “two large,” but she was nervous.

She had agonized all night long. She had probably only really slept about two hours. Katrina had stopped by her apartment with her clutch purse, and they had proceeded to kill off more than one bottle of wine. She had blamed wine for her slutty behavior at the Lion’s Club. Katrina convinced her it wasn’t the half a cup of wine but her true self coming to the fore when she’d flung herself at Devin.

“You two were meant to be, face it,” Katrina had said.

Even after Katrina had left, Lacey had tossed and turned. She was much too sensitive to any slight, real or imaginary. Devin had said he wanted to wait for Chase, and that’s all he had meant. Lacey had been suffering from the low self-esteem effects of Ben’s betrayals. Lacey should not take her suspicions and paranoias out on Devin. It could be possible that Devin was merely a well-meaning man who actually wanted to have a fling with her.

Now, Devin laughed. “That’s not it, Lacey. Obviously we’re not holding you to some ironclad contract that you need to put out because we won you. In fact, I want to convince you of the opposite. I told Chase last night about us going upstairs after the auction. He wants you to come by his store when you get off tonight, so he can convince you he’s not some creepy stalker. He wants to get to know you better.”

“Oh,” said Lacey. “Sure. I get off at six.”

And that was it. “Great. We’ll see you then,” said Devin, and headed down Jack London Street toward Chase’s store.

Lacey breathed easily now, and even smiled a lot as she sold people their screws and paint. She was glad they’d given her another chance, a chance to prove she could move on with her life and wasn’t stuck reliving past horrors.

Lacey was about to step right into their world. Instead of fearing it, now she embraced it.

  * * * *

Devin couldn’t believe Lacey had come to Chase’s store.

Sure, she had looked at him flirtatiously from under her long lashes when Devin had stopped into Delight Hardware to invite her over to Positive Vibrations. “Sure,” she’d said quietly, an all-knowing, seductive smile on her pretty face.

Somehow, though, he hadn’t thought she’d actually make it.

Now Chase had the simple task of reassuring her Devin wasn’t a predatory gargoyle. That’s what she’d seemed afraid of—she’d run from the Lion’s Club when Devin had suggested Chase join in on their fun. So Chase now leaned against a counter that displayed massage lotions, nipple clamps, and finger vibes trying to convince her he was harmless. Thing was, Chase had that boy-next-door quality—maybe it was his buzz cut, or his dimpled cheeks, or full Cupid’s lips—that made everyone instantly trust him. So Devin leaned against a rack of harnesses while Chase charmed Lacey.

“See, I’m basically a harmless garden variety flaming gay,” Chase was telling Lacey. “It was Devin here who was a lady-killer when I met him.”

“Not a lady-killer,” Devin pointed out. “I just liked ladies. I didn’t exactly kill them.”

“That’s true,” Chase agreed. “It was the ladies who killed you. Anyway, I think Devin here only hooked up with me because he wanted to hide from ladies for a while. Well, I think he’s ready to try again. And I got to be honest with you.” Chase looked from side to side as though someone was eavesdropping. Lacey seemed to hold her breath as she leaned in to hear what he had to say. “I can’t think of a more erotic thing than the idea of watching you suck his big…tasty…cock.”

Now Devin held his breath, waiting for Lacey to run screaming again from the store. But she didn’t. She merely looked into Chase’s eyes from under her lashes with that piqued, interested look, her nostrils flaring.

Chase placed a hand on her shoulder. “So whaddaya say?” he asked chummily, as though inviting her to try his barbecue sauce. “Look at my man here. He’s a strapping hunk. I think so, all the ladies think so, and most of the men, including Mayor Alessi.”

“Will you shut up about Mayor Alessi?” yelled Devin.

Lacey only giggled. “Mayor Alessi. I did notice him eyeballing you several times during the Valentine’s gala.”

“See?” said Chase. “I’m telling you, Lacey. You have everything to gain and nothing to lose. You’re just getting over that lunkheaded
yogurt guy, right? Well, who better to teach you the tricks you’ve been missing out on all those years?”

Lacey kept glancing sideways at Devin as he stood there feeling like an utter dolt. “I think I see what you get out of it. You like to watch Devin.”

“Bingo. God, yes. Why do you think we have so many mirrors around here? They’re not all for customers. Our apartment upstairs is a veritable fun house of mirrors.”

“But what does Devin get out of it? Devin?”

Chase unhanded her when she turned to him. She looked so damned innocent! She couldn’t have dated more than a handful of men before marrying that Pearson dolt. Then again, since she did have that Kate Winslet vibe going on, she could also be deceptively innocent. It was possible she was a real tigress behind closed doors.

He smiled down reassuringly at her. “What do I get out of it? Lady, have you looked in the mirror lately?”

  “Yes, unfortunately.”

What did she mean, “unfortunately”? He put his hands on her shoulders as Chase had been doing. “You’re a pretty, feminine, voluptuous woman, Lacey.”

She smirked and looked at the ground. “Yeah. Voluptuous. I thought most men liked the size 00 ones my ex prefers. Are you one of those fatty chasers?”

“What?” Devin was aghast. He looked to Chase, who seemed aghast, too. Then it occurred to him. Maybe Lacey had anorexic tendencies. Those people tended to always consider themselves as overweight, even when clearly exactly just right. Devin himself had those tendencies. Chase did, too, of course. They could always be one pound lighter, in their minds. “Lacey! You’re perfect. You’re shapely, curvaceous, not fat at all! Look—” He got a sudden idea, and yanked a hanger from a rack. He held the black leather number up to her while she turned all shades of red. “Look. I’m not even going to insult your insecure heart by guessing which size, but this would look awesome on you. Show off all your assets, so to speak.”

“Yeah,” agreed Chase. “That item binds the waist real tight with steel boning while leaving your juicy breasts exposed. This is a hot corset. Gives you that hourglass figure.”

Lacey took the corset, looking at the men with trepidation. She held it out and examined it thoughtfully, then exchanged it for another size on the rack—Devin didn’t look, or want to know, which size. When she started strolling impudently to the dressing room, Devin couldn’t resist grabbing her and planting a surprise kiss on her. It was time, anyway, to test Chase’s claim that he’d be okay seeing Devin touch someone else.

She resisted at first, probably shocked. But she soon melted into the kiss, letting the leather corset slide from her fingers and drop to the floor while she wrapped her hand around the back of his neck. Her lips parted and this time it was she who slipped her tongue into his mouth first.

It did feel odd, kissing someone else while Chase watched. Devin’s fingers found the chopstick she was using to bind her bun to the crown of her head, and pulled. He tossed the stick to the floor and sank his fingers into her strawberry-blonde locks, slithering through them like a hundred satin cords.

When she plastered her body to his torso, his prick was up like a hammer. What a dog. Chase can tell a mile away that I’m hard. I could at least pretend I don’t want to mount this woman like a stag. Since he wore only a thin V-neck T-shirt, he could acutely feel her breasts press against him urgently. She ran one hand down his arm to grip his bicep as though admiring his bulging muscles, and Devin puffed up with more than pride. It had been so long since he’d had an admiring woman clinging to him, sighing into his mouth.

Her soft, voluptuous curves stirred feelings in Devin he had thought long dead. He had purposefully shunned women for two years, tired of their games, betrayals, manipulations. Selina had only been the most recent in a long line of betrayals, and Devin had just given up the ghost. He didn’t care what Chase claimed. Apparently, being a good-looking son of a bitch didn’t guarantee a woman’s faithfulness. Being a kind, generous, understanding, funny son of a bitch didn’t guarantee a damned thing. Women were fickle, and that was that.

And now here he was, sinking his fingers through the soft locks of a new woman. Except this time, Chase was watching. And, Devin hoped, approving.

When Lacey lifted a foot and began to slide it up Devin’s calf, moving her pubic bone against his crotch, Devin gasped and broke the kiss. He held her head back with a handful of her hair, and he explained breathlessly, “We’d like to mold you, to train you.”

Her impish little smile was adorable. “Train me to do what? I can’t decide which of you muscular he-men is the man in this partnership.”

“We’re both the man,” Chase was quick to assure her. “There’s no wife or effeminate one.”

“Right,” said Devin. “Our balance of power is more in who assumes the top, or dominant, position.”

Lacey’s foot slowly slid down Devin’s calf as she pulled back to appraise both of them. Devin was mortified that Lacey had given him a hard-on that wouldn’t quit, and Chase cast him a meaningful look. Devin scowled back. “All right. I’ll bite. Chase is the top.”

Both men burst into a round of disbelieving laughter. Devin slapped Chase on the back with glee and even got him in a headlock just to show Lacey how wrong she was. Lacey slapped her own forehead and squealed with surprise.

But after a while, Devin began to wonder. “Hey,” he said, now caressing Chase’s head that was still locked in the crook of his arm. “Why wouldn’t you assume I was the dom? I’m older, after all.”

“Just as buff and strong,” Chase pointed out.

Lacey said apologetically, “Well, you see, Devin, Chase just has that self-confident swagger about him. It’s hard to imagine him being submissive—”

“And it’s easy to imagine me?” Devin had to let go of Chase in order to point to himself.

“No, but all other things being equal, it’s easier to, ah, picture you on your knees with your hands behind your head, ah, and…”

Lacey trailed off in embarrassment, so Devin boldly filled in for her. “Sucking Chase’s cock? Girl, you have a lot to learn.” He had actually just sucked Chase’s cock that morning, but Chase had been the one zip-tied to the chin-up bar in the apartment upstairs.

Chase helped him out. “Maybe because that’s what you’d like to picture, Lacey. I’m usually the one bound, cuffed, or otherwise restrained. This brute is one giant fucking satyr. Loves the whips and chains, he does.”

Lacey wrinkled her nose, looking Devin up and down appraisingly. “Satyr. A lecherous man? I can see that.”

Devin was unsure if that was a compliment or an insult, so he tried to regain the upper hand. “This is why you need us to train you. You can’t tell the difference between a dom and a sub.”

Lacey scooped the corset from the floor and playfully touched the tip of Devin’s nose. She fluttered her eyelashes at him. “What if I wish to be the domme?” And she sailed off to the dressing room.

Chase and Devin looked at each other with wide eyes. “Whoa,” said Chase. “Mistress Lacey?”

Devin hadn’t counted upon this. “You’re going to be the most wailed-upon sub in the history of Hell’s Delight.”

“Wait a minute.” Chase put a hand out, palm facing the floor. “We’re in this together. It’s both of our decisions to choose a woman, to choose Lacey. I didn’t volunteer to be submissive to any damned woman.”

Devin nodded. “She’ll need to be a switch at least. And I’m pretty sure she was halfway kidding.”

“Besides, we need to train her tenderly, at first. Let’s not try anything that might scare her off tonight. Who knows what her background is, her experience?”

“Exactly. In fact, to make sure of that…” Devin went to a wall rack and slipped off a hook one of his favorite pairs of soft leather handcuffs. He stood so close to Chase he practically stepped on his toes, and he touched the tip of his tongue to Chase’s sultry lower lip. Chase fondled the erection cradled in the crotch of Devin’s jeans, per
haps wanting to keep it plump for Lacey’s titillation. “You know I love you. But I’m going to have to keep you on a short—”

Suddenly, Devin brutally yanked one of Chase’s arms, cuffed the wrist, and twirled Chase to face the counter, like an arresting officer. As he bound the other wrist, he punctuated his authority with a few thrusts of the hips, dry humping his lover. A collar would help keep Chase’s head up, and—

A gasp of awe came from behind them.

Both men whipped their heads around to view Lacey standing there barefoot. She wore the corset—oh, boy, did she wear the corset. Devin was so dumbfounded he let go of the chain between the cuffs. It was as though Chase melted away from the stage where only he and Lacey stood.

Because the corset was a cupless underbust design, meant to lift, spread, and display a woman’s ample tits, Lacey kept her hands over them. But since the corset only spread out over her tailbone in back, she had modestly kept her black panties on. She shrugged her shoulders. “Is this right?”

Lust coursed through Devin as he strode forward eagerly. She had fastened all the buckles in front but he knew from watching many women try this corset that it would be impossible for her to get the tight-lacing correct in the back by herself. An enormous shiver actually flowed through him as he placed his hands on her bare shoulders and turned her. “Not quite done.”

She held her hair up for him, which meant leaving one jiggling breast bouncing freely. Devin wanted nothing more than to slurp it up, but he had business to attend to. “I know. I didn’t expect I’d get that part right. Fits okay, though.”

Chase had come forward, too, and Devin was pleasantly surprised to see him looking with avid, shining eyes at the bared tit. “We’ve got plenty of black stockings around, too, but we don’t carry shoes.”
