by Chance, Jacob

“Miles, what the hell are you doing?”

“I’m feeling really dirty this morning and I can’t wait for you to wash me.” He races across his bedroom and into the bathroom, setting me down. Reaching into the shower he turns the water on and drags me in with him. I shriek as the ice-cold water hits me. Miles covers my mouth with his and presses me back against the cold tiles. As his tongue leisurely caresses mine, the water heats up and so do I when the pads of his fingers trace along my pussy. Releasing my mouth, he slides to his knees, flashing me a sinful grin. Raising one of my legs over his shoulder, he parts my lips with his thumbs and swipes his tongue along the slick, pink skin. My fingers delve into his hair, tugging and maneuvering his head to suit my needs. His persistent tongue has me crying out my release in no time.

  Good morning to me.

  TWO WEEKS LATER

“God, I love waking up with you in my arms.” I nuzzle Sophie’s neck and push my morning wood against her ass.

“I can tell,” she teases, wiggling her backside into me.

We’ve been having sex at least once a day. I’m already caught up for the year. I’ve been trying to convince myself that I’ll miss the sex when Sophie leaves, but what I’ll really miss is sex with Sophie.

“Seriously, though. I don’t think I could ever get tired of it.” Or you. I don’t say the second part for obvious reasons. One being that today is our last day to spend together and she has no idea. Sophie leaves for school in a few more days. I could drag out our goodbye, milking every moment we can spend together, but she’d grow more depressed with each minute that passed. She’d waste the time counting down to our expiration date instead of making the most of each moment we have.

By doing it today, she’ll have great memories of our final day together. And I’ll have memories of her being happy. It’s a win-win.

My hand wanders up her stomach to cup a pert tit. Closing my eyes, I focus on the sensation of her nipple against my palm and the plump softness being gripped by my fingers.

“God, I love your hands on me,” she moans. “Don’t ever stop touching me.”

If only I didn’t have to.

Turning her over, I slip between her parted thighs and connect our lips. She exhales the sweetest sigh, her breath wafting over my lips and I know she feels as strongly as I do. We may not speak the words to each other, but there’s no disguising the depth of our feelings during moments like this. Slow and sensual, I kiss her like I’ve never kissed anyone else and never will again. My tongue erotically caresses hers, sending hot lava flowing through every inch of me. Can she feel it too? Is she burning up from the inside out, like I am?

Pressing my hard cock against her wet heat, I slide back and forth between her lips before pressing inside her with one sleek thrust.

Our groans mingle between our mouths. My eyes squeeze shut as I hold still, savoring the sensation of her tight, wet pussy wrapped around me.

I want to stay in this moment forever. I want to freeze us in the here and now, one timeless interlude that no one can take away. I want us imprinted on one another’s souls, so neither of us will ever forget this feeling.

I slot our fingers together, raising our hands on either side of Sophie’s head. Releasing her berry lips, I stare into her eyes as I slowly stroke in and out of her slick pussy. Making love to Sophie for the last time, I want to take my time and make it last forever. But soon the urgency builds and it’s not enough. Sophie drives her heels into my ass, letting me know she’s hungry for more. I comply, picking up the pace.

Our breaths come faster as my hips move more determinedly. Releasing her hands, I slide my palms along her thighs and then push both her legs upward. Staring down, I watch my cock thrusting in and out. It’s the sexiest fucking thing I’ve ever seen.

“I love being inside you,” my whisper is harsh, my breathing labored. “It’s my favorite place to be.”

Longing for my lips on hers once more, I release her legs. “Come here.” I lean forward and she wraps her arms around my neck. Straightening up, I bring her with me, my cock never leaving her snug hold. On my knees with her wrapped tightly around me, I lower and raise her up and down my thick length. Her taut nipples teasingly brush my chest with every movement.

I capture her mouth, our tongues dancing as the urgency builds. A small whimper slips from her and a groan from me, as we hover on the edge of the abyss. Two more thrusts and she free falls, trembling from head to toe in my arms. Her pussy contracts around my cock, and I tip over the lip, falling into my own release. “Sophie,” I moan into her mouth, already mourning the loss of our lovemaking.

Remaining clasped together, our lips finally part and I stare into her shining eyes. Everything I feel for her, I see reflected back at me. And I know in another time and place I’d never let her go. But I love Sophie enough to do what’s best for her. Even if I’ll break my own heart in the process.

She smiles. “Wow. That was some wake up call.”

“The best one ever.” I tip us over and we land with our heads on the pillows. She laughs as I clasp her to me. I’m not ready to let her go.

“Now that you woke me up, what are we doing today?”

“I thought since Miranda had Joey overnight and she’ll keep him until tonight, that we could go for a motorcycle ride.”

  “You have a motorcycle?”

  “I do.” I grin.

“How come I didn’t know this?”

“I don’t know.” I’m at the point where I hardly ever take her out. Joey’s been with us pretty much every time we’re together, so it’s not like we could’ve gone for a ride.

“I’ve never been on one, but I’ve always wanted to.”

“I was thinking we could take a ride along Skyline Drive and find somewhere to grab a bite to eat.”

“Ooh, I love that idea. I haven’t been out that way since I was a kid. How are we going to have time to ride the whole thing?”

“It’s a one hundred five mile stretch at thirty five miles an hour. We won’t make it all the way through, but with the trip back it will take us a decent amount of time.”

“I hope we see some black bears and some deer.”

“As long as they stay out of the road, I’m good with that. Do you have jeans with you?”

“Yep. They’re in the drawer you cleared out for me.”

Oh shit. I’ll have to find a way to get her stuff back to her.

“Wear jeans and sneakers. You might want to bring a lightweight pullover. I know it’s hot out, but when we’re moving on the bike in the Blue Ridge Mountains the higher elevations could make it feel cooler.”

“Okay. Let me jump in the shower first.”

  “You’re that excited about going?”

“Hell, yes. I only wish we’d done this sooner.”

I wish this wasn’t going to be the only time we can do it.

“Wrap your arms around me and don’t be afraid to snug up nice and tight to me.” She wiggles her way forward on the seat until I can feel her torso against my back. “Perfect. When we go around turns you have to lean into them.”

“What?” she yips, sounding like a tiny dog’s bark.

I laugh. “You heard me right. You’ll feel my movements. Just follow my lead and hold on tight, even though it’ll be scary for you at first. I promise you’ll be safe with me.”

“Okay, if you say so. Eek, I’m scared and excited.”

Reaching back, I rub a hand over her thigh. “You’ll be fine. We’re going to have a great day, I promise.”

The next two hours are spent with Sophie yelling ‘woohoo’ in my ear at various points. She rides like she’s experienced and not the newbie that she is.

We stop at one of the seventy five scenic overlooks that Skyline Drive offers. I set our helmets on the seat and grab the bottles of water and bag of grapes and cheese I put in my leather saddlebags earlier. We find a grassy spot to sink down
on.

I hand her a bottle of water and she immediately uncaps it, gulping some down. Even though moving on the bike makes it feel cooler, the sun constantly beating down on you takes a toll.

“What do you think so far? Are you enjoying yourself?”

“Are you kidding? This is awesome.” She beams. “We’re going to have to take a ride again this week. I didn’t realize you’d been holding out on me.”

I hide my guilt under the guise of taking another sip from my bottle. I’m sad and conflicted there can be no more bike rides in our future. And having her ride with me today was probably a giant mistake on my part. Now, every time I ride I’ll miss having her behind me.

I hand over the bag of grapes and cheese and we snack in silence as we take in the breathtaking scenery. Leaning on my elbow, I look out, and as far as the eye can see there’s nothing but trees. It’s unbelievable how many shades of green there are in our view.

“I’ve always wanted to camp in the Shenandoah National Park,” I say for no particular reason.

“We should. Let’s plan a camping trip for September. My brothers have a tent we can use.”

I can’t let her remark go unchecked and give her false hope.

“Sophie, you know we can’t do that. I don’t want to put a damper on our day, so please don’t make me be the voice of reason.”

Her expression is regretful and her eyes that usually sparkle with zest for life are flat. “I know. And I’m sorry. It’s just difficult to imagine we only have a few days left. I’m going to miss seeing you everyday. Being without you is going to suck.”

I agree one hundred percent. Suck is too mild for what it will be like, but life will go on and both of us will get through this.

“And I’ll miss you as well. But before you know it your schedule will be filled with classes, studying, and squeezing in any parties you can. Think of all the new friends you’re going to make.”

God I hope my prediction is right. I can’t take the thought of her being sad because of me. I only want the best for her.

“Oh my God, look.” Sophie points to a spot between a grove of trees where a black bear is wandering.

“See, you got your wish.” I wink.

  “He’s beautiful.”

“Maybe it’s a female. We can’t tell from here.”

She twists her lips up as she thinks. “I don’t know. For some reason, I think it’s a male and I’m naming him Onyx.”

“You’re adorable. Do you know that?”

“As long as you think so, that’s all that matters.” She leans over, pressing her lips to mine. Rolling to my back, I pull her down on top of me and make the most of our private moment. No one’s here but us. The wild creatures lurking in the woods are our only witnesses as she scoots back to kneel between my legs. She has my pants undone and my cock pulled free before I realize what’s going on. Squeezing me in her tight fist, she leans down and swipes her tongue over the tip as if I’m an ice cream cone. She repeats the motion and I groan, not sure if the way it feels or the way it looks is better. It’s impossible to choose.

“Don’t tease me. Swallow me down and make me come.”

Perched over my dick, she stares up at me, slowly running her tongue around her lips before sliding them, wet and plump, down my cock’s length until I’m engulfed by her throat.

“Christ. You’re amazing.” My hands grip both sides of her head, rocking her mouth roughly up and down my length. Tears leak from the outer corners of her eyes.

“Fuck yes. Get ready to drink it all down. Your mouth is too fucking good to hold back anymore.” I release with a guttural shout holding her still as I pulse come down her throat. She breathes through her nose, her mouth still fastened around me.

“So fucking good,” I murmur, swiping the wetness from her cheeks with my thumbs. She slides off my cock, her tongue rooting for a final taste as she releases me. That’s my hungry girl. What am I ever going to do without her?

Once we’re back on the road, my thoughts shoot to the impending conversation Sophie and I need to have. My stomach turns uneasily as I think about what her reaction will be. I know she’ll be devastated and I’ll need to be strong enough for both of us.

Her arms squeeze me as if to remind me not to get ahead of myself. I rub the top of her hand gently with my left, keeping my right hand on the throttle to steady the bike. We’re still a couple of hours away from home, and for now we’re still together.

Once we’re off Skyline Drive, I can open up the throttle and get moving. The mid-afternoon sun shines brightly and the road is still free of traffic. Sophie taps my arm and points at a sign for a store that’s coming up in half of a mile. I nod to let her know the message was received.

We come upon the bright blue building with a sign that says Lee Highway Gift Shop and Fruit Stand. I pull in and park the bike right in front. Dropping the kickstand into place with my heel, I unclasp my brain bucket and hook it on the handlebar.

Sophie slips off the left side of the bike and removes her helmet. She bends each leg one at a time and then shakes each one out.

I climb off and push my sunglasses up to the top of my head. Sophie sets her helmet down on the seat.

“Damn, my butt hurts.” She rubs both of her cheeks.

“Want me to take care of that for you?” I ask with a lecherous grin.

“Maybe later. Now is not the time or place for your healing methods.” She glances around and walks toward a sign in front of the store. “Wow, it says this is a fifth generation family owned and operated business. That’s quite an accomplishment.”

“I bet it’s even better inside.” I catch her hand and tug her along.

“Okay, wiseguy. In this case, I bet you’re right.”

I grab a carriage because I’m fairly certain Sophie is going to find a lot of things to like in this place. I want to be the one to purchase them for her. Maybe it’s selfish of me to want her to have some kind of keepsake to remind her of our time together. Yeah, it’s definitely selfish, but I’m going to follow through with it anyway.

Sophie picks up a jar of local raw honey.

  “Do you like honey?”

  “I love it.”

Maybe that explains why she tastes sweet like it. I grab a jar and place it in the carriage.

She traces her finger over a small, wooden, hand-carved black bear.

“I want to get that for you. It can remind you of Onyx when you look at it.”

“Aww, you’re so sweet. I love it.” She cups the bear in her hand, smiling.

We amble through the rest of the space and come upon some quilts. There’s one that Sophie is looking over.

  “Do you like that?”

“Yeah, it’s really well made. And I love the black bears mixed with all my favorite colors. And it’s a twin size, which will fit my dorm bed.”

  “Get it.”

“I’m not sure that I need it. I have an extra comforter at home I’ll probably use.”

“No. I’m going to buy this for you.”

“You can’t. It’s too much money.”

“I absolutely can and I want to. Consider it a thank you for taking such great care of Joey for me. And also a good luck present.”

She twists her upper body from side to side as she thinks about it.

“What makes you think I’m going to take no for an answer?” I ask.

“Good point.” She tips her head from side to side. “Okay, but this is it. No more buying me things.”

  “We’ll see.”

After we check out, I put our purchases in the leather saddlebags. The quilt folds up better than I imagined. I wrap it around the jar of honey and two jars of cider jam; one for Sophie and one for me. I fold up the black bear leggings I bought for her and tuck her little bear inside them. I’m sad I’ll never get to see how amazing she looks in those leggings.

We tug on our helmets and climb on the bike. She leans forward and k
isses my cheek.

“Thank you, for everything. You didn’t have to do that.”

“You’re welcome. And I know I didn’t, but I wanted to. You deserve something special. I wish I could give you more.”

If only she knew how much I mean those words. I’d give her the world, including Joey and me if I could.

  * * *

Once we’re back at my place and the motorcycle’s returned to the garage, Sophie runs inside to grab her backpack. She wants to head home and do some laundry before coming back over later tonight.

I have her gifts in a pile on the front porch. She steps outside and we add them all to her bag. It’s a tight squeeze.

“Why don’t you put that in the car and then come sit with me for a few minutes before you go.”

  She smiles. “Okay.”

I sink down on the top step of the porch, pinching the bridge of my nose. I can’t believe the time to put an end to us is here.

She eases down beside me and puts her head on my shoulder. Turning my head, I press a kiss on her silky locks.

“I think it’s important that we have a talk,” I begin.

Sophie sits up straight and sends a questioning glance my way.

“Today was our last time together.”

“No,” she husks, shaking her head.

“Yes.” I nod. “Just hear me out.” My hands cup Sophie’s cheeks while my eyes trace over the freckles scattered across her golden skin, browned from all our time spent outdoors. Twenty-four, that’s how many of the cinnamon colored specks reside on her pert, little nose.

I ought to know. I’ve spent every morning we’ve had together lying in bed beside her, committing to memory every detail of her beautiful face. How she puckers her full lips in her sleep, waiting for my kiss. And how she tucks both hands under one cheek looking as innocent as an angel. I wish I had one more night with her. But no matter how many more we would spend together, it would never be enough. Breaking things off now is the way to do this, the way we said we would all along. And as difficult as it is, it’s necessary.
