"What I said was you really don't know who the fuck you're dealing with, Mink. See, I'm the type of bitch that will snap your neck in two and won't even think twice about it. The type of bitch that will personally buy your momma that black dress and have it delivered in a box with your head inside and your eyes still open." Lasha gritted her teeth sinisterly. "So behave and don't fuck with me sweetie."

"Bitch you don't put no fear in my heart." I responded placing my hand gently on my clutch.

"I'm not aiming to. But if nothing else gets through to you that Cesar is kept man, then maybe this will." She smirked slowly waving her hand in front of her heavily made up face revealing a beautiful shiny ring on her ring finger.

Her Versace ridden body left the bathroom never turning back to see if I would try anything. This bitch was crazy if she thought that little speech was going to stop me from pursuing a man who belongs to me. Marriage? Please. I'll admit my heart dropped a little when I saw that piece of junk on her bony ass finger but what she didn't know was that I was about to hold all of their cards. As soon as that nigga went broke he would have no choice but to come crawling, graveling back to me. But by then I would be Yolo's girl and he would be the side bitch. It would be a great position for him and he would be my little secret.

  Chapter 9—Cesar

"So you choosing her?" Flava asked as I walked up to the argument between her, some other chick, and Yolo.

"No, Flav. I'm choosing you. But yeah what she says is true. I'm not gonna sit here and deny it. You know our issues with getting pregnant and shit and I told you I wanted sons." Yolo spat eyeing her.

"But I was going to the doctor and trying to make things better. Anyway how do you know for a fact that those kids are yours?" Flava asked fighting back tears.

"Okay now, don't call me a ho. Yolo is the only man I'm seeing and I'm in love with him." The girl sassed tossing her shoulder length dark curly hair around to her back. "Meanwhile, Yolo you're still choosing her after everything we talked about? What about your kids?"

"Man, Tracy I told you I'm gonna always care for you and do for my kids but you got me fucked up if you thought I was leaving my wife. You knew what this was from jump and you get your feet more than wet in my shit. But as far as you and me, we're done. We just need to be parents, man."

"But I thought you loved me. You said you were in love with me and wanted to be a real family and all this other bullshit. What happened to all that?" Tracy whimpered. “Yolo—“

"Don't…don’t do that shit, Tracy. That two year old and our unborn don't need all that fucking stress. Just deal with it. Matter of fact why are you even out here in the fucking club and you're pregnant?" Yolo began to argue as Flava folded her arms in disbelief at his words. "Get your ass outta here, man. Gone."

Tracy walked off revolted but silent as she headed for the front door. I'm sure she knew it was better to have a piece of Yolo than to be struggling without him. I had never met her before but judging by the conversation, I was sure it wouldn't be my last. Flava stood there still sore from the encounter; staring up at him angrily anticipating an explanation I felt she would never get.

"What?" Yolo asked her as I exhaled deeply leaning against the wall next to him.

"That's all you have to say after cheating on me and hiding a fucking family, Yolo? Two years old and she’s pregnant again?" Flava asked walking up close to his face. "I thought I deserved better than that. I’ve been nothing but a good wife and woman to you. Why would you wanna hurt me like this? Is this what I deserve from you?"

"Who said it is? But just like her you're just gonna have to get over it. Shit, we all family now. It's about time we started acting like it." Yolo retorted.

"You're serious? You're an asshole and I fucking hate you!" Flava bellowed before she stormed off. “Go to Hell you son of a bitch!”

"What's going on bro?" I asked shaking up with Yolo casually as he turned his head in my direction.

"Man, crazy shit is brewing dog. Straight up. But check it out though, upstairs is a set of keys to the joint in Miami. I booked you a flight for tomorrow at 6am. There are some girls down there, one of my girls says has been asking about employment. Want you to go down there and check them out. Then I set some shit up for next week. I got another sale show lined up and I'm gonna need you to head that up too, while I do damage control at home. Ya feel me?" He said never skipping a beat.

"Fo' sho' my nigga. I got you. Handle ya business."

"Right, right. You gonna be down there for at least two days though tomorrow. That’s if you don’t finish early and catch a same day flight but the ticket is open. That's cool?" He asked turning his attention towards the crowd of patrons.

"Shit, no doubt. I’m only going down there to recruit some meat right? So that shouldn’t take long at all."

"Hmm. Good. When you get back I'll have some dough lined up for you. About 500k this time. You still got some dough left to spend out there right?"

"Yeah, I'm good. Damn that’s a grip this time huh?" I replied, watching as Lasha made her way through the crowd over to me.

“Yep. This trip is kind of…special.”

Yolo started to head off upstairs to his office until I tapped his shoulder to wait up. He took a few puffs of his cigar before getting a good glimpse the way Lasha was wearing that tight red Versace dress she had on. She kissed me seductively as I wrapped my arm around her hourglass shaped figure.

"Yo, I wanted you to meet my new fiancé, Lasha. Lasha this is my boy, Yolo. My bro and owner of this club." I said as they shook hands.

"It's nice to finally meet you. I've heard so many nice things about you." Lasha gleamed.

"That's funny. I haven't heard much about you." Yolo spat squinting his eyes over towards me. "Marriage huh? Congratulations."

  "Thank you." She smiled.

  "Thanks bro."

"I'm sorry but haven't I seen you somewhere before?" Yolo asked walking up closer to her.

"No. No I don't think we've ever met before." She replied quickly.

"Your face seems oddly familiar. You're Latina right?" He asked.

"Latina and black. Yes." She assured him as she nodded her head.

"Aha. Bred and raised in the states?" He pressed.

"Yep. Uh huh. Sure am." Lasha smiled staring into Yolo's eyes as he stared back suspiciously.

I had no idea what the fuck was going on between the two of them but I wasn't stupid. As long as they weren't both about to bust out and say that they slept together or they dated each other I was cool. Either one of those would have made Lasha's ass a liar and she knew how I felt about that shit. I played the fool for many years with Mink's ass and I would be damned if I allowed another woman to have me that open. I loved Lasha with every fiber of my being but truth was that Mink had already fucked that part of me up for the next chick.

"Yeah. C, lemme holla at you in my office, killa." He said walking off towards the winding staircase. "Lil' lady, why don't you go help yourself to anything at the bar and enjoy the club. Let grown men talk. Your man will be back down in a minute."

I kissed her on the lips before watching her saunter back off into the crowd. A part of me was hoping she didn't get too mad at the fact that I hadn't spent much of two seconds with her since we've been in the club. But I knew just how to make it up to her later. I headed up the stairs already having a feeling in the back of mind of what Yo wanted to talk about. It was no question that the elephant in the room was the fact that I was willing to marry Lasha so fast. But he doesn’t know that we have a history together and that I had already gotten to know everything that I needed to know about her from the half a year she worked with me at Home Depot.

“Shut the door.” Yolo mumbled as he puffed on his cigar.

“Sup?” I asked shutting the door behind me.

“What are you doing, C?” He asked staring out of his office window at the crowd below. “You don’t even know that broad.”

“I knew you were going to
think that but like I said before she is a chick from my old job. I’ve known her for damn near a year now. She had been checkin’ for a nigga long before this even came about but trust me when I say I’ve gotten to know everything about her and—“

“Naw, bro. I don’t think you know everything about her.”

“Trust me. I know everything there is to know about this girl. She’s a good one, mane. She’s studying to become a doctor and before I made her stop going she worked at Home Depot for almost a year. Then to top it all off, she ain’t tainted.” I smiled to myself after reciting that fact.

“What you mean she ain’t tainted?” Yolo turned staring at me.

“She’s untouched. I mean, I’ve tasted her a few times but other than that she’s never been touched. It don’t get no better than that in my book.”

“Is that right?” Yolo asked slowly taking a seat in his oversized black leather office chair. “And you know this, why? Because she said so?”

“I see what you’re getting at, dog.” I exhaled slowly. “But I’m telling you, she’s one of the good ones.”

“I know that girl from somewhere, C. I’ve seen her or I’ve fucked her, I don’t know right now. I can’t put my finger on it right now but I know that I’ve seen her somewhere before.” Yolo was adamant.

“Shit you might have seen her when she was at work if you went in the store one day.” I suggested.

“Nigga, I don’t go shopping in regular stores often. I send motherfuckas to get shit for me. You know that.”

“Well I don’t know, Yo. You’re probably just trippin’ or something.” I shrugged. “But I’mma gon’ out here and enjoy the club and shit. You should come down and have a little fun yourself. Show your wife a good time and try to get her to forget all about that bullshit that went down earlier.”

“I don’t party. Don’t you know that by now? Besides, she needs some air to breathe. I plan to give her just that.” He spoke between smoke puffs. “But you’re a fool if you marry this bitch, C. You movin’ too fast, partna. You need to slow the fuck down.”

“Yeah, yeah I feel you bro. I’m out though, Yo. Holla at you in the A.M. before the flight.” I said walking towards the door.

“Don’t study long on my words, Cesar. You’re like a brother to me.”

“I appreciate the look out bro. No doubt.” I said walking out the door.

I heard every word he said but I wasn’t feeling much of it. He might have thought he knew Lasha from somewhere but was probably mistaken. She probably just looked like one of the many bitches he had fucked in the past. Nothing made me feel like she was lying about being a virgin either. But in his eyes she was just another lying bitch. I couldn’t see why he ever dealt with the rats that he dealt with when he had a beautiful wife at home. Some men just needed to have their cakes and eat them too but that wasn’t my taste and every woman wasn’t a liar.

Once I made it back to the club floor, I chilled in the cut catching a peek of Lasha at the bar. Her elbows rested on top it and her head rested in one of her palms looking bored as shit while she toyed her black straw around in her tiny drink. Dudes were coming up to talk to her from the left and right but could only spit game to her for a few seconds before she sent them on their way. That’s what a true female did when she’s in a relationship. That’s exactly what I was looking for.

“Hey baby. Can I get your name beauty?” I whispered like a porno flick, romantically into her ear as I walked up from behind.

“No, I’m waiting on my King to come back from handling his business.” She smiled as she turned in her seat to wrap her arms around my neck.

“Is that right? Well here I am baby.” I responded gently coating my lips with my tongue’s wetness. “How’s about we get out of here? I know a great spot we can go chill and eat at.”

“Oh yeah, where’s that?” Her lips touched mine.

“A sweet little eatery around the way. It’s called, in between them thick ass thighs.”

“Well, shit let’s go baby.” She responded as I took her hand in mine helping her out of her seat.

She grabbed her purse off of the bar and headed out with me. Mink stood in the far corner of the bar watching us maneuver through the crowd like a hawk stalking its prey. Even though I had told that bitch to get lost in traffic, something deep inside told me that she still wasn’t willing to give up. That bitch was relentless that way. I purposely leaned back to give Lasha another sweet little peck on her lips before continuing on to the exit, just a little something something to piss her pestering ass off once more. If Mink didn’t believe anything, she was going to believe one way or the other that it was over between us. End of discussion.

  Chapter 10—Mink

That motherfucka thinks he’s doing big shit, kissing that high yellow bitch in front of me. I’m so glad he thinks he’s winning but he just doesn’t know that his whole life was about to change. Yolo was nowhere to be found on the ground floor and neither was Flava. I was hoping that wherever they were they weren’t there together. His crew was sitting in the booths to the far corner of the club away from the staircase leading to his office. Since Cesar had come from that area that was the place I wanted to check first.

Discreetly, my beautifully shaved well oiled legs moved up the staircase slowly, pretending to appear like I didn’t know where I was going and that I was lost. It would be my cover just in case someone tried to stop me or if I accidentally bumped into Flava’s whiny ass. I reached a long dark hallway at the top of the stairwell with only a couple of doors down the way. It was silent and eerie like a dead end street and as reluctant as I was to travel down it I did it anyway. The first door to my right appeared to be slightly cracked with a hint of light shining through it and a trace of charcoal smelling tobacco.

“Knock, knock. Can I come in?” I asked walking into the room finding Yolo standing at a big glass window staring out into the flashing blue strobe lights on the other side.

“What are you doing here, Mink?” He asked turning to see me plop down into one of his leather chairs.

“Oh…well,” I began trying to quickly think of a lie to his sternly asked question. “I had saw Flava downstairs balling her eyes out and thought maybe I should come up here to see if you were okay and also let you know.”

“Oh…thanks but she’ll be cool. She just needs some time to get over it that’s all.” He said looking up at my attire as I crossed my legs to give him a better view of my stems. “Did she bring you here with her?”

“What? Oh no, I came alone.” I lied. “So, are you guys okay?”

“Why don’t you go ask her?” He replied vaguely.

“Hmm. Well, I did ask her and all she could tell me was that it was over.” I said standing to walk around his desk.

  “She said that, huh?”

“Yep. Said that she told you about the guy who’s been busting her back out for the past three years and you didn’t give a damn. She said she only told you because she wanted you to step up and be a man and finally pop a baby off in her ass but you couldn’t get it up.” A smirk filled my face as the lie rolled off my tongue effortlessly. “I was like wow! I couldn’t believe she told you that. But apparently her plan backfired.”

  “She said what?”

“I know right? That’s what I said. I just couldn’t believe that she finally told you about that guy. I mean we all knew about him and she had convinced herself that it was all to teach you a lesson.”

  “Is that right?”

“Yep. But I mean that doesn’t faze you, right? Seeing as how you’ve got a million women chasing after you though.”

I walked over to him rubbing his shoulders realizing we were the exact same height. Our eyes locked and our lips almost scraped one another’s, that’s just how close we were. The desire to kiss was there but I didn’t want to move too fast and startle him before I got him. Of course I knew that the thoughts of me being his wife’s sister rolled through his head so I wanted to make sure I play
ed delicate to those feelings and allowed him to take me. I permitted my hand to gently graze his package knowing that it would send a signal to his brain once I did.

It definitely caught his attention. I leaned in slowly just enough to get him to lean in and kiss me but once I felt the shove on my shoulders, my disposition changed immediately. I wasn’t counting on him to push me away like that let alone so roughly. He had this menacing look on his face like he wanted to cut me up and throw me in a dumpster or some shit. But what he wasn’t counting on was how determined a bitch like me was.

“You know what you need daddy? You need a bitch like me in your life who’s going to treat you how you deserve to be treated.” I sneered as my body swayed over to him once more.

“Mink, you need to get the fuck outta my office wit that shit. Real motherfucking talk.” He demanded.

“Why? Because your wife is afraid of a little sisterly competition or is it because you know deep down in your soul…you belong to me.” I said casually bumping my breasts to his chest.

“I belong to no one shorty.”

“Well that may be true now but I do believe that once you realize that you need a woman like me on your team, you’ll change your mind about that.” I kissed his neck gradually moving down to his silk dress shirt. “I’m everything you need. I don’t fight with bitches no matter what they’re talking about, I know my role and how to let you play yours and I know when to get on my knees and shut the fuck up.”

“You do, huh?” He breathed heavily.

“Yes sir. Some women can’t handle a real man like you Yolo. I’m here to let you know that you chose the wrong sister. She was never meant to be your equal because she doesn’t have what it takes to take care of a real man.” My voice was seductive as my fingers tickled his side close to his waist. “You can pop as many sons inside of me as you want, baby.”

“Oh yeah? Word? And so she’s cheating on me, right?”

  “She is baby.”
