  “I wasn’t sure . . .” she trailed off, unsure of herself.

“Come here,” he said, motioning with his finger for her to come closer.

He expected her to walk around the bed to the other side, but instead, she began crawling onto the bed on all fours, letting him see down her cleavage as her breasts nearly fell out of the top. He couldn’t help but palm his cock. Summer’s hair fell over her shoulders in the process.

Before he could react, Summer straddled his lower torso and brought her lips to meet his in a demanding kiss. His hands trailed up and down her arms for a moment, grazing the outside of her breasts through the thin fabric.

He let his body flop down against the bed as she took control. He could feel her heated pussy against his stomach. She then trailed kisses down his jaw, her hands supporting her on his shoulders. He loved her taking control, and so did his cock as it begged for attention.

His hands tangled themselves into her hair, pulling her back to his mouth. He couldn’t believe just how just how far she had come in her sexuality.

Slowly, as their tongues explored, Summer’s body slid down against his cock, and his muffled groan was met with one of hers. His hands left her hair, trailed down her collarbone and to the tops of her breasts. She leaned up, letting his hands explore her body.

No words came to mind as he took his time touching all the exposed skin he could reach as Summer slowly moved her sheer clothed pussy against his aching cock.

Finally, Chase moved his hands to the hem of the nightie, taking it up and over her head as she raised her arms. Once her breasts were free, he let his hands run over her nipples, feeling them already pebbled. She gasped, arching into his warm hands as his thumbs swirled her hardened peaks.

Chase then trailed his hands down her sides and grabbed her ass as he raised up and his mouth landed on hers once more, grounding Summer into his cock. He could feel her heat, her wetness, through the two thin layers of clothing separating them.

Not able to take more teasing, Chase flipped Summer over onto her back as she let a squeak of surprise escaped her parted lips. He quickly kicked off his boxer briefs, not caring where they landed before he slowly took her black thong off her body. He could smell her arousal as he did so.

He made his way back up her body, kissing his way upwards. He stopped to suck on her breasts, extracting a moan of need out of his wife. He made sure to give each of them the same amount of pleasure before meeting her lips once more.

While the other kisses had been hard and filled with need, this one was filled with love. His cock brushed against her wet lips, and he couldn’t help but keep a slow rhythm, teasing both of them.

“Please,” she moaned out as he broke the kiss.

  “Please, what?” he asked out.

“I need you,” she huffed out, trying to arch her body into his.

Without another word, Chase lined up his cock and pushed into her. He did it slowly, not wanting to bring his climax too soon. He was already so close to exploding.

“Yes,” Summer moaned out once he was all the way inside of her, her hands wrapped around his neck as he slowly pulled out. Then pushed back in just as slow.

Summer knew she was close, she just needed something more.

With each thrust, Chase sped up, hitting Summer’s clit against his pelvis. He then took one hand down to her clit, and pressed his thumb, instantly feeling her walls spasm against the action.

He did it again as he thrust harder into her, her moans increasing.

“Come with me,” he grunted out, knowing he was close by the way his balls tightened with her walls contracted around him. Summer came, hard, squeezing everything he had to give out of his cock. His warm seed spilled into her pussy like it hadn’t had a drink for millions of years.

Spent, Chase placed his head on her shoulder, catching his breath. He could feel her naked breasts against his as his cock began to soften. Her pussy still spasming around him. Summer kissed his shoulder running her fingers through his hair. She was amazed at how Chase could control her body. She wanted, no needed to show him she could do the same for him.

She began to run her fingernails up and down his side then digging them into his ass, his little temptress was wanting more and Chase could feel his cock began to grow. It wouldn’t take long for him to be ready for round two, and Summer wanted to ride him, showing him that she could, and would, be in control of his needs as much as he was hers. He didn’t even care at the moment that he forgot to use a condom.

  Chapter 14

Summer was more than ready to go back home. They had stayed in the pool for about two hours, just enjoying the feel of the water. Jack and Peter only stayed for an hour before saying they would let the two have some time to themselves, knowing that once they got back home, there would be issues that needed to be taken care of.

Chase’s phone kept ringing, but he ignored it, knowing his father would be able to handle any demanding issues that came about. He didn’t want to turn it off, just in case Ivan called. Of course, Peter was able to answer any calls if need be. Chase didn’t want to risk missing a call from his father, though.

Summer liked the pool area and the water was low enough it just barely touched her shoulders, so she had no fear of not being able to swim. She could see out the windows, as most of the room was caged in windows that let them see outside to the snowy view, but no one could see in.

Chase kept a hand on some part of her at all times, not able to stop touching her. The feel of her was addicting, let it be in bed, or just walking down the hall. He just had to touch her.

Chase and Summer didn’t swim in the pool, although Chase would have loved to teach her how. Instead, they simply walked from one end to the other, enjoying each other’s company. They talked, getting to know one another better.

Since Summer didn’t have the best shoes, let alone boots, to be walking in the foot of snow that had fallen overnight, they decided to stay in the hotel, ordering most of the meals in, and enjoying the amenities.

Chase shared his childhood memories with his wife, wanting her to know how hard he tried to come up with a plan to get her out of hell. Summer wasn’t upset about it, knowing that everything had worked out in the end, and that was all that mattered now.

“Are you happy with the house?” he asked, wanting to know what Summer thought of his house.

“Yeah, of course? Why?” she asked, not sure why he’d want her opinion on a house he had for years. It was huge, much bigger than she was ever used to. It had grown on her over time.

“If you didn’t like it, I could easily have someone make us a house that you like,” Chase said, knowing how easy it was to do so.

“I like your house, Chase,” Summer said, looking up at him as they sat in one of the lounge chairs with towels around their bodies, drying off some before heading back to the room. “It fits you.”

“It’s our house, not just mine. I want it to be a place you can call home, where we can raise a family,” he explained, looking at her with love as he held a hand between his two.

“A family?” she repeated, not sure what he was getting at. He had said that he didn’t want children, so she was confused on where this thought had come from. She knew that they didn’t use protection, but she held hope that she didn’t end up pregnant. Kayla had yet to get her a prescription since Chase had yet to bring it up with his mother.

“Yes. Not now, though,” he said, making sure to keep his voice calm. He had been thinking a lot, knowing what was to be expected of him sooner or later. “We are no way ready for one right now, but Sebastian's gift to us, that crown, was a statement of what is to be expected of me – us. He expects us to have an heir. I know once I fully take over, and get everything settled to how I want it, that maybe we should consider it.

“Sebastian really is stressing the matter. He probably has someone keeping an eye on me to make sure that I do have an heir in a certain amount of time.

  “So I want the hous
e to be somewhere you feel comfortable raising a family and living for years to come. We may have about five years to prepare, which right now seems like more than enough, but in reality isn’t,” he ended.

“Oh,” Summer replied, blinking. She was at a loss for words. She wasn’t sure she could ever care for a child full time, let alone want her own. Being only eighteen, although feeling twenty years older, wouldn’t help. She couldn’t see motherhood being something she could achieve.

“Just watching you with Sarah, I saw that you would make a fabulous mother. You act on instinct around her, doing things that someone else would never think about until it was too late,” Chase said, seeing the confusion on her face. “After seeing you with her, I want nothing more than to see you with my child growing inside of you. Then watching how you would fall in love with him, or her. You’d be amazing. You are amazing.”

“Chase,” Summer said, not sure what to say. She didn’t want to be pregnant; wasn’t that known from the only time she had been? Why would Chase want her to be with child after seeing her kill the one that had been there because he didn’t want it, and neither had she? Yes, it had been an unbearable time filled with confusion on if it was Chase or Nick’s child, but she still had ended a life growing inside her. Had he really get past that? Could she?

“That’s why I said not right now, honey,” Chase spoke, placing his hand on both sides of Summer’s face to get her back to the present. He knew she was going to a place that she didn’t need to return to. “I don’t expect it right now. It’s okay to not want to be a mother right now. Heck, I don’t want to be a father, but the idea is appealing when we are both ready. And not before then.”

“Promise?” Summer asked, her voice small. She felt small in the huge world all of a sudden. She refused to be ready for that step but wasn’t going to let Chase know that. “I’m not even on birth control like you wanted.”

“Promise, my Princess. And that is my fault. I forgot to have mom pick some up,” Chase said before pressing a tender, loving kiss against her lips. He knew that if anything happened due to the nightly events, he’d tear himself up over it. He was stupid enough to forget to use protection.

She could feel his love poured in that one, lingering kiss as it reached her toes. She loved him with all her heart but knew she would never be able to be a mother. Not with the way she had grown up, nor with the threats that were out there.

By the time they got back to the room, Peter was waiting to talk to Chase. Summer, not wanting to seem to eavesdrop, although her husband wouldn’t have minded, took a long hot shower to get her thoughts in order and give the two men a chance to talk.

Chase had a good inkling of what Peter wanted to talk about, and with check out mid-morning the next day, there would be no use putting it off. He changed clothes quickly in the bathroom, making sure to kiss Summer long and hard, before returning to the main bedroom part of the room.

“Your phone keeps going off with the same number,” Peter started once the shower was heard from the bathroom. He kept his voice low anyways. “It’s not Trent.”

“Saul Rodrigo,” Chase sighed, knowing exactly who it was. He took a seat in one of the chairs at the table, Jack taking the other one.

“Yes. I answered, and said I’d let you know he’d been calling you,” he went on. “He wants to talk to you about Trent taking Valerie back. I’m not entirely sure how he plays in that decision, but Saul said he’d be taking action if Trent refuses to co-operate.”

“Figured as much,” Chase mumbled. “Trent messaged me yesterday, and I said I’d talk to him in more detail once I return home.”

“Why would Saul be so upset with him over a failed marriage?” Jack asked as he didn’t know the man’s personal business like he did Chase.

“Many reasons,” Chase said. “But mostly for the fact that Trent has left his daughter, and they have gotten a divorce, and since I took her phone, she has no way of contacting anyone. Saul is starting to worry where she went, and Trent won’t tell him. He doesn’t know, so really, he has no way of saying.”

“What threats could he possibly make against you?” Peter wanted to know.

“He’s a smart man,” Chase said. “So it could be anything. I’ll give him a call tomorrow. He won’t be happy, but Trent knows how to handle himself if need be. But for now, I think Trent should ignore Saul too.”

“Got it, boss,” Peter said with understanding. “Now, Sebastian has also called.”

“Great,” Chase said with a sigh. He didn’t want to deal with him. “What did he want?”

“Wanted to make sure you had received his gift,” Peter spoke. “He wanted to make sure you understood the meaning.”

“Yes, loud and clear,” the man mumbled out. “Not happily understood, but understood all the same.”

“He has someone keeping an eye on you, to make sure it’s followed through in a timely manner,” Peter went on.

“Figured as much. I talked to my wife about it, and we will go that route if or when we are both ready, no matter if there are eyes on us or not. I will be taking over fully in a matter of months once Ivan officially steps down. It won’t be a major concern for long.”

“If they try to overrule it?” Peter asked out. That was what he was good at, making sure that Chase did look at every angle correctly.

“There’s a good possibility that Summer won’t want children, and with the way she looked at the idea is a good indication, I have to make sure that it isn’t forced on us. I know of the threats, but once I’m the Don of the family, and everyone knows of my stance, I will be able to have a say over how I live, and how my wife lives. Along with how we will continue onward,” Chase spoke, his voice non-threatening, but hard and demanding.

“Yes, sir,” Peter said, knowing his place. “I will make sure everything is taken care of.”

“Good,” Chase replied, letting his body relax. “I will have the house ready to make it look like we are trying, to fool anyone that needs to be. As you know, Ryder is my second in command, so the lineage will go to him if anything happens to me at any time.” Of course, that was if Ryder and Zinna had a child of their own.

“Even if you do have an heir?” Peter asked, not sure what his boss was thinking. Changing the way the world was running was one thing, but ignoring the way his family was to have children, and how they acted was a totally different thing.

“I will admit; I do want one. Summer knows, but it’s not worth her stress to have one. I promised her I would never force her to do what she didn’t want to do, and I’ll hold onto that promise for as long as I can,” Chase said, knowing that his guard, and friend, would have things in place to help him do that.

“Your secret’s safe with me,” Peter said, standing up and pushing the chair back in. “A car will be ready by ten tomorrow. Ivan also demands a meeting once you get back. I’m not sure what it’s about as he didn’t say.”

“Thank you, Peter,” Chase said, hoping that it wasn’t anything serious. It wasn’t often that his father called meetings, so he knew it meant someone would be saying a goodbye.

Peter made his way out of the room with Jack following, and Summer came out of the bathroom, dressed in comfortable clothes.

Her mind was still reeling. She had been around the mafia family long enough to know that what Chase said about a starting a family was just the start of new issues she would be having to face. She hoped they could figure something out to wait for at least a year, if not more, before starting that family.

Maybe, if she became more involved with the family business, like Chase was teaching her, it would work to keep any expectations from rising a little bit longer. Summer would be sure to talk about it further with her husband later in a week or two. Or maybe six.

For now, Summer was more than happy to just spend time with her husband. Her bag was already packed and ready to leave the next day, as she caught the last little bit of what Peter had said. They would be leaving as early as possib
le, since the plane ride back would be at least two hours, depending on the weather.

Summer was determined to show his family, his followers, that she was strong enough to be next to her husband to help out if needed in just about anyway. Women may be seen as weak, but Kayla had a job and had quite a bit of say in a number of things. So Summer was certain that if she was able to prove herself to the men, she would be able to help Chase achieve what he planned to do.

  Chapter 15

Saul Rodrigo was the complete opposite of his daughter. He was short and overweight with a graying head of hair that he attempted to comb over. He always wore a suit that screamed money. His picture sat in the middle of the table, demanding to be seen as the men sat in chairs.

“What is this about?” Ivan demanded as he took a sip of his cold ice water that a non-disclosed waiter had sat before each of the men. Looking at the Don, no one would expect that he had been fast asleep an hour prior. He hardly glanced at the picture of the man before him, already knowing who it was.
