Brothers Black 3 : Toby the Protector (Brothers Black Series )

I want to remember this moment forever. I commit it to memory, before diving in again for another taste. I get her there once again, only to back off again.
“Wy,” she whines.
I chuckle, licking my face clean, then dragging my hand down my face to clean it of the rest of her juices. I inhale to catch her scent, closing my eyes to relish in it’s sweet fragrance.
“You have no idea how sexy you are,” I rumble, when I open my eyes once again.
“Please,” she pleads.
“Please, what,” I chuckle.
“Please, let me finish,” she begs, with pleading eyes.
“Not a chance,” I smile.
I reach for the vibrator, I placed out for her. I run it through her juices, on the outside of her folds. I take two more passes before pushing it inside of her.
Nellie moans and purrs fill the room. I remove the vibrator, placing it in my mouth to suck her off of it. I coat it with my own saliva.
When I pull it out nice and wet, I reach for the lube squeezing some onto her tight asshole. I toss the lube and flicker my eyes up to meet hers. Nellie’s watching me intently, biting her lip, as she awaits my next move.
“You ready, Baby,” I ask, just before I start to slide the vibrator into her tight hole.
She only nods, while her lips part at my intrusion. I pinch her clit, between my thumb and forefinger. Slipping my other two fingers into her wet pussy.
“Good girl,” I purr, as she relaxes to take everything I’m giving her.
I remove the hand working her pussy, to turn on the vibrator in her ass. Nellie’s eyes roll back, as the vibrator comes on. I dive back into eat her hot little box.
“Wyatt,” she screams.
“That’s it,” I mumble into her sex.
“I’m so close,” she whimpers out.
“I know,” I growl.
I debate letting her have this one, but back off at the last minute. I want us to come together. If we’re going to be hiding things from each other, I at least need to know we’re okay here.
I strip out of my jeans and boxers quickly, kicking them off my legs. I’m back over Nellie, before she has anytime to really come down from her near orgasm. I’m already so turned on from watching her, I could explode.
“Fuck,” I growl out, once I push inside of her. “Damn.”
I can’t even think straight. My intention was to bring her to the brink, but with pussy this good, she has me ready to surrender to her. I grab the sheets on the sides of her head and grit my teeth.
I feel it before it happens. I don’t have to give the command. When I look in Nellie’s eyes, I know she feels it too. We both come together on silent screams.
I bury my face into her neck and inhale, making sure to hold my weight off of her. When I catch my breath, I sit up and look down at her. I’m not ready to release her yet.
I have more play in me. However, there is one thing I want to make clear. I peck my wife on her lips, hovering in her face as our eyes lock.
“Be clear, if I find out you and Toby are up to some shit that’s going to get your ass in trouble. I’m going to kick his ass and spank the fuck out of yours,” I say in warning.
“Now is not the time I want to think about your brother,” Nellie teases, with a cheeky grin on her lips.
“I’m not playing, Nellie.”
She sighs. “I told you. I was running errands. Nothing to do with your brother.”
I press my lips and give her the eye. Nellie’s eyes light up with mirth. “I don’t see anything funny,” I mumble.
“You have me pinned here like a crab and you’re acting all crabby,” she laughs out.
I can’t keep the smile from my lips. I shake my head at her and kiss her full mouth. I deepen the kiss, when she moans.
“You’re distracting me,” I rasp.
“Stop worrying,” she moans.
“Fine,” I huff, taking her lips again.
I’ll figure out what’s going on one way or another. Right now, I just don’t give a fuck. I have a whole lot more in store for Mrs. Black tonight. I want that baby we’ve been talking about.
chapter Twenty-Nine
Jealousy
Toby
Two months and two weeks later….
I had to get up and walk out for a minute. I’m so excited that my brother and his wife are having a baby. I know Wyatt is going to be so stoked when he finds out.
Nellie sort of told me and Kamara a while ago. Kamara has been super excited for her. Those two have become really close. It’s good to see Kamara with friends. I was piss when I first found out that Bean knew about my family, but I’m sort of grateful now.
Kamara has been looking so much more relieved. Now, she and Nellie have something else they can bond over and they seem, to be getting tighter by the day. I’m already in my feelings because I don’t know when I’ll be able to have that with Wyatt.
You know, being able to talk to my older brother, about how amazing it is to hold your baby in your arms for the first time. How it feels to hug your daughter to your chest and promise her the world. How good it feels to hold your son and wonder if he’ll be anything like you and pray that he won’t, while also hoping that he will.
“Hey, are you okay,” Nellie’s voice comes from behind me.
I blink back the tears I’m not about to let fall. I turn to see Nellie looking up at me, with concern in her eyes. I guess our bond has gotten tighter, in the last few months, as well.
“Yeah,” I say, not hiding my emotions well.
Nellie gives me a side glance. “Yeah, right,” she presses her lips.
I blow out a breath and look up at the sky. I’ve been out here in my parents’ backyard, trying to pull my shit together. I don’t want Nellie of all people to catch on to the fact that I’m feeling a little jealous.
“I didn’t want to ruin your good news with my mood,” I mumble.
“What mood, what’s wrong?” She lowers her voice. “Is TJ okay? Do you need me to cover for you?”
I look back down at my sister-in-law and smile. She’s always more concerned about how everyone else feels. It makes me feel even more like an asshole for being in my feelings.
I shake my head. “Everyone’s fine,” I reply. “I’m just having a moment.”
Nellie’s face softens. “I get it. You want to tell them about the twins,” Nellie looks down at her hands on her new little bump. I’ve noticed it over the last few days. “That must have been hard for you.
“Seeing everyone get excited over me and Wyatt having a baby and you already have two they don’t know about,” she muses. “I’m sorry.”
“For what?” I place a hand on her shoulder. “You have no idea what everything you’ve been doing for me and my family means to me. I know Wyatt was starting to become more suspicious, before he left and you still held onto my secret.
“It’s all been a lot to ask, but lying to Wyatt. I had no right to ask you to do that. The fact that you have, I just don’t have words for how grateful I am. It makes me feel like a douche for being out here in my feelings,” I frown.
“You have a right to your feelings. Your family is amazing. I would want to share that with everyone as well. In time, Toby. I know things are going to work out, in time,” Nellie says reassuringly.
“I didn’t know everyone would be so excited about new additions to the family,” I give a wistful smile. “It just made me wish I could share about mine sooner. I have to figure out how to bring them out of the dark.”
I sigh, bringing my hand from Nellie’s shoulder to run it through my hair. My mind is racing. I’ve been thinking of that one crazy idea more and more.
Dad has had me looking into somethings for my cousins, Brooklyn and Logan. I know it’s time. They’re going to be making moves soon. If I’m going to go with this option, I have to make a decision soon.
Kwäzē came in for a brief visit. He brought with him news that the people are getting restless, wit
h Afafa and the civil unrest he is causing. Nellie happened to drop by in the middle of our meeting. I was so glad I’d briefed him on the situation with her and Bean.
Kwäzē played things up perfectly. I would’ve believed the story had I not known the truth. His visit was short, but it brought a sense of urgency and reality to the situation.
“Kwäzē looked ready to help work things out,” Nellie says as of following my thoughts. If only it was as simple as Kamara’s family not liking me. “Maybe we can put our heads together and figure something out,” Nellie’s brows wrinkle, as the wheels start to turn.
“Oh, hell no. My brother is going to have my ass already. I’m not dragging you into this. And you’re pregnant. Fuck, no,” I shake my head adamantly.
“Oh, come on. I can help. I mean, you’re not putting me in any danger,” Nellie pleas.
“Yes, yes, I am. I’ve already put you in enough. Listen to me, Nellie. I may have told you half of the story. I can’t tell you everything, but trust me. Wyatt will kill my ass if I put you any further in the middle of this,” I explain.
“In the middle of what,” Ry asks, popping out of nowhere.
Nellie and I both snap our heads in his direction. My heart starts to pound. Of all my nosey brothers, Ry is the last one I need to have poking his nose in my business.
“Nothing,” Nellie waves her hand.
She is surprisingly calm about it. I have to take my hat off to her. I’m impressed. Nellie looks at her watch, then between Ry and I.
“It’s getting late. I want to get some things done before I have to head home for my call with Wyatt. I’ll see you guys in the office,” she sings and floats off, as if nothing has happened.
I smile at my sister-in-law. I’m glad I decided to confide in her. She has proven to be a good friend and sounding board when needed.
“Wyatt’s going to beat the shit out of you. Whatever you’ve dragged Nellie into, drag her back out, before he gets back home,” Ry says, with his eyes narrowed on me.
I sigh, folding my arms over my chest. I get ready to open my mouth, but Ry cuts me off. He steps into me and leans in towards me.
“Don’t even try to deny it. I left you alone when it was just you. It’s not anymore,” Ry hisses.
“Look, I haven’t gotten Nellie into anything,” I mumble.
“I’m not talking about Nellie. Youngest, not the dumbest, Bro. I know about your family. I’ve kept my mouth shut. I still can’t believe it,” Ry growls.
“How the fuck? How long have you known?” I lower my voice and hiss back.
“About a week. I could see how agitated Wyatt’s been getting with you. I also noticed that Nellie and Bean seemed to have been in on whatever it was you had going on,” Ryan shrugs.
“I saw Nellie acting strange one day and you seemed out of it too. Then, I turnaround and Bean looks all out of sorts. I followed you home that night, or at least, I thought we were heading to your home,” Ry twists his lips and looks at me hard.
“Listen, there’s a lot you don’t know or understand about all of this. I need you to keep this to yourself,” I demand.
“Bro, I already get that you have yourself in something that’s way over your head. My brother would never have an entire fucking family he’s hiding from the rest of his family. So, yeah, I’ll keep this to myself, but you better fix this shit and keep Nellie and Bean out of it,” Ry snaps, turning on his heels and storming away.
I shove both of my hands in my hair. This shit is just unraveling all around me. I suck in a deep breath. I’ve been so busy trying to conceal this. I think that is my main problem.
I can’t protect Kamara and my children if I continue to hide them, to hide it all. Right here, in the backyard of my parents’ home I make a decision. As soon as my brothers get back from their assignment, I’m going to tell everyone the truth.
It’s time.
chapter Thirty
How Could You
Toby
Two months later…
Funny how when you make up your mind, the Universe seems to start making moves for you. My dad decided to stick me with an out of state bounty. With so many hands scattered, I couldn’t wiggle my way out of it.
It was supposed to be a quick job. I figured I could leave my family at Wyatt’s, with Nellie. Just for the day or two it would take me. I didn’t expect it to take me four days.
The asshole almost gave me the slip, landing my ass in Utah before I collared him. I was on my way home when I got the call from Ry. I mean, literally, on my way home. I was in route to Wyatt’s to pick Kamara and the kids up.
I still can’t shake the looks of shock and disappointment; my father and Braxton wore as Ry held my son in his arms trying to soothe him. It’s so clear that TJ is my son. He’s a mix of Kamara and me.
There’s no mistaking those golden eyes. The copper brown hair is another giveaway. It’s not as light as mine, but the red strands mixed with brown are a dead giveaway.
However, I think I’d take my father’s look of disappointment over my mother’s reaction any day. I’m still reeling over how she stumbled back, when we walked into the door. My father had to rush to her side.
Her eyes bounced between a sleeping TJ’s face and mine. I’ve never seen my mother speechless. I didn’t have time to explain. I had to call Wyatt and Noah. Now, Wyatt and Noah have ended the call, looking like they’re ready to kill me and I can feel my mother’s eyes glued on me.
I’m too much of a coward to look at her. I keep my eyes on my son, as he plays with my shirt, content in his own little world. I wish my life were as simple once again.
Whack. Whack. Whack.
My mother slaps me in the back of my head three times. She reaches for TJ, handing him to my father, kicks off her shoes, balls the hem of her skirt in her left hand, and toss a fist at my face with her right.
I’m too stunned to move out of the way. I just sit there and take it. I don’t know what else to do.
“I raised, ye. I dinna. I’m your mum. Ye keep not one, but two wee babes for me? I birthed ya big ass. I pushed ye out,” she snarls as she dances around me, slapping me upside the head once again, for good measure.
“Mom,” Braxton calls, but doesn’t dare get in her way.
“Ye, mind ya own fucking business, ya little shit,” she points a finger at Brax. Her accent has slipped into being so thick, I don’t think anyone outside our family would understand her.
I know she’s pissed because her Northern Ireland accent is mixing with Dad’s Scottish one. Dad may not speak with an accent much, since being ops, but it comes out once in a while. With Mom, her Irish accent is always there, but she always slips into the two when she’s at her limit.
“Holy shit,” Ry gasps.
“How could ye? Dinna I make it so ye can come to me? Haven’t I made it so ye can count on me? I dinna ken. I just dinna ken why,” my mother nearly sobs.
I feel my own heart breaking. I finally snap out of shock, as I hear my father cooing to my son. I stand, and my mother jumps back, balling her fists, as if I would dare try to hit her back. I think that pains me more.
I feel like she doesn’t know me anymore. That’s the only reason she would ever think I would strike her. I reach out wrapping my arms around my mother, drawing her trembling body to my chest.
I know she’s trembling with anger and not fear. I’ve hurt her more than I ever could have imagined. When her arms wrap my waist and she buries her face in my chest, I’m completely shattered.
Cassidy Black is the strongest woman I know. I can count the times I’ve actually seen her cry. I’m ripped to shreds knowing I’m the source of this second time.
“I didn’t do it to hurt you. I never wanted to hurt you,” I choke out. “You did everything right, mom. You did everything you were supposed to. Believe me, if I could have, you would have been the first one I would have come to.”
Mom lifts her face to look up at me. Her brows furrow at my words. I watch her ey
es search mine. I see the moment her anger shifts from me, as her face clouds over.
“Call me brothers, Joe. Someone’s fucking with my boy,” she orders, not looking away from my face.
“Lass, I’ve placed the right calls. I’m not as dense as Toby here seems to think. I missed the twins, but I got wind of most of what he’s been up to,” my dad grumbles, while giving me a knowing look.
Mom spins out of my arms to face my father. Her hands going to her hips. They don’t say a word out loud, but I can see the argument my parents are silently having.
“We work for the Naidoo family. Toby was a boy when we took the case. I placed him with Kwäzē, as a companion. If anything were ever to happen, Toby would have known what to do. When Kwäzē was skipped a grade. I reassigned Felix the task, he’d already been working on it, handling some technical things.
“They were babes,” mom cuts him off.
“Aye, but I taught them well, early. Kamara arrived shortly after and her father asked that I have Toby keep an eye on her,” my father responds. “Wyatt used to be a liaison for getting information to the king.”
“We be a bounty and private investigation firm. When did ye decide we’d be going into security?” My mother says with a deathly calm.
My dad sighs, kissing the top of TJ’s head. My heart squeezes in my chest. I don’t even think he knows he just did that. My dad has just taken to his grandson without question.
“We aren’t necessarily their security. That was a favor I did for Elijah. Our firm makes sure that no one else can find them. We were hired to make sure that anyone like us could never locate them,” Dad explains.
My head is spinning with this new information. I stumble back to take my seat. All this time, I’ve felt so alone, and confused on what to do. My father knew about the Naidoo family all along. I once thought it was possible, but I’d just shrugged it off.
“You knew I was looking for her. You knew she’d moved out by the beach house,” I say, as my thoughts try to pull together.
