She let out a high pitched moan as I pulled her ass against my face, scooping her out as deep as I could while I worked her clit.

She tasted sweet and light- the perfect desert for the decadent feast I’d had earlier. And the fucking thought of her on her knees spurred me on until all I could hear over her panting breath was my tongue lapping at her wetness.

“Oh Ben,” she breathed. “You’re gonna make me come.”

As much as I wanted to drag out the fun I was having, I couldn’t stop licking her heat.

  “Oh god,” she cried.

I felt her pussy clench around my tongue, soaking it a second later, and I pulled her hips back against my face so I could drink every last drop of her pleasure.

When her upper body started to slip forwards, I lifted her hips and flipped her over, sliding her farther onto the landing so her lower back would be supported.

Then I licked my lips and crawled over her.

Her cheeks were bright red and her chest was rising and falling with her shallow breath. “That was amazing,” she said, her dimples deepening as she smiled. “Not exactly what I had in mind, but amazing.”

“I couldn’t help myself,” I said. “Just the fucking sight of your ass-” I clenched my jaw as I thought about it again.

It had been years since I’d gone down on a woman, and I felt like a fucking alchy who’d fallen off the wagon, like I could’ve eaten her again right then.

Except that wouldn’t give my dick the release it so badly needed.

She craned her neck up and gave me a peck on the lips.

The sparkle in her eye was enough to get me high. “Think you’re ready for me now?” I asked, grabbing my dick.

“I don’t know,” she said, pursing her lips. “Try again.”

I circled her burning snatch with the tip of my dick before sliding my head in again.

  Her eyes went wide.

I drove in a little more.

  “Fuck,” she breathed.

  “You okay?”

She nodded and squeezed her eyes shut.

I plunged in a little further.

“Oh god is that it?” she whispered, opening her eyes.

I saw a flicker of fear in her eyes as I sank balls deep. “That’s it.”

“Go easy,” she said, dragging a hand across my cheek. “I’ve never felt anything like that before.”

I’d had women say stuff like that in the past, but something about the look in her eyes told me she wasn’t bluffing.

So I took it slow. After all, I didn’t want to hurt her. I just wanted to fuck her.

But between how tight she was and my size, I couldn’t exactly pound her into submission.

Still, I didn’t mean for it to be so tender. It was fucking confusing for me.

I wasn’t supposed to spend that much time watching the subtle movements of her face as I massaged her from the inside out… the flush of her cheeks, the depth of her brown eyes, the curves of her teeth as she sank them into her bottom lip.

But by the time I felt ready to come, I swear to god I was worried I was fucking in love with her or something.

Because what was supposed to be a quickie on the stairway to christen my club had turned into the most intensely intimate fuck of my life.

  “Come for me,” she whispered.

The pressure in my dick was almost unbearable, and I knew if her pussy squeezed me one more time, I was going to empty myself so deep inside her she’d be dripping in her panties for days.

I groaned, letting her choke every inch of me as slowly as I could stand.

And then she reached around my neck and pulled me down for a kiss, plunging her tongue into my mouth as she tilted her hips up, swallowing my dick as my gasp stole the breath from her mouth.

And then I shook over her, filling her with everything I had until there was nothing left.

Nothing but a bunch of feelings I never meant to have.

  Chapter 17: Carrie

It was the best fuck of my life.

And the most confusing one, too.

Because the way it started- with me fumbling at Ben’s belt buckle in a hurried attempt to feel anything but the reality of the bad decision I was about to make- wasn’t at all the way it ended.

I mean, I thought it was impressive when he first kissed me and made me feel like my mouth was some new addition to my face.

  But this was something else.

This was… well, nothing short of amazing.

Not that I had tons of experience to compare it to since I’d only ever been with Simon- who wasn’t packing anything close to what Ben was- but sex with him was never like that.

It was nice and everything. I always enjoyed it. But I’d never felt like I was such an integral part of the pleasure he was feeling.

Whereas Ben never took his eyes off me.

I felt like I was his whole fucking world while he was inside me. And he was so gentle. Loving even. Not at all how I was expecting him to be. But somehow- despite his monster dick- he hadn’t hurt me.

On the contrary, I’d never felt better- physically anyway. Mentally, I was obviously certifiable and clearly on the verge of a nervous breakdown that was already in the works.

I mean, what if Simon came crawling back now?

I couldn’t give him a second chance even if I wanted to. I’d let a total playboy lick me from behind and fuck me on the floor of an empty warehouse?!

My cheeks burned at the thought.

It never even occurred to me that someone might come at me like that. Sure, I’d heard that women could come just from someone’s tongue, and I assumed it was true because, well, lesbians.

But Simon had never eaten me out for any longer than it took to get me wet.

And that seemed to be around the time that Ben was only getting started.

Still, despite how dirty and wicked and completely inappropriate the whole encounter was, it was kind of sweet, too.

I rolled my head to the side to look at him.

He was propped up on his elbow, watching me, his enormous cock lying across his thigh.

“That was an Oscar worthy performance,” I said.

He smiled. “You weren’t so bad yourself. You might even get nominated for best supporting if you’re lucky.”

I lifted my head. “If I’m lucky?!”

“And you’ll definitely win soundtrack of the year.”

I furrowed my brow. “I didn’t make that much noise.”

“Yeah, you did,” he said. “But I liked it.”

  I dropped my head again.

“Except at one point when I started to worry God was actually in the room-”

  “Shut up.”

“Thanks for christening my club with me,” he said. “Wouldn’t be right to have someone else do it.”

I rolled my eyes. “You owe me a pair of underwear.”

  “Don’t hold your breath.”

“Excuse me?” I wiggled my skirt down and sat up on my elbows. “That’s destruction of property.”

“Too bad,” he said, sitting up. “I like you better without them.”

I was already sore from taking him in, and when I glanced at his smile, my mind felt as weak as my body.

He stood and turned around, his dick visible were it hung between his thighs as he went to retrieve his clothes from the stairs.

That’s when I started to panic because I couldn’t leave without the deal, and it didn’t seem right to agree to anything binding when I wasn’t wearing underwear.

  But I had no choice.

I stood up and dusted myself off, refusing to wonder about how dirty the floor was that I’d just laid on.

Then I walked to the top of the stairs, leaned against the brick wall, and pretended not to watch Ben as he put his pants on.

“Good thing you didn’t come home with me,” he said, stealing a glance in my direction. “Something terrible might have happened.”

  “Yeah, good thing.”

; He picked up my useless strand of underwear and tossed it to me.

I caught it and balled it up in my hand, crossing my arms to conceal it. “That’s the tour over, I assume?”

He nodded and came back up to where I was standing as he refastened his belt.

I raised my eyebrows. “So are you ready to stop role playing now?”

He put a hand up on the wall over my shoulder and tilted my chin up with the other hand. Then he kissed me one last time, holding his warm lips against mine until I felt completely braindead.

After he pulled away, I kept my eyes closed for a second, hoping that when I opened them, I wouldn’t still find him debilitating attractive.

  No such luck.

He was looking at me when I opened my eyes, a self-satisfied smile across his face. “Gin, eh?”

  I sighed. “Are you done?”

He let his arm fall from the wall and stepped back. “Yeah, I’m done.”

“Are you fit to have a professional conversation now?”

  He laughed. “Are you?”

“I am,” I said, squeezing my underwear in my hand so hard the bottom of the ocean couldn’t have exerted any more pressure on it.

“Okay then,” he said. “Game over. You may resume your original form.”

I rolled my eyes. “Good. Have you also resumed?”

He shook his head. “No, I think I’m going to keep being your lover for a while.”

  “No you’re not.”

“I’m quite good at it, and I can’t get enough of things I’m good at.”

“I insist you stop it right now.”

“Fine,” he said. “I’m officially not your boyfriend anymore, even though you’re secretly devastated about it.”

  “I am not.”

  “Whatever you say.”

I reached for his wrist and checked his watch. “Seriously, Ben. It’s getting late. Let’s get out of here.”

He smiled. “So that’s how you roll, is it? You’ve gotten what you want from me, and now you’re ready to get out of here?”

I cocked my head. “The only thing I want from you is to figure out how we’re going to proceed on the project that is your club-”

“And the project that is your love life-”

  “Doesn’t concern you.”

  “That’s a shame.”

“Will you please stop for two seconds so we can have an adult conversation?”

He squinted like he was thinking about it.

“Since you never joke when it comes to business?”

“Oh right,” he said, nodding. “Fair enough. You start. Since there’s obviously something you want to say.”

“Yes.” I cleared my throat. “There is.”

  He raised his eyebrows.

“Can I be upfront with you?”

  “Of course.”

  “I want this deal.”

  “Yeah?”

“And not just because I know I can do a great job for you-”

  He fought back a smile.

  “But because I need it.”

He furrowed his brow. “What do you mean you need it?”

“I mean my business is relatively new and it would be a great opportunity for me, one that I would be very grateful for and wouldn’t fuck up.”

  He nodded.

“Trust me, no one will work harder on bringing your vision to life, and I won’t rest until you’re completely satisfied.”

“Well, I certainly like the sound of that.”

  Chapter 18: Ben

I had her right where I wanted her.

And loved every minute of it.

And now here I was- vertical and clothed- and I had her right where I wanted her all over again.

Frankly, the situation couldn’t have been better.

After all, I already wanted to give her the job and thought she was the best person to do it.

Of course, that was before I knew she needed it.

Now that I knew that, I had the upper hand in a way I hadn’t seen coming.

Not that I was surprised at the revelation. Between her business being new and her recent break-up with that foreskin who didn’t know what was good for him, it made sense that she needed a win.

And I was thrilled I could be the guy that could give it to her- and not just cause she was drop dead gorgeous with dimples that made me hard, but because she was a nice person.

And I didn’t spend enough time with genuinely nice people. Heck, a lot of my friends were even bigger assholes than I was, and most of the people my dad had me doing business with at the hotel were so self-important it was a chore to be nice to them.

  But Carrie wasn’t a chore.

She was sweet and good and had been hard done by, and it would bring me nothing but pleasure to be her knight at a time like this.

But if there was anything I’d learned from my dad, it was that when it came to doing a business deal, you should always figure out what’s in it for you. And then once you know that, spin the arrangement so the other person can’t believe how much is in it for them.

Cause that’s how you make an offer that can’t be refused.

Then again, maybe I learned that from The Godfather.

Whatever. The point was, I could flirt with her as shamelessly as I wanted from now on because I was going to give her exactly what she wanted- or as she put it, what she needed.

“Well?” she asked. “What do you think?”

I sighed and walked over to the railing, looking out at the floor of what would soon be the hottest club in New York. “That was a decent pitch, Carrie.”

She joined me at the railing, her eyes skimming my clenched jaw.

“And I do think you would do a great job.”

“I would. I have impeccable taste, and I have the right contacts in terms of getting what you need for the space-”

  I pursed my lips.

“Are you fucking with me right now?”

“No,” I said, turning to her. “I was fucking with you ten minutes ago.”

“Seriously.” She furrowed her brow. “You’re not going to do all that stuff with me-” She waved her free hand at where the magic happened. “And then not give me the job, are you?”

I craned my neck back and put a hand over my chest. “Are you implying that you slept with me to get this job?”

She crossed her arms and cocked a hip. “No.”

  “Well, that’s a relief because-”

“I’m implying that if you don’t give me the job, you’re a huge asshole.”

  I nodded slowly. “Right.”

“So?” she asked, raising her eyebrows. “What’ll it be?”

  “Okay.”

She leaned towards me. “Okay what?”

  “The job is yours.”

  She relaxed her shoulders. “Great.”

  “On one condition.”

Her face fell. “What’s the condition?”

I studied her face. She was so cute when she looked like she was on the verge of cussing me out.

  “What’s the condition, Ben?”

I ran a hand through my hair. “The condition is that you keep pretending to be my girlfriend until after my dad’s wedding.”

She turned an ear towards me. “What?”

“It’s simple. Basically, you accompany me to my dad’s wedding- as my date- and pretend to be my girlfriend.”

She pursed her lips as her eyes narrowed on mine.

“And if you encounter anyone in my social circle before then- like you did Ella tonight, for example- you keep up the charade.”

  “I don’t understand.”

I furrowed my brow. “What don’t you understand?”

“I don’t understand why a guy like you needs a fake girlfriend.”

  “What’s that supposed to mean?”

She swallowed. “Well, I imagine it wouldn’t be too much trouble for you to get a real girlfriend.”

I shrugged. “That may be true, but I don’t want a real girlfrie
nd.”

  “Why not?”

“Cause I’m trying to launch a new business and that’s stressful enough.”

She nodded. “I suppose I see your point there.”

“Plus, you’ve already fooled Ella so it seems pretty obvious that you’re the best person for the job.”

“The job of your fake girlfriend?”

  “Yeah.”

“Is this one of those times where you’ve told a lie and it just keeps getting bigger and bigger?”

  I exhaled. “Yes and no.”

  She cocked her head.

“Yes because I lied tonight,” I said. “But no because the whole thing will be over after my dad’s wedding so it won’t get any bigger than that.”

She rubbed the side of her neck with her hand. “I still don’t understand why you need a fake girlfriend.”

“Does it matter?” I asked. “There will be loads of rich people at the wedding with houses and yachts and all kinds of property that they constantly need to personalize and renovate.”

  “Uh-huh.”

“So as far as what’s in it for you, the answer is nothing short of the best networking opportunity money can’t buy.”

  “Mmm.”

“Frankly, I won’t be surprised if you leave the wedding with more leads than you know what to do with.”

  “Really?”

“I told you. I don’t joke about business. Not mine, not yours. Not anyone’s.”

“I get what’s in it for me,” she said, looking down and noticing one of her buttons had come undone. She buttoned it and looked back up at me. “Some date you’ll make if you won’t even tell me when my shirt’s undone.”

“I was going to tell you before we left.”

She rolled her eyes. “Yeah, right.”

“Trust me, I would’ve. I can’t have any girlfriend of mine going around giving free shows.”

“But going around without underwear is just fine?”

  I nodded. “Yes, indefinitely.”

  She groaned.

“So what do you say?” I asked. “Will you do it?”

She looked out at the open floor below and then back at me. “I’ll do it on one condition.”

  “Shoot.”

“Tell me exactly who we’re putting this charade on for.”

  “My dad.”

“Your dad?” she asked. “What does he care who you bring to his wedding?”
