Tryst Page 20

by Alex Rosa

The thought doesn’t sit well with me as I enter his bedroom. I close the door behind me as quietly as possible. The room is dark. His partially open blinds on his window above the bed let in minimal moonlight. The ambient light flickers with the pitter-patter of the falling rain against the glass.

I lay eyes on a sleeping Blake. I feel like I’m staring at my own Calvin Klein advertisement in a high-end glossy magazine. He lies on his back, and the blanket tangles around his lower legs, putting his bare chest on glorious display. The lighting adds definition and shadows to his lean abdominal muscles, and his designer boxer briefs hang low on his narrow hips. His face looks serene, and even in slumber, he looks to be pouting. I want to roll my eyes, and almost feel guilty for interrupting him—almost.

I climb onto of the corner of his bed. As it dips with the weight of my body, I wish it would wake him, but he doesn’t stir.

“Blake,” I whisper as I crawl up to him.

There seems to be a slight twitch in his body, but nothing more. I try again, my voice more of a whine. “Blake?”

I don’t want to be too loud, so I place my hand on his chest. He feels on fire, hot and inviting. I nudge him a bit and lean closer to his face, my fingers dancing lightly over his muscles.

  “Blake?”

His body shifts, but it isn’t enough to wake him.

I giggle as I watch his face scrunch up, and I realize I’ve had enough as I admire his angular face and pouting lips. I want those on me. Now.

I’m nowhere near experienced with this, but Blake gives me a sense of confidence I didn’t know existed. He makes me less scared to follow my instincts.

I lean my face closer to his, and do the only thing on my mind before trying one last time.

“Blake?” I press my lips to his as I nudge him harder in his chest.

As my mouth meets his, the strangest thing happens. I feel his mouth freeze, but his sleeping body accepts it a moment later. His hand, which was at his side only a moment ago, comes up to cradle my face. I grin against his lips.

An involuntary groan escapes his mouth as his eyes flicker open.

I worry that the shock of the interaction will cause him to leap back in annoyance, but it’s quite the contrary. He fully wakes, his eyes alight with humor as he continues to kiss back with more fervor.

In no way groggy from sleep, he overpowers me, pinning me back into the bed, ravishing my mouth.

I let out a satisfied sigh.

“I was dreaming of you,” he says in a low, seductive tone.

How is it he can be the most charming person imaginable sometimes, yet also the biggest ass on other occasions?

He hovers above me, his hand still cradling my face.

  “Is that so?” I ask.

He hums, grinning like an idiot. “It was kind of incredible to go from dreaming about kissing you to actually kissing you.”

He doesn’t let me respond as his lips are back on me, coaxing my mouth open, letting his tongue wrap around mine. My blood flames with desire as I find my hands coming up to tangle his hair.

He pulls away. “I’m glad you decided to take me up on my offer.”

I trail my hands down his toned biceps. “Your cryptic offer.”

He grins wolfishly. “You’re a smart girl. I knew you’d figure it out.”

I bite down on my bottom lip, getting shy. “I was worried you’d be mad I woke you.”

He shakes his head. “No way. How could I be mad? It’s so hot.”

Blake crashes his lips back to mine, and shifts his body between my legs. I can already feel his growing erection against the edge of my sex through my shorts.

I want him so badly. I sat through a horrible, ridiculously long action flick for this moment.

Between kisses, he says, “God, I want you.”

I don’t know why, but I feel starved for his touch. I drag my nails down his back, pulling him closer to me as I’m overtaken by a wave of lust engulfing me.

“You have me. Now what are you going to do to me?” I whisper.

I feel his chuckle against me, and his hips grind harder into mine, teasing me.

He pulls away only to trail nips and sucks down the nape of my neck. His hands make their way down to my breasts, kneading them before sliding down my clothed abdomen. He growls against my skin as he peels my tank top over my body, revealing my naked torso.

“Skyler, do you have any idea how hot you are?”

I don’t know how to answer. He drags his nose between my breasts and down my stomach, placing delicate kisses around my navel. I stifle a moan. My body bows at the sensation, and he pauses to peer up at me through his long lashes, barely hiding his carnal expression. He hooks his fingers into the waistband of my shorts, placing nipping kisses against my hips.

“You’re so hot and incredibly beautiful.”

I want to tell him to stop saying those untrue things, but with the uncanny ability to sense my self-doubt, he nips me harder, making my hips buck at the contact.

“You are.” He slips off my shorts and panties. “Now, what will I do with you?” he hums.

The question holds all sorts of possibilities. I watch Blake toss my clothes to the side as he sits up and leans back on his heels between my legs, looking down and admiring me.

There was a time where I would have covered my naked self, but there is something I thoroughly enjoy in the way Blake devours me with his eyes. A hint of a smile plays on his lips, and I tilt my head to the side.

  “What?” I ask.

“Your brother is down the hall.”

I pout, not wanting to hear about my brother. “I’m aware.”

“And you still came to my room?”

Now I’m growing impatient, lying naked for him, but I still find comfort in his presence.

“You said I can have you whenever I want, and I wanted you now.”

He chuckles. “Good to know you took me seriously.”

  “I always take you seriously.”

His lips twist with devilish intent, making my skin tingle in anticipation. “Turn over on your stomach, and bring your knees close to your chest.”

Even if my heart rate spikes, I don’t hesitate. I do as I’m told. I can’t see him any longer, so when I feel his soft, delicate kisses on my shoulder blades, my skin buzzes. My eyes sink closed, absorbing the tender sensations.

His breath is hot and humid against my back. “I’m gonna play some music low, but I think you better bite into that pillow. You aren’t the best at being quiet, and without my lips to silence you, well, you know . . .”

I can’t see his face, but I know his wry smirk is there. He pulls away from me, and I reach out for his pillow, bringing it close. He climbs off the bed, and I don’t budge. I’m so hungry for him that it becomes difficult to keep still, but soon the sound of music begins playing, low enough to muffle any sounds in combination with the rain outside. The mellow beats of an indie band I recognize thrum through the confines of the room, only amplifying my anticipation as I feel him return to the bed.

His erection presses between my thighs.

“Skyler, you have to try and be quiet, okay?”

I hum my agreement as I push my behind back and against him, and his sigh is even more satisfying.

  I want him this instant.

He presses the head of his cock inside me. Each inch feels better than the last, and I bite the pillow to stifle my moan.

Once fully inside me, I can hear Blake’s muffled words through his sigh. “You feel so good.”

He begins a slow, acclimating rhythm as his hands come to either side of my hips, his fingers digging into my skin as he quickens his pace. I’m overcome by the sensation and greedily push my hips back into his, matching his thrusts, feeling him deeper as he fills me. I have to bite down harder as I begin my ascent. My body stretches to accommodate all of him, filling me to the brim. This angle allows him just that little extra depth that teeters on painful, but I revel in it, basking in th
e feeling as I press back even harder, indulging in him. When I hear his muted groan, I know he approves. His hips begin to grow impatient, swinging faster into mine.

  “Skye, I’m going to come.”

I’m so close, and all I can do is let out a muffled moan into the pillow.

His right hand comes around my waist, cradling my sex in his palm as his body continues its relentless thrusts. He rubs against my throbbing clit and my body peaks. I try my damnedest not to shout his name as I explode in an earth-shattering orgasm, which only drags on as I feel him coming undone within me, pulse by pulse. The feeling is exhilarating as he collapses against my back. I try to catch my breath, releasing his pillow from my teeth, basking in the sticky layer of sweat that’s formed between us.

He lets out a long, leveling breath, letting his body calm, still inside me. I don’t know how long we stay like that, seconds, minutes, but the post-sex calm is one of my favorite moments, knowing that we both elicit the same trembling reactions from each other.

He places a kiss against my back as he pulls out, collapsing on the bed next to me. My body mourns the loss of his with a shiver before lying down to stretch my tight limbs, pushing back the pillow to where it belongs at the head of the bed. A satisfying exhale escapes me.

  I feel calm and spent.

Blake grabs for his comforter. He pulls it over my naked body, and with his smug expression, it’s almost an endearing move. He scoots closer, perching his head on his hand as he watches me.

My eyes are lazy with their post-coital dissection of him, which affects my mouth filter as I say crisply, “I think you’re a hypocrite.”

Maybe I should feel guilty for my outburst, but as I watch his bemused expression, I don’t regret it.

The music hums in the background, and he says, barely above a whisper, “Whatever do you mean?”

I sit up enough to place a chaste kiss against his lips, as if to butter him up. Surprising me, he follows my lips back down to the bed, prolonging our contact. When he pulls away, I lean against his chest.

“I rarely think you ever truly speak your mind around me. How am I supposed to do it for you, when you can’t do it for me?”

Blake’s eyebrows shoot up. This is when I worry I’ve said too much, or asked too much.

“It’s hard to explain,” he says, “but I tell you more than I tell others.”

I’m tempted to tell him my brother mentioned their best friend discussions, but I don’t.

“Do you?” I find that hard to believe.

“I know you think I’m an asshole, but generally, I’m a man of few words.”

“I’ve never known you to be a man of few words. Most of the time, it’s many.”

He stifles a laugh before pressing his lips to mine, hard, lingering, as if it was better than he expected.

I lift up my hand to thrum it against the stubble I notice at his jawline. It’s an intimate move, but I can’t help myself, and he doesn’t stop me. “I see it in your eyes that you have more to say. Like you’re keeping things from me. Are you?”

When there isn’t an immediate response, I turn to look at him, and his face is set in a hard line with one eyebrow cocked in intrigue. I guess we all have our secrets, and in fear of complicating what we have even more, I accept his silence. However, it makes me fear the truth.

“I do have something to tell you.”

I smile, eager to hear anything he’s willing to tell. “What’s that?” I whisper, and I try my damnedest to hide the excitement.

Blake grins wide, the dimple making an appearance., He leans back into the bed, turning away from me, almost bashful.

“Never mind. I don’t want to say it.”

I really have no idea what has gotten into me, but I don’t hesitate climbing on top of his naked body, turning him onto his back, and straddling his hips as I perch my chin on his chest.

“You have to tell me now,” I goad.

Surprising me, he lifts his head to kiss me and falls back into his pillow, as if needing a dose of confidence. I’m so glad it’s dark, because my face must be scarlet in bemused joy at capturing his attention like this, even if it is a late-night tryst. I wonder if he has pillow talks with his other flavors of the moment. The thought sours my disposition, and I do my best to focus on his glittering eyes.

“I’m afraid I’m going to jinx it.” He looks away again.

I know exactly what he’s talking about, and my body jolts at hearing his words, which makes his body tense, too, with the weight of mine.

He chuckles as he places his hands on my hips to steady me. “Jeez, Skye, take it easy.”

“You’re talking about work, aren’t you?”

His teeth clamp down on his bottom lip as he nods.

I stifle my squeal by burying my face in his chest. I lift it up when I feel his hand come up to brush my hair out of my face. It’s another sweet move that has captivated my silent attention.

“That’s where I was today. Auditioning.”

For a split second, I want to ask, “ALL DAY? Really?” but I bite my tongue, knowing that under our agreement, none of it matters.

  “How did you do?”

He rubs his face as stress and worry flood his perfect features, and through his hands, I can hear his muffled words. “I don’t know. It could be nothing. I may never get a callback.”

I chew my lip, basking in his adorable shift. Who knew Mr. Confidence could be, well, not so confident?

I take the opportunity by the horns. “Well hey, if this doesn’t work out, I think you’d have a great career in porn.”

His body tenses beneath me, and I’m doing my damnedest to hold back my laughter as Blake reveals a heated, no-nonsense glare. Oh, he doesn’t like that, but why do I find that look so hot?

He clenches his jaw and I think he expects me to apologize. I’m trying not to laugh. I lift my hand to his face, trailing my fingertips down his sideburns.

“I think I like it when you’re angry at me. It’s kind of hot.”

  “You’re incredibly sassy tonight.”

  “Isn’t it morning?” I goad.

He leans up, crashing his mouth to mine, silencing, or at least muffling any more sounds. The assault takes me by such surprise that I can’t stop laughing. I roll over due to the force of his lips. His mouth, never leaving mine, follows me as I stumble back into the bed, his body holding me down, causing that familiar buzz in my veins to begin.

He doesn’t stop kissing me until I’m quiet.

His eyes are wide but bright with humor and happiness. “Are you crazy? Be quieter. The one sound that is recognizable is your laughter. And do not mention porn again. It makes me fucking mad.”

I’m ready to say something snarky, but his lips devour mine again as his body presses me back into the mattress. I can’t help the reflexive need to tangle my fingers in his unruly sex hair, igniting a groan.

He pulls away for a second, giving me a chance to speak. “So you do fear things. I worried that you feared nothing, including my brother.”

This time he rests his chin on my chest. “I should say the same to you, Miss Sneaking-to-my-room- when-your-brother-is-down-the-hall.”

“Or how about you, with my brother fully awake in the kitchen below my room the other night?” I chide.

He grins, as if proud of the moment. “Regardless, I fear lots of things, Skye. I’m just not as verbose about them as you are.” I’m ready with a comeback to ask what he means, but halting my words, he shifts gears completely. “Come celebrate my mini-victory with us this Saturday.”

I tilt my head to the side. “Us?”

“Yeah. Me, your brother, and our friends.”

I find the mention of my brother so many times in such a short period ridiculous, and another night out on the town even more so.

  “Please come.”

“Do I have to?” I ask.

Without hesitation and with an adorable eyebrow furrow, he says childishly, “Yes.”

/>   “Are you bringing a date?”

He pauses as I watch his eyes dart over my face, as if it will give away what the right thing to say is. “Most likely.”

I gulp, but quickly reply to show my confidence with our arrangement. “Good. Me too.”

He squints. “You’re really going to bring that asshole to my celebration?”

I open my mouth to speak, but he cuts me off again. “It doesn’t matter. He has it coming anyway.”

I see the glimmer of devilish intent in his eyes, and I tense.

“What do you mean by that?”

He shakes his head, regretting the mention. “Forget I said it. I still want you there; although, I’m pretty sure I’m celebrating too soon.”

I have to take in a deep breath to level myself. There is so much I could say, so much ground I could cover, from the fact that I know his beef with Rich to why he needs me to be there. But I have to let it go, because it would get me nowhere if I tried, even if my gut is twisting painfully, making me worry I already have too much invested.

I push it all to the side to keep things normal. I don’t have a choice.

“I’m sure you did amazing at your audition. The waiting game sucks, but look how far you’ve made it. I’m sure there weren’t that many people auditioning.”

  “Ten. He auditioned ten.”

His words are no longer angry, but shaky with nerves.

I grip his strong arms. “Ten!” I whisper as loud as possible. “Blake, your odds are great. I’m sure tons of people were up for the part! I have faith in you.”

He peers up through his long lashes. “I don’t think you mean it.”

I roll my eyes. “Unlike you, I don’t say things I don’t mean.”

He sits up. “Have I ever told you what a piece of work you are?”

I watch that wolfish grin appear. I want to be mad, but it becomes difficult. “Sounds like the pot calling the kettle black, if you ask me.”

He leans his face down, dragging his nose over the bridge of mine, captivating my attention. With a promising growl, he says, “I wasn’t.” He presses his lips against mine, dipping his tongue into my mouth before pulling away. “By the way, I think I like you better this way. It suites you.”

He kisses me gently as he maneuvers his body between my legs while coaxing a breathy moan from me.
