Waiting on Tuesday

“That’s not quite what I said.” A middle-aged nurse followed her across to the two men already on their way over to them.
Dan was relieved when Tuesday went straight into his arms and he held her tight. She was still trembling slightly, but looked a lot more relaxed than earlier.
“It looks like she was hit quite hard, but it doesn’t seem to have done any real harm,” the nurse informed them. “I considered sending her down to the general for a scan just to be sure, but she’s promised she feels fine and will call the hospital if anything changes.”
Tuesday huffed, and Dan guessed she wasn’t planning on mentioning that to them.
“Oh, don’t worry on that score,” he assured the nurse. “We’ll take real good care of her.”
“That we will,” Padric agreed with a grin.
The nurse smiled and went back to her colleagues.
“Time we got you home, little one.” Dan noticed her yawning. “It’s late. Have you eaten yet?”
She shook her head, still snuggled into his chest. He chuckled.
“We’ll pick up your things on the way,” Dan told Padric. Apart from the fact that Padric obviously loved the very bones of his little sister, he was good company. He had Tuesday’s quirky sense of humor and a lot of her mannerisms. Now that the situation with Tuesday was finally resolved, he got a good look at Padric. His hair was much redder than hers and he had freckles, which made him look even younger than he was. He smiled at the thought he might be seeing more of the guy. It’d be good for Tuesday, and he wasn’t terrible to hang around with either.
After stopping at the little motel to fetch Padric’s belongings, they made their way back to Dan’s house.
“Padric can have my bed,” Tuesday announced as they entered the massive hallway.
“I have got more than one spare room.” The words were out of Dan’s mouth before he had time to think. He gaped at her when he realized what she had said. Oops. She wanted to sleep with him tonight.
She looked at him suggestively. It looked like she’d gotten her confidence back. Dan chuckled.
“I thought he could have the one down the hall,” he told her with a wicked grin.
She laughed, and he knew she’d caught his meaning—so they could make as much noise as they liked!
CHAPTER SEVENTEEN
Tuesday lay in Dan’s massive bed watching him undress. They had enjoyed a wonderful meal and had a good laugh with Padric tonight. She realized just how much she missed her brother. She had also missed Dan. Too much.
His muscles rippled across his chest and those thick arms of his as he removed his jeans. He had gone commando today and his huge cock burst out of its prison as soon as he released the zipper. She licked her lips excitedly.
“All yours, little one.” His voice was a low growl and his eyes twinkled as he walked slowly nearer to her.
“Think of a number, Master Dan,” she told him sensually.
His big blue eyes went even wider, and she knew he’d got the message. Sixty-nine.
He raised one eyebrow in surprise and she nodded. Without a word he climbed onto the bed, tucking his feet under the pillow on either side of her head, allowing his massive manhood to hang enticingly in front of her face.
She breathed in, smelling his arousal. Her tongue poked out, and she licked the salty cream from the tip, grabbing his muscular hips. He didn’t have much pubic hair, and she greedily licked her way up his shaft, around his balls, and along his perineum. He gasped and bent over her as she spread her legs invitingly for him. Her moan joined his as she felt his hot breath on her aching pussy, and his wet tongue gently tease her folds. He held his weight on his forearms, either sides of her thighs, and his long fingers caressed her skin gently.
His hot tongue probed her and she gasped at the sensation. It was warm and wet and so gentle she could scream.
“You are so beautiful,” he whispered as he lapped at her juices and buried his face in her womanhood.
His words, the feeling of his ministrations, as well as the thick, hard dick in her mouth were becoming too much. She could feel his veins beneath her tongue as he gently entered and retreated from her burning throat. She was so eager to take his juices again, to devour him, to suck out all his goodness and swallow him up. The thought of having his seed inside her body gave her an unexpected thrill, even if it wouldn’t be in her womb. That triggered another thought—what if it was in her womb? What if she could actually have this man? This man she had wanted for years? The man…she had loved for years.
Tuesday was surprised at how dizzy she felt with excitement at the very thought. Dan loved her and there was no doubt she loved him back. She wanted to be with him all the time and Lord knows how much she had missed him since last night. She must have been crazy to have left him like that!
She gasped as his thick, wet tongue swiped her clit and she screamed as the elation in her mind suddenly merged with the passion in her body, resulting in the greatest climax she had ever felt in her entire life. She bucked toward his flaming mouth, sucking hard on the massive cock between her lips which twitched excitedly before bursting into her throat. Hot cream streamed down her gullet like molten lava, and she fed on him like it was her first meal in years. His groan filled her ears and his love filled her heart. She knew for sure that this was right. This was where she wanted to be. She had found the place where she belonged at last.
Her mind whirled as the earth spun around her, lights like diamonds dancing in front of her eyes. As they slowly dissipated, she was aware of her Master shifting on the bed, lying next to her, pulling her head on to his heaving chest. She could smell him, and idly licked the beads of salt from his body as she slumped lazily into his strong arms.
“I love you, Master Dan.” It was only a whisper and she wouldn’t have been certain she had actually said it were it not for his reaction.
He lifted her head and she opened her eyes to see him staring down at her. The expression on his face was inexplicable. He looked excited, relieved, uncertain, and almost sad all at the same time. She saw love looking back at her and she smiled.
He said nothing, but took her mouth in a searing kiss which made her pussy ache all over again. His breath was hot and his lips were full and soft. His long tongue caressed the inside of her mouth as if kissing every inch of it. She could feel his warmth, his passion, his love.
When he finally released her, he took her face in his big hands, staring back into her eyes. She felt almost nervous, but at the same time so confident; confident that this was right, this was what she wanted. What she longed for.
“I love you.” His words seeped into her whole body like a warm shower on a cold day, sinking into every pore, relaxing and relieving her while filling her with luscious joy.
He held her close again, squeezing her hard against his taut body. She wanted to be inside his skin, sharing his heartbeat, being a part of him. She closed her eyes, tired, sated and deliriously happy.
Despite the arrival of her brother and the memories he brought with him, Tuesday had the most wonderful night’s sleep. Her dreams were light and cheerful. Even the ones about her past were of happy times, and she woke up thinking fondly of her family. She hadn’t realized how much she missed her mammy and her brothers and sisters. She smiled remembering that Padric, her closest brother, was just down the hall from them. He had come all this way just to find her!
She snuggled into Dan’s side and noticed that they hadn’t changed position at all since last night.
“Morning, little one.” His voice was warm and soft.
“No it isn’t. Go back to sleep,” she told him sleepily, burrowing further into his warmth.
His chuckle hummed against her cheek, and she smiled. She loved the sound and feel of his laugh.
“Do you want your breakfast in bed today?”
She opened her eyes again with a sigh. The bright sun was streaming onto the bed and she knew it was probably quite late.
“No, I
ll get up,” she conceded, knowing she would miss him the second he climbed out of bed.
He chuckled again. “We’ve got a house guest, little one. I should get the coffee on.”
She knew by his voice that he really didn’t want to move either. The thought of her brother made her smile even more though, and she slowly sat up, eager to see him again.
Dan used the large bathroom down the hall while she used the en-suite attached to the bedroom for a shower.
When she joined him in the kitchen he had already put the croissants in the oven and had a fresh, steaming mug of coffee waiting for her.
“I could get used to this, Master Dan,” she told him cheekily as she wrapped her hands around the warm cup and snuggled into his side as he fried bacon and sausages.
He chuckled, putting one arm around her.
“I would like that, little one.”
She looked up at him and was surprised that he looked slightly sad. He nuzzled her and kissed her hair, so she didn’t think he was cross with her at all.
“I’m sorry I left like that,” she told him quietly. “I needed some time to think, get my head around it all, you know?”
He smiled and nodded. “I understand. And did you manage to think?”
She nodded, taking a sip of her drink. “Oh yeah. I thought all right. I thought ‘what in hell are you doing, girl? You love the guy, and he loves you. What’s so wrong with that?’”
He grinned. “So you knew you loved me?”
She shrugged playfully. “I kinda got an inkling, you know?”
She darted away from him just as he took the rag from his shoulder and swiped her playfully on the butt with it.
She laughed, delighted that his mood had lightened.
“What did you say?” He took hold of her arms, and her heart beat a little faster. She knew he was only playing with her, but the sight of his gorgeous face, his eyes twinkling, and the feel of his hands against her skin took her breath away.
“I said ‘yes, Sir.’ I knew I loved you. I’ve always known it.” She spoke slowly, staring into his deep blue eyes.
His expression turned slightly more serious as he stared back at her and his lips enveloped hers in a lingering kiss she felt right down to her pussy.
“I think the bacon’s burning.”
They both jumped and turned to see Padric grinning at them from the doorway.
“Is there any of that coffee left?” he asked cheekily as he walked toward them.
“Um, yeah, of course.” Dan actually looked slightly flustered, which surprised Tuesday to no end. He quickly turned and lowered the gas under the frying pan and poured his guest a coffee.
Tuesday gave her brother a hug and they sat at the counter while Dan brought the food over.
“How’s your head?” Padric asked.
“Oh, just grand,” she told him with a smile. “Hey Master Dan, did they get them all behind bars?”
Dan grinned. “Yes, little one. You did well getting everyone out into the open. They were sitting targets for the cops. And I’m proud of you for getting yourself into a safe place too.”
She felt herself blush. It felt wonderful to be praised by him.
“I reckon that boss of yours will be pleased too,” Padric said with a grin as he helped himself to more bacon. “You saved the club for him, you know?”
“I’m just glad they got there in time.”
“Sounds like it was quite an intricate piece of work,” Dan told them. “It took them ages to disarm it. Good job you told us about it though. From what I heard it would have done untold damage to the whole neighborhood, not just the club if it had gone off.”
Tuesday gulped. She had assumed it would be a quick job for the bomb squad to go in, disarm it, and everyone would be back to normal within a few hours. She had no idea it had been as serious as it was.
“That’s probably the boss now,” Dan said, getting up as the phone rang.
“So what are you planning to do today?” Tuesday asked her brother.
He pouted a little. “Well now. That really depends on you, titch,” he told her.
It felt odd to be called by her nickname after all this time.
“Master Dan hasn’t told me what we’re doing yet. I doubt they’ll make him go to work today though.”
“You’re really happy with him aren’t you?” Padric smiled, stroking her hand.
Tuesday felt a warmth flood her stomach and she looked over at the gorgeous hunk speaking quietly into the phone. She felt proud that she was the one he had been with last night—the one he had fallen in love with.
“Yeah, I am. I love him, ya know?”
“Yeah, I can see that.” Padric pouted thoughtfully.
“He’s a widower,” she explained, guessing what her brother was wondering about. “He was totally in love with his wife, but she died a few years ago. I know I can never replace her, Padric, but I get the feeling Dan doesn’t want me to. He loves me for me, you know? He still loves her and always will. But it’s time he started living again. And I want to be a part of his life. He’ll always have memories of Bernice and that’s how it should be; I just want to make some new memories with him too. There’s nothing wrong with that, is there?”
Padric smiled as he shook his head. “Not at all, titch. I can see he thinks the world of you, too.”
The warmth gushed through her like a tidal wave. She had never thought of her brother as the intuitive type, and couldn’t help wondering what Dan had said to make him think that. The fact that, even after she had left him the way she did, Dan had been there for her; he had helped her, found her, and held her once it was all over. That had been enough to convince her, even if she hadn’t known already.
“I’ve been seeing a counselor.” She felt a little sheepish.
He frowned.
“There was this incident. I got locked in a small room.” She watched his eyes widen and knew he saw the implications. “I’m all right now, but I was a bit upset at the time, you know?”
Padric looked slightly relieved and continued to stroke her hand across the table.
“Caoimhe, I’m real sorry, I should have done more about our dad,” he said softly.
She was surprised at how sad he looked. She knew their daddy had thrown him out for interfering and she’d always felt bad about that. She hadn’t realized that he felt bad about not doing more.
“There was nothing you could do,” she assured him. “There was nothing anyone could do, I know that now. Our daddy had a drinking problem. He should have sorted himself out. We’re all responsible for our own actions, no one else’s.”
Padric looked impressed as well as relieved.
“So you don’t hate us all then?”
She stared at him. “No, I don’t hate anyone. I love you, Padric, you should know that.”
She was surprised when her big brother came around the counter and gave her a big hug.
“I love you too, sis,” he murmured into her ear.
She breathed him in. His familiar scent and the feel of his body next to hers comforted her. They had occasionally spoken on the phone since she moved over to the States, but this was the first time he had held her in years.
“How come you’re here?” she asked. He’d never visited her before.
“I needed to find you, to make sure you were all right. I felt pretty weird about losing the old man and I knew you would too. We’ve all been worried sick about you. It’s all anyone could talk about at the funeral. We all feel bad about what daddy did to you.” His deep baritone almost cracked a bit. “We were kind of hoping you’d come over once he was gone.”
As a thought entered her head, a massive thud landed in her stomach. She stared up at him, her heart racing, and wished she was still young enough to stick her fingers in her ears to muffle out his next words: “Caoimhe, we want you to come home.”
CHAPTER EIGHTEEN
Roland Dexter was full of praise for Tuesday, and Dan grinned proudly as he
put the phone down. She was all the old man could talk about. He reckoned she had saved the lives of just about everyone in a thirty-mile radius of the club and possibly beyond! It made Dan wonder momentarily what would have happened had she stayed with him after his declaration. If she had just accepted it—accepted him.
He looked over to see her talking quietly with her brother. It was good to see them together. She must really miss her family, despite her earlier protestations. He smiled as Padric stood up and went to give his little sister a hug. He’d gotten the gist of their conversation, something to do with their father, and thought it best to give them some space.
It was odd to see how tense his little sub had just become in the arms of her brother though, and he sensed something was wrong. He went over and almost wished he hadn’t as he heard her brother’s reason for finding her.
Dan stared at her as his heart thudded painfully against his chest. He couldn’t take a step closer. He could hardly breathe. This was his biggest fear; he was about to lose her.
She took a step back from her brother, still staring up at him.
“Our mammy needs you, Caoimhe. She needs all of us right now. She needs to know she’s got her family around her, you know?”
Padric’s words rankled in Dan’s head, and he felt like going over there and smashing the guy’s face in. But he couldn’t. He knew Padric had every right to expect his sister to go home, especially after a family bereavement. It took all his strength to stay put and wait to see how it played out. It didn’t stop him hating the guy in that instant though.
Tuesday’s big green eyes darted over to him. He wondered if she was looking for approval. She was such an excellent sub. She looked tearful, afraid almost. Her eyes were pleading with him, but Dan didn’t know how he could possibly intervene this time. This was family business and he wasn’t family…yet! The idea which fleetingly crossed his mind settled into his brain as it whirled with possibilities. They loved each other, they wanted to be together, why not be married? It was something he was comfortable with. Being married to Bernice, even if only for a few years, proved that to him.
