Baby Soldiers In Space (Purple People Book 2)

After they were wrinkled and breathless about an hour later, she wrapped her legs around his waist as they bobbed up and down in the water.
“Let’s get back to our babies,” she said.
“I love the way you say that,” he said, kissing her again. And if his voice sounded like he was cooing, well, that was just adorable, too—because every now and then, these big tough guys did.
But she laughed and finally pushed him away with a small palm to his sexy, hard chest. “Stop, or we’ll start all over again.”
He glanced down. Sure enough, his “staff” was rising to the occasion. She giggled again, remember the ridiculous term. With much laughter, they clamored from the bubbles and made their way to where they’d left their clothes on the grassy banks. They whispered sweet nothings to each other as they tried to dress, giggling as they tossed garments back and forth. Bajoc picked up her skirt.
“Is this my handkerchief?” he teased.
“Stop. My skirt wouldn’t even fit on one of your thighs,” she said. “Your muscles are just so huge.”
“You’re just in love,” Bajoc bragged, taking her skirt to prove her otherwise. “I’m sure they’re not that big.” He looped her skirt up on thigh, and sure enough, his muscular thigh filled it out.
“You can’t get it up to your hips,” she laughed. “Not even with my extra baby weight.”
“No, it fits,” he said with a grin. “Watch.”
Very carefully, so as not to rip it, he wriggled it up the other leg. The material dangerously stretched so precariously it was see-through.
“That’s obscene.” She widened her eyes to make it appear she was appalled, when all she wanted to do was burst out laughing.
Bajoc tapped his forehead. “What was that? I don’t think that word translates into our language. I’m sure you mean…sssssexy. Sexy as a snake.”
This time she did laugh. “Snakes aren’t sexy. Check your translator. Wait a minute, I didn’t even say sexy.”
“Yes, you did,” he said, prancing around.
“Don’t move too fast,” she said, clutching her midsection. “I have to wear that home. And if you rip it, I’m going nekkid.”
“Rip it? It fits perfectly fine. Look at this!”
He turned his back to her and her breath caught at the magnificent back. His shoulders were so wide, they fit his huge biceps perfectly. Yet it didn’t seem possible that his arms could even be held close to his body, the chest muscles were so large.
He looked over his shoulder at her. “Staring at my tight ass?”
“Staring at my tight skirt!”
He wiggled said tight ass, and she stared, licking at her suddenly dry lips. Until he dropped at the waist and touched his toes. The fabric stretched across the taut globes of his firm ass.
And ripe testicles hung far below that.
A scream from behind them had him jerking up and whirling around, while Marcie squealed and jumped behind him to cover her nakedness.
The Supreme Commander caught the fainting Pariah in his arms as she landed backward with her hand flung dramatically over her unibrow.
“What in the world is going on here?” Kriekjan demanded.
It was Pariah that answered. “I saw his…his…baubles. Heavens!”
“Pariah, my dear, are you all right? I know what an indelicate situation this is—“
“Indelicate, Lennard? My eyes still hold the image of those large gray sacks, dangling between twin towers of muscled thighs…”
Marcie was prying the back of her skirt gently from Bajoc’s ass. He slapped her hand away as one might smack a gnat.
“Give it,” she hissed. “I’m completely naked back here!”
“Me, too,” he whispered back. “Hands off, woman.”
“It’s my skirt.” To punctuate it, she slipped her fingers into the top of his crack and wiggled. In turn, he wiggled and squirmed and a loud rip sounded.
He clasped his hands over his groin at the last possible second before the skirt burst from his body, catching it between his hands and his sex.
“Lennard! My eyes!” It didn’t escape Marcie’s notice that while Pariah held her hands over her eyes, her fingers were spread apart.
“Pariah! My dove!” Kriekjan said, his voice panicked.
“Apologies,” Bajoc mumbled. “I guess that was Marcie’s skirt. You were right, honey.” He turned slightly to talk to her and Marcie squealed, jumping to hide fully behind him. She was pretty sure Kriekjan got a good view of her side boob.
Marcie reached underneath Bajoc’s legs to grab the skirt from underneath. He yelped as it was yanked, but he couldn’t grab it and cover his baubles at the same time.
“So huge,” Pariah whimpered to Lennard.
“Yes, sweet girl.”
Girl? Marcie would have rolled her eyes, except she was hastily tying her skirt into a knot on her hip.
“It is just that the males of our species…well, we’re all well-endowed,” he explained. “We carry a lot of sperm in those large gray baubles. And the shaft? Enormous. But rest assured. There’s no reason to fear. A real man takes care of a lady’s needs before his own. He makes sure she’s ready, and begging to take every inch of him.”
“Begging, Lennard?”
He leaned in to whisper loudly into her ear. “I hear Marcie begs for it regularly.”
Marcie was about to protest when Bajoc whirled around and slammed his mouth onto hers, stifling anything she was about to say.
“Mmmph,” was all that came from her mouth.
“Come, my delicate flower. Let me cart you away from this place.” He glared at them before he scooped up his withering orchid and carried her off.
Marcie yanked up her shirt, and tugged it over her head.
“What the hell do you think he was doing with her?” Marcie asked.
“I think he’s trying to get into her pants.”
“Why? Just why? Didn’t she just yell at him for sniffing her?”
Bajoc shrugged. “Love is blind? I do not know why she finds him attractive.”
Him?
She sighed. “It would be best if we helped them.”
Bajoc looked horrified. “But Marcie. What if they want children?”
“I’m sure Commander Kriekjan probably does. I mean, he’s enamored with ours. Your species has never been around little ones.”
“But Marcie. The two of them shall make the ugliest baby ever.” He shuddered.
She looked around quickly. “Shh, don’t say that out loud!”
He blinked. “Honestly. Think about it. It will probably be bald, but with that bun on top of its head. And a mouthful of teeth.”
She sucked in her breath. “No, really. Don’t share that with anyone else.”
He leaned down to kiss her lips.
“How do you suppose Kriekjan showed up here, anyway?”
“Oh, um, probably he was just exploring the planet and came across this spot.”
“So weird. Let’s go get our kids.”
“I believe Reese’s unibrow is loosening,” he said, as they trekked back across the terrain.
“Not at all,” she said. “I pulled on it this morning. Still holding firm.”
Chapter Eight
Marcie entered the school and headed to the younger room to take her turn. It was Lara’s day to make lunch for the little ones.
Pariah sat in the middle of the classroom with the younger children. Titi seemed particularly enamored, twisting her chubby fingers into strange shapes.
“So, Reese,” Pariah said. “What is the sign for yes?”
Her son made a few hand motions that Titi tried to mimic.
“No, that was: Yes, I’d like macaroni and cheese.”
“But I would,” he said solemnly.
“Me, too,” Titi echoed.
Pariah looked perplexed.
“Tomlak,” Marcie called with a giggle. When he approached, she smiled at him. “Honey, will you take these two to the lunchro
om and keep them there until Lara arrives with lunch for you all?”
“Yes, ma’am,” he said, Trince on his heels.
“You two are the best.”
When the children left, Marcie turned toward the woman still sitting on the chair in the carpeted area.
“Hi, Pariah,” Marcie said. “Look, I’m really sorry about yesterday. We had no idea that anyone else would be there.”
“Don’t worry about it,” she said, waving her hand like it wasn’t a big deal. “I was just stringing Lennard along. Keeping him interested, you know. Making him think he was in charge of the chase.”
“I don’t understand. He’s not in charge?”
“Not unless I say he is,” Pariah said.
Marcie shook her head to clear it. She couldn’t figure it out, sometimes Pariah wanted him, sometimes she didn’t. “What were you guys even doing there? No one on this planet even knows about the Bubbled Waterfall.”
Pariah gave a short bark of laughter. “Is that a joke?”
“What do you mean?”
She blinked, which looked incongruous with the unibrow because it moved up and down also. “My dear, do you harlots not talk at all? Raine and Chastien were there a day ago. Lara and Tristan were there the night before. I do believe your men take turns deciding who can have scheduled time at the waterfalls, and then they all pretend no one else knows of it.”
“I’m sure that isn’t correct.” Bajoc would never lie to her.
Pariah shrugged. “All I know is your secret garden is about as much of a secret as mine is.”
Marcie glared at her before stomping into the larger classroom where Raine sat. “Can you have the children play for a bit while we talk for five minutes?”
Raine nodded. “Eelia, you’re in charge.”
Marcie left her to follow as she headed down to the one of the other rooms. “Isabel, can you head out here for five minutes?”
All of the ladies met them in the hall.
“Got the rest of your coven gathered? Ask away.” Pariah snickered.
Marcie gritted her teeth. “Raine, when were you last at the Bubbled Waterfall with Chastien?”
Raine blinked. “You know about that place? I thought we were the ones to discover it.”
Pariah gave her a smirk.
Marcie gritted her teeth. “When?”
“Night before last.”
Marcie took in a deep breath. “Apparently we all know of the place. And it seems every one of the guys has assured us we are the only ones to know of the place. That it’s our own special place.”
Isabel paled. “Calian lied to me?”
“It appears we have all been lied to.”
Lara entered the building with a hot pan of macaroni and cheese covered with towels. “What’s going on?” she asked, eyes narrowed as she took in Pariah.
“The guys have been lying to us. Each of them is telling us we’re the only ones to know of the Bubbled Waterfalls, and they’ve been taking turns bringing us to it.”
Lara gasped, and her nostrils flared. “Are you kidding?”
Pariah looked down her nose. “Of course not, hussy. I happen to know you’ve been there quite a few times.”
Lara narrowed her eyes. “Well, perhaps Dear Commander Kriekjan didn’t tell you what the purpose of the Bubbled Falls was.”
“Purpose? What does that mean, purpose?” Pariah asked.
Lara smiled sweetly. “Oh, my dear. Why do you think half of us have borne little demon offspring?”
Pariah gasped. “What? Lennard was bringing me to a fertility site?”
Lara plucked an invisible piece of lint off her sleeve. “If you want to call it that.”
Pariah paled. “I’ll kill him. Let’s get real, ladies. You want us out of your hair and off your planet.”
“Not necessarily,” Marcie said. “I just don’t want your little virgins tempting my Bajoc.”
Pariah nodded. “All right. Let’s get their brows grown in, and we’ll get home where we can wreak havoc on our own men. I trust you can be sweet to my girls and keep them happy enough for the gardens to grow?”
Anita smiled, showing her teeth. “As pie.”
“Then I’m sure if you all won’t mind if I play around with Lennard in the meantime.”
“Not as long as he’s the only one.”
“Well, my girls are in the ship, making plans for this ball. Perhaps you can show them how to dress in your manner since it doesn’t seem to tempt your men,” she sneered.
“Hey,” Marcie snapped.
“No, she’s right,” Lara whispered. “Our guys apparently like that prudish-nun look.”
Oh, yeah.
“It’ll be quite the party. I’m sure it’ll make my girls so happy they’ll go home new women.”
“We’re just glad they’ll be going home,” Anita whispered.
Pariah turned on her heel and stomped off in the direction of the ship.
“Kamau doesn’t like cabbage. It makes him gassy. This is a cabbage night,” Anita announced.
“We’re back to porridge,” Lara announced.
* * * * *
Bajoc looked around, blinking at the early-morning purple mist that covered the ground. It was too soon for Marcie to be up—he could be back before she ever knew it. But, to be on the safe side, he looked side to side for any other persons.
Not a creature stirred.
Quickly, he strode to the ship, pretending he had a purpose. And he did. He was hungry, especially after last night’s dinner.
The doors closed behind him, but inside the Helian Six, there was more action than out in the early daylight.
There were eight others on the ship having breakfast.
“What the hell is going on?” Tristan muttered as he walked in.
“The females. They are denying that they’re angry. But meals aren’t what they used to be,” Kamau said, talking as he shoveled food into his mouth.
“Tell me about it,” Bajoc groaned, grabbing some food laid out in the middle of the table. He served some onto his plate, and shoved some in his mouth before sitting. “Last night, Marcie served what she called a brat and meatballs on a plate, with tomato sauce. It looked like a bloody cock.”
“See? That’s what I mean,” Kamau said. “They’re obviously still upset with us over the drone mix-up.”
“Jannie says that is not the case,” Chautles said. “When I ask her what is wrong, she says nothing.”
“Anita says if I don’t know, she’s not going to tell me,” Kamau said.
“Perhaps we’re not showing enough manners to the Quacker females,” Tristan said, hope in his voice.
“If we show them any more manners, we’ll be beating them off with a stick,” Bajoc said. “We’ve done everything Commander Kriekjan wanted. I don’t see how we can be any more polite, and we’re still not rid of them.”
“We’re not just doing this so he can get into Pariah’s pants, are we?” Chautles asked. “Because at this rate, it’s never going to happen.”
“He assures us there is a plot against them by the Herbasnuts, and that is the reason why we must keep the Quackers safe,” Tristan said. “They are being framed on their own planet. He says as soon as he can clear their reputations, they will be allowed back.”
Bajoc perked up. “They will definitely return?” That should make Marcie go back to normal. She had been uptight since the women descended from their ship.
“I am excited also,” Tristan confided. “I don’t like the way Titi is enamored with them.”
Enamored? Bajoc would have thought the little dink mocked them, but Tristan was a bit naïve where his offspring was concerned.
“Well, mine told me why she was pissed,” Chautles said. “Jannie accused me of trying to knock her up and taking turns at it with the others. When I claimed I did not know what she meant, she said all the mates knew of the Bubbled Waterfalls.”
The males gasped like sissies.
“Who told?” Pul
mar snarled. “The traitor will have the baubles ripped from his body.”
“Incoming,” Chastien said. “It’s Kriekjan.”
The Supreme Commander’s image popped up on the viewing screen. “There you all are,” he said. “I have an emergency meeting to call. I’ll be right down.”
The image blipped out, and several of the men groaned. Some began picking up the breakfast items.
Bajoc shoveled as much as he could into his mouth.
“Do you think he’s coming to whine about Pariah’s crossed legs again?” Kamau whispered.
“I hope not,” Bajoc said. He’d heard more than he needed to regarding the furry woman.
“Let’s get to the front,” Tristan barked.
Warriors crammed into the helm of the ship. They often met there, as they couldn’t meet in the Supreme Commander’s ship with the Puritans living in it. And it was safer, not to mention no one was thrilled about pretending the females were fascinating when it was clear they were repulsive instead.
Supreme Commander Kriekjan looked grim. “We’ve just gotten word that the Herbasnuts and Quakers are about to go to war.”
Tristan cocked his head. “I thought they just signed a peace treaty?”
“They did. Peace has deteriorated. It seems top secret Quaker information is somehow being leaked to the Herbasnuts.”
“How?”
“No one is sure, though I have my suspicions. The information is with the six individuals called the Mayor’s Council. Three of the males are married, three are not. Of the married three, one is the mayor himself. His wife, Millie Fagina, has access to vital info. It is possible that she has been trying to frame Pariah, I guess.”
“But why would she?” Bajoc had a hard time understanding just what the Commander was trying not to say.
The Supreme Commander looked down his nose at him. “Why wouldn’t she? Pariah is the epitome of the ultimate woman. Those curvy, alabaster thighs. She knows exactly when to hold them close, and when to open them wide. Her luscious scent makes me salivate with need. Why, if she was any closer to the perfect goddess, I’d know I died and gone to heaven.”
“We’ll need to invite the Quaker men to the ball,” Tristan interrupted. “If information is being leaked to the Herbasnuts, we need to find out who’s behind it.”
