"Christ Quinn, you're going to kill me if you keep that shit up."
"I plan on it," she said smiling as she kissed the tip of his nose.
As she tried to shimmy off of his lap, he gripped her waist, holding her in place. "Where do you think you're going?"
He lifted her t-shirt over her head, tossing it to the side, as he palmed her left breast, then pinched her nipple between his fingertips. "Ahhh," she moaned. "We can't. Not here. Boone can see."
"All the more reason for you to stay quiet, little girl." He took her nipple between his teeth and gently bit down. Quinn arched her back and moaned again.
Jaysen caught Boone glancing into the rearview mirror and Jaysen shook his head. "Boone, put up the partition, please."
Boone quickly diverted his eyes as the glass raised between them and Jaysen continued his torture on Quinn's buoyant breasts.
"Quiet," he ordered her as she attempted to stifle another moan into his shoulder.
"Jay-sen," she breathed. "I can't..."
He unbuttoned her jeans as she lifted her hips so he could slide them down her thighs, then tucked his index finger around the crotch of her panties, pushing them aside in one fluid motion. She reached inside his boxers and freed his aching cock as he dipped two fingers inside of her.
"Always so wet," he growled as he bit down on her bottom lip.
Quinn tried to keep her moans quiet, but it was impossible, Jaysen was going to bring her to orgasm at any second. "Jaysen," she breathed again as his fingers swirled inside of her, bringing her closer and closer to the edge. "Oh. Please," she begged as she pumped his length again with one hand and dug her fingernails into his chest with the other. "I'm so close, please don't stop."
Jaysen captured her cries with his mouth as she came apart around his fingers. Her chest rose and fell as she gasped for air. She removed her hand from his pants, wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling her body closer to his, then positioned him at her entrance.
"I want you inside me, now," she whispered into his neck.
He leaned back and gave her a quizzical look.
"I'm on birth control. It's okay," she reassured him.
With one quick motion, he gripped her hips and brought her down around him. "Fuck, Quinn."
She rocked against him slow at first, then sped up as he filled her and stretched her as much as her body would allow. She was still getting used to his size, especially once he was completely inside of her. Her body ached to have him there and also when he wasn't. Once again, she felt the orgasm building, but when Jaysen noticed, he slowed her.
"Not yet, sweetheart."
"But you feel so good, I can't help it," she begged him as he stilled her.
Jaysen flexed himself against her inner walls and she gasped, causing her muscles to contract around him. "Oh! Do that again." He flexed again as she bit the inside of her cheek to keep from screaming. He did the maneuver once more and she couldn't help herself, she rocked against him with so much force, it caught him off guard and his orgasm tore through him like fire, filling her with his seed.
Chapter 27
As a disheveled Quinn stepped out of the limo, she caught her first glimpse of the enormous two-story cabin nestled against the foothills. She immediately remembered the clothes she had packed and frowned as Boone handed Jaysen her suitcase. She would freeze to death for sure.
"What's wrong?" he asked, noting the look of disappointment on her face.
"Nothing," she said, shrugging as she took her bag from Jaysen then headed towards the cabin.
Jaysen handed Boone three hundred dollars cash, took his briefcase and bag from the trunk and hurried after Quinn.
It had been several months since anyone had been in his family's cabin, but he had made arrangements ahead of time to have groceries delivered as well as a cleaning service that visited the empty house once a week.
When Jaysen reached the top of the stairs, he noticed Quinn had disappeared, leaving her bag outside the front door. He dropped his bags beside hers and followed the massive wrap around deck until he found her gazing out over the tranquil lake. The sun was beginning to peak through the mountains, illuminating the valley surrounding them. Jaysen wrapped his arms around Quinn's waist and her body relaxed against his.
"This is beyond amazing, Jaysen," she said as she rested her head against his shoulder, never taking her eyes off the lake. "I can't believe this isn't a dream."
He loved the way she looked in the early morning light; the golden highlights in her hair sparkled against the rays of the sun, her blue eyes matched the color of the sky perfectly and her skin warmed under his touch. He had never seen a more beautiful woman in all his life.
"Do you want to know something?" he asked her.
She turned to face him and smiled. "Mmmhmm."
"This house was an anniversary gift to my mom."
"That's so sweet."
"Well, not as sweet as you would think. I never understood why my mom never wanted to visit this house until the first time I came here with my dad. I was fifteen and he brought me here for a fishing trip. He took a week off from work, which was unheard of for him, completely out of character, but I was young and excited that my dad actually wanted to spend time with me. Two days into our trip, we had yet to go fishing. My dad was so caught up with work that I decided to venture out on my own. I met a girl, she was eighteen and was visiting with her family from New Jersey. We would meet on the boat dock the same time everyday and after a few days, we were pretty much inseparable. But I didn't bring you here to rehash my past. How about I show you the rest of the house?"
"What was her name?" she asked curiously as he began to walk away.
Jaysen turned to her with a solemn expression on his face. "Shelly."
"Did you love her?"
"I was fifteen, Quinn. I didn't know what the hell love was back then. Shit, I don't even know if I know what it is now. Teenage hormones were a bitch. I'm sure I thought I did, but I also did a lot of thinking with my dick back then."
"I see you haven't changed much then," she teased, trying to lighten their conversation.
Jaysen cracked a smile and tucked his hand into the back pocket of her jeans.
"Do you want to go see the inside of cabin now?"
"I'd love too."
Quinn knew he was keeping something from her because of the look in his eyes when he said Shelly's name. He had tried to change the subject, but part of her needed to know what happened between Jaysen and his first love.

After a tour of the cabin, Jaysen showed Quinn to their room and retreated downstairs to build a fire and make some hot chocolate.
Though what Jaysen had told her weighed heavily on her mind, Quinn decided to do her best to shake off the feeling he was keeping more than just an old girlfriend from her and rummaged through a few drawers in the bedroom for a long sleeve shirt. The clothes belonged to Jaysen's sister and ironically enough, they were exactly Quinn's size.
It was almost noon and as Jaysen gathered firewood from stack beside the house, he caught Quinn watching him from the bedroom window and smiled, knowing her wheels were still turning after he brought up Shelly.
He stacked the firewood neatly in the fireplace and lit a match. Quinn had made herself comfortable on the sofa nearest him, but she had yet to say a word.
"Will you grab the hot chocolate from the kitchen?" he asked her and as if he'd shaken her from her thoughts, she nodded and offered him a weak smile.
Jaysen knew he shouldn't have said anything to her about Shelly, but he knew he couldn't keep secrets from her any longer, especially if he was going to pursue his relationship with her any further. She was the first woman since Shelly that actually made him feel something again, something he wasn't accustomed to, nor had he ever thought he would fall for someone like Quinn. But in all honesty, Quinn reminded him of Shelly and it made his heart swell when he finally made the comparison.
Carrying their mugs, Quinn p
added into the living room and snuggled down into the oversized leather sofa facing the fireplace. She watched as Jaysen tended to the fire and curled her toes as they met the soft fleece blanket at her feet. Her mind was racing and she didn't know whether to run away or go against everything she'd ever learned from her father and let her guard down. Could she overlook the secrets he was keeping from her? She didn't have an answer for the question that burned in her mind, rather she tried to forget everything he'd said so she could enjoy her time alone with the man first fell head over heels for back in Denver.
"Jaysen?" she asked, breaking the silence between them.
He set the fire iron to the side and took a seat next to her, tucking the blanket around her bare feet.
"What happened to Shelly?"
"I'm not sure now is the right time to discuss this with you, sweetheart."
"If not now, then when? You seem to have a lot of skeletons in your closet and so far you haven't told me about any of them," she said, trying desperately not to raise her voice in frustration.
Jaysen leaned back, ran a had through his hair and let out an audible sigh.
"Can I tell you something first?"
"Anything," she said, allowing her gaze to drift back and forth between Jaysen and the fire.
"I'm in love with you, Quinn. I've wanted to tell from the moment we got on that plane, but I wasn't sure how to, until now," he said, turning to face her.
Quinn sat silent, replaying what he had just said in her mind. She had felt it too, of course she had. But it had only been a few weeks since they'd begun seeing each other. Was it too soon to tell him that she loved him back?
"Quinn?" he asked when she failed to acknowledge him.
She remained still, staring into the blue and yellow flames hoping they'd have the answer she needed. After what seemed like hours, she turned to face him, took his hand in hers and brought it to her lips.
"I think I'm in love with you, too."
Jaysen smiled, a grin that spanned from ear to ear. She kissed his knuckles and laid her head on his chest. Although she had expressed her love for him, he wasn't sure the moment of bliss would last for long.
"I need to tell you something else," he said cautiously, kissing her hair.
"Anything."
Jaysen hesitated for a moment, unsure of what he was about to say. He wrapped his arm around her, pulling her closer as she gazed up at him with her beautiful blue eyes and smiled. Everything in his body screamed to come clean, but his heart had another plan altogether. One that didn't involve ruining their first night in the cabin together.
"Never mind. I'll tell you about it later."
Quinn was punch-drunk, holding on to Jaysen's words, but refused to let her anxiety get the best of her. She leaned forward, took both mugs from the coffee table, handed one to Jaysen and gripped the other in her hand. She clinked her mug against his and smiled. "Cheers to love."
Chapter 28
The next morning, sunshine peeked through the gap between the curtains, waking Quinn from her dreams of the tropical beach where Jaysen would take her for their honeymoon. She knew it was presumptuous of her to assume she would marry him someday, but her life had completely turned around for the better and she couldn't help but to think of spending the rest of her life with the man laying naked by her side.
"Morning, beautiful," he said softly, tracing her bare skin with his fingertips, then kissing her shoulder.
"Morning."
She snuggled against his chest and with her fingertips, she began to explore his stomach, following the light trail of hair until she met his erection. He groaned as she grasped it lightly in her fist and pumped him until she could feel the veins straining against her palm.
"I want you," she breathed against him.
In one fluid motion, he tucked his hand under her backside and flipped her onto her stomach. She giggled as her nipples met the cool air and puckered when he pulled her back against him. She arched her back as he pinched her nipples, then cupped her sex with his palm.
He bent her over at the waist and Quinn gripped the edges of the pillows as he slid his aching cock inside her. She gasped as he filled her and he groaned as she rolled her hips against him.
He had never felt a connection to anyone like the connection he felt when he was with Quinn.
As he gripped her hips and pulled her against him harder, she cried out, begging him to fuck her harder. Jaysen loved watching her come, so he pulled out of her, flipped her onto her back, tucking a pillow under her hips to elevate her pelvis, then drove into her again.
"Holy fuck!" she cried, panting and gasping for air.
"Open your eyes, sweetheart. I want to watch you come for me," he commanded.
Just as Quinn's eyes fluttered open, Jaysen rocked against her, bringing her to climax. Quinn struggled to keep her eyes open as she felt the orgasm wash over her, but in that moment, she met his gaze and never once looked away. It was the most intense orgasm she had ever felt, she swore she saw fireworks as her entire body shuttered in ecstasy.

After three glorious days of hiking, skiing, dancing the nights away and mind-blowing sex, Jaysen wanted to make their last night together in Jackson Hole unforgettable.
As Quinn looked herself over in the floor length mirror, she smiled, knowing Jaysen would love the dress she picked out. She found it unusual that all of his sister's clothes fit her perfectly, but didn't protest, since most of the things she'd borrowed over the past few days were made by high-end designers. In Quinn's mind, they were clothes fit for royalty or celebrities, not a plain Jane like herself.
"Are you ready?" he asked peeking through the cracked bedroom door.
"Almost. You haven't told me where we're going yet. How the hell am I supposed to know if I'm dressed accordingly?"
"Are you dressed?"
"Yes," she replied.
Jaysen pushed the door open and his jaw fell as soon as he caught a glimpse of Quinn. He hadn't told her he stocked the entire closet before they came to Jackson Hole, instead he told Quinn they were his sister's clothes. The dress Quinn was wearing was his favorite. He hand picked it from a boutique in New York and had it sent along with lingerie and designer shoes.
Quinn turned on her heel to face him, causing the skirt to flair at her knees.
"You likes?"
Her hair was pinned delicately at her neck and loose curls framed her face. In Jaysen's eyes, she looked like an angel.
"I don't just like, I love. You look ravishing."
"Aww, you're just being nice," she teased as she adjusted the clasps on her shoes.
Jaysen leaned against the doorframe admiring her perfect body and the way the dress clung to her natural curves.
"Quit staring," she said, snapping him out of his fantasy as she grabbed her clutch and shimmied past him.
She was toying with him, taking the opportunity to sway her hips and do her version of a sexy strut down the hallway as he followed.
"I don't know if I like the idea of any other men seeing you dressed like this," he called after her as she ascended the staircase into the foyer.
"Well, it was your idea to go out, so you're just gonna have to deal with it."
He caught up to her on the landing, wrapped his hands around her waist and pulled her into him.
"You're enjoying my suffering aren't you?"
She turned around to face him with an innocent look on her face. "What? Lil' ole me? Making you, Mr. Strong-and-handsome suffer? Never," she said in her best Scarlett O'Hara impression.
Jaysen smiled, leaning down to kiss her, but she brought her finger to his lips. "You wouldn't want to smear my lipstick, now would you?"
He laughed and kissed her forehead instead. "Come on. Lets go."

As the limousine pulled to the curb outside the Four Seasons, Quinn leaned over and whispered in Jaysen's ear, "Well, well, Mr. Fancy pants, what's the occasion?"
Before Jaysen could a
nswer her, Boone opened the passenger door and held his hand out for Quinn.
Jaysen and Quinn walked hand in hand through the magnificent hotel and although there weren't many guests out roaming the halls, there were a hand full of noisy skiers sitting in the lounge. As they passed them, Jaysen's grip on Quinn's hand tightened. A group of older gentleman sat, sipping their scotch, near the large fireplace. Jaysen's skin grew pale as he recognized the men instantly and his unease didn't go unnoticed by Quinn.
"What's wrong?" she whispered as he quickened his pace.
"Nothing, sweetheart. Just thought I saw an old colleague."
"Oh. We can go say 'hi' if you'd like."
"I wouldn't want to ruin our last night together by talking business. Come on."
Jaysen quickly led Quinn through the hotel and stopped outside the restaurant. A dark haired gentleman in a suit greeted them at the podium. Once inside, the mouth-watering scent of a wood-fired grill filled the air and Quinn's stomach suddenly jumped to life.
"Smells amazing," she said as they followed the maître 'd to their table overlooking the ski slopes, just as the sun began to set.
Jaysen ordered champagne and an appetizer while Quinn couldn't help but to notice the rest of the dining room was empty. She chalked it up to being a slow night at the resort and took another sip of champagne. Quinn knew Jaysen had something weighing heavily on his mind since he hadn't said a word since they sat down.
"What's on your mind?" she asked.
He blinked a few times, snapping himself out of his wagering thoughts.
"Nothing, sweetheart."
Quinn reached across the table and squeezed his hand. "Seriously, what's going on with you? You've been quiet ever since we got here."
He let out the breath he'd been holding and leaned towards her.
"I'm afraid I'll spoil our last night here and the amazing time we've spent together the last few days..."
"Then don't," she interrupted.
"It's not that easy, Quinn. I have something I need to tell you and if I don't it'll eat me alive."
