Saxon

It drives her fucking crazy.
My fingers leave her breasts and move lower, finding her clit. Three circles with my thumb, and she’s coming, my name leaving her mouth the sweetest sound in the world. I continue to slide in and out of her, her wetness drenching my cock. Changing positions, I sit down and pull her with me, so she’s sitting on my lap. Leaning her forward, I keep thrusting into her until I finish.
“Fuck,” I grit out, my head spinning as release hits me. “Fuck, fuck, fuck.”
She leans back against me.
“Holy mother of crap,” she breathes. “That was amazing.”
I grunt and tilt her head up with my finger on her chin. “I love you so fucking much.”
She open her mouth to reply, but I kiss her, cutting off anything she has to say.
“Let’s get cleaned up,” I whisper.
She nods and stands up, turning around and leaning over me. “I love you too.”
All is right in the world.
Chapter Twenty-Five
Tenielle
I’m feeling grumpy as hell today. Time has flown by, and now it’s time for me to get back to Perth.
Back to work.
And away from Saxon
Shit happens, and I really shouldn’t be complaining. I have a good life. A friend once told me that if your only problems are boy problems, then you don’t really have any problems at all. Okay I was fifteen when she said that, but it kind of stuck with me. I need to put my big girl panties on and deal with being away for him for the next... few months.
Fuck my life.
I finish packing my bag and plop down on the bed. My flight leaves tonight, so I have a couple of hours left with Saxon. He’s been moody for the last few days, brooding. Always lost in thought. I know he’s going to miss the shit out of me, well, because I’m pretty awesome, but it’s more than that. We’ve gotten used to being around each other every day and spending all our time together. We’re in sync. And now we’re going to have to adjust again—this time to a long distance relationship. Saxon said if he ever gets a break longer than two days he will fly to see me. Considering the amount of time it takes to fly back to Perth, it really doesn’t make sense for him to do so, but I won’t stop him.
Because I’m greedy for him.
Even if I just get to see him for a day, or a few days, I’ll take that.
And I’ll love every second of it.
The door opens and he walks into the room holding a bag of food.
He doesn’t smile.
He doesn’t joke.
He does sigh.
“It’s going to be okay Saxon,” I tell him, not for the first time. “Three months with fly by.”
“What am I going to do with my life?” he asks with a groan.
How fucking dramatic.
I burst out laughing, which causes his lip to twitch slightly. Not a smile—but something at least.
“Come on, let’s eat. I’m starving.”
He quickly stands and holds out his hand for me. I put my hand in his and he grabs the food. We walk into the kitchen and sit down at the table there. “Where is everyone?”
He places the plastic container in front of me, filled with the pasta I ordered.
“They went to do some sightseeing, but I think they just wanted to give us some privacy,” he replies, not even pulling out his own food, just watching me.
“That’s nice of them,” I say, taking a bite, chewing, and swallowing.
“How is it?” he asks.
“Good,” I say. “Do you want a bite?”
He shakes his head. “Do you really have to go back?”
I put my fork down. “Saxon.”
“I know, I know,” he grumbles, but then looks at me with a hopeful expression. “You know if you didn’t want to go back, I would pay for everything for you—”
“Don’t even go there,” I grit out, my tone letting him know he’s heading into dangerous waters.
He sighs heavily. “I know you love your job but if it’s about money—”
“I can’t lose my job Saxon, I’m sorry. And I’m not going to be a kept woman. I need to work. It challenges me, and I get to help people. It’s who I am. It’s who I’ve worked so hard to become.”
He puts his hands in the air. “You’re right, I’m being selfish. I’m just gonna miss you so fucking much, and it’s making me crazy.”
“I’m going to miss you too, so let’s not waste my last few hours arguing over this. Let’s eat, fuck, and snuggle before we head to the airport, not necessarily in that order.”
He smiles slowly. “I got you some jam donuts for dessert.”
My head snaps to him, a grin playing on my mouth. “You seriously know the way to my heart Saxon Tate.”
He laughs. “I’ll buy you a fucking bakery Tee.”
I smirk. Fuck he’s sweet. Such a sweet man wrapped in this delicious package, complete with piercings, tattoos, and a huge cock.
Jackpot.
“You’re so getting some A-grade head for that one.”
He stands and picks me up, lifting me over his shoulder.
Then he takes me back to the bedroom, and I for one am fucking glad.
Because food can wait, but I cannot.
*****
The drive to the airport is quiet, but we hold hands the entire time. Saxon walks me through, going as far as he’s able to. A few fans stop him and ask him for his signature but he says sorry that he can’t right now, but if they wait he will sign anything for them on his way out. We stop at the point where I need to walk through security and just stare at each other for a moment.
“Call me as soon as you get there safely,” he says. “Okay?”
I nod. “Okay, I love you.”
I get on my tiptoes and kiss his mouth, savoring the moment.
Remembering it.
Keeping it locked in my memory.
I pull away first. “I have to go.”
He leans his forehead against mine. “I fucking adore you.”
“I know.”
A small smile. “You better. And be good, okay?”
I raise my eyebrow at that. “I should be the one telling you that.”
He cups my face in his warm hands. “Take care of yourself. If you ever need me, call me. I’ll come back to you, fuck the tour.”
I roll my eyes. “I’ll be fine Saxon, and so will you.”
One more kiss, and I walk away without looking back.
If I looked back, I probably would have stayed.
Chapter Twenty-Six
Saxon
One month later
As we walk back onto the bus, I feel fucking sick of life knowing that she isn’t back on there waiting for me. The last few weeks have dragged by.
Dragged the fuck by.
We both call each other every chance we get, but with her work, my work, and the time difference, it gets a little difficult. It’s fucking painful if I don’t get to talk to her at least once a day. We always message each other when we wake up and before we go to bed, without fail, so that’s something at least. She also likes to send me a few sexy pictures of her every now and again—which I love.
I come to a standstill when I see a woman standing in front of the bus door.
“Is that?”
Kidd groans. “Holy shit, she’s a stalker.”
“Call security,” I mutter.
Kidd nods and walks back as I approach the woman who I saw in Sydney and in Boston. She’s now in Louisville, Kentucky.
And standing in front of my bus.
With a smile on her face.
She waves at me as I approach. Christ, what is wrong with this chick?
“You can’t be here,” I tell her, frowning. “How did you get back here?”
She doesn’t say anything, but what she does do, is throw herself on me and try to kiss me. I move my face and her mouth touches my cheek, before she’s pushed off me. Ryder grabs her and pulls her back.
It’s then I see another girl standing next to the bus, camera phone in her hand.
Fucking shit.
Security comes and escorts them both out.
“Fucking crazies,” Ryder mutters, shaking his head in astonishment. “I think you were about to get raped.”
I slap him on the back of the head.
Later that night, I call Tee to tell her what had happened. Her phone rings but goes to voicemail.
“Hey babe, it’s me. Some drama happened today, and I wanted to tell you before you see it somewhere else. Call me when you finish work, love you.”
I hang up and sigh, staring down at the phone in my hand.
It sucks being away from her—but she’s worth it.
The moment I get her back it will be worth everything.
*****
A week later, Ryder walks over to me with a solemn look on his face.
“What happened,” I ask, standing up from the chair I was sitting on.
“Fuck Sax,” he grits out. “You aren’t going to believe this shit.”
The hair on the back of my neck stands up. “Is Tee okay?”
Ryder sighs and places a magazine on the table.
A trashy gossip magazine.
He opens it and stops on a page. The title reads ‘My life as Saxon Tate’s mistress.’ The picture of the woman, Eliza, when she jumped on me is right there. Her arms are all over me, her legs around my waist. Her hair is covering our faces and our expressions.
It looks fucking bad.
There’s also the picture of us together in front of the Sydney hotel.
Really bad.
I skim through the article about how apparently I’ve been sleeping with this bitch for some time. I stop after I read that. I can’t read anymore bullshit or lies.
Like I would ever touch a woman like that.
“You told Tee about what happened though right, so who cares what anyone else thinks,” Ryder adds.
Yeah, about that.
Fuck.
“I went to tell her but she didn’t call me back until the next day and then I forgot,” I tell him, wincing.
He cringes. “Doesn’t matter, I’ll tell her. I was there and know what happened.”
I throw him a curious look. “You think you have that much pull with your cousin? To pull me out of this bullshit?”
“We all know the truth Saxon. Everyone here does, including Lexi.”
This is true, I just hope she will listen to what I have to say. “The evidence is pretty damning.”
“Saxon—”
“You know this is the reason she didn’t want to give me a chance initially. One because I was with Lexi first and two because I cheated, so I gave my all to get her to trust me. And now because of some unstable, lying bitch those thoughts are going to be running through her head, making her second-guess all her choices about me.”
“Fuck—you really do know her,” Ryder says, looking surprised. “She might second-guess, but I think that she will know deep down that you wouldn’t do this to her. She was there that night in Boston, I’m sure she will realize that chick is clearly an obsessed nutcase.”
I bury my face in my hands. “I thought the lead singer was meant to attract all the crazies.”
He slaps his hand down on my back and chuckles. “Apparently they like the bad boy drummers even more.”
I grab my phone and scroll through my recent call history, clicking on her number.
No answer.
“Maybe she hasn’t even seen it,” he says, shrugging.
“Yeah right,” I grumble, standing up and walking into the room Tee and I stayed in when she was here, punching the door on the way in.
This is it—the test of trust in our relationship. Except there’s more to it. There’s fucking evidence for the world to see, and it doesn’t matter that it’s all bullshit. I can just imagine the comments she will get about it. I didn’t want to put her through anything like this, but I know problems like these can come with fame. I guess I never expected it to affect Tee like this, which is kind of naïve of me. I decide that if I can’t get in contact with her by tomorrow, I’m flying my ass home.
Fuck the concert.
I’m sorry to my fans but this is more important to me right now.
There will be other shows, other tours.
Other opportunities.
But there is no other Tenielle.
Chapter Twenty Seven
Tenielle
I don’t know why Taryn has the smuggest face I’ve ever seen when I walk into work, but a bad feeling creeps up my spine. I ignore her and walk straight to my office, my heels clicking against the marble floor with each step. My boss walks in and we chat briefly about the case I need to research for today, then he leaves and I pull out some candy from my drawer and munch on it. Today is Layla’s birthday, and I just dropped off the little husky puppy to her on the way to work. I was kind of reluctant because over the last two days I’d actually grown attached to the little monster. She named him Kovu and fell in love at first sight, and I’m happy she was happy.
A knock on my door makes me scowl in its direction.
“Come in,” I call out.
Taryn walks in. “Just thought you might want to see this.”
Her sparkling eyes let me know whatever it is isn’t good. She puts a magazine down on the table, opened to the page. My eyes skim the headline, and then see the picture of Saxton with this stupid bitch in his arms.
I remember the woman, of course.
I look back at the picture. She’s standing in front of the bus, and her arms are wrapped around his neck. I can’t see his face—or hers for that matter because her hair is covering it like a curtain.
What the fuck.
I’d say I couldn’t believe this except for the picture staring right at me.
Taryn mock sighs. “Such a shame for you.”
I snap my head to her. “Get the fuck out of my office if you want to keep your job.”
She sneers, “You don’t have that power.”
I smirk at her, trying to contain my fury, hurt, and pain. “If I let everyone know you’re fucking Fred then yes, I do have that power.”
Her face pales, and then she leaves quietly.
Wow.
I’d only guessed she was sleeping with my co-worker.
At the click of my door, I cover my face with my hands. Then, because I like to torture myself, I read the entire article. From start to finish. I know most of it is bullshit, but that fucking picture…
What if Saxon was lonely one night and caved for some easy pussy?
The thought makes my throat burn.
Then I feel pissed right off.
And worst of all—I had to hear it from that smug bitch Taryn.
I search through my handbag for my phone and check over my missed calls and messages.
Twelve from Saxon.
Two from Ryder.
Three from Lexi.
One from Jet.
Five from Kidd.
I lean back in my chair, my mind racing.
I don’t know what to think right now. I don’t want to throw his past in his face but… he has cheated to see if the grass is greener on the other side before. Maybe he had a weak moment? Maybe he didn’t sleep with her and it was just the kiss I saw in the photo?
Maybe.
Maybe.
Maybe.
I need to talk to him, but I’m angry.
No—I’m fucking hurt and in a destructive mood. I have a bad temper and who knows what will come out of my mouth. I settle on a message.
Me: I will talk to you later.
There.
My phone beeps instantly.
Saxon- Let me explain, please.
Famous words.
I put my phone back in my bag and pretend nothing happened. Pretend I never saw that stupid fucking photo and that my heart isn’t breaking from my insecurity and the threat of broken promises.
What if he did?
>
What if he didn’t?
I grit my teeth and bite down on another piece of candy.
*****
After turning my phone off, I feel a little better. I get through my days’ work and then drive straight to Knox’s Tavern.
I totally deserve a drink.
I haven’t been here in quite a while and smile when I take a seat in front of Reid Knox himself.
“Where the fuck have you been?” he asks, eye brows rising at my presence.
I purse my lips together. “You need to work on your customer service.”
He smirks at that. “What can I get you?”
Decisions, decisions.
“Beer please,” I reply after a second. As Reid goes to get me my beer I look around the bar, which is practically empty. “Where is everyone?”
“It’s still early,” Reid replies. “It’s only six.”
Oh yeah.
“Where’s Anna? I quite liked her,” I tell him, grinning.
Reid chuckles. “I don’t think Anna needs anymore trouble in the form of a hot lawyer.”
I wink at him. “You think I’m hot?”
Reid laughs. “Please don’t wink again, you look like you’re having a fit or something.”
I roll my eyes and take a sip of my ice cold beer.
Perfect.
“I really needed this,” I sigh, looking down at my French manicure. “Day from hell is an understatement.”
“What happened? Your client admit he was guilty, and you have to defend him anyway?”
I shake my head. “No. My nemesis showed me a magazine with a picture of Saxon with another woman, and she’s claiming she is his mistress.”
Reid looks thoughtful for a second. “I assume shit like this happens all the time in the industry. Have you talked to Saxon to hear his side?”
Another mouthful of beer. “No. I’m trying to calm myself a little before we talk. Do you remember what happened last time I lost my temper?”
Reid scowls. “Of course I do, I had to buy four new bar stools.”
I laugh. “Hey! I reimbursed you for them.”
Reid walks around the bar and takes a seat next to me, his finger touching the scar on his face.
I happen to think that scar is sexy and gives him character. I know Summer, his woman, does as well.
