Alphas' Embrace Page 23

Sam motioned Gage to follow him. The council would deal with Collin. No matter his judgment, they’d both gotten their pound of flesh off the bastard.

Gage closed the heavy steel door. “What’s up?”

“Get with Dylan. See if we can find this FBI agent Mortef ordered the hit on. He knows too much about us. We all suspected that Mortef was just a tool and the Vampire Council was the ones pulling the strings.”

“Do you want me to order Dylan to assassinate the agent?” Gage’s eyes were wide with shock, which Sam understood. Dylan’s primary job was to protect the packs, by any means necessary. Sometimes that was wiping memories clean, and other times it meant he needed to kill. In a nutshell, he eliminated threats. “No, I want him found. Get with Devon, and let him know that there was an undercover fed with The Brotherhood and tell him about the order by the Vampire Council. Perhaps he can spare one of his nest to help Dylan.”

Gage walked out and pulled out his phone to call Dylan. This would be a delicate matter to erase the information from the fed, yet preserve his memory for his other cases. Dylan and a Vampire good with human minds should be able to get the job done.

  Chapter Twenty

Gage held Rylee’s hand while they walked through the selection of bedding for her new room. She’d chosen the one two doors down from their bedroom, and now they just had to wait for the furniture Rylee picked out to arrive. Her white pedestal bed with a bookcase headboard arrived this morning, and now she needed bedding. Gage would only allow the finest linens to touch Rylee, which usually meant princess or flowers.

“The flower one.” She pointed at the bed set that had huge pastel purple and pink flowers on it.

“Then that is the one we will get.”

She was speaking in full sentences again, and her episodes of shyness were growing farther and farther apart. Avery was taking her to a play group, and Rylee was catching up fast with the other younglings her age. Supernatural children developed the same as human and didn’t start to see any changes until after puberty.

“Let’s get home and decorate that new bed of yours. I think it’s all painted.”

Rylee nodded easily, falling back and forth between talking and staying silent. Johan and Encar had both said as long as she made steady progress and didn’t lose any ground, don’t push her too much. Her brain was still dealing with the trauma that damaged it and the healing. That would take time, and her language skills were coming back.

Gage headed back and hoped Sam and Avery appreciated the time he was giving them, because he was next.

  * * * *

Avery stroked Sam’s hair as he held her hips and lapped at her pussy. Sam had restrained her into a sex swing they’d ordered. Eventually, they would build a soundproof room in their basement for their dungeon, but for now, a few items in their bedroom were the scope of their playroom.

The straps of the swing held her legs wide open, and Sam had tied her hands over her head. The nipple clamps added to her need to come as his tongue lapped at her pussy. She came again, and her cries filled their bedroom. “Sam.”

“My mate.” He lowered the swing until his cock lined up with her pussy, and then in one hard thrust, he filled her hot cunt. He gripped the swing and pounded her onto his cock while her clamped nipples rubbed against his chest. “Eyes on me as I take you.”

Avery met his gaze and opened her mouth as her muscles tightened as her orgasm built. She came again as Sam groaned, bit into her skin, and his cock pumped his seed into her. Her pussy clenched around his cock as she came.

Sam picked her up and walked them into the shower. He took one of the clamps off and sucked her nipple into his mouth. He laved away any pain as the blood flow returned and then repeated the same with her other nipple. She kissed him as they stepped into the steaming water. When they got out, Gage and Rylee were home.

“I have a gift for you.” Sam kissed her gently. “A sort of a wedding present.”

  “What?”

Sam helped her to get dressed and then led her down the stairs and out the front door. There was a huge bow over her house. She blinked at the bow and up at Sam and Gage who were smiling at her.

  “I don’t understand.”

“My guys started work on it last night. They’re gutting it. You get to redesign it, and then it’s yours to do with what you please.”

Her eyes lit up. All the things she’d wanted to do to that house, but she didn’t have the money. “Really?”

Gage nodded with a grin on his face.

“Oh, thank you!” While she wasn’t sure what she’d do with the house once she’d restored it, she would love every second of breathing life into her second chance.

Evelyn pulled into the driveway just then and walked up to them. “I thought it would be nice to take Rylee to the park. Maybe you three could give me another grandchild or something.”

Sam coughed and Gage laughed while Avery shook her head. She wasn’t about to tell her mother-in-law that she was on birth control, a lot of it. She loved babies, but she needed some time before she added another child. Rylee needed just them, as well.

“I was kidding.” Evelyn laughed. “A little.”

Sam shook his head. “One day, Mother. Don’t worry.”

She left, and Sam and Gage led Avery into the house. “We have some new dungeon furniture to try out.” Gage’s eyes were full of desire as he stripped off her bathrobe and pulled the sash free. “Hands.”

She put her hands in front of her, and he tied them over her head. As Gage wrapped her hands in the soft silk, Sam pressed in behind her, trapping her between them. Gage pinched her nipples, and she winced at the first shot of pain until warmth flooded her pussy.

She heard clothing rustle, and then Sam’s hot skin pressed against her. She could feel his erection, and she couldn’t help but move against him.

A stinging swat landed on her ass. “I didn’t tell you that you could move.” Sam’s voice was gravely, but Avery heard the lust clear in his tone. She was driving him past his control, and Mr. Dominant didn’t like his little wife to play those games.

She laid her head back against Sam’s chest, his hands slid up her sides, and he placed sensual kisses along her neck.

Then, Gage and Sam led her to the basement of the house. Gage pulled a key down from the trim over a white-painted door and unlocked a dead bolt.

“It’s not quite done yet, but we never know when Mom will be around. We’ll take advantage of the time now.”

She glanced around, and they’d already put in a spanking bench and St. Andrew’s cross. She noticed an expensive-looking sound system as well as a massive LED wall-mounted television.

“For when we have training classes. There is no club here like Owen’s, but Lycan males are a dominant bunch. Sam and I want to mentor new couples and be able to link into Owen’s training classes in Tennessee.”

“That sounds like fun.” She imagined the couples coming, and maybe she’d make even more friends. To be able to speak openly about her desires was something she never thought she would experience. “I can’t wait.”

Sam checked the silk around her wrists, and then he placed leather restraints over them. He lifted her arms over her head until she was just barely able to stand flat on her feet. Sam used his legs to widen her stance, and then his fingers stroked through her wet slit. “Nice and wet for us.”

He paused, and his gaze moved over her body as if to access for himself that she was comfortable. “We also felt that having classes here would help you get to know other wives of Lycans. You’ll find most of them enjoy many of the same things you do. Two of the wives also had children before meeting their fated mates. They’ve been adopted into the pack the same as Rylee has.”

  “Rylee’s been adopted?”

Sam nodded and placed his hand over his heart. “When we bonded, your similar DNA also started a bond to Rylee. Mine and Gage’s hearts are bonded to Rylee’s just as if we’d fathered her ourselves. She is just a
s much a Lycan now as any other youngling born to Lycan parents.”

“But she can’t do the things you can do.” Like turn into huge wolves.

Gage leaned in. “It doesn’t matter. A lot of Lycan females can’t shift. It’s a trait passed down mostly to males. Rylee will fit in perfectly with the pack.”

Avery closed her eyes for a moment. A fear she didn’t even realize she’d held in her heart evaporated. Rylee wouldn’t be an outsider. She wouldn’t be the human little girl outcast teased because she was different. “Thank you for telling me this.”

Sam pushed a well-lubed small butt plug against her ass. “Relax. I want to stretch you a little before we begin.”

She did as he asked and breathed through the discomfort of the plug stretching the tight muscles of her anus.

“Perfect,” Sam said, and then he clicked something.

Vibrations sent a buzz of pleasure coursing through her, and she moaned at the unexpected pleasure.

Gage moved his hand to her cunt and captured her creamy arousal from her hole and moved it around her clit, all while watching her face.

She moaned at the pleasure and then gasped when a snap of leather followed by a sting on her thigh mixed with her arousal. She jumped and squealed before the fire turned to pleasure. With every lash of the flogger, Gage thrust a thick digit into her pussy and his thumb stroked over her clit.

Together they set up a perfect rhythm as Sam slapped her ass and Gage thrust a finger into her. The sensations all blended together so even the pain of the flogger only amplified the pleasure from Gage’s fingers and the vibrating butt plug in her ass.

She raised her head to the ceiling and let out a cry of pleasure as she came. Sam pulled the plug out of her ass while Gage lifted her legs. “Keep your legs around me.” He spread the globes of her ass, and Sam applied cold lube to her back entrance.

“Your safe word is still the same.” Sam pushed his cock into her stretched back hole while she threw her head back. He was so big, and it was easy to forget until he was entering her ass. “Relax, baby.” Sam pulled out and thrust back in with small strokes until he was fully seated in her ass.

Gage held her in his arms and stared into her eyes until the ache in her back entrance was finally pleasurable again.

“Are you ready now?” Gage stroked his cock through her wet slit.

  “Yes.”

Gage took her mouth with his, and she moaned as his tongue stroked hers. He tightened his grip, and then he pulled her onto his cock. His mouth swallowed her cries as his cock head stroked over her G-spot and sent shards of pleasure through her body.

They moved in a perfect rhythm, jarring her body as they brought her closer to rapturous pleasure. Her orgasm coiled within her womb, making every muscle tense. Her legs shook as she held on, and Gage and Sam’s pelvises slapped against her flesh. She couldn’t hold back her cries if she wanted to and wailed as she started to come. Each stroke of their cocks sent off fresh waves of bliss until she couldn’t see straight.

In the blinding pleasure that made her cry out, she heard Sam and Gage groan, and they stiffened. She could barely hold on as they stood there in each other’s embrace. She rested her head against Sam until he finally pulled her free from the sex swing.

A few hours later, Evelyn and Rylee returned with ice cream and toys from a local store. Avery rested against Sam on the massive leather couch as Rylee pulled toys out. “Look what Grandma got me, Mama.”

“I see, baby girl. Very nice. Did you say thank you?”

She nodded with Evelyn. “Yes, she is a very good girl.” Evelyn stroked her hair. “I need to get going. Alred says he is taking me out to Ft. Worth tonight.”

Gage came in wiping his hands on a dishtowel. “Wow, Dad is taking you on a date?”

“Yes, and we’ve been seeing someone Johan recommended we talk with.” Her smile was small, but full of hope.

“That’s wonderful, Mom.” They stood up and hugged her. “Go. Don’t make Dad wait on you.”

  Chapter Twenty-One

Four months later, Brandy, Evelyn, and Avery hung up the decorations while Gage shredded the cheese for the pizza. Rylee’s fifth birthday wasn’t until next week, but today was a far better day to have her party. Several of his pack members had younglings close to Rylee’s age, and she’d blossomed since her procedure and therapy.

Alred still had her and a few other younglings at the park while everyone else worked to get the house ready before the other families arrived. Just as several cars showed up, including Alred’s, they got the last decoration up.

Rylee ran in first and stopped with her mouth gaping open. She spun around and then laughed. “It’s my birthday party!”

“It is, baby girl.” Avery gave her a hug. “Go and hug Grandma, and then go find your friends out back.”

Rylee ran into Evelyn’s arms and kissed her. “I missed you, Grandma.”

“I know. Grandpa and I will be around more now that our vacation is over.”

Avery and Gage exchanged happy smiles that they were working things out. They had a long road to go, but they weren’t both living in their own misery anymore.

“Let’s go out back so the kids can play,” Avery suggested, and the adults picked up their drinks and followed her out to through the back door. As she sat around visiting with other wives, she wondered how she’d kept sane all by herself before she moved to Shadetree. While she always felt welcome, the town was completely different now that she was a Lycan mate. She was a part of a huge family, and she would never be alone again.

They eventually sang “Happy Birthday” and Sam brought out a huge Victorian dollhouse with lights and all the furniture she’d need for her play dolls. He’d built it for Rylee. She screamed as she saw the house she’d wanted more than anything for a year sitting in front of her with a bow on it.

“Thank you, Daddy! This is the best birthday ever!” She kissed Sam and then Gage while Avery took pictures. This wasn’t some plastic piece of junk that would break with normal play, but a hand-built dollhouse that Sam and Gage had poured their hearts into for their little girl.

She looked around as people visited and ate, and several other little girls helped Rylee unwrap her other presents. The sun had set and the stars came out one by one. Avery glanced up into the bright starlight, and a memory struck her of the night she asked fate if it would fix her baby. A breeze blew, carrying the sound of Rylee’s laughter as she talked about how hard her daddies worked on the house.

“Thank you,” she whispered to the stars and turned to celebrate her baby’s fifth birthday with her mates.

After the guests all left, leaving only Brandy and their parents while Rylee played with her dolls in the family room, they sipped drinks and made small talk.

Sam glanced over at Rylee with a smile, and then he cleared his throat. His face turned harsh. “The Supernatural Council has decided the Collin broke Supernatural law, not only with the attack on Marcus’s pack, but when he harmed Rylee.”

Brandy’s eyebrows went up nearly into her hairline. “Really? Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad, but Avery and Rylee weren’t claimed by you and Gage yet.”

Avery stared at Brandy. “What does that mean?”

“Rylee is a youngling…a child. Supernaturals take harming a youngling very seriously. There’s no chance they’ll just alter his memory and let him go now.”

Avery also glanced over at Rylee. Would they try to make her recount what happened? She feared they would lose ground they’d made and wondered if it was worth it. The council had already assured them he would never walk free, even if they stuffed him in an Eastern European prison to live out the last of his short life. “Why? How can they decide he broke Supernatural law when I didn’t even know you then, and neither did Rylee?”

Sam glanced at Avery and then at Rylee. “Remember when I told you I was going to have a healer analyze your blood because you enjoyed drinking mine so much?”

  She thought back
through everything that had happened since she’d met Sam and shrugged. “Vaguely. I thought you were joking.”

He shook his head no. “I wasn’t. I’ve spoken to Marcus and several of his pack members that have mated humans, as well as Devon and Kieran. None of their mates like to bite like you do, so Chiron ran your blood. You have just enough Vampire DNA in your blood for the Council to consider you Supernatural.” He shrugged. “It’s a technicality since you are mostly human and only have enough Vampire DNA to make you like your mate’s blood, but it’s enough for them. They tested Rylee’s, as well, and she too has traces of Vampire DNA that match yours.”

“Wow. So, what does that mean?” Avery was stunned. She’d expected they’d just erase his mind and dump him somewhere.

“Well, if he would not have tried to harm Rylee, they would have just erased his mind and tried to alter his personality to make him more of a community servant, and then made him serve in St Louis. He used Rylee as a human shield though. He left her to face not only coyotes, knowing full well how deadly they were, but his enemies that were out to kill him.” He paused. “Harming innocent women and children is not tolerated by Lycans or the Supernatural Council. If they find him guilty, he will be executed. They’ve set his trial to start in a few months after some of the judges get back.”

Gage shifted. “They’re also looking for that FBI agent still. It appears he knows a lot about us, and they’re worried.”

Brandy put her hand on her head and moaned.

“Brandy?” Avery reached out, but Gage blocked her.

“She’s a seer, and she is getting a vision. Let her focus on it.”

They waited as Brandy slowed her breathing, and her eyes moved behind her eyelids as if she was watching a scene play out in her head. Finally, her eyes opened and filled with tears.

“They will not find the agent in time. Someone connected to the agent will change Dylan and Raeff’s path though. The only way they will find true happiness is by saving the girl from the Vampire Council.”
