Forbidden Touch: A Second Chance Stepbrother Romance

“I might actually enjoy that.” I walked out on the patio and yelped as he popped my rear. “Hey! I was kidding.”

“Don’t tease me with the ass. That’ll never work in your favor.” He closed the door. “You wanna go first, or you want me to go first?”

I let my eyes move across the sunset, the view stunning. “I’ll go first, but give me two seconds. I need to grab something.”

He growled playfully as I moved past him and walked into the house, making my way to the bedroom. Was there any good way to tell him something this big? I didn’t think so. Maybe just being honest and getting it out there was the best answer.

I walked back toward him, forcing myself to put one foot in front of the other. What if he wasn’t happy with my news? I’d never heard him talk about a future filled with love or laughter or little feet.

“You okay?” He reached for me the minute I walked back to the patio, his expression filled with concern.

“Yeah. I think so.” I wrapped one arm around him and lifted my chin, wanting to watch his reaction closely. “I know we didn’t plan for this, but there’s going to be three of us around here pretty soon.”

“You got us a dog?” His eyebrow lifted.

I lifted the pregnancy test pinched between my fingers. “No, a baby, but maybe we can turn it in for a dog instead?”

He laughed and pulled me into a warm hug, leaning down and pressing his lips to mine.

I melted against him, letting my fears and worries go. We’d been through a million things together over the last year. My Dad’s disappointment. His Mom’s chemo and radiation. Moving in together and making a deep commitment to love each other forever. A baby was just part of that love now.

“I’m thrilled, baby.” He moved back and took a shaky breath. “I want four kids, by the way. Seems like now’s a good time to let that cat outta the bag.”

  “Really?” I chuckled.

“Yeah. Absolutely.” He touched the side of my face as his expression softened. “I want to be the father to your children and you the mother to mine.”

“You will be.” I pressed my hand over his as my heart thumped in my chest. “You know that I love you.”

“I know. I want to seal it for all time, though.” He moved down to his knee as my heart almost stopped in my chest. He lifted a small black box, popping it open. “Be my wife. Let’s build a house together in the country like you wanted, a family, a life. Marry me.”

Tears blurred my vision, but I nodded and reached down, plucking the diamond ring from the box and laughing. “Yes. Of course, I’ll marry you. I love you so much.”

He stood and put the ring on my finger. “I don’t care what happens, baby. As long as I have you, I have everything.”

“I love you,” I whispered before his lips pressed to mine, sealing the deal and locking me to him for the rest of my life. There’s nowhere I would have rather been.

Two Weeks of Sin: Sneak Peak

  CHAPTER ONE - CHANCE

Being a creature of habit had its perks as much as being a billionaire. I stared down at the random woman, whose face was masked, and thrust my cock into the only opening, which gave me access to her mouth. I was sure the fabric allowed for some breathing because otherwise, she’d be freaking out, but I wasn’t letting up. Because of my money and the power it gave me, I was able to arrange my sex any way I wanted it.

When I was in New York, where I lived part time and worked, owning one of the largest brewing companies in the world, it was necessary to keep my sexual escapades anonymous, so that I didn’t have to deal with anyone trying to come after me with a bogus claim of abuse or worse, a phony paternity suit. Using a third party to set up my random requests had become a way of life, and I loved the freedom of being able to do whatever I wanted to the women who arrived at my private penthouse masked and ready for the taking.

And while this was a necessary evil, something to get me off until I was able to return home, it wasn’t what some might call my passion, though it was damned close.

My cock grazed across her teeth as she wiggled her jaw, losing stamina. I held her chin, keeping her opened wide as my phone rang. “Fuck all.” I looked at the phone’s screen and saw my best friend, Nate’s number. I tossed it to the bed as the woman slurped and sucked. She was worn out and, lucky for her I was ready to come. I tried to pull out but that’s when she decided to suck harder, and I shot a little into her mouth. She let loose fast, swallowing what I’d given her, and I pulled out, placing my cock on her cheek as my cum spurted across the mask, leaving a pearly trail that dripped down around her features. I pulled away, not speaking to her as she stayed on her knees. She wasn’t allowed to move unless I said so.

I grabbed my phone and sat back on the bed, raking my hands through my hair, the smell of sex permeating the room as I dialed Nate back. Then I took mercy on the girl and fetched her a towel. I was in the bathroom when my friend answered.

“What the fuck, man? Are you canceling the trip?” Nate had a way of being dramatic, but in this case, he had every right to be.

“Fuck!” I said, throwing the towel at the woman, who was ready to collapse. “I forgot all about it. I’m on my way.” I ended the call, gathered my clothes, and looked down to the girl. “You can get up when I’m gone. I’ll call again soon.”

She was one of three women throughout the city who I used regularly. Each knew the routine and would be available at a moment’s notice, whether I wanted one or all three. They always showed up masked, and let me use them to my cock’s content, without ever knowing who I was. If they performed as they were supposed to, I’d pay them for their time. So, she stayed there on her knees until I was long gone.

I couldn’t believe I’d forgotten my flight. I rushed down to my car, which was always waiting, and got inside, telling my driver to take me to the airport. I wasn’t going to get to clean up and was thankful that things hadn’t gotten too messy for me because I had a long trip ahead.

I arrived at the airport and found Nate waiting on the tarmac with the pilot who looked even angrier than he did.

“I’m sorry, Lou. I got tied up with business.”

Lou Cravens was one of the best private pilots in the city, and his time was as precious as mine. I liked to know my life was in good hands, so hiring Lou for all my travels was a must, but I wasn’t the only person he worked for.

“Let’s get this show on the road.” He shook his head and clapped me on the back as Nate and I boarded ahead of him. He secured the plane, and before I knew it, we took off.

Nate was pouting, and it grated my nerves when he acted that way. />
“I’m sorry I was late. I was finishing up some business,” I repeated.

He huffed a short laugh. “Tits, facial, or cream pie?” I gave him a warning glare, and he shrugged. “You said you were finishing; I just wanted to know how.”

I looked away, glancing out the window beside me. I loved to fly, and I particularly loved flying over this part of the country.

“Why Nebraska? And who’s ever heard of Viola, anyway?” he asked.

“It’s a small town, but it’s growing, and there’s money. Lots of people in the surrounding areas need the jobs. I think it’s a perfect fit.”

“If it’s so perfect then why another trip? Why not just phone it in. You’ve seen the facility, right?”

“Yes, but now I want to check out the surrounding property. The building that’s there isn’t going to do. I will have to build.”

“So, build somewhere fun. Or fuck it, let’s go somewhere when we’re done. How about Vegas? Just for a night?”

Nate was the last person I’d go to Vega with ever again. He’d made a disaster out of our last trip and nearly landed me in jail.

“Are you out of your mind? Do you think I’ve forgotten the twin’s incident?” He’d harassed a pair of twin dancers who then proceeded to call the cops because she wouldn’t give him change for a twenty.

“That was Vegas?” He narrowed his eyes and then shrugged. “Whatever, let’s do something. It’s been a long time since you and I have gotten any time away together other than business trips.” He was worse than a girlfriend with his you never take me anywhere nice spiel. And that was just one of many reasons I didn’t do relationships. At least, not normal ones.

“I have a meeting day after tomorrow. We’ll have to head back to New York as soon as we’re done in Viola.”

“Is it about another one of your trips home?” He gave me an accusatory glare, and I shook my head.

“Not yet. I haven’t found the right candidate. You know I’m picky.” He knew that things had to be perfect for me to go back home. And not just my preferences, but legalities, paperwork. It was all part of my hobby, and one that I was passionate about.

I made other arrangements when I went back home. I would find a preferred candidate and offer them a hundred grand to stay two weeks in my castle, completely private and anonymous. All I would know was their first name, and vice versa, just how I liked it. The privacy of the castle, as well as the one-on-one time, provided more intimacy than random sex with masked women could, and I’d become rather fond of seeing how I could break the chosen.

“You’re not that picky. You’re choosing fucking Snoozeville, Nebraska, as your next distribution site.”

“One more crack like that and I’ll send you out to run the place.”

He sank in his seat and glared over at me. “You wouldn’t do that to your best friend. Besides, who would hold down the fort while you run off for one of your sex romps?” He had a point. Sadly, he was my right hand, and the only person I trusted with the company.

Teasing him was always fun though, so I gave him a stone-faced glare. “Probably someone who doesn’t act like a pussy.”

He was quiet the rest of the trip.

After we landed and boarded the next car, which was waiting just outside Viola, my stomach growled. I’d cleaned up a bit on the plane, but aside from pistachios, there was nothing to eat on board.

“I’m fucking starving,” said Nate as if he read my mind.

“I was just thinking the same thing, friend. How about I buy you some dinner?” I patted him on the shoulder and earned a narrowed look.

“Hey, you’re the one with the billions, of course, I’ll let you buy dinner.”

He was always kidding me about my money, and he was the only person who could get away with it. His own nest egg was nothing to sneeze at, and he was wealthy enough that he didn’t have to put up with me. He did that because he wanted to.

I glanced up about that time to see a quaint little diner. The place was fifties retro, and I was drawn to the neon out front that read “Angel.” I took it as an omen, and a closer look revealed the “o’s” was burnt out on the Angelo’s Diner sign. I leaned up and instructed my driver to pull over.

If there was an angel inside, she was about to meet the devil.

  CHAPTER TWO - CARRIE

“Dammit,” I cursed under my breath as I sloshed another cup of coffee while placing it on the table. My mood would have been better, as well as my coordination, if I hadn’t had to pull a double after a turnaround. I was beginning to feel like I lived at Angelo’s Diner.

I looked up at Eddie who frowned, but since he was a regular whose time at the place practically made us roommates, he let it go.

Lindy came around the corner and whispered in my ear. “Can you believe that little shit called in again?” My best friend and confidant was as angry as I was. The boss’s niece, Jessica, had called in four times in the past two weeks and had left both Lindy and me in a bind every time.

“Yeah, she’s going to keep getting away with it too. You know it’s not like I don’t have enough to deal with. I’ve got my dad’s illness, housework piling up at home, and bill collectors after me. If it weren’t for them, I might bitch about the extra hours more, but I actually need the money.”

I wasn’t sure the money was worth it at times, knowing that I was working away what could be the last days of my father’s life. I was all he had to take care of him, and I hated knowing he was in and out of the nursing facility. With me working, it was all I could do. He needed constant care, and there was just the two of us since my stepmother bailed as soon as Dad’s heart gave out.

My own mother had passed when I was a baby, so I was trying to do everything I could to care for my father.

“How’s he doing? Did you get in touch with that specialist?” Lindy was the only person in my life that knew about my struggles, and I hadn’t told her the latest.

“He’s the same, and I did. The specialist wants to do a new procedure, but it’s going to be about thirty grand and with the other thirty I owe, I don’t know how I’m going to make it happen. I can’t get a loan, not with my credit from the whole art school thing and let’s face it, for that kind of money I’d have to sell my soul.

“Or your body.” She flashed me a wink, and I blushed.

“Yeah, at this point, it’s going to take a miracle, and unless one walks through that door, I’m screwed.” I heard the bells on the front entrance jingle, and Lindy let loose a laugh as she passed by on her way behind the counter.

“They’re all yours.” She gestured that way.

I glanced up and did a double-take as two of the most handsome men I’d ever seen walked through the door and took a seat at the closest booth. They were both the same height, but that’s where the similarities ended. One was a beautiful blond, who looked like he could model for the cover of a surfing magazine, his hair was to his chin, and his five o’clock shadowed face had soft features.

The other was a bit more mysterious, with piercing blue eyes, chiseled features, and a regal look like some kind of fairytale prince. His eyes met mine across the room, and the intimidating glare sent my pulse racing. He was no prince. Perhaps he would be the villain? He lifted his hand to wave me over, but I was already on my way, taking my order book out of my pocket.

“Yes? What can I get you?” I poised my pen and waited for him to speak, but his friend cleared his throat, and when I looked his way, he looked offended.

“Yeah, what’s the soup of the day?” asked the fair-haired one.

“It’s tomato, and that comes with toast.” I forced a friendly smile, though something about his tone grated my nerves.

The guy made a face. “What other soups do you have?”

  “Baked potato, bean, and vegetable.”

“And sandwiches? Could I get a soup and sandwich?”

“What kind would you like?” I placed my hand on my hip as he gave me a blank stare.

&n
bsp; “That’s what I’m asking.” He looked across the table at his buddy who was shaking his head.

The dark prince passed his menu across the table to his friend. “Here, see if mine reads any clearer for you.” He turned his eyes up to me, and his gaze trailed down my body as if I might be on the menu. “I’ll have the waffles and maple bacon with coffee and juice.”

The other guy looked up from the menu and frowned. “Breakfast for dinner?”

I worked my pen across the tablet and rolled my eyes in Babyface’s direction. “It’s hardly a new concept.”

That earned a smile from Mr. Mystery who took the menus from his friend and passed them to me. “He’ll have the same. And could we get some eggs, sunny side up?”

The other guy huffed out a breath and slumped back in his seat. “Sounds delicious.”

“You’ll love it.” I gave him a wink and shook my head as I walked away. As I went, I glanced over my shoulder, and sure enough, the hotter one’s eyes were following me.

I walked to the back and placed the order while Lindy sidled up next to me with a big grin on her face. I shook my head and let out a long breath. “That was your table. What did they do, stiff you before?”

“No, silly. Didn’t you notice what happened?” She leaned back against the counter and folded her arms across her waist.

“Notice what? Two incredibly hot men came and in and you push them on me? If you don’t want to wait on them, fine.”

“No. The timing. It’s like fate or something. You had just said it would take a miracle, and they came in. One of them could be your Prince Charming.” Lindy was the kind of friend who was totally weird and often inappropriate, but I’d learned to overlook her quirky ways and embrace her crazy.
