Unexpected Love

“I want you here, now!” he growled into the darkness.
She kissed him back with equal ferocity and felt the shudder that ran through him.
“You could have fucked me at the club and I wouldn’t have objected,” she rasped pulling away to unclick his seatbelt.
“Hang on for one moment.” He pushed her off his lap to place her bottom on the center console of the SUV before getting out of the car. He opened the back door and pulled on a latch that flattened the back seat.
She smiled when he looked up with wicked desire in his dark eyes. Without another word he got into the back of the vehicle and pulled her to him. She let go like she trusted him with her life as he flattened her back on the smooth fabric of the flattened seat.
His scorching lips sucked her lower lip as he ran his hand to her throbbing epicenter. He pulled back like he couldn’t wait anymore to pull her dress over her head and pushed down her panties. He moved toward her arousal like it was calling to him and nuzzled the folds before biting hard into her inner thigh. She yelped and felt her folds ooze.
He pulled up and placed his knees on her sides and took his tip to her swollen clit and tapped it.
“Stop teasing me,” she growled, and he grunted in response as he thrust into her deep and hard.
She cried in painful pleasure as her muscles took in the stretch. It was a reminder that it had been over a year since she had worked her inner muscles. She gasped taking in his hardness and wanting more of him. He rammed in and out of her like he couldn’t stop.
It felt so good and she conformed around him like she never wanted him to leave. He had never felt so good and it occurred to him that he didn’t have a condom on him.
“Please tell me you are on birth control,” he growled not wanting to pull out.
“I’m not but please don’t stop.” She pleaded digging her nails into his arms and it triggered something deep inside him, something he had never felt with any other woman. He didn’t mind planting a seed in her and making her his own.
“Fuck! I can’t stop and if we make a baby tonight, you are mine.”
“Rajeev…”
“Say it…are you mine?” He pounded into her relentlessly.
“I’m yours,” she gasped as he built up the rhythm triggering the fire deep inside her that threatened to burn with the heat of an inferno.
“You are mine!” He gritted his teeth letting out the warmth inside her hungry depths. She sobbed as she rode her orgasm, her inner walls sucking him dry.
He collapsed onto her side and pulled her to him like he never wanted to let go.
Chapter 7
It was dark out when her eyes fluttered open. The room was unfamiliar, but it took Piya only a moment to remember where she was. The warm body that cocooned her was a pleasant reminder of the beautiful night she shared with him.
They had finally made it into the bedroom butt naked after being in the car for an hour only to start all over again. She slowly turned to nuzzle his arm before slipping out of bed to walk to the bathroom.
She stood looking at herself in the bathroom mirror; her naked body showed the marks of his passion and desire for her. Piya took her fingers to the burning red impression of his teeth on the side of her neck and felt the sliver of pain that made her pool between her legs.
She splashed some water on her face as her mind took control and told her to get out. Get out before the reality of the situation hit her. She wanted more but she knew it wasn’t what he wanted based on what she had seen at the club. She tiptoed to the car port in a towel and found her dress and her purse in the car. She ran her fingers through her hair before stepping out of the house from a side door on the gate. There were no other houses in the area and thick trees lined the house giving it the ultimate privacy.
She started walking toward the entrance of the private driveway and knew she could get a taxi from there. She had no idea why she was leaving when she had shared a night with a beautiful stranger that promised more. She did what she had to do to free a soul, the spirit of her loving fiancée.
Fifteen minutes later, Piya opened the door of her apartment.
“Jai,” she called out to her best friend and late fiancée. The eerie silence was a reminder that he was gone. She had set his spirit free.
Tears rolled down her cheeks when she realized she would never see the face of her best friend and fiancée who lost his life fighting for the country. She was close to losing herself to the sorrow of losing Jai within the first few months of their engagement. He was her best friend and she was devastated.
She had gone numb and was on high doses of depression medication when he showed up claiming to have been stuck in limbo because of her.
“I can’t leave when you are so unhappy.” His eyes were pools of undying love for her.
Piya had talked to her therapist who had recommended doing something she had never done—like an adventurous vacation, a new sport or getting a pet. It was Jai who had pushed her to move on with her life and told her he would never be at peace if she led her life the way she had for months, in despair and sorrow.
Her eyes ran endlessly when she realized he was gone forever. The pain she had felt when she was told he was no more returned to her heart but she felt a ray of hope. He was in a good place and he had come back for her because he refused to leave without saying goodbye.
“I love you, Jai.” Piya murmured sitting on the floor in the middle of her living room. She placed the brown bag with the morning after pill, she had picked up from the pharmacy on her way home, on the table. She let her head slide onto the soft rug and she curled her body into a ball.

Piya woke up to a key turning on her door and looked at it in shock. No one had an access key to her apartment and she sat frozen on the floor in the middle of the room. She had no idea how long she lay on the floor.
She looked around the room for a defense and her eyes went to the crystal vase that was sure to crack the intruder’s skull if she aimed well. She stood up, holding the vase in her hand, as the door opened slowly.
“Stop!” she cried ready to fling the object at the person but she froze when she saw the familiar stranger at her door.
“Rajeev!” She cried dropping the vase to the carpet in a thud and ran into his arms as he stepped indoor.
“Sweetheart, were you going to hit me with that thing?” He chuckled tightening his hold on her.
Piya cried as the fear left her body only to be replaced by relief. She didn’t know why he was there and how he found her and where he got the spare key from, but she was glad he showed up.
“How…”
“Why did you leave?” He pulled back to plant a kiss on her cheek.
“I don’t know.” She looked into dark eyes that held concerned.
Rajeev brushed his lips over hers.
“How did you get in?” she whispered.
“With a spare key.”
“What? There is no spare key.” She murmured.
“This is Jai’s key.” He held up the key that had traces of mud on it.
“What? How do you have Jai’s key?” Her body was trembling.
“He told me where he had buried it before he left.” His voice was soft.
She pushed him away and took a step back. “Who the fuck, are you?”
“I am the father of the child we made last night,” he smiled with his glorious dimples taunting her.
“What? No!” Piya cried looking at the brown pharmacy bag and realized she had not taken the emergency contraceptive.
“Piya, calm down.” Rajeev commanded in a calm tone.
She let her body slump to the couch running her fingers through her hair. “I don’t understand. Did you know Jai?”
“Not until he showed up at my house this morning.”
“What? You saw him too? Where is he?” She stood up like she wanted to go back to his house.
“He is gone Piya, just like he promised, but he told me to find you b
efore you harmed our baby.”
“I don’t believe this, this is a bad idea.” She shook her head in disbelief.
“Baby, I want you. I didn’t realize what I needed until last night.” He pulled her into his arms. “You are the missing piece of puzzle in my life and I knew it the moment I wanted to sow my seed in you.”
“Are you fucking messing with me?”
“I promised Jai I would take care of you.” He ran his hand over her belly. “And our baby.”
“I don’t believe this,” she cried unable to handle her emotions.
Never in a million years did she think she would find someone from one reckless night of passion.
Epilogue
One year later…
“You know when mommy and I met?” Rajeev cooed to his daughter turning to look at the love of his life, his wife and the mother of his child, sleeping in the rocking chair. He smiled remembering their first night of passion that laid the path for their togetherness.
He couldn’t have asked for more in his life and he remembered the day they sat waiting for the pregnancy test.
“Will you stick around even if I’m not pregnant?” She bit her lip nervously.
“How else would I be the father of our child?” he laughed tying to ease the tension.
“Are you with me only for the baby you think we are going to have?” She was late by a day and wasn’t sure if it was a strong enough sign that she was pregnant.
“I never wanted babies, I never wanted a relationship, but I want it all with you, only you.” He took her into his arms.
Rajeev nuzzled his daughter’s fine hair. “I’ll let mom tell you how we met when you grow up. I wonder how she would describe the club to you.”
Piya opened her eyes to look at Rajeev holding their three-month-old baby in his arms.
“When did she wake up?” She drawled sleepily.
“She was awake when I came to check in on you ladies.”
She stood up to walk to where he stood and put her arm around him. “Let’s go to sleep.”
He kissed her cheek. “Sleep? I had other plans with my wife.”
“I’m sure you do,” she laughed watching him place their precious baby back into her crib.
Rajeev was the only reason she was a normal person again and the best gift she had ever received on her birthday was their daughter Maya.
“I have a surprise for you!”
“You do?” She swirled around with a twinkle in her eyes.
“Yeah, we had dessert tastings at our new restaurant and I told the chef I would need you to pick my favorite.”
“Really? You pick desserts for the menu all the time.”
“Yes, but I’ve decided I want the ones that taste good…on and in you.”
Her breath hitched as he held her reaching for the box of desserts on the island in the kitchen. He picked up a crumble of what looked like a cheesecake and place it in her mouth. His lips followed his hand to hold the sweet thing on her lips and he sucked on her while toying with the crumb with his tongue.
She moaned as he sucked her like she was sweeter than anything in the world making her gasp into his mouth. His touch, his scent and the warmth made her feel like the luckiest woman in the world. She knew her best friend had set her up with the perfect man for her to protect and love her to eternity.
