A lifelong baseball fan and long-term baseball executive, he’s known for his numerous contributions to America’s Pastime, including reform of drug testing policies and labor relations, and has been tenured for more than two decades. He lives with his wife, Sue, and they have three daughters.
PHIL ROGERS is a baseball writer who has reported on the sport for the Chicago Tribune, the Dallas Morning News, the Dallas Times Herald, MLB.com, and the MLB Network. He is the author of three other books, including Ernie Banks: Mr. Cub and the Summer of ’69. He lives in Chicago.
