Fury's Mantle

Tam turned to the others, beaming. “May I tell the others?”
I laughed, then shrugged. “We might as well.” I called back Elan and Jason and the guards.
So there, in front of our friends, we told everyone that UnderBarrow would have two new princesses. There was an uproar, of course, which only drew more attention, and Damh Varias quickly moved in to steer the cheering crowd off to celebrate elsewhere.
I glanced over at Tam and sighed. I missed our home in Willow Wood, but it was time to see our new home. I motioned to the door.
“Show me our new world, love.”
Tam nodded, a blissful look on his face. He motioned for Zed to open the door. Taking my hand, the man I loved most in the world led me down the steps of UnderBarrow into the land that would be our new home for however many years it took us to sort out things.
As I stared at the swath of autumn-tinged trees that surrounded us, it hit me. I was a queen, and I was going to be a mother. How that would play into my future, I had no clue, but one way or another, I’d make it work. Because as lovely as the Shining Lands looked to be, they weren’t my home. I wanted our daughters to know the land in which I had grown up.
Which meant, there were giants to slay and Aboms to send back to Pandoriam, and a god to defeat. And there, my Lady Hecate was fighting for our freedom, as I waited for the day we could return.
If you enjoyed this book, I invite you to read the first story arc of the Fury Unbound Series: FURY RISING, FURY’S MAGIC, FURY AWAKENED, and FURY CALLING.
You might also like my new Wild Hunt Series—a darker urban fantasy. Caught between the worlds of Light and Dark Fae, Ember Kearney was born with the mark of the Silver Stag. Ember and her best friend Angel are led into a glittering world of conspiracy and danger when they are recruited to join the Wild Hunt, run by Herne, son of the god Cernunnos and the Faerie goddess, Morgana. Now, Ember must not only face her heritage, but she must also preserve the delicate balance between the Fae Courts. For if order isn’t maintained, war and chaos will spill out into the mortal realm. Read the first three books: THE SILVER STAG, OAK & THORNS, and IRON BONES. You can preorder A SHADOW OF CROWS.
For lighter—but still steamy—fare, meet the wild and magical residents of Bedlam in my Bewitching Bedlam Series. Fun-loving witch Maddy Gallowglass, her smoking-hot vampire lover Aegis, and their crazed cjinn Bubba (part djinn, all cat) rock it out in Bedlam, a magical town on a magical island. THE WISH FACTOR, BLOOD MUSIC, BEWITCHING BEDLAM, BLOOD VENGEANCE, TIGER TAILS, MAUDLIN’S MAYHEM, SIREN’S SONG, WITCHES WILD, and CASTING CURSES are currently available.
If you like cozies with an edge, try my Chintz ‘n China paranormal mysteries. This series is complete with: GHOST OF A CHANCE, LEGEND OF THE JADE DRAGON, MURDER UNDER A MYSTIC MOON, A HARVEST OF BONES, ONE HEX OF A WEDDING, and a wrap-up novella: HOLIDAY SPIRITS.
The newest Otherworld book—HARVEST SONG—is available now, and the last, BLOOD BONDS, will be available in April 2019.
