Jared helped her to her feet and he enclosed her in his arms. His hair was still damp from his shower and she burrowed her nose against his pectorals, breathing in his sexy, clean scent as Kendry rose and joined them.
Jared tipped her head up, his eyes gazing deep into her soul. “We couldn’t ask for more, angel.” His lips were whisper soft as he kissed her.
They bundled her between them and she drifted to sleep, marveling at the turns her life had taken. She’d blamed her absentmindedness for what had turned out to be one of the biggest blessings in her life. Her son. She hadn’t dared to hope Whit’s father would know about him, but he did, and better still, he loved him. She’d believed the night she met Kendry and Jared that there was no way fate would allow two such amazing men to love her, not after the mistakes she’d made.
She was far from perfect, but she was learning to trust in her instincts and in the love that filled her heart.

I live in South Central Texas, writing the type of novels I love to read: more erotic and edgier than the mainstream, with plenty of sweet romance mixed in. I write erotic romances exclusively for Siren Publishing, under their Everlasting imprint. My love of romantic fiction began as a teenager when my mom gave me copies of Kathleen Woodiwiss’s “The Flame and the Flower” and Bertrice Small’s “Skye O'Malley.” To this day I'm pretty sure that was her idea of the “birds and the bees” talk.
My husband and I met in a scenario very much like the ones I’ve written about. He was the alpha hero who stepped in when this “damsel in distress” needed rescuing from a nefarious pervert. It’s no wonder I went on to write erotic romance when I had him to inspire me. My favorite type of hero is the gentle, lovable giant but readers will discover a variety of heroes and alphas in my novels, from nearly perfect to very flawed. I hope readers relate to my heroines, and the challenges and dilemmas they face head-on.
