Prepping to fill Justin with his cum, Gino leaned forward and held his lover tightly. His tongue explored Justin’s mouth as his thrusts grew even more powerful. Justin’s body began to twitch with anticipation as their hard chests pressed together.

Gino let out a groan as he released inside of Justin. A solid stream of thick cum filled Justin who himself was preparing to cum.

Justin’s hard, curved dick shot cum up onto his chest and stomach as Gino continued to pump into him. Justin’s hole tightened around Gino, squeezing out every last drop from Gino. Covered in semen, Justin rolled over off of Gino, allowing Gino to slip from him.

Lying on his back next to Gino, Justin let out a sigh. “Fuck...”

Gino rolled over onto his side and said, “I love you.”

“I love you, too,” Justin whispered.

Running his tongue along Justin’s stomach and chest, Gino gathered some of Justin’s cum into his mouth and then kissed his lover. The kiss was passionate and salty.

Then Gino rolled onto his back and wrapped his arm around Justin, who put his head on Gino’s chest.

“This was supposed to be our wedding night,” Gino said.

  “It’ll happen, babe. Don’t worry.”

“I know,” Gino whispered. “Thank you for being my rock these past few days.”

“Of course. We’re a team, remember? Besides, you have been my rock all along. Through my blindness, through my family issues, through everything, you always saw the best in me.”

“You have an amazing heart. I just needed to remove the walls around it.”

  “I’m glad you did.”

  “I love you, Justin.”

“I love you, too.” Justin kissed Gino. “Be right back.” Justin hopped out of bed and walked into the bathroom, closing the door behind him.

Gino got out of bed and walked over to his desk near the window. He sat down and opened the top drawer, revealing a white envelope as well as the necklace his father had given to him. He took both from the drawer and placed them onto the desk.

Still naked, Justin emerged from the bathroom. He walked up behind Gino and wrapped his arms around him. Kissing the back of Gino’s neck, Justin looked at the envelope.

  “What’s that, babe?”

“A letter,” Gino said softly. “From my mother.”

  “Your mother?”

“It arrived the day of the crash. Bella gave it to me. I haven’t opened it yet.”

“But your mother is dead. How could it be from her?”

“I don’t know. It’s definitely her handwriting and the postage is current. I’m not sure what’s going on.”

“Well, why don’t you open it?”

“I’m afraid to.” Gino looked up at Justin. “What if my mother is alive?”

“How would that be possible?” Justin picked up the necklace to examine it. “This is the necklace that your father gave you, isn’t it? Have you figured out what this is hanging from it?”

Gino shook his head and took the necklace from Justin. “No. It looks like it’s a part of something else. Like there’s another piece missing.” Gino paused and put the necklace around his neck. “He said Marco would know what to do with it.”

“I remember. It looks like half of an odd key to me.”

“What if we never find Marco? Then I’ll never have any idea what this is or what Father intended me to do with it.”

Down the hall in one of the Ciancio guest rooms, Camille was on the phone while standing in front of the window.

“I just got back from the morgue. It isn’t there. It’s got to be somewhere in this house. Don’t worry, I’ll find it.” Camille ended her call. Then she reached into her pocket and pulled out a small item, almost identical to the one that Carlo had given to Gino on the necklace. She held up the small piece of metal and stared at it. “One way or another, I’ll find the other half.”

In her hospital room, Jacqueline sat in a chair cradling her small child in her arms. Jesse stood nearby in front of the window intensely focused on his mother while Max and Mateo stood quietly in the doorway.

Jacqueline began to softly sing to little Lucy. “Hush little baby don’t say a word...” Her tears fell onto her baby whose eyes opened momentarily to look up at her mother. “Momma’s gonna buy you a mockingbird...” Lucy’s eyes slowly closed.

Jesse looked up at his father and then back to his mother.

Max wiped his eyes and Mateo put his hand on Max’s shoulder.

“And if that mockingbird don’t sing...” Jacqueline struggled with the words as she wept over her silent child. Knowing that Lucy had gone to heaven, Jacqueline looked up at Jesse, whose tear-filled eyes met his mother’s.

Patrick quietly entered the doorway near Max and Mateo. He whispered to the two men. “Dustin just woke up.”

Max and Mateo turned and followed Patrick away down the hallway as Jacqueline sat crying over her baby’s body. Jesse stepped forward and wrapped his arm around his mother. Making sense of seemingly senseless situations can bring people together or tear them apart.

  Episode #44

Even from the grave, people may dictate others’ actions. As the Ciancio and Mancini families gathered at the Ciancio estate on the unseasonably warm and sunny day, the deceased members of their families were at the forefronts of their minds. With the Ciancio family crypt towering behind them and several blossoming tree branches hanging over them, family and friends sat in rows facing the two caskets topped with gorgeous floral arrangements.

Standing at the head of one of the caskets, David Ciancio addressed those assembled in front of him.

“When you grow up as an only child, you wonder what it would be like to have siblings. And when you grow up as an adopted child, while you love your parents and family, you wonder about your biological parents and family. What were they like? Why did they give you up? Would they be proud of the person you have become? Both Tyler and I grew up with these experiences and questions.”

David paused and looked at Joyelle Mancini, who wiped the tears from her cheeks with a white handkerchief. Seated next to her, Emmett Mancini wrapped his arm around her shoulder to comfort her.

“From the moment that we met, Tyler and I connected in a very special way. We understood each other and I was immediately touched by his kindness, his understanding, and his compassion. Only recently did we discover that we were actually brothers – and not just brothers, but twin brothers. It took us both a while to wrap our heads around that revelation and yet, deep in our hearts, we knew immediately that it was true. While we were certainly excited to be part of the Ciancio and Mancini families, we were most excited about the fact that we were brothers. After a lifetime of longing for siblings, our dreams had come true. And as quickly as we discovered each other, I lost him even more quickly in a terrible plane wreck just a few days ago.”

Dressed all in black like just about everyone else present, Rachel Carson quietly approached the gathering and sat down in an empty chair toward the foot of one of the caskets. Derek Mancini exchanged glances with his brother Justin Mancini, who then looked over toward Gino Ciancio for some indication that Rachel had been invited to the funeral. Gino’s expression clearly indicated that she had not been.

“Now I stand here wondering what the future would have been like for my brother Tyler and me. I think about all we would have achieved together, but mostly I just think about how a hole in my life had been filled by his presence. Today that hole feels larger and more empty than it has ever been.” David tried to hold back his tears. “Belonging to our new families was so important to Tyler that his dying wish was to be buried here on our family’s estate with the family members he never really knew. And that both he and I take the name Ciancio, which I have done in his honor.”

Emmett tightened his arm around Joyelle whose crying became more obvious.

Also crying, David continued. “You are in a better place now, my dear brother. And I will carry you with me in my heart for
all the days of my life.” David leaned forward and kissed Tyler’s casket. He then returned to his seat next to Emmett.

In Chicago, Adam Miranda quietly stepped into Dustin Alexander’s room at St. Joseph Hospital. Upon entering, he saw that Dustin was awake, staring up at the ceiling.

“Hey,” Adam whispered as he walked over to the bed. “How are you doing today?”

“What are you still doing in town?”

Adam looked at Dustin’s bandaged head and the sling holding his left arm. “I told you. I’m staying here in Chicago.”

“But why? I’m going to be okay. You can go back to Seattle.”

Adam sat down in the chair next to the bed. “Okay? You may be arrested for attempted murder. I’d hardly call that ‘okay.’ As for me, I’m starting anew here.”

“You don’t need to worry about me. I’m not your concern anymore.”

“Look, Dustin. Over the past few days, I’ve come to terms with the fact that you and I are not ever getting back together. But that doesn’t mean I don’t still love and care about you. You could have died from that fall. And you’re in a lot of trouble now. I want to help.”

“The doctors here are taking good care of me. And Max got me a great attorney. I have all the help that I need.”

“About that,” Adam continued. “Why exactly did Max hire an attorney for you? What is going on with you two?”

“He’s a good friend and he’s my boss as well.”

“You shot his future brother-in-law. That doesn’t make any sense,” Adam said. “Unless there’s something more going on between you two.”

“I appreciate your visit, but I’m really very tired and I need to rest,” Dustin declared, closing his eyes.

“Shut me out if you must, but I’m never going to stop being your friend. We have shared too much of our lives and have too much history together.” Adam paused, realizing that Dustin wasn’t paying attention.

Adam slowly left the room. He took a few steps down the hall and then paused to lean against the wall. As he looked up at the ceiling, the bright overhead lights reflected off the tears slowly creeping down his cheeks. “Goodbye, Dustin.”

A few floors below, Jacqueline Morgan and her son Jesse Morgan were seated with Michael Martinez at a table in the hospital cafeteria. Michael reached across the table and held Jacqueline’s hand.

“I am so sorry for your loss, Jacqueline,” Michael said. “If there is anything I can do for you -- for either of you -- please let me know.”

  “Thanks, Michael,” Jesse replied.

“I know how difficult this has been for both of you.”

“My daughter is with God now,” Jacqueline stated. “She’s in a better place. I have to believe that.”

“I believe that, too,” Michael agreed. “She’s with my father and those special people who have gone before us.”

Jacqueline took her hand from Michael’s to brush some tears from her cheeks.

“What is it that you needed to talk with us about?” Jesse asked.

“I’m sorry to have to interrupt this sad time for you both with business, but there is some news that I must share with you. It’s about Ben.”

Jacqueline’s eyes widened with surprise. “Ben? What about him?”

“I know this may be hard for you to hear, but apparently he didn’t die in the restaurant fire after all.”

  “What? He’s alive?” Jesse asked.

“No,” Michael declared. “Please let me try to explain. It appears that he was murdered a few days ago at a motel on the south side of the city.”

  “Murdered?” Jacqueline whispered.

“There is no question that it’s him. He was shot several times and found later by a maid working at the motel.”

“Damn,” Jesse said. “How the hell did he survive that fire?”

“I’m afraid we’ll never know for sure,” Michael admitted. “But it seems he set that up for us to believe he had perished when he had not.”

Jesse sighed. “Well, at least now we know he’s dead for sure. God knows what else he was involved in to get himself murdered.”

“Unfortunately, there’s more,” Michael stated. “We have reason to believe Ben was somehow behind the Ciancio plane crash.”

  Jesse reacted quickly. “How?”

“Several of the grounds crew positively identified his photos. He was present for the departure of the plane.”

“Ben was working at the airport?” Jacqueline asked.

“We think just for that night. So he could gain access to the plane.”

“But why would he want to cause a crash like that?”

Michael hesitated. “You were supposed to be on that plane, weren’t you?”

“Wait a minute,” Jesse said. “You think he was trying to kill me?”

“You two did have a history, didn’t you?”

“That was a long time ago,” Jesse explained.

“And many of the passengers were also present at the fire.”

“So you think he was trying to finish what he started with the fire?”

“We can only make guesses at this point,” Michael admitted. “We obviously can’t ask him.”

“What a crazy fuck,” Jesse declared. “That man has hurt so many people. And now he’s killed Tyler and Carlo. May he rot in hell.”

Jacqueline put her hand on top of Jesse’s. “Easy, Jesse. Lucy was his daughter, too.”

“The one good thing he accomplished in life.”

“Obviously, we will fill in the others when they return. And I’ll keep you informed if we learn anything more...about the crash or his murder. It may be that his killer was working with him on the crash. Anything is possible.”

  “Thank you,” Jacqueline said quietly.

“I need you both to be a bit on alert. Without knowing who killed Ben and what he was up to, you and your friends could still be in danger.”

“Jesus,” Jesse mumbled. “I feel responsible for all of this. I’m the one who brought Ben into everyone’s lives.”

“I don’t want to scare or worry you unnecessarily. Just keep an eye out, okay?”

“Of course,” Jesse said. “Thank you, Michael.”

“If there is anything at all that I can do for you two, please let me know.”

Smiling, Jacqueline reached out and put her hand on top of Michael’s hand.

As Michael, Jacqueline, and Jesse wrapped up their conversation, Keith Colgan sat beside Jensen Stone’s hospital bed. A bandage wrapped around his head, Jensen was sitting up in bed sipping some water from a cup he eventually returned to the tray on the side of the bed.

“It’s so good to see you sitting up and looking alive again,” Keith said, smiling.

“Thank you,” Jensen replied. “Mateo told me you’ve been here day and night since the car accident. That’s very kind.”

“You saved my life, Jensen. Being here with you is the least I can do.”

  “Have you heard from Emmett?”

Keith nodded. “I have. He calls every few hours to check on you. You are very important to him. I’m sure he’ll come right to the hospital to see you when he gets back to Chicago.”

“And he’s okay? He wasn’t injured at all in the plane wreck?”

“He’s fine. Just a few scrapes and bruises.”

“Thank God,” Jensen muttered. “Has Michael said anything about the driver who hit me?”

“He’s working on it,” Keith stated. “Don’t worry about that. You just concentrate on getting better and getting out of here. You’re a very lucky man. We both are.”

“Knock, knock,” a voice said from the doorway.

Jensen and Keith turned toward the door to see Nick DiCristina, a handsome, blonde, muscular man standing in the door.

Jensen greeted him with enthusiasm. “Nick! Come on in.”

Nick entered the room and stood near the bed. “I heard you tried to play chicken with a speeding car,” Nick joked.

  Jensen turn
ed to Keith. “This is Nick DiCristina. Nick, this is my friend Keith Colgan.”

Nick shook Keith’s hand. “Good to meet you.”

“Nick runs the company that I used to dance for. He taught me everything I know.”

“For better or worse,” Nick laughed. “You were one of our best.”

“Why don’t I give you guys some time to catch up? I’ll stop by later,” Keith said. “Nice to meet you, Nick.”

“Same,” Nick replied as Keith left the room. He grabbed the chair that Keith vacated and pulled it even closer to the bed before sitting down. “You look a bit rough.”

Jensen smiled. “I feel even rougher. But I’m happy to be alive. Things could have been a lot worse.”

“The boys were all very concerned when they heard about the accident. I told them I’d come over and check on you myself.”

“I appreciate that. You’ve always been like a big brother to me.”

“I’m sure you’ll be back on your feet and twerking on a bar in no time.”

Jensen smiled. “I’m not so sure. But maybe.”

  “You can’t disappoint your fans.”

“I’m taking one day at a time,” Jensen said. “But I will admit that I have several ideas running through my head. Ever since waking up, I’ve had a lot of time to think about a lot of stuff. And one of my ideas actually includes you and the rest of your dancers.”

Nick leaned in toward Jensen. “I’m all ears.”

As Jensen shared his idea with Nick, Logan Pryce paced around his new room in the St. Joseph Hospital Wellness Center as Patrick Provenzano sat calmly in a chair near the window.

“How can I answer these questions?” Logan asked nervously. “I feel like you judge every single thing I say.”
