Married to a Brownsville Bully 3 Page 18

Denim moved back to California and was back with his baby mother. The house he was building was now their home. He and Hazel only talked when it came to their kid. She sent him pictures of the sonograms and kept him informed. Yolani was supportive in making sure they kept clear contact for their child. I think Yolani was more excited about the baby than anyone. She was always shopping and talking about the baby. I think she saw this as her second chance to be a parent. Hazel was adamant about the baby calling them both mama, and Yolani feeling like she had say in raising the baby. I was happy for them and couldn’t wait to Sapphire got here so we could spoil her right along with Yaya’s spoiled butt.

Me and Yoshon were talking about having a baby. He wanted another baby and we spoke about having another when Yaya turned a year old. We both agreed to that, but I could have sworn he was working overtime to get me pregnant before then. Yoshon told me what happened to Grand and I wasn’t sad for myself, but sad for my son. Grand could have got out of prison and repaired the relationship with his son. Instead, he chose to do everything except be a father to his kid. It wasn’t like Gyan was asking for his father or even worried about him. Grand was a piece of his past that he forgot about and moved on from. In his eyes, his father was scary and hurt his mother, so he wanted no parts in being around his father. I did hurt for Grand’s mother and other kids. I wanted to reach out to his sister, but I decided to keep it separate. There was no need to get her involved in telling her news that would break their family. Grand moved foul, and in the end, his life was taken from him because of the way he moved.

“Damn, you finally my wife,” Yoshon pulled me against the wall and kissed me on the lips. “You look fine as fuck in that dress.”

I had on a mermaid style lace dress that showed every curve I had, even the ones I tried to hide. It was tight because they had to guess my size since this was a surprise, but it fit like a glove.

“Babe, I’m really your wife. You sure you don’t want to run?”

“Yeah, run right to you. I got my kids and wife, and that’s all I’ve ever wanted.”

You would think he would have me sign papers to protect his money in case we ever divorced. Instead, he had me sign papers that protected me. If we ever broke up, I got to keep three of his businesses and he had to pay spousal support and child support for Gyan. We also signed papers that stated we both split custody of both Gyan and Yashleigh if we divorced. Yoshon didn’t see us ever ending our marriage, but wanted to show that he got me even when I didn’t feel like he did.

Yoshon taking his role at the head of the cartel was stressful at times. He was gone more and had more business to handle than normal, but as his wife, I stood by his side and made sure our family worked. He had been gone a month before this trip so I packed the kids and Bacon up and came to Paris to spend time with him. Our family needed to be together so if that meant that I had to get up and travel to make that happen, then that was what I was going to do for our family. Pit Pat moved out of our house and in with Yolani. She told me that I was now the woman of the house and that I had proven I could take care of her baby boy. I was sad, but happy that she saw how much I loved and cared for her grandson.

In the end, I had got my happily ever after. It had been a while since I had smiled without forcing it or thinking of it. Happiness just came over me now and sometimes, I smiled for no reason. I felt so much love in my heart that I just wanted to share it with the entire world. When a man loved you right, you couldn’t describe the feelings you felt. All you knew is that it just felt right and you never wanted to lose the feeling. I wanted to have all his babies and show him why he married me. I was once married to the wrong man and gave him all the love he didn’t deserve. When it was all said and done, I was now married to a Brownsville Bully.
