  "Mamochka?" she asked.

Allecra smiled widely in both relief and gratification.

"Yes," she breathed. "Yes, it's me."

Then El surprised me by throwing her little arms around Allecra's neck. The older blonde quickly wrapped hers around our child back. A sigh issued from her lungs.

"We've been waiting for you," Elvira said. "Mommy never stopped looking at the stars. She did it every night. I knew she was waiting for someone. I knew one day you would come to us."

Allecra's shoulders shook as she began to cry. I watched them with tears streaming down my cheeks. Allecra held out a hand to me, and I went over and embraced them in my arms.

In the deepest of night where the hard edges of reality were softened and fantasy lurking in the real world, everything in my life was right again.

With all the lights turned off, leaving only the moon to gleam through the window, I pulled Allecra by the hand to my room. The night deepened, but time seemed to hold still for the two of us. There was a lot we needed to talk about, but that could wait. Our ordeal was over. We had other priorities. Without a word passing between us, I grabbed the hem of my gown and lifted it over my head. Allecra was sitting on the edge of my bed, looking at me with heated eyes. I walked over to her and straddled her lap. She wound her arms around me. I could faintly hear her heart thumping wildly against my bare chest.

With nimble fingers, she traced her hands over my sides slowly, causing goosebumps to prickle over my skin. I sighed, all restraints melting away. My own hands went to her shirt and she let me take it off. After we both got undressed and got into bed, we held each other tight, mingling our limbs together. Our hands leisurely explored each other's bodies in the dark. With gentle caress of my wandering hands, one by one, I checked where everything was. My palms brushed over her breasts. They were still in the same beautiful roundness. The velvety skin of her stomach and the feminine curves of her waist, and the familiar bulge between her thighs.

  Nothing changed.

Allecra was whole and perfect just as I remembered her. She exhaled loudly as I touched her. She touched me back, slowly and gently like it was her first time touching me like she was on a treasure hunt over my body. And once she found where she liked most, she would kiss that part with a seal of approval and promise.

She kissed my forehead, my lips, my breasts and stomach and everywhere her lips found my flesh. The craving exuded from her eyes made my breath falter, and once again I felt the long forgotten excitement and the burning passion surging through my body.

After we had satisfied our curiosity of each other's existence, we locked lips again. My heart almost burst with utter elation. I noted the sparks in her eyes as I rolled Allecra onto her back and held her hard erection in my hand. She whimpered softly in her throat. My hand cradled her in gentleness. She felt warm and hard, almost harder than I had remembered.

  "Allecra?"

  "Hmm?"

"Tell me how you came back."

"Triton destroyed the main portal machine of our planet before we left. Now the bridge between the two worlds is broken," Allecra said simply. "And competent as they are, it would take the Arzurian scientists at least a decade to rebuild it."

My hand moved to her femininity and traced over it gently like it was a delicate flower. Allecra breathed sharply.

"But if they succeeded after ten or so years, don't you worry that they would come after you?"

"I spent only five months in my planet, but five years already passed on Earth," she said, "Imagine a decade in Arzuria, how many years will slip away by then considering the different flows of time in the universe? Even if they succeeded in reinventing the new machine, it would be pointless to try and find us now. They might as well work on a 'love campaign'."

  "A love campaign?"

"That's the cure to life for our world, and maybe for every civilization that ever exists in the universe," Allecra said with a smile. "The same as the one you have given me."

A small heartfelt tear of joy rolled down my cheek. Allecra wiped it away from my cheek before planting a soft kiss there.

"Now you can rest assured that no one will take me away from you and our child again," she said, looking at me with loving eyes.

I nodded and kissed her back on the lips, but only briefly.

  "What about your siblings?"

"Only Triton is back with me," she said. "Now he's somewhere in Europe living his dream as a racer."

  "And Xenon?"

This time I saw a look of sadness crossed her face.

"She sacrificed herself for us," she said. "I couldn't have done it without her. I just hope they spare her for future guidance. She's the closest thing to the knowledge of love they've got now."

  "I'm so sorry," I said.

But Allecra shook her head back and smiled again.

"I think that's what she would want for us. We have to move on and live the life we deserve and for those we love."

I nodded and returned the smile.

I spread my legs and moved over her, closing on in and slowly letting Allecra join me in sweetness and ecstasy. Bliss rode over my spine and down my toes. The sensation shrouded me like a cloak of happiness and warmth. I hadn't felt this way in so long I had forgotten how wonderful it was. Like a lost piece to a jigsaw puzzle, everything was complete. With my eyes fluttered closed, I gulped and took a long sharp intake of air. Then ever so slowly, I exhaled, leaning over the sleeping angel before me. My hair flowed over my shoulders and brushed over her naked form.

Allecra's blonde brows knitted from the torrent of pleasure and emotions as we stared into each other's eyes. The night was cold after the rain, but her touch reignited the fire within the depth of my being. It was almost too much to handle. I felt like I was already going to come apart and needed to distract myself.

"Speaking of those we love, how do you feel after meeting our daughter?" I asked, which brought a pleasant smile back to her face.

I was relieved that Elvira and Allecra seemed to have recognized each other almost in a spiritual level.

"Now I know why you seemed amused when I wondered what she looked like."

  "Like a mini-you, right?"

Allecra chuckled quietly, causing another wave of tingling vibration between us. I swallowed the moan in my throat, but I could feel my self-control slipping. It took all my willpower not to start moving, at least not yet. I wanted to savor this, the feeling of having Allecra back with me and in this way again.

"It's like meeting my five-year old self."

  We giggled together.

"Sometimes I was afraid that my aunt and cousins would suspect it. I guess if it wasn't too mindboggling to think, they would have believed Elvira is actually your biological child."

"And they would've been so damn right!" Allecra said. "No DNA test needed."

"I wonder what they will think if they see you both together," I said again.

  She grinned back.

"Well, we'll let their minds wander."

"Do you think Elvira will be like you?" I asked. I was subtly moving at this point. I couldn't help it.

"I'm not sure about that. She has half of the Arzurian blood, but she's also half-Earthling," Allecra said, "Does it worry you?"

"No, not at all," I reassured her. "She'll still be perfect in my eyes, and I will always love her no matter what — just as I love her mamochka."

Allecra smiled widely. She put her hands on my hips and stirred us a little. Her face tensed with stolen pleasures.

"Don't you want your mini-me, too? Another one with beautiful brown hair and gorgeous brown eyes like you?" She asked rather breathlessly, "I just got lucky this time. Who knows you might get lucky next."

"No! I haven't forgotten about my labor pain yet," I said and smacked her arm playfully. "And don't get your hope up. I always use birth control pills to regularize my period."

  "Aw, I'm just kidding!"

  In return, she flexed her
hips harder. I gasped, and my body went weak all of a sudden. I lay atop her with a shivering sensation everywhere. Allecra giggled into my hair and held me tighter.

"Shh...our daughter just fell asleep," she whispered and kissed my forehead, her hands stroked my back sensually. "I think we'll have to learn how to be very very quiet at night from now, because I will make up to you for all the lost times. I’m afraid it’ll have to take me infinity to make up for it.”

I pinched her nose with a smile and leaned to whisper into her ear.

"Then let's start our forever from tonight," I said.

Allecra kissed me back. And my mind got lost in those ardent stormy turquoises again. I knew without a doubt, that those eyes spoke a special language that needed no words. Just by the way she looked at me, I knew whatever we felt for each other would be forever.

We began the sweet rhythm of lovemaking, breathing quietly, listening to our own frantic heartbeats. I clung to her and she to me. All thought, all ability to think but feel and respond, vanished as our lovemaking intensified. I gave up the past and distanced myself from the future and just became one with each other at the moment. We quickened and then we climaxed, and I held onto Allecra, meeting her, joining her in the ecstatic world and beyond.

When morning came, we slipped on out of bed and stood by the window, enjoying the sky glowing to our hearts' content. The dawn moon had moved quite a distance, though it still hovered just above the earth.

The new sunrise approached, but neither of us wanted to move from each other's arm. Allecra rested her chin over my shoulder and kissed my neck. I kissed her cheek back as her hands encompassed my body softly.

The two of us stood, witnessing the beauty of life until the newly risen sun graced the world again, and there was just a white paper moon hanging in the sky.

  EPILOQUE

I was still adjusting to the surprising twists and turns in my life. But I was also grateful to the people who had entered it and each helped shaped my story. Aunt Vikki had shown me kindness and acceptance. My dad had taught me the meaning of family love. Also Robert and the twins and Jordan for their innocent impacts on me, and even Dominika for being the catalyst of everything that led up to this. But most importantly, I was grateful for my mother, who saved me with her motherly compassion and made me who I was today.

Allecra and I decided to settle in our current house permanently. It had everything we needed.

"It's a really beautiful little house," Allecra admitted. "It's just perfect for our little family."

The word 'family' struck a chord with me and warmed my whole being with pure bliss. It was what I had been seeking all my life.

Now, I had my own family.

For the past few weeks, I had watched Allecra and our daughter grew closer together. Every day, I could hear their laughter coming from the living room or the backyard as they played. It made my heart swell with contentment watching them.

They always had some sort of adventures or projects together. And it wasn't long before I found our house crawling with dusting and laundry-collecting robots, or spidery window-washers with their suction rubber feet, and other strange inventions the pair conjured up just for fun. With her mamochka, El was enjoying her new freedom of creativity and imagination, something I hadn't granted her due to safety reasons.

Sometimes they would read storybooks together in our little library or play cheery 'Fur Elise' in twelve different versions on our small piano Allecra had bought for El. She showered our daughter with so affection enough to spoil any child rotten, but Elvira was a wonderful girl and never abused the power she had over us. I told Allecra that it was because she matured emotionally even when she was still in my womb. El never wanted to cause me any trouble. Sometimes I could see the plainest twinkle of joy in her eyes as she looked at us. And when our gazes met, her whole face lit up even brighter.

Allecra also homeschooled El as she saw more benefits that way. Besides, she wanted to spend time with our daughter. And every day, they would get up to make creative breakfast together and pack my lunch and prepare our dinner.

Each morning, I would drive to work with them waving from the house and my face still tingled with their kisses.

And the best feeling in the world was coming back home and walking through the door to find my two favorite girls waiting for my return. They would put off whatever they were doing to welcome me.

Some nights, when El fell asleep, exhausted from the day's activities, Allecra and I would quietly take that moment to tend the embers of our love with endless passion and longing.

Triton came to visit us one harmonious evening.

I saw him smiling in front of our house, and I never knew how much I had missed him until then. I gave Triton a bear hug. We didn't talk, but I understood how much he was sorry for what happened in the past. I told him it didn't matter anymore and how happy I was to see him again.

Then Triton was awestruck, like an artist seeing the great work of Da Vinci or Michelangelo for the first time when he saw our daughter.

'The first of our kind!' he said. 'A true miracle!'

To our surprise, once El knew how Triton communicated, she started talking to him in the same telepathic way through her mind. Even Allecra couldn't do that. And I wondered if there was a limit to what Elvira was capable of.

That night, as we had dinner together, we did not talk about their sister, or about Arzuria. We all knew we had found what we lived for in life. And Xenon would be happy for us. Triton left with a promise that he would visit us often.

A few months later, two remarkable things happened in my life. The first was a novella that I had finished writing based on the story of the White Raven. It got reviewed for the publication as a children's book, and I couldn't be more thrilled. Although it would be too unrealistic of me if I quit my day job to write novels now, that was nothing wrong with having a little dream.

But nothing compared to the second thing that happened to me.

It was on a warm August day when our daughter insisted we drive up the hill near the beach for star-gazing with her telescope.

There the three of us sat down side by side with El in the middle, looking through the telescope's lens. It wasn't a cold night, but we huddled together closely. Then Elvira cupped her hand over her mouth and whispered into Allecra's ear, but she did it too loudly that I could hear everything.

"Momachka, did you have it ready?" she asked. Allecra nodded, and for some reasons, she seemed a bit nervous.

"What's the matter?" I asked them.

"Nothing, there will be a 'celestial firework' soon!" My daughter told me with a sweet smile. Celestial firework was what she referred to the meteor shower.

After a long moment, it did happen. We saw streaks of bright light went across the sky. Their tails were big and flashy against the night. There were so many of them, and we relished in the brightness of the shooting stars that took our breath away.

"Mommy, make a wish! Make a wish!" Elvira cried to me. I looked over at Allecra, and I smiled before I did as I was told. My wish was simple.

I just wanted our family happy together like this always.

Then in the middle of the fantastic show, Allecra leaned over me. I thought she was going to kiss me, but she merely whispered.

"Do you believe I can catch one of the stars for you?" she said. I looked back at her with a skeptical grin. But she pointed to the sky, and I followed her finger, and then she waved her hand across it as if to snatch one of the fallen stars from the black fabric.

"Look what I've got for you," she said, and I had to gasp out loud because between her fingers appeared a sparkling diamond ring. The gem glittered as bright as the stars above us. El was giggling excitedly.

Allecra turned to me with a smile. Her bright turquoise eyes bore into mine.

"Nina," she said softly. "Will you marry me?"

I was trying to hold my tears as I impressed every detail on my mind, relishing this magical moment. To savor
it. Happiness filled my heart, and it was beating so fast, I thought it would burst from my chest.

"Yes," I said, barely control the tremor in my voice. "Yes, I will."

Allecra's eyes brightened with joy. She smiled widely as she proceeded to put the ring on my finger. Then our heads leaned forward for a kiss to seal this promise, all the while, our daughter was our faithful witness.

"Yay, mommy, mamochka! Let's get married tomorrow!" she cried.

We laughed together then kissed our beloved daughter on her cheeks.
