by Viola Grace

They settled in for sleep, and the light snuffling kept Audra up for a while. The banshee-like wail got through even to her, and once the diaper was attended to and the feeding had been taken care of, she looked over to Raiden and smiled. He could take the day shift.

They had a big house nearly finished, and she had no objection to a huge family. All the little storms that were going to go off in their home were going to make her life very exciting. It might be a bit of a riot, but she looked forward to exciting. She was already off to a good start.

The mortal realm was tied to Underhill by her bloodline and his. She was going to make that tie as strong as possible. The world needed more magic.

  Author’s Note

I wrote the last of this book with a killer headache, but I think it came out okay. Only two books left to go. Summer and Wind. And then... a reader gave me an idea via a typo on Facebook, so we might be seeing the shadow realm and what lives in it.

Thanks for reading (and sorry for using your name, Audra... it was an accident, but it does mean storm.)

  About the Author

Viola Grace (aka Zenina Masters) is a Canadian sci-fi/paranormal romance writer with ambitions to keep writing for the rest of her life. She specializes in short stories because the thrill of discovery, of all those firsts, is what keeps her writing.

An artist who enjoys a story that catches you up, whirls you around, and sets you down with a smile on your face is all she endeavours to be. She prefers to leave the drama to those who are better suited to it, she always goes for the cheap laugh.

In real life, she is now engaged in beekeeping, and her adventures can be found on the YouTube channel, Mystery Bees Apiary. Just look for the cartoon kittens.
