CHAPTER FIVE
As Galiac left his home and looked upon the great land of Zerros, he hoped that his mission would not divide Zerros and leave it in ruin and despair. Instead, he hoped for his mission to bring unity, as well as peace, love, and equality to all that lived there as well as those who lived in the numerous universes and galaxies under their control.
In his heart he knew that this had to be done and he also knew that he had put all of the pieces in place, and the final piece of the puzzle was that the Phoenix would return back home to Zerros to reclaim what was rightfully hers. As he thought back to the humble beginnings of the plan, he was amazed that they had come this far without being caught, for if they were caught, it would surely mean certain death at the hands of the evil rulers of Zerros.
Galiac then made his way to his beast named Gadzos and mounted it and began his trek to meet his son Manaka in order to set in motion their master plan. A plan which they knew would put their eternal lives in danger, but one that they were ready to move forward with for the betterment of everyone in Zerros.
As Gadzos majestically sprinted with Galiac on his back, Galiac thought back to his past dreams of earth and of the images of destruction, greed and hate that he saw, and he knew that the timing of initiating his plan was right. And from his past dreams, his final image of earth was one in which the oceans of the earth flowed red with the blood of humans, and the lands of earth were dry, desolate and uninhabitable.
As Gadzos finally reached his destination, Galiac unmounted him and entered the home of his son, Manaka.
“Hello Manaka, the time has come, are you ready to make the ultimate sacrifice?” Galiac said to him.
“Yes I am father, the time of evil in Zerros will come to an end, and she will lead Zerros into a new age of peace and joy the likes of which have never been seen before,” Manaka replied, ready to make the ultimate sacrifice for what he believed in.
“You are too good for this place my son, may your next life be better than this one,” Galiac said to Manaka.
“You taught me everything that I know Galiac, and you are the reason I am the way I am, if my next life is better than this one I owe it to you,” Manaka replied.
“No my son, you owe nothing to me, the God of gods created us, and it is to the God of gods that we owe everything,” Galiac replied.
“You are right my father, to the God of gods I owe everything. How did we get to this point father? How did Zerros become like this?” Manaka asked.
“Pure evil my son, but we will destroy this evil and bring back glory to Zerros, and your name will live on in eternity as one of those who made it happen,” Galiac replied.
“How are you so sure that we will succeed my father?” Manaka asked.
“I have seen the Blue Dragon my son, life has been breathed into it and its time has come,” Galiac replied.
“Then so be it my father, I am ready,” Manaka said, and with those words he sealed his fate by giving Galiac permission to end his life.
“Remember my son, we cannot change fate, when the time comes you will know what to do. Now go and tell those who are with us that the time has come, their training and preparation is complete, and tell them that the battle is coming. Now I must go,” Galiac said.
“And how will I know when they have made their move my father?” Manaka asked.
“I will let you know my son,” Galiac responded.
He then walked up to Manaka and embraced him and told him that he loved him dearly and he then handed Manaka a key.
“What is this key for my father?” Manaka asked.
“This key my son, is the key that will free your soul,” Galiac answered, and he then exited the door.
As he made his way outside he quickly mounted Gadzos and began his journey to the Grand Castle in order to notify the ruler of Zerros of a major breach in protocol; a Zerrosian named Manaka procreated with a human being, and Zerrosian genetics were now mixed with that of the humans on earth. The creators and the creations were now forever intertwined and something beyond what anyone thought possible, even our creators themselves, was about to take place in an earth shattering series of events that would forever change humanity as well as everything in existence.
CHAPTER SIX
As Galiac made his way inside the Grand Castle he was met by the royal guards.
“You are not welcomed here Galiac; you have no right in this place. Leave at once, or you will be imprisoned and left to the mercy of our great ruler,” said one of the royal guards.
“Venetia will be most interested in hearing what I have to say,” Galiac told the royal guard.
“No, you are not allowed to pass,” the royal guard said and they then both drew their swords implying to Galiac that they were ready to back up their words with brute force.
“Very well, I understand, but please let Venetia know that I am here to report a major breach in protocol which I am sure she will be most interested in hearing about,” Galiac told them.
“Report the breach at once to us Galiac,” one of the royal guards shouted.
“No, for this I must speak directly with Venetia, when she is ready to hear what I have to say she knows where I live,” Galiac said as he began walking away.
“Very well Galiac, given the nature of your visit you are allowed to pass,” one of the royal guards told him, and with that, they escorted Galiac towards the throne of Eternity to see the ruler of Zerros – Venetia.
As they walked through the majestic hallways of the Grand Castle, Galiac marveled at the structures and decor. It was a very, very long time since his clan ruled over Zerros and he remembered walking through these hallways, but now they were different.
Gone were the feelings of honor, pleasure, and happiness, which were now replaced with the feelings of greed, gluttony, and insatiability. Gone were the days of betterment for the people of Zerros which was replaced by the advancement and looking after of the ruling clan of Zerros who Galiac was secretly plotting to overthrow.
As they arrived at the massive doors that led to the throne of Eternity, the royal guards knocked three times.
“Who wishes to visit my master?” a deep voice asked.
“Galiac wishes to speak to the ruler of Zerros,” one of the royal guards replied.
“My master does not wish to speak to him,” the deep voice within the room said.
“He has news of a breach in protocol, for which he states that our ruler and master must be informed of,” the royal guard said, and then suddenly the grandiose doors opened, and three royal guards exited and began to lead Galiac towards the throne of Eternity where Venetia sat.
As Galiac looked towards the throne he saw Venetia, along with Yram, Leonis, and Zalde, and right beside them stood Alkazar, and he looked exactly as he did in Galiac’s dream and his massive build was as imposing as ever.
As Galiac stopped in front of the throne, Alkazar made his way down to him, “I could destroy you now Galiac, your powers cannot hurt me,” Alkazar said as he drew the sword of power from his sheath and held it to Galiac’s head in a show of boldness, arrogance, and superiority.
“There is no need for this my friend, you are better and stronger than me, and I have no intentions to fight you. I have thus far enjoyed my immortal life, and I am here only to report this breach to the true ruler of Zerros so that she may correct it in a manner that befits her majesty,” Galiac said to Alkazar so as not to aggravate him or Venetia.
“Let him speak Alkazar, I am most interested in hearing about this so called breach,” Venetia said as she eagerly waited for Galiac to speak.
“Thank you your majesty, firstly let me tell you first–hand that the Grand Castle has never looked better, and you have done more for the betterment of Zerros than any other ruler in its glorious past,” Galiac cynically said to her.
“Thank you Galiac, but please tell me of the breach,” Venetia said to him again.
“I am hesitant your majesty, as this is not something I ta
ke lightly but if you can assure me that no drastic actions will be taken by you, I will gladly tell you of this breach,” Galiac said to Venetia.
“You are in no position to bargain Galiac, and the laws of Zerros will be followed,” Venetia said knowing fully well that the current laws of Zerros varied from the time that Galiac’s clan ruled over Zerros, and the current laws were made to benefit only the ruling clan of Zerros which was hers.
“Very well your majesty, you leave me no choice in the matter, but please show mercy towards our creations on earth for they should not be held accountable for the actions of others,” Galiac stated.
“Enough of this, tell us of the breach now,” Yram impatiently shouted to Galiac.
“I am sorry, so please forgive me your majesty. But I am here to report that I, Galiac of Zerros, has procreated with a human being on earth and the Zerrosian genetics are now mixed with that of the human genetics on earth,” Galiac said to Venetia.
Upon hearing the news, Venetia breathed a sigh of relief and looked at Yram, Leonis and Zalde and she then slowly looked towards Alkazar, and as she glanced at him he knew what had to be done. She then nodded her head, and Alkazar raised the sword of power and quickly sliced the sword through Galiac’s liquefied body, and he disintegrated to nothingness and was no more as his immortal life quickly came to an abrupt end.
“I’ve waited a long time for that Alkazar; our greatest foe is no more. The clans of old will never rise up against us again,” Venetia gladly stated, as Yram, Leonis and Zalde looked on in absolute delight.
“Will there be anything else your majesty?” Alkazar asked.
Venetia then looked at him and boldly stated, “You know the rules Alkazar, you know what must be done, prepare the army. The time of the humans has ended. Destroy their universe and everything in it.”
CHAPTER SEVEN
As Dean, John, Bismarck and the two knights made their way to Salt Lake City they could see and hear the sounds of gunfire as the battle raged on. From where they stood they could see the fighting, and they positioned themselves nicely and began shooting at the knights from their hiding spot.
One by one they carefully shot down the knights and as the knights looked around to see where the gunfire was coming from they were unable to tell, then suddenly a few of the knights spotted them and began firing upon them.
As they fired upon them they ran for cover and hid behind a set of large rocks, and as they did so, more and more knights started coming towards them, and as they surrounded them, Dean, John, Bismarck and the two knights sheltered themselves from the onslaught of bullets and lasers that came their way.
As the onslaught continued they tried to fire back but there were too many knights, and they soon realized that they were cornered like weak prey awaiting the eventual kill shot from their lethal predators. As the bullets and lasers slowly destroyed the rocks they were hiding behind, one of Bismarck’s knights made a run for an airmobile, and as he did so, he was quickly gunned down by a hail of gunfire.
“No,” Bismarck shouted as his longtime companion lay on the floor hoping for a small miracle to save his life, the knight was still trying to move and upon seeing that Bismarck ran in the opposite direction in order to distract the enemy knights from his almost disabled robotic friend.
As Bismarck ran into the open field the knights fell for the distraction, and they opened fire upon Bismarck, but he was fleet on foot and quickly ran for cover. As John saw that the knights were distracted by Bismarck, he quickly ran for Bismarck’s damaged knight and pulled him towards the relative safety of the airmobile.
The knight, using some of his own strength climbed to the back of the airmobile while John climbed to the front of it and as he did so, he started the airmobile and took off to the sky above and began firing towards the knights below.
Meanwhile, Dean and the other rogue knight were now forgotten about due to the distractions of Bismarck and John and they ran for another hiding spot closer to the heart of the city. As they got closer they could see a small gun battle raging, and Dean and the knight slowly crept up behind the band of knights and they then stopped a safe distance away and the rogue knight opened fire upon his own kind causing enough of a distraction and gave the humans the upper hand in this small gun battle.
Then, within a few minutes, the humans destroyed the knights. They then gave Dean a gun and they all went back to the outskirts of the city to help John, Bismarck, and his rogue knight.
As they ran, they could see the airmobile firing upon the knights and Dean and his newfound companions started firing upon the knights as well. Bismarck who was still by himself saw Dean amongst the crowd and managed to join them and was quickly handed a weapon. As the gun fight raged on, the knights were being fired upon from two directions and they were suffering a rash of casualties. They tried to fight back but the onslaught of the humans was too much and the knights were easily killed off.
As the knights fell, John landed the airmobile, and as he did so, Bismarck ran to see if his knight was still alive but it was not to be, and to his dismay, the knight lay dead in the back seat of the airmobile.
Upon seeing that, Bismarck and the other knight shed a few tears and lay the fallen knight on the ground knowing fully well that once the battle for Salt Lake City was over and if they were still alive they would return to bury their deceased friend.
“Thank you for the help, we are sorry for the loss of your friend,” one of the humans named Jenna said to John, Dean, Bismarck, and the lone rogue knight.
“This is the price we have to pay in this battle, victory may not come to us, but I guarantee you that we will not go down without a fight,” John replied, and with that the group then commandeered the few remaining airmobiles and ground vehicles and headed into the city to continue their fight against the knights.
As they made their way into the city, some were in airmobiles, and others were in ground vehicles while others were on foot. They then tactfully made their way to the center of the city which was where the vast majority of humans were trying to stave off the hundreds of knights that were intent on killing every single one of them.
“This way,” Jenna said pointing to an empty road that led towards the heart of the battle.
The group then carefully moved forward keeping an eye out for a possible ambush, but there was none. They finally made it to the end of the road and as they turned the corner, they could hear the battle raging on not too far away and as they saw it they couldn’t believe the amount of knights that were present.
“What do we do Jenna?” asked one of the humans.
“All we can really do is fire upon them and take out who we can and then takeoff and hope they follow us which will hopefully make the fight more manageable for our friends,” Jenna replied. And with that, those on foot jumped into the ground vehicles and then both of the ground vehicles and airmobiles readied themselves and came out with guns and lasers firing on all cylinders and took out dozens of knights in the process.
They then took off to the outskirts of the city in a bid to take some knights with them and as expected the knights took the bait and followed the group of humans. As the humans headed away from the core of the city they were well on their way to the outskirts when to their surprise in the not too far distance they spotted a new battalion of knights heading towards them.
They were now trapped between two sets of knights with nowhere to go, both sets of knights then opened fire on the group as they sat in the open trying their best to stay alive from the hail of bullets and lasers that were being fired upon them. They were now caught in the middle with nowhere to go and as the barrage of bullets rained upon them they began to suffer casualties.
Then suddenly, out of the sky the massive superhuman aircraft appeared and began firing upon both sets of knights; and for the knights that ran for cover, some of the superhumans used their abilities to destroy them. As the knights fell by the dozens, many superhumans came down from the ship above and joined
the humans as they embarked to the center of the city to kill off the last of the knights in Salt Lake City.
As the humans and superhumans made their way to the core of the city, they killed off the knights who were in their way. They then finally arrived to where the main battle was taking place and strategically set themselves up, “Follow our lead,” Jenna shouted to Dean, John, and Bismarck and then they all began firing upon the knights without mercy.
Some of the knights tried to escape the hail of bullets and lasers, but one by one the superhumans used their unhuman–like abilities to destroy them until eventually the knights were all dead and the humans of Salt Lake City were now safe and sound in the ever compassionate hands of the superhumans of Alaska.
As the battle ended, Jenna grabbed a bullhorn and proclaimed victory over the knights and invited all humans to join the superhumans as they had completed their mission to save any humans that were within reach of saving and bring them back to the superhuman stronghold of Alaska to join them in their battle against the betasapiens. As they all entered the ship, the humans were grateful to have been saved and showed their appreciation to the superhumans.
Dean, who still had hope in finding Jonah and Ava ran towards Jenna with John, Bismarck and the knight right behind him, all of them hopeful that she could help Dean find his treasured children.
“Hello, my name is Dean, and my children were supposed to be in Las Vegas, is there any way we can go there to find them?” Dean asked in hopes of getting some much needed help to find Jonah and Ava.
“I’m sorry Dean, Las Vegas is no more, we received word a few days ago that the knights annihilated the city and nothing is left, it’s barren now, I’m sorry about your children and your home,” Jenna responded.
“Are you sure about that, did anyone escape? And that’s not my home, I’m from Denver,” Dean said.
